381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 30, 2017, 11:29:53 AM
Hope they will announce the budget of investment this week and we can decide on REAL a bit more easier.

I'm pretty sure they are making it a priority now, so I'm hoping it'll be available this week as well.

Yup. Atleast come with a clear statement on how things are going.

They've been sharing info on Telegram. I wouldn't say they are the most active communicators, but they aren't silent.

Sylon,

It looks like you've addressed a lot of recent comments/questions in this thread, but missed mine from a few days ago.
I'm reposting in case you didn't see it.

Thanks!

My info isn't showing up on the spreadsheet for the Reddit bounty. I filled in the general Google Docs form as well as for each of the individual posts.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: October 30, 2017, 11:17:24 AM
The company's legal counsel has cleared them from a regulatory perspective, so the website is on track to go live in a few days.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 29, 2017, 07:04:37 PM
Does anyone know specifically how the REAL / RPP transaction exchange process will work?
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Swarm Fund 2.0 - Cooperative Ownership Platform for Real Assets on: October 29, 2017, 07:00:20 PM
What's the soft cap for this project? Now that they are getting close to the end of the ICO, does it look like they will hit the soft cap amount?
386  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitpetite tumbler on: October 29, 2017, 06:58:07 PM
Has anyone ever had a problem withdrawing funds?
387  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitpetite TRIAL AND REVIEWS Bit Petite MY TEST on: October 29, 2017, 06:55:45 PM
I'm skeptical because it seems too good to be true, but I have to admit that it's tempting.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [BQX] Bitquence: Universal Wallet and Value Management Platform on: October 29, 2017, 06:47:17 PM
The Bitquence price has performed relatively well over the past week or so, given the altcoin sell-off. From the price chart, I would hazard a guess that this coin has effectively bottomed, looks like it's only going up from now on Smiley

I agree...this is a strong coin, so I don't know if it'll drop much going forward.

I sold off a few of my alts to pick up a few coins I wanted to increase my investment in, but BQX is one that I won't sell off.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: October 29, 2017, 06:44:03 PM
Grin Wohoo!!! A 1000 Veri going cheap as chips on Ether Delta at the moment, I'm not sure we are going to have them at this price for much longer, possibly might sink to around $40 even which would be good for anyone wanting to stock up but we are nearing the point where Reggies work will start bearing fruight. Just putting it out there, don't care about wether people agree or dissagree so argue with someone else

There are a few tokens I own where I want the price to drop so I can pick up more, but VERI isn't one of them. I'm ready for this one to start increasing in price again because I've got as much as I need for now.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SNOV.io decentralized lead generation service on: October 29, 2017, 06:42:11 PM
When will contributors actually be able to start earning money on the project from companies that are looking for leads? Unless I missed something, it doesn't look like there's a marketplace yet.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Spectre.ai - 1 hour until pre-sale live! on: October 29, 2017, 06:36:46 PM
Here's a really important video. The cryptoworld guru Clif High is interviewing Kay Khemani, the CEO of Spectre

Enjoy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX1MJIhYd5o

That was a great interview. I wouldn't be surprised if Spectre goes 5x or more once it hits the exchanges.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: October 29, 2017, 06:34:20 PM
Zontop, do you mean MVP or are they already launching a workable product to borrow and lend? Thanks.

They have said you will actually be able to trade invoices during Beta, which is still expected to launch in November!
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: October 29, 2017, 06:33:35 PM
ecivfesrire, normal business owners and managers would not do it, but the world is full of scammers, who are happy to grab even 10,000 and run away. 50,000 is a gold mine. What happens then is a sad story for all creditors, who have been scammed. Bankruptcy procedure begins, business has no remaining assets, director is unknown or "shabby" and recovery is unlikely. That is the worst case scenario.

Businesses will be vetted in advance of using the platform to make sure they are at least legitimate, operating companies. Of course, this doesn't mean there's guarantee of repayment, but it should greatly reduce the risk of fraud. Plus, the invoices will be insured by an institutional insurer, who I assume will be doing their own vetting as well.

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: October 29, 2017, 03:01:09 AM
I've been thinking about the risk/return side a little more. By investing in REAL, you're buying into EU real estate (although we don't really know what country for sure). It also sounds like it'll likely be hotel investments. Let's put aside the possibility that they are actually just going to sell you a property they already own.

Holding on to tokens is therefore a hedge against crypto investments. Essentially you're saying you'd rather sell some of your cryptos, convert it to fiat (Euros) and buy real estate. You're betting that the 12% - 20% returns they are targeting is better than you can earn in cryptos on a risk-adjusted basis.

Assuming they will be buying hotel assets, it's likely a bet on the economy (although we don't know which one). Most hotels either target business travelers or tourists, but both depend on a strong economy. So, in order for your investment to do well, the dependant economy has to do well.

It sounds like you won't have to buy into each investment they propose, but since they didn't raise that much money, I don't know how many choices you'll have. If you don't like their first investment, you can hold onto your REAL tokens instead of buying RPPs, but then you're not earning a return on your money, so it's just tied up.

Of course, if the Euro isn't your local currency, then you're you're taking that currency risk as well.

I know nobody asked the question, but I find this ICO fascinating and it's helping me become a better ICO investor as I think about what I'd REALLY be buying into.

Your analyses are always top notch. Maybe you should start an ICO analysis and rating service Wink

Thanks. I would if I could, but other people understand the tech much better than I do. I'm much better with understanding the business model, so I could only do it with a partner who understands blockchain tech better.

Analyzing business models of ICOs could be a valuable service by itself. I really enjoyed reading your contributions here about REAL and they sound absolutely coherent and convincing. I would even say that the business model is the real deal of any ICO. Maybe we should get something going! Wink

I appreciate the feedback. Feel free to PM me if you have any ideas!

Wow. Well, that was useless. Does that mean they are still behind on developement or havent started at all?

Today Melissa said on telegram that we can expect news about new budget and platform in 1-2 weeks

Is anyone able to explain that excerpt: "We will not have a budget of 80% of total raised funds if we want to execute the model outlined in the whitepaper, even when that budget of 8MM USD was stated in the whitepaper". Is that gramatically or logically correct?

It was poorly written, but I assume it means the budget will be more than 20% of the raised funds.
