Well there goes the future of money.

1% adoption of bitcoin is 100% of what I expected in a good scenario. Most national currencies are used by less than 1% of the world. The idea of a whole world that uses bitcoin is a fantasy.

Ok.... .so where are we currently?  Let's say anyone that uses, used, holds or has held more than $100 in bitcoin (or crypto for that matter) in the last year would count as an "adopter"... are we at .2% or .5% or something approaching 1%, currently?
A different poster said we wereit's already at 1%. I'm not sure if I agree we are actually there yet. It might be off by say, just 1 order of magnitude.

I dont think it would be wise to spend 20% of your funds on car, or spend that much on a car ever. I'm buying a car that costs under half of a lambo but can still beat a lambo in a race.

Where is realroach? Did he died Roll Eyes

The price is pumping he will take a bit of time off....when the price dumps he will be right back....bet on it!
Where did you learn to use the verbs pumping and dumping like that? Prices don't pump and dump themselves. A second/third person/people has to pump and dump the price. Who is the subject?

I'm at level 0. In 5 years bitcoin neither succeeds nor fails because by then this slice of the universe imploded on itself. I'm taking bearishness to  whole new level.

If banning guns to save thousands lives in over publicized media events is so importnt to sacrifice our basic freedoms then I think we must also ban cars and improper medicine which is killing millions of people.

Its just temporarily testing that channel it broke out of in November and fell back into in January, before eventually falling below.

This already happened with a smaller channel above. There are several nested blowouts.

After the next crash, it'll spend 1-2 years testing the original slow channel from 2015-2016. At the next halvening it'll either breakout into the next bull market or fall below this channel to the final fail or least the longest bear market weve ever seen.

Actually calculating my taxes using trade records would take a months by a team of chinese math geniuses. Im just going to have to give an estimate.

Im not even sure. I just have to come in periodically to remind us that up doesnt mean $100K and down doesnt mean $100.
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Common misconceptions about day trading on: March 03, 2018, 01:03:52 AM
I have outperformed bitcoin by 10,000% by daytrading and these increases have been steady since 2013. Daytrading is not gambling. It is a simple system where you learn to buy high volume dips and crashes, and breakouts. I guess 'Daytrading is gambling' is like this nice catchy excuse for bad traders for them to blow off steam.
Holy fucking crap dude, congrats on your trading success, that is beyond impressive. Unless most other guys, I believe you.
I am assuming you use quite a bit of leverage?
I dont always use leverage and when i do its usually only 2x. 3x at the max. I actually havent had access to leveraged bitcoin trading recently -
only altcoins. Its a combination of leverage, altcoins, and selling forks at the right time, and getting in on crazy unusual movements. For instance I sold my bch at the peak of 0.5btc then rebought that crash to 0.2btc and sold at 0.38btc all within minutes. I probably overrepresent my "bitcoin" success because half of my net worth is from the last dogecoin rally.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: DID YOU THINk BITCOIN CAN REACH 500K IN THE END OF THIS YEAR on: March 03, 2018, 01:01:19 AM
I dont think itll reach 500k ever
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 03, 2018, 12:57:29 AM
its a trap its a trap its a trap 12K-14K then continue multi year bear market.
y tho?
Because it's next in the series of events I mapped out months ago including a drop below 6K followed by a bounce to 13k

I remember at 6K everyone was panic selling and calling 1K and I let you know that it was bouncing at least to 12K. Now that you have gotten this miraculous bounce and doubled your money with the perfect opportunity to sell, you demand ATH. You are too greedy.

399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese market has nothing to do with BTC price, am I right? on: March 02, 2018, 12:55:51 PM
China first started banning bitcoin in 2013.

By the end of 2016, all volume in Chinese exchanges was gone.

Sometime in 2017 all Chinese exchanges ceased operations, as btc rallied to the moon.

That we still hear about Chinese FUD today is laughable.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH on: March 02, 2018, 10:44:50 AM
No this that bull trap where you use your best and last chance to sell to instead buy in and immediately lose 50% permanently or at least for a few years. It might go to 13k or so.
