xing fingers that they deliver on time.  have nice investment in this.  this could be the next Avalon!  Prices could easily go up 10X on each unit.
390  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL 500Mhs Mining Rig over $22,000 - Scheduled shipping April 2013 on: June 11, 2013, 08:42:54 PM
What's there to disagree with??? Go to the webpage, it says the 500GHs will start deliverying in second half of April.  It's June now and it hasn't begun deliverying yet.  So what's there to disagree with?

I have to disagree with OP. Why? I will have over 50GH worth of BFL hardware tomorrow. Keep bitching.
391  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL 500Mhs Mining Rig over $22,000 - Scheduled shipping April 2013 on: June 11, 2013, 06:34:52 PM
Just pointiing out the facts. If they were smart they would read my post and update that date on their website.  It's not called bitching, it's called pointing out the facts.  Getting the info out to the public.  Things, I'm sure you've done befoer Swede.  Your comments are unjust.

"Pre-order Terms: Bitforce SC (ASIC) products are in final stage development with initial shipping scheduled for the last half of April 2013. Products are shipped according to placement in the order queue, and delivery may take 2 months or more after order. All sales are final."

What kind of legit company doesn't update their freaking order page when they have obviously past the delivery timeline???  SO glad I dumped all my orders on Ebay for a profit.

No one likes BFL delays but bitching about the obvious is just tiresome. Especially if you don't even have orders anymore. Get a hobby.

Who's making Asic V2?

It's scary that 3 Jupiters can make 149k a month at current difficulty

Unfortunately, that's not going to last.

Avalon is shipping 500K chips (150T) and will start delivering the batch2/3 (solved shipping, solving the rest AFAIK) for another 80-100T. ASIMINER will have to add, say, another 50T to keep their share.

I'm not even counting Bitfury et Al. and that's already 280-300T more (about 3x difficulty).

KNCMINER might add another 300-500T, so we end up at ≃ 700 - 900T or 7x/9x difficulty. KNCMINER is arriving supposedly slightly AFTER Avalon et Al. so it's aleady more like 50K. Still not bad but the BTC might take a dive "real soon now (TM)" AND all the KNCMINER miners are supposed to arrive in a very short timeframe so it will look more like 7-15K and your payback period is already in months, not days. And Avalon has already announced their v2 ASIC.

Going all out in KNCMINER or any other is quite foolish ATM. Thinking KNCMINER will be the end all and be all of ASICs is also foolish. They haven't even shipped yet and the competition is already on to their v2...

Asic V2, you tell it which v1 chips purchased. But do not get more than 30 for the developers by address.

Out of respect for their clients should deliver all asic v1. One day after selling the v2, this would cause a lovely confidence,
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sapphire HD 7970 over 700kh/s - Windows 7 - CGMiner on: June 11, 2013, 05:23:45 PM
I can't seem to get my 7970 card to mine correctly.  I have two cards in the same box and one is hashing at 520mhs and the other is 575 mhs.

I tried the following settings:  --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --gpu-engine 1090 --gpu-memclock 1500 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale

Do I need to change the settings in Afterburner also?  Or will Cgminer just do it.  I have 8 Gb ram.  Also why does one card hash less than the other?

Thanks

I trust avalon a bit more as they have a product.
396  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Groupbuy] Jupiter KNCMiner (0.5 BTC shares) 12 sold! [CLOSED] !!! on: June 11, 2013, 05:06:51 PM
Sorry about that.  I didn't read your full details.  It wasn't in reference to your group buy that I was referring to though.  And I clearly referenced other group buys in the 1/42 numbers.

Well done on your sellout.  I trust that it will do well.  We're all in the same boat hoping for a delivery on time.

Since the group buy has all sold out here, please look at my group buy.  Better percentage and longer runtime.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=228700.0

Lets see..
35/40 vs 120/124 is a better % in your eyes? EDIT: it all depends on the power/hosting costs which are not 100% clear at this time..

According to KNC Miner's specifications One hash is guaranteed:
175/40 = 4.375 GHs
Here its 350 / 124 = 2,823GH per share..

I don't mind you posting here to sell your shares since we're sold out. I do mind you saying things that aren't true (EDIT: as far as we know now)..

Happy for you that u met your minimum though, it's good to see that so many group buys succeeded!

Cheers!

Do you have a preorder in already? What is the number approximately? thanks.

Yes the order has been placed via a pre-order ticket in the 1-500 range.  Final numbers on the preorder will be released in a few days according to KNCminer.
