Yup, again I watched an highlight where West Indies players all around the game and they are looking to hit six for every balls from the very first balls which is the actual cricket?

And the radius of cricket ground also should be reduced and probably they are trying to bring the international cricket into gully cricket. Grin

It is not just the West Indian players. A total of 60 balls are available to the 11 players, which works out to 5-6 balls per player. What are they supposed to do, other than hitting sixes? As the duration of the game reduces, the importance of the bowlers also goes down. In T10, the bowlers have hardly any contribution in the matches. It is completely dominated by the batsmen. IMO, we should not reduce the limit to less than 20 overs. For me, 20 overs is the limit and if you reduce it any further it is simply not cricket. For me, T10 resembles like baseball.
I am saying that mostly WI players featured in all the Franchise but why they got name resembles to IPL teams, No Indian players allowed to play on any other league then it is allowed to use the Indian team names for Foreign leagues. Roll Eyes
382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange transaction selling price vs. actual one/actual balance on: February 03, 2021, 11:05:50 AM
hi,
I noticed something weird with the values I see for my trades in Binance.
Example: if I buy DOGE worth of $100 and I sell it for $110, my transaction is recorded like this (selling total $110) but when I check my balance for buying again I see it like $109.
I would expect either the transaction selling records to mention $109 instead of $110 or my balance to be $110 instead of $109.

Any clue? Did you observe this too?

thanks

PS: above data is example, is not matching any of my actual trades
Buying and selling against which pair also should be mentioned? If it is USDT then we can consider USDT value as $1 but its not completely stable all the time so there will be small depreciation in the total balance in terms of fiat value but the Doge you bought going to remain the same.

Another factor is the maker and taker fee which varies from exchange to exchange so you need to reduce this fee from your profit or actual value because this will goes into the hands of exchange.

Cricket can't be compared with Soccer or Olympic games because where players compete with each other in equal amounts whereas in cricket only 2 batsmen can be in the middle while 11 opponents stop their runs. 3.5 hours is not even enough to get the real cricket to feel because more longer you play the pitch will get better or worsen which is unlikely to change in a 10 over the game.

In that case, why can't we restrict the 10 over format to just 6 players? 11 players for 10 overs doesn't make any sense. It means that most of the players will never get a chance to showcase their skills. The number of players need to be reduced and that will make sure that everyone gets their chance.

Youtube suggested me a highlight by Nicholas pooran until I didn't know about T10 league actually exists, good attempt and building their own kind of shorter form of league but I don't think this is going to be in International matches because even T20 itself the shortest and further reducing the match can't give actual essence of cricketing experience so with this kind of leagues we are actually killing the future of cricket.

The logic being given is that an average T20 match last for 3 to 3.5 hours, which is almost double the duration of a football or hockey match. They want to reduce the duration, in order to make it comparable with the other sports. T10 match takes around 1.5-2.0 hours at the most, which is similar to the duration for other sports. The organizers say that this variety is most suited for multi-sports events such as Olympics and Asian Games. But I have watched a few matches and I didn't liked the format. It is just mad hitting and nothing else. For me 10 over format is too short.

Anyone following the Abu Dhabi T10 League? By now it has established a brand name for itself, and some of the big names in international cricket are participating. A few big names include Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Fletcher, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Dawid Malan, Hardus Viljoen, Wahab Riaz, Brandon King, Paul Stirling and Kieron Pollard. I watched some of the matches, and they were exciting. But the only thing I didn't liked was the tournament format and the name of the teams. They could have named teams after the emirates in the UAE. On the other hand, they named teams like Delhi Bulls and Pune Devils, without any player from Delhi and Pune respectively.

386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best & worst time to trade Ethereum? on: February 02, 2021, 02:32:00 PM
No need to complicate things. Just use https://etherscan.io/gastracker to know whether the gas fee required is high or not so decide whether you want to broadcast your transaction with such amount. The average value might be lesser at that time period you mentioned but still it is going to keep changing according to the volatility of the price.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: A user's turns his $130 into $1,30,000 in just 3 days (NFT) on: February 02, 2021, 11:30:26 AM
You can't say 100000% returns in just 4 days as potential asset to invest because it is misleading. How much the value of that NFT in the next 3 days still they managed to gain another 1000x times? This is just a mere coincidence or the product just got hyped by himself because the seller and buyer can be the same person just to bump the prices of his remaining holdings.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: February 02, 2021, 08:41:56 AM
This is very bad news for all. India lawmaker started their work to banned bitcoin and all cryptocurrency in India. Now i seen many indian started to sell sell their tokens. Ib advise don't be panic to sell BTC. Wait for Officially announcement. There are Great chance that bill will be rejected
The market looks extremely liquidated on Indian exchanges but there is no sign of this bill on their budgets session, probably they will be announcing this later?

But immediately after the session ends there is a huge high on the BTC prices on Indian exchanges!
389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is anyone else not able to reach coinbase tech suppport? on: February 02, 2021, 06:36:06 AM
I have been emailing them for months now and the only thing I get back are automated messages. They do have an 800 number but all that does is lock your account incase you suspect fraud, no real person to talk to.

My google 2 factor is stuck on my old phone and I have a bunch of coins missing that got lost in a transfer. W T F ?!?!?!?!?!
You are worrying for 2 months for not getting any reply but I am here with more than one year if I remember it correctly. At that time the amount stuck was in few hundreds but now it went to few thousands still can't able to get any solution from the coinbase.

And it seems you are not in need of Coinbase support for this issue because it is possible to get back the same authorization with the recovery code.
390  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mail for trading in exchanges ...? on: January 31, 2021, 04:44:14 PM
Is gmail is safe and good for the Exchanges signUp/SignIn or any other secure email like tutanota or protonmail or something else.

One of my friend using Gmail and it got hacked..🥺

Any suggestions for the gmail security or something else.

Is Mobile SMS 2FA is better or 2FA Authentication is better...😊🙂

It will help if you answered....🙂🙏🙏
Every mail service provider gives the same amount of security to your account the only difference between privacy, not the security.Your emails can be hacked in lot of ways but the most common way is to get phished so don't use your mail for useless signups like for surveys, free subscription or any apps that require email to use because they will collect your data and can sell it to anyone which will be later used by the hacker via mass mailing.

2FA with the authentication apps are better than OTP codes via SMS because most apps n your device will have the access to your calls and messages, another way is swim swapping.

LOL.. Natarajan is not taking any rest. The last time I heard, he was busy visiting all the temples in Tamil Nadu and doing strange rituals. He just posted this:

https://twitter.com/Natarajan_91/status/1355760220375420930

I am from Singapore and around 6%-7% of the population is made up of Tamils. But never noticed anyone shaving their head. So what is the reason? Is it mandatory to shave your head after something big happens in your life?

Not only Tamil, but most of the Indians also have such a habit.

Did you remember what happened that night when India lifted the world cup after 28 years in 2011? MSD did the same as well.

392  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it possible to create multiple accounts at binance ? on: January 31, 2021, 02:02:05 PM
I have multiple accounts in Binance, I don't face any problem so far, however, only one account is complied with the KYC, the other is non KYC account.

You just can't verify your both accounts with same documentations and if you want to do so then use the passport for one and driving license for others. This will work.
Nope, it will not work because aooner or later the system will identify both IDs are from same user so your both account may get into trouble. You can use non verified account on different devices which connects to different network.

Anything connected to the internet is at the risk of getting hacked what if these hackers decided to hack everything from a smart home, or a smart car remotely. The development of such technology is going to make more bad to the humanity?

Also heard that Indian government considering putting tax regulations for crypto trading weeks back because they know it is not possible to ban cryptos so why not make some revenue from it?

Exactly! It doesn't make any sense to ban cryptocurrencies. The government's view is that cryptocurrencies are being used in illicit activities and money laundering due to its anonymous nature. But the fact is, just by writing something in law book, you still won't be able to stop such activities. People can still use cryptocurrencies for illicit activities and get away with that.

Banning will only result in stoppage of legal activities like trading on KYC-exchange, using cryptocurrencies to pay/receive payments for the legal foreign contracts, using cryptocurrencies as the mean of payment in legal business, etc. This would rather result in lost-revenue for government as all these activities are good source of income for government in the form of tax.

The on-going discussion in Indian section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313220
With the Bitcoin price got bumped up these news websites are taking the advantage of it by claiming something which isn't proved yet, good strategy to bring traffic to the their website. RBI simply want to ban cryptocurrency because they know it can endanger their money printing ability so people will move to decentralized payment system that is why they want to supress it at the budding stage itself.

And also current ruling government didn't made good decisions which helps then to build the economy for example demonetization which put the end of many small business to end their career and the story keep continues...

The Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021, which is scheduled to be tabled at the upcoming Union Budget session, aims “to create a facilitative framework for the creation of the official digital currency” and “prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India”.

Is this same old bill proposed in the past right?

I have no doubt about South Africa Woman as they will win the match easily.
How to watch these matches, i have seen the betting option but as long as i am not able to watch the match i am not too confident in placing a bet, either way you made some good picks and it would be great if you could put your picks early so that i will follow that up and make a decision on placing a bet.
I don't think any of the sports channel is providing with live stream. The only choice is to watch the scores and commentary on the cricket match information providing sites like crickbuzz, Cricinfo.
Hotstar is only available in three countries which are US, Canada and India.

Source: How to Watch Hotstar Outside India

But it is easy to unblock Hotstar for most of the countries which you can used to watch the highlights but to catch live stream the premium subscription needed which can't be used where it is not officially available.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been to a place where people gamble on Car Race on: January 30, 2021, 12:36:29 PM
Watched only in the movies so yet to experience in real life but I heard that betting on illegal racings is quite common all over the world and sometimes people will drive the cars or any kind of vehicles who are not a professional in it that is why it is not a safe place to be there.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 29, 2021, 04:44:27 PM
If we can hit 1 billion dollars, we can get anything we want and have a better life. But as we know that gambling will always need luck, we can't expect when we can get lucky, but many people still trying to play more rounds because they want to test their luck. The lottery can tempt people to buy the tickets because of the cheap tickets, and they don't think that will be a problem for them. But the fact, if we can calculate how much money we use to buy the tickets, perhaps, we can amaze and shock to see that we use big money to just buying the tickets.

I am someone who play lottery games very occasionally (once in 3-4 months). Here the attraction is that you can become a billionaire, by spending just $5 or $10 for a lottery ticket. Obviously, the chances may be very low, such as one in 20 million or so. But people always think that they can be that one winner among the millions. This strategy is good as long as you are playing occasionally. But if you are spending half of your savings on lottery purchases, then I am afraid that it is going to end up very badly for you.
There are people who buy lottery tickets with all their salary even forget to take the money for food and survival, which shows that lottery can make some get severely addicted over time so people would be cautious. Most of the people never had any chance to win such kind of rewards throughout their life time so if we are lucky it will come to us and no need to work hard for it.

The tax cut was huge, to be honest but it's better to take all the money at once rather than waiting for 29 years because it is possible to convert 500+ million into 1 Billion in few years when we become an investor.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies to save off Bitcoin fees? on: January 29, 2021, 02:00:21 PM
There is no strategy involved in it because the transaction fee costs as per the weight of your transaction so if you really want  to decrease the transaction then it should be having
1 input ==> 1 output

How to reduce the actual weight is by combining all your small inputs into a larger big input at the time when the bitcoin network is free. Normally in weekends you can find lesser transactions on mempool so it is the right time to do it.

Bookmark this site mempool.space and keep watching for less transaction fee from time to time.

Another trick to save fees a bit more by using a native segwit wallet "bc1....", I can see it saved 36% transaction fee when watching the Txid on blockchain explorers.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: $200 dollars reward for helping me fix my issue on: January 29, 2021, 11:23:54 AM
and put like 5 dollars in bitcoin cash. Then download coinbase app and transfer it to the coinbase app to bitcoin. Not bitcoin cash.

Am I the only one who noticed it? 5 dollars in BCH or 5 BCH?

BTW don't expect my assistance for the coinbase support team because I am having issues with my vault for year(s) now and they did't help me in any way.

I didn't know that it is possible to generate recovery seeds for a coinbase wallet, hope he can fix it by himself or just forget that 5BCH!
