381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the Bitcoin Market Crashing? on: March 09, 2018, 09:09:25 PM
It's already getting back

Why has someone turn the USDT machine back on again to pump fake money back into Bitcoin again ?

I have decided to peg the price of my nose picking too the $USD and the supply is limited but do note that
we don't offer any refunds
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: March 09, 2018, 09:02:56 PM
During Tulip Mania they had dips until one day they didn't and I sold on the dip when Bitcoin was last at $18,000
because it was obvious that the miners where holding a knife to our throats at the doors of the casino by charging
a $55 fee and calling it a donation.

No one trusts the development team and some of us know that the lightning network is nothing more than a system
of banking hubs but if you want off-chain block-chain then keep hanging around and ignoring the obvious news.

383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While you are panicking.... on: March 09, 2018, 08:51:33 PM
1k this time last year to put things in perspective (never forget big picture).

never forget that tulips reached $200,000 in today's money or that Bitcoin has competition that are not rushing to
go off-block so I guess that the big picture is that the writing is on the wall and fees here went up a lot more than
2000% or that this peek won't be forgotten any time soon.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While you are panicking.... on: March 09, 2018, 08:45:51 PM
Keep buying the dips until there are no more weak hands.

You was saying that when BTC was last at $18,000 and I got lots of abuse when I told people to put
a stop loss in place at $10,000 and next you will be telling me that the network map of the lightning
network is Bob and Alice sending money P2P and not a system of banks taking over the network.
https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/

By the way I more or less sold out at $18,000 because it was obvious that no one was going to pay
$55 to rip-off miners just for moving a few digits which kind of makes me the expert here  Cheesy
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Try At Analyzing BTC - Bear Market on: March 09, 2018, 08:34:40 PM
Fees killed Bitcoin, word got out about the miners holding a knife to our throats plus people are
waking up to the lightning network being a system of banking hubs.

Dot-Con crash part II and it might even turn out to be a case of tulip mania for all we know but
we do know that bankers rule the roost here
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges are dropping BTC price on purpose on: March 09, 2018, 08:23:14 PM
Iam not sure its the exchanges but i am certain that someone with a huge quantity of bitcoins is selling them and that is why the prices are currently dropping because i don't see any FUD happening anywhere yet the value is still going down.

People don't trust Bitcoin after the fees hit $55 per transaction and many people can understand that the lightning network is
a system of small banking hubs so they are cashing out or running away because many of the old names moved to Bitcoin to get away
from bankers and if block-chain brought you here then the off-block lightning network should send you packing too.

Lets face it, we have been sold out
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While you are panicking.... on: March 09, 2018, 08:17:15 PM
No panic from me and I can see it going down and didn't feel the need to "Buy on the dip" like experts
here were saying then BTC dropped back to $18,000 and I suspect that mega high fees and the
bankers taking over the lightning network has killed the goose that laid the egg.

Bankers pump and dump, they own this place already
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments use blockchain in international agreements on: March 09, 2018, 07:59:28 PM
"How do you think, when governments of countries are going to start using blockchain technologies in international agreements"

Singed bits of paper was invented years ago, get over yourself making out that Bitcoin is going to feed the world and if you want to
credit someone for signing documents or files then maybe you want to say thanks to the Bit-Torrent development team.

New spin on an old concept it is, nothing more.

389  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: When Will The Lightning Network Technology Be Ready? on: March 09, 2018, 07:51:12 PM
no guarantee when that's gonna happen.

But Mr "European Central Bank" you must be in a position to know better then most of us when the international lightning banker
network will be ready for fee paying customers and I notice that many of the inter-branch channels are already up and running.
from the network map here https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/

You don't know where I can download a copy of the terms and conditions these banks are offering do you or has the phrase T&C been
replaced by "Smart contracts" and I will need to pick through the code to pick out the fees.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the Bitcoin Market Crashing? on: March 09, 2018, 07:39:24 PM
Will it bounce back is a better question but my guess is the word got out about the crazy transactions costs
from the miners hitting $55 and people also know that the lightning network is little more than a system of
banker hubs and are not buying the Bob sends Alice some money story.

Sorry people, we have been taken over and they can blame China or Korea as much as they want but
these are the real reasons for the price.
391  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: When Will The Lightning Network Technology Be Ready? on: March 09, 2018, 12:32:16 PM
yes, beta, and lot's of warnings, but already live: https://lnmainnet.gaben.win
One can see 5 or 6 larger hubs, where many nodes want to talk with, and if you move them to the side, you can see clearly, that there is a highly meshed net, without a single sign of centralization.

I like your sense of humor  Cheesy

You can bet if we did a l@@K-up on the IP-Addresses then not a single one of them will be known miners right  Shocked
392  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / is this encryption any good (nullius is welcome) on: March 09, 2018, 12:17:14 PM
Unfortunately I am being forced to re-invent the wheel because high usage of AES encryption on
a windows machine falls over, leaks memory and programs go bang and I needed something that
does not use Microsoft little black box software that is fast and can encrypt 2mb chunks of data blocks.

RSA encryption from Microsoft cannot be trusted.
Code:
RSACryptoServiceProvider rsa = new RSACryptoServiceProvider(512);  // Key bits length
rsa.PersistKeyInCsp = false;
The second line of code is needed because it use to default to true and resulted in the keys being
stored in windows certificate store and put quite simply Microsoft now steels anything it can lay it's hands on
and goes as far as to run web-dav at night to scan remote disk drives on your LAN.

Here is the function and it works by shifting byte code to the right based on the key with a bit of salt thrown
in for good measure and works with a variable length key that can be HEX or even XYZ
Code:
private static ushort[] MakeShiftKeys(string Key)
       {//Conver HEX keys to array of numbers but will also work for other letters too
           ushort[] Shifts = new ushort[Key.Length];
           for (int f = 0; f <= Key.Length - 1; f++)
               if (Key[f] >= '0' && Key[f] <= '9') Shifts[f] = ushort.Parse(Key[f].ToString()); else Shifts[f] = (ushort)(Key[f] - 55);
           return Shifts;
       }

public static byte[] EncryptFast(byte[] Text, string Key)
       {//About 10 seconds per gigabyte on I7 PC using 1mb blocks
           ushort[] ShiftKeys = MakeShiftKeys(Key.ToUpper());
           ushort Count = 0; ushort Shift = 0;
           ushort R = (ushort)(Text.Length % 8);
           if (R == 0) R = (ushort)(Text.Length % 3);
           bool Even = R == 5;
           for (uint f = 0; f <= Text.Length - 1; f++)
           {
               if (Count != R) Shift = ShiftKeys[Count];
               else if (Even) Shift = 77;
               else Shift = 66;
               if ((byte)Text[f] + Shift + R <= 255) Text[f] = (byte)(Text[f] + Shift + R);
               else Text[f] = (byte)((Text[f] + Shift + R)-256);
               Even = !Even; Count++;
               if (Count > Key.Length - 1) Count = 0;
           }
           return Text;
       }

During tests this code was found to be 40% slower than using Microsoft AES function and this is because
using C# and byte arrays you have to cast the byte to an INT32 to preform sums so maybe I can fix it using
UN-SAFE section of code if I can remember enough C++.

Previously I have played around with BigINT and MOD but this was not fast enough for big blocks of data
and I know the above is not military grade encryption but how would you rate it and what can be done to
make it better without taking too much of a performance hit.

I was thinking of compressing the data using Microsoft's GZip before using this encryption function which can be done
by using just four lines of code.

Quote
MemoryStream MS=new MemoryStream();
using (GZipStream gz = new GZipStream(MS, CompressionMode.Compress, false))
               gz.Write(Data, 0, Data.Length);
return MS.ToArray();

But given the amount of network activity that I see coming out from my machine from millions of Dll's
running inside surrogate processes that we have no control over anymore I think I would roll my own compression
if I could do it in under a months work.

393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency of development on: March 08, 2018, 01:25:38 PM
Your starting at the wrong base with the "For the people" thinking and should be dealing with censorship and spying
by big brother much like Tor promised to be but it seems to have been taken over now.

Lets talk public encrypted messages a bit like WhatsApp, File distribution.sharing, VPN type servers and relays using
open source code for a decentralized system before trying to profit from yet another alt-coin because that's way down on
the list of things we need to be doing now.

The block-chain, crypto bandwagon is full to the brim, we don't need any more and should hold back and see which of the
new coins scales because this is the main problem with coins right now.
394  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Exploring double spends, a thought experiment on: March 07, 2018, 08:15:19 PM
hyper inflation would be any process which allowed network participants to profit from the deviation between the standard coin issuance rate and the actual rate due to hyper inflation. So, the devaluation of the currency would be exactly balanced by this other unknown process.

We get inflation anyway from the forks and the money supply in circulations get doubled each time so really it's a mute point.

Watch this about USDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwKYbT9MoPE because this guys views are respected and he's saying
the fake "Out of the air" USDT pegged to the price of USD is being used to inflate the price of Bitcoins and apparently we have
BTC 200,000 coins missing too so nothing is as solid as it seems.

395  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Concerns regarding SegWit + Lightning Network? on: March 07, 2018, 07:59:51 PM
So you are claiming bitcoin is ruled by corporations?  If that were true then wow we should let everyone know!

Well yes and I agree with him and I offer this link as proof https://blockchain.info/pools that shows eight big pools control 90% of the
network and if this so called competition between miners was true then fees would have not reached $55 per transaction because
a few miners would have had the brains not to try to hold a knife to users throats whilst asking for donations to cover the transaction costs
and as a result this crashed the price from $19k to about $10k and now we are trading sideways.

This situation is only going to get worse since the miners are going to be also running the lightning network banking hubs
I feel so yes I am letting everyone know and I even contacted the LN project manager but he was unavailable for comment and
won't even reply to emails.

ETH had a similar problem that was a result of Crypto-Kitties but the miners had a meeting and decided to remain responsible
and didn't pump fees up so no it's not a democracy and given that bankers pump and dump who's says what pockets they own.
396  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning - Question to understand atomic transactions over the network on: March 07, 2018, 07:28:09 PM
2) Sender is encrypting the selected route node by node (onion routing)

You could be right but how does the sender know what channels are open between each of the banking nodes
to be in a position to plan the route ?

The number of hops needed seems to be about six but the network is not fluid, more like snooker balls
bumping into each other with your money remaining inside the first ledger and this is the reason you end
up having to borrow money in effect to send payments across the network.

Bob and Alice models are never going to work here because the number of hops required would be
measured in hundreds and the Alice's of this world don't have $1m to finance hundreds of channels.

DO Please correct me if I am wrong here because that is my understanding.

Here is the current map if that helps you https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Proof of Labour? on: March 07, 2018, 07:12:06 PM
Ethereum is a scam since it was released as a heavily pre-mined ICO with some PoW.. and then they will go PoS. It's a mess of a project, a total joke, yet it got real far because it's useful thanks to the ERC20 tokens for other projects to be released, it's like a platform, but as a store of value or anything like that it's just a disaster. I don't see any other use case for Ethereum than launching other tokens throught it. The rest of smart contract applications are useless.

Yes the network and the coins need separating but I like ETH because it offers "Bean Counting" services and charges gas for the privileged
but did you like how Bitcoin pinched the term "Smart Contract" and please give me a link to where I can see them or upload my own if you
know of any.

NEO I think is going to be one to watch but really I am looking for a platform that allows real apps to be deployed in a way
that they cannot be taken down so long as they make "Gas" payments to the host providers to run site much like hidden Tor
.onion works but the sites/services will stay up without having to keep your Tor node open.

398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Linguistic analysis of Satoshi's numerous posts ?? on: March 07, 2018, 06:25:32 PM
Satoshi's did a Bernard MadOff years ago but recently he was wanted in connection with $5bn
going missing but we all know around here that he is Jesus and won't hear a word said against
him but they will be more than happy to blame mr invisible if prices crash back down to cents again.

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/bitcoin-latest-craig-wright-sued-cryptocurrency-dave-kleiman-lawsuit-inventor-satoshi-nakamoto-claim-a8230976.html

Quote
A man claiming to be bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity remains one of tech culture's great unknowns, has been accused of stealing $5bn (£3.59bn) of the cyptocurrency from his late business partner.

Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright, 47, is accused of using bogus contracts and false signatures to lay claim to bitcoins mined by Dave Kleiman, a computer security expert, according to a lawsuit filed by the latter's brother.

Kleiman died in 2013 and his family argues they still own the rights to the bitcoins and blockchain technology he held, according to Bloomberg.

"Craig forged a series of contracts that purported to transfer Dave’s assets to Craig and/or companies controlled by him,’’ the Kleiman family's lawyer said in a complaint filed in West Palm Beach, Florida, on 14 February.

Satoshi is not to be blamed for the Lightning Network, Bankers are behind that move but you can call them whales if you like.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i participate in bounties? I am still a newbie in bitcointalk. on: March 07, 2018, 06:12:55 PM
First you need to rank up into jr member to join bounty campaign there's a lot of campaign in bounty but you must learn the basic i suggest you to go to beginners and help to read a lot about crypto currency..  that forum will help you to knowledge everything about bitcointalk. as a newbie..

Yes lots to learn and you must not let the punter know that these Lightning Network hubs that charge both transactions fees and interest charges are
banks because that's a deal killer, just call them hubs and try to take the cash.

Convince the public that we are running out of numbers too and now is a good time to buy and please cover up that we now have
30,000 ICO's and to just run towards the coin machine that got the flashing lights and don't mention the pump-en-dump schemes that operate from
this site have anything to do with the flashing lights.

Yes the slot machine players have taken over and bankers have taken over the network
which you knew anyway when fees hit $55 per transaction but anyone who's still under the
false impression that "All is well" are advised to read the lightning white paper
https://lightning.network/lightning-network-paper.pdf which is a bit of a smog screen, just search for the
term "Fees" and "Savings Account"

Here is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYHFrf5ci_g and here is a map of the current network
as inter-branch connections are being setup and tested https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/

You can contact Mr P Noon who's the project leader on Lightning Network with any concerns but he's not answering
any emails just now, I know because I tried that route already.
