What miner are you all using? I've been using xmr-stak because it works on AMD or NVidia and I have both types of cards (not in the same rig). It seems to deliver very good hashrates and I noticed no issues with it on either of my two Windows 10 machines, one with a single RX 570 and the other with a single GTX 1050 Ti. I just got it set up on my old Windows 7 machine which has (2) GTX 1060 installed and the hashrate of 968/s is excellent (for Nvidia, anyway - Cryptonote isn't its strongest algo) but the GUI is damn near unusable due to extreme lag. The mouse pointer isn't lagging, it's when I click on something that the lag kicks in. It's not a big deal since I don't actually run anything on the Win7 machine except a miner and various wallets, but severe lag like this is usually accompanied by instability/crashes. CPU load reported by task manager is around 70% and GPU load for both cards reported by GPU-Z is 99-100%.
I'm using xmr-stak as well. I did see the lagging at one point, and that was my video card overheating. Check the temps on your system. Once I fixed the temp issue things have been running great with no lag. Great to see all running smooth. BTW we are working on refining pool code to make miners more comfortable. We would like to solve issue of every DERO users with our best abilities, pls get in touch for any issues. thank you. |

Few days ago I wanted t transfer about 400 dero. Transfer required 73 transactions and about 5 dero transaction fee. What should be done to avoid it?

This pool is weird ... been on it 2hrs already ... doesn't even show a pending balance.... wtf.... loads of blocks found...

Check your payment history in site, some whales keep jumping out of pools and coins, the hash of the net goes up from 500K to 1.10Mhs several times a day and the diff fires see in the pool blocks how lucky gets negative when they enter.
I'm mining whit 15Kh and receiving arround 280~300 dero day.
Again NW rate touching 1.2Mhs. |

Let us see what could be done more to solve this. Updated the pool diff, try now. Okay, I restarted the miner about 15 minutes ago and difficulty once again climbed up to 100001; I restarted it just now - difficulty started at 2000 on port 3333 - so we'll see (lol - already up to 16000 as I type this). We are continuously monitoring the DERO NW and pool but we didn't find any ping loss in last 2 days. if CPU overload is the case we will start logging our CPU 24 hrs and check for anomaly.
I can assure you it wasn't my internet connection because I have 3 separate computers mining right now and yours was the only one that kicked off. I wish I had taken a screen shot of what xmr-stak reported as the problem, but I have retries set to a 30 second interval with 3 max and it basically gave up. I've since changed it to 5 retries with 60s between them. Hi dev(s). I dont know what you fixed, but problem with vardiff is still there (diff still instantly grows, sometimes it downs to acceptable level, but most part of time it is on very high level where my machine doesnt provide any shares). I understand that you have a lot of complex works and problems but i think its problem too (since it occurs in many people). Pls, check info at https://krb.miner.rocks/#getting_started (when i mine KRB there all is ok) and maybe it will be helpful in your DERO pool. Maybe you need make vardiff depending on miner hashrate and not on miner shares. Sorry if im not right. Thx. Can you come over slack when you are free, so that we have discussion for this issue. |

OK, mining with 23khz since 10/12/2017 (~30 days) mining calc show 500-600 DEROs/day TOTAL PAID: 4230 DEROs Where is my DEROs ?? Blockchain location in windows is c:\ProgramData\dero, if still throuble to sync close derod and wallet_cli, delete dero folder from ProgramData (make sure to backup your wallet for security reasons) and start derod to resync blockchain after complete start wallet_cli.
Thanks, I never would have thought to look there. Since I have several computers I decided the safest course of action was to simply run derod from a different computer and it now shows the correct blockchain height - 14600 or so - whereas before it reported a height of 13573, and then proceeded to give me endless warnings about reorganization. So it appears the downloaded blockchain was fatally corrupted as a result of the pool sync issue a few days ago, but both the wallet client and blockchain daemon are too stupid to realize that. My daemon also stuck on block 13xxx, 900+ block behind... but it won't sync..., Now I try to delete the dero folder... let's see what happen DERO blockchain data not syncing. Restart derod daemon and use status command to check status of daemon.If still not syncing delete chaindata and restart daemon. Else download chain data from following link : http://seeds2.dero.io:4545/data.mdb Replace data.mdb in .dero/lmdb/ folder Or corresponding folder in windows. |

This slowness can be a problem in the very near future.
Working on that. Trying to decrease exchange deposit time. Received update form exchange they will reduce deposit time and also working on withdrawal issues. |

Looks like I stumbled upon the solution here. Running daemon and client on a new computer fixed all the blockchain issues and the expected balances showed up in both wallets. I just did a sweep_all with a ring size of 5 from the first wallet to the second one so it will be interesting to see if I have the same experience as CSouza with transactions taking a long time to clear.
EDIT - less than 5 minutes later the transactions showed up in the second wallet; now waiting for them to be unlocked. Looks good so far, though.
Good to see all working fine. Also you can run single DERO daemon and let other wallets/computers sync with single daemon. Pls use following derod command to run DERO daemon. ./derod --rpc-bind-ip 0.0.0.0 --rpc-bind-port 51234 --confirm-external-bind Then connect your dero-wallet to above daemon-IP ./dero-wallet-cli --daemon-address daemon-IP:51234Also you can play with other options like login-password/restrictions etc. |

Thanks, maybe, because the balance hasn't changed on the wallet side for either address despite leaving the wallet and daemon running continuously. It seems like the daemon gives up communicating with the network after some period of time because saving the bc then restarting it shows it being just as far behind as when it was last started (at the block height where everything got of sync a few days ago, I believe; unsure because that happened while I was asleep). Furthermore, it appears the blockchain file is not being stored, either locally or in the usual location, a directory under \users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ Pls use refresh, status, rescan_bc, balance command to make your wallet fully sync. Also look for hidden directory for chain data in user home location. |

I must be a glutton for punishment because I resumed mining on the official pool with my existing wallet address a few hours ago, but after not seeing the pending balance change around 1.5 hours in I decided to generate a new wallet address and start mining to it. Another 1.5+ hours have passed without any change to the pending balance for the new address and yes, many blocks were found in both cases. Anyone else mining to pool.dero.live and seeing their balance actually change?

Official DERO pool http://pool.dero.live/ updated to multiple high end hardware with load balancer. Ping time got reduced lot. We planned so there was no downtime for miners. Payments will be enable after few hrs. It will greatly increase your mining experience. |
