How about this little theory: A hacker has commited a grand bitcoin theft a while ago and is now trying to clear the trails to these Bitcoins through a puzzle. The one who will win the grand prize is the hacker himself, who can now hide behind the claim he has won the Bitcoins with his sheer knowledge. Edit: Maybe the victims can ask for a subpoena to check a certain Binance account? Maybe there is another account at Polo, that might be interesting for LE. the Murder for higher being dropped should be enough proof. If the government is going to lock someone up for Life they have to be guilty buy unreasonably doubt. they based the guilty verdict and conviction off of pending charges (the murder for hire) off of a crime that was later dropped. that alone should be truth It was dropped, because there was no evidence that the actual murders took place and not because the corrupt cops were tampering something on Ross U's computer. Ross still intended to kill 6 people to protect his 'drug empire', which has been clear from the chatlogs, which were obv. not tampered. |

How ledger will be held and synced by many people ?
Blockchain is not just transactions. It has miners, full nodes and confirmations... how do you guys explain that? I don`t think it`d be a Bitcoin transaction without a miners to confirm and full nodes to keep the ledger

I think, that AA used this as an example for other data transportation than the internet and not for practical means. You can send binary data in a lot of different (and probably more usable) ways than smoke or flag signs, like mesh wifi or short wave radio signals.
Humanity is obv. experiencing a transformation, where brains are connected to each other by fast data streams and there is nothing, that can stop this. Bitcoin is just one of the effects of the ongoing decentralization.

What do you mean by "... the data you got so far"? I am not sure what should be included in this SHA256 hash.
Edit: "the data" could mean everything incl. your postings, the website and so on. If we are only talking about the image it could be everything incl. metadata, size, visible and hidden numbers, fields, pixels etc. in endless possibilities of combinations of these all. Makes no sense this way.

I hope we will end up with a solution, that is focused on more testing AND the advancement of new coding talents, by the regulars - maybe through Bitcoin specific coding challenges/training, bounties etc.
Also, if coders are being paid by a company, that is depending on a healthy Bitcoin network, this is obv. good for everyone in the network.
I also see an extended testing as the best solution to the intentional injecting of bad code by infiltrated state/organisation/company actors, which is probably already taken place at this time.

Just want to bring my old idea up, due to CVE-2018–17144 and a comment I read https://medium.com/@awemany/600-microseconds-b70f87b0b2a6I always feared that someone from the bankster circles, someone injected into the Bitcoin development circles with the sole goal of wreaking unsalvageable havoc, would do exactly what happened. Injecting a silent inflation bug. Because that is what would destroy one of the very core advantages that Bitcoin has over the current status quo. Still pretty much possible to me to intentionally infiltrate obviously harmless code, that is in reality exploitable. Non sono l'uomo del video.
He must have been there around that time I was in Rovereto.
I have been in Rovereto a few days and I had no time to visit all the Bitcoin accepting shops, but I bought some drinks, used the Bitcoin ATM, bought Tshirts and a Bitcoin lighter, some toys for my daughter and cigarettes. I could have checked in for Bitcoin at the Hotel Rovereto (which I didn't) and one vegan restaurant has only one person who is able to accept Bitcoin payments, who wasn't working at that time. Anyway, I enjoyed the place and it is worth another trip.
