381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins don't have enough HODLers - sell high & buy low on: January 14, 2018, 03:32:02 PM
Community what is your opinion on this?

I see good projects, I see them growth but as soon as the market is consolidating everybody is making their buck and pull their money out.

As hodler its a true pain in the ass, because you see many good solid projects decreasing by more than 50% and taking ages to get back.

The sad part of this story is that, if you see this happening the next time and you feel the market consolidating, you will just sell high and buy cheap again.

But is this the trend we want to follow? Undecided Huh

Thats the sad part of crypto trading indeed, almost everyone is already profit oriented instead of actually using or learning the coin. So many good projects are unfunded but in the meantime there are projects done by college kids are earning millions. I really do hope all the drama and shilling ends and more focus be placed on using green sustainable energy solutions.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin and GOODBYE (Let it goooo) on: January 14, 2018, 03:22:07 PM
I've seem an increasing number of posts with this sentiment lately. The problem i have is that people keep saying bitcoin is dead or slow or expensive but they fail to consider the fact that bitcoin is continuing work in progress. There are devs that are constanntly working to ensure that we have a better bitcoin. AFAIK, the LN network is already ready. Instead of FUDding or own investmet we can do our part and promote bitcoin to our friends and family.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: January 14, 2018, 10:53:26 AM
Hilarious. The topic starter is shilling his shitcoin by calling bitcoin and ethereum a shitcoin.

FYI, your WTC (whatever the hell that is) shitcoin was based on BTC and ETH. That means your coin is shit of shit.
Its probably created by shit developers who just learned about crypto last month. About damn time, must have took them forever to fork BTC/ETH code.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or bitcoin cash on: January 14, 2018, 07:37:35 AM
If you can guess, eth or bitcoin cash which will first hit btc?

It will obviously be ethereum. Bitcoin cash is a scammy coin which is mostly centralized by two people who want to control the way bitcoin works. These two people are Roger Ver and Jihan Wu and if you look closely you'll see them pumping and dumping bitcoin cash all the time. Their goal is to make more money and control bitcoin.

Ethereum on the other hand is run by Vitalik Buterin and has more ambitious goals. Ethereum is also much better in terms of technology because it has smart contracts.

You could have found this out by doing a google search.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 14, 2018, 01:50:54 AM
Calculation:
1st February, 2017
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $11

10th January, 2018
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $1200

$1200/$11 = x109.091

If continue this uptrend in 2018 of which as started already and return another x109.091 by January, 2019. Price/ETH will be $132000/ETH.

Its really nice when someone does the math. How can anyone argue with this now? He must be right. Lol.

I'm very bullish and optimistic on the outlook of Ethereum but i realistically see it within the $3000-$5000 range by next year. Still a good buy today especially with all the advancements and upgrades Vitalik has lined up for Ethereum.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Darn etherdelta on: January 13, 2018, 03:31:15 PM
Speed depends on the time of day probably. Its slowest i believe during peak north america hours (whatever that timezone is).
My etherdelta loads same as before meaning slow but manageable.

My main thing about etherdelta is the high fees. Everything move costs maximum gas fees of which I believe etherdelta pockets some. High fees + slow loading? Something has to change.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deepbrain Chain ( DBC ) on: January 13, 2018, 05:54:49 AM
I don't care about the price of DBC as long as we still understand about the crypto becomes mainstream in the future and the mass adoption will come. Look at the chart and how the majority of the price already above the ico price. another neo project will come called thekeyvip and it looks good as dbc too.

Um, thekeyvip, really? I hope you just invested that because that new ICOs sounds so lame.

The problem with crypto becoming mainstream is that there will be so many scams either through ICOs or other methods. People will have to filter out real projects from a haystack of scams. Hopefully this deepbrain chain isnt a part of that scam stack.
388  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Adds 240,000 Users in One Hour!!! on: January 12, 2018, 11:23:47 PM
Can anyone explain like i'm five whats so good about binance? Don't really see why everyone is going crazy about joining binance when other exchanges work perfectly fine. Take a look at kucoin for example, another new exchange which works lightning fast.

I'm speculating that its all because of the black user interface that makes it feel "exclusive?" Ha.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin - A World-class Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform on: January 12, 2018, 03:10:20 PM
Looks like its pretty much all positive news for kucoin. Albeit, posts are mostly from unknown members, but still, i don't see anything stopping kucoin from becoming a more successful exchange. Possibly even one of the top cryptocurrency exchanges out there.

Since this is the altcoin discussion section anyway, you should also consider KuCoin Share as an investment. Its like a POS that gives you shares based on trading fees on the kucoin exchange.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] EDOLLAR LOGO POLL on: January 12, 2018, 01:58:43 PM
Whats the reward here? I like bittoken's logo best (https://i.imgur.com/BPXsqjA.png). The infinity sign which could also be interpreted as a horizontal dollar sign is really eye catching. I actually opened all images in different tabs but the infinity sign made me double back and really look at it more. Hopefully the winner of this bounty or whatever it is gets paid. Good luck!
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's after Ethereum? on: January 12, 2018, 01:46:58 PM
The "next thing" after Ethereum will be Ethereum version 2. ETH being more than just a programming platform is so encompassing that literally almost anything can be built on it. If there will be anything further, it will be based on Ethereum's original design and will continue its legacy. All the other coins seem to be profit oriented but ETH was designed with a specific purpose. I am very optimistic ETH will last.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All altcoins with same value. on: January 12, 2018, 10:17:57 AM
Just wondering what if all altcoins has the same value as bitcoin and they are all stable on that value what might happen? What do you think guys?

This is a whole new level of spam. Hopefully your campaign manager reads and takes note of this.
What are you talking about? What is the point of your questions?

Bitcoin and altcoins do not have the same value.
Nothing is stable in crypto.
I think you are spamming.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling tokens from myetherwallet on: January 12, 2018, 05:45:13 AM
you can use etherdelta.com for ethereum tokens. and you can use bittrex.com and poloniex.com

Many have said that etherdelta has been compromised. Ever since the DNS hack to their website things have started to change. Last i read they were now holding an Etherdelta ICO. Sheesh. Any other alternatives for trading tokens aside from there?

EDIT: Found Kucoin which is an amazing (and rewarding) exchange for many alts as well.

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange KuCoin and KuCoin shares on: January 12, 2018, 12:45:33 AM
Was recently invited by a friend to join KuCoin. At first i was skeptical but seeing their revenue model it really seems sustainable and could possibly be a good alternative to big exchanges like bittrex or poloniex. The website is LIGHTNING FAST as well. Good for trading.

Can any kucoin holders share how much revenue they've earned by holding KCS? Anyone achieved ROI from holding yet?

I may be wrong but I calculated around 6% per year. but of course, this not counting the value of the coins, that may appreciate, and the value of KCS itself that is also on the rise.

Not bad. I calculated around 4% but thats already at par with NEO's POS staking rate. And that is based on CURRENT users. As the exchange keeps growing and more users join i'm pretty confident that the bonus grows as well. I speculate that it could double to 8% this year (more people are joining crypto and looking for good exchanges to trade on).

So there, I think kucoin shares are a good investment for diversification. I've been investing in different industries (health, gaming, crypto platforms, etc) and kucoin would fit perfectly for an investment in "exchange services."

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Altcoin the new Microsoft of blockchain! on: January 11, 2018, 09:46:08 AM
Good job to whomever is marketing this altcoin.

I first was click baited to fluid ledger with a topic title saying "this altcoin claims to be the bitcoin destroyer" or something like that. Catchy, but in reality is nothing but just another altcoin. But props to the paid shill. He/she does his job well. I would never have know about fluidledger otherwise.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram planning an ICO - Your thoughts? on: January 11, 2018, 08:55:03 AM
This is most likely, FALSE.

Telegram would never launch an ICO. The purpose of ICOs is to collect money but telegram is freely funded by rich people whose goal is to make quality messaging 100% free.

This is directly taken from the TELEGRAM FAQ:

Quote
Q: How are you going to make money out of this?

We believe in fast and secure messaging that is also 100% free.
Commercial companies frequently face the need to compromise their values for financial gain. This is why we made Telegram a non-commercial project. Telegram is not intended to bring revenue, it will never sell ads or accept outside investment. It also cannot be sold. We're not building a “user base”, we are building a messenger for the people.
Pavel Durov, who shares our vision, supplied Telegram with a generous donation through his Digital Fortress fund, so we have quite enough money for the time being. If Telegram runs out, we'll invite our users to donate or add non-essential paid options.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What about NEM? on: January 11, 2018, 02:44:20 AM
What do you think will happen to the price in 2018? Will the catapult release affect the price?

+1 more for NEM. Very optimistic on the future of this coin.

You don't see them marketing on mainstream crypto channels because they are doing very targeted ads to a specific target market. I can say this because they've been heavily promoting not just NEM but crypto in general in my country. They regularly do events and meetups to introduce people to cryptocurrencies and even hold regular hackathons for blockchain developers.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins should I get rid of? on: January 11, 2018, 02:05:22 AM
Wow congratulations on the gains. Nice portfolio. I hope thats not your entire port and you actually have some on Bitcoin and Ethereum?

The way I see it theres no reason to sell coins on your portfolio unless you believe that it has no more room to grow or they are headed for a decline. Investment people will always recommend you to consolidate but this is crypto and maybe rethinking why you need to sell would be a good thing to do. If you can manage and track all of them then why the hell not keep all of them.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the deeponion haters now?? on: January 10, 2018, 03:28:49 AM

Right on cue. Lol.

Anyway OP i hope you cash out your deeponion now. It's most likely in a bubble thats about to crash anytime soon. It only takes one of you airdrop holders to give in and cash out and everyone else will probably already cash out. But congratulations on riding the pump. Shitcoin or not, money is money.
