Chelsea and Manchester City put on a really good show today. Chelsea obliterated Norwich by 7-0 even in the absence of their biggest strikers, Lukaku and Werner. Mount was the star of the match.  They secured their lead for this week also. They scored 23 goals and conceded only 3 and these are really impressive stats. And Manchester City destroyed Brighton by 4-1 away. Honestly, I wasn't assuming City to win by a big gap. Because Brighton are one of the teams on rise this season. I expected them to resist City really well. But City did their thing again and owned the match. Foden was really fascinating as he scored 2 goals and made 1 assist. They are still two points behind Chelsea. It looks like we are going to watch a delightful competition for the title this season.

I think that the biggest match of the week is absolutely Inter vs Juventus. Inter got a huge defeat against Lazio the last time by 3-1. Actually, they were the team that got ahead first but Lazio made a really great comeback against them. But Inter boosted their morale by defeating Sheriff in the Champions League by 3-1 home. And this might help them play much better against Juventus here too. When it comes to Juventus, they have a really huge streak lately. They won their last 4 Serie A matches and they haven't been losing for 8 matches in their official ones. They won 7 of them which is really perfect. They have a much better form than Inter so this match could be really interesting. Inter won their last home match in the Serie A against Juventus by 2-0. But this time, it looks like the match will be much more competitive and I think it is likely to end in a draw also.

We are only two days away from the El Clasico now. Maybe Barcelona have an advantage as they are going to play home. But when it comes to El Clasicos, it is not much important which side is the home team. Because we have witnessed so many times so far that away team won. And here, I think that Real Madrid are really likely to win also. Barcelona are still in a renaissance period and they might have big problems on defeating Real Madrid. And Real Madrid are playing much better than the last season. They are very effective in attacking thanks to Benzema especially. I suppose that Real Madrid can win this.

It was a really good day for Galatasaray yesterday as they defeated Lokomotiv Moscow by 1-0. It was a late goal but it could really be one of the best goals of the season in the Europa League I think. You can watch the goal from the link below:

And the other match of the group was Lazio - Marseille. It was a really competitive match also and it ended in a draw by 0-0. This helped Galatasaray a lot as they consolidated their lead in the group.

Dortmund are going to play one of their easiest games tomorrow against Bielefeld away. They defeated Mainz the last time and Haaland was also back in the game. And he scored two nice goals too. He is the most important part of this team I think. However, they got a very disappointing result against Ajax by 4-0 in the Champions League a few days ago. They really need to pull themselves together by getting a strong win here. And I believe they will make it.

Considering the matches of the next round ahead of us, I see that the Marseille - PSG match could be the most delightful one. PSG are still maintaining their superb form in the league. They won 9 of their 10 matches so far. They are 9 points away from their closest competitor. Marseille managed to win after a 3-week break in the league. However, Marseille can't beat PSG since their match on November 27, 2011. This proves that PSG are overwhelming them a lot. Even though Marseille don't win again, I think that they will make big difficulties for PSG. But at the end, PSG should be able to leave with one point at least.

Arsenal started having poor results again lately. After a nice win streak, firstly they got a draw against Brighton. And they performed really poorly. Crystal Palace was not a tough opponent for Arsenal as they were in a much worse condition than Arsenal. This was a big opportunity for Arsenal to continue from where they left. However, they weren't good enough. And Crystal Palace benefited from their chances really nicely. Arsenal barely saved one point thanks to Lacazette's last minute goal. Arsenal are definitely unhappy about this 2-2 draw. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal end this season at one of the middle positions in the table.

Arsenal are going to be hosting Crystal Palace in their next league match. They haven't had any loss for four weeks. They won three times and drew with Brighton last. This is a good sign for them as they are gathering themselves up. Crystal Palace are one of the easiest opponents for them. They won only once in their last five matches. Arsenal should be winning this match by a nice result.

Turkey's next opponent is Latvia and it is going to be an away match. I remember their first match against Latvia which ended by 3-3. Turkey didn't even defeat a very easy opponent like Latvia. And they have been doing really bad recently. They needed to win against Norway but they got a 1-1 draw instead. They have no choice other than winning their remaining matches. I won't bet on Turkey but I'm favoring them in this match.

The release clause is very cheap for a big striker like Erling Haaland. We could see him even at Newcastle in the next season.    But the hardest thing for a team that want him is to convince him to play for themselves. The teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid seem as one step ahead. Real Madrid are thinking of making an offer for him in January or the next summer seriously.

Taking the practice rounds and the qualifying session into account, it seems like Mercedes drivers will be flying in the Turkish GP tomorrow. Maybe Hamilton got a ten-place grid penalty but his performance was just fascinating for all of us. He broke the fastest lap record of this track many times and finished at the first place by a really decent gap. J. P. Montoya was holding the time record on this track before. Techically, he is still holding it as Hamilton didn't break this record in a race. But he might do so in the race too. I wonder if Verstappen will manage to win here this time while Hamilton is trying to go as up as possible.

When it comes to Haaland's next club, it might be Real Madrid. Because I have heard that Real Madrid are planning to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland both at the same time. As they won't be playing any transfer fee for Mbappe, they are going to be able to buy Haaland also financially. But it shouldn't be against the financial rules of the league too. If Real Madrid don't sign him, maybe we can see him in the English Premier League too.

Juventus still defeated Torino away without Dybala and Morata. But Dybala might play in the match against Roma. And it would be for the benefit of Juventus for sure. Because they don't have a natural centre-forward in the absence of both of these players. Dybala is actually a second striker but he can still contribute to the team a lot and have a role in a probable victory.

Monaco were the king indeed once. Maybe they are not the richest club in the Ligue 1 now but I would like to remind you that they still had a great season last year. They didn't have the best lineup and they still ended at the third place. You might say that there are not many big clubs in this league. It is true though. But I would like to remind you one thing also that Monaco had a very poor season before that too.

At the end of the qualifying session, Hamilton was at the first place by breaking another track record which is 1:22.868 . However, he won't be starting from the pole position as he has a 10-position grid penalty. He will be starting from the 11th position. Bottas and Verstappen fought for the pole and Bottas was the winner of it. But still, Verstappen has the potential to overtake him at the beginning of the race already. And I really appreciated Leclerc's effort that he will be starting from the 3rd position. It is going to be a great race I believe.

The opening match of the new week will be between Watford and Liverpool. Maybe Watford didn't start very good but they might make some difficulties for Liverpool in their home match. On the other hand, Liverpool are one of the best teams in this season so far. They are right behind the leader Chelsea by one point. This might be a chance to take the lead again from Chelsea. Liverpool drew with Manchester City by 2-2 the last time and they will be aiming to get a clear win here. And they should be able to do so.

The third place and the final matches are going to be played tomorrow. First, Italy are going to play against Belgium in Turin. This match might be quite difficult for each side but I see Belgium as one step ahead. Belgium played really great against France in the first half but were shocked by France's marvelous comeback. I don't expect them to do the same mistake against Italy. Italy were bad against Spain and they could struggle in this match also. I think Belgium will win.

And in the final match, France and Spain are both incredible teams. But France have a more exciting game as they are playing faster than Spain. However, playing fast isn't guaranteeing that the fast team will win. I expect a very competitive match and I believe in France to win the match.

I have checked the matches today and seen that Hungary - Albania could be the most attracting one among all. These teams both have done great so far in their group. Albania are at the second place with 12 points and Hungary follow them at the fourth place with 10 points. The first match in Albania's home stadium ended by Albania's victory by 1-0. Hungary are a really tough competitor for Albania and I don't expect Albania to win this time. Maybe we can see each team scoring this time but the result might be a draw.

Napoli are going to play a home match against Torino at the coming weekend. They are just dominating the league now very highly. They won all of their first seven matches. Except the Juventus match, they still haven't played against strong teams Inter, Milan and Roma. Torino are another easy opponent for Napoli here and I don't expect any surprising result in this one.

While the biggest teams are playing against each other, Milan are going to have a comfortable match against Verona home. Milan have an insane form lately and they should be able to win this easy home match also. But I'm quite sure that Verona will try their best. Even a surprise can happen and Verona can score first. And I would like to remind you all that Verona defeated Roma by 3-2 in their home match. But still, Milan should defeat them home easily.
