383  Bitcoin / Mining support / Monitor gpu farm with one monitor ? on: February 15, 2014, 02:19:53 PM
I am on my way putting up a smaller gpu farm together. I am rebuilding my rigs and adding some more. There will be a total of ten rigs with four gpus each, ready for adding some more gpus later on. Is there any software to conrol/monitor each system with only one screen, keypad and mouse ? Until now i have switched monitor cable and mouse on my five rigs when needed. I am probably going to use windows 7 as long as possible.

Anyone know how it could be done ?
384  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous reloadable USD VISA cards with own bank account on: December 31, 2013, 09:57:39 AM
I have 3 questions, please answer when you're back, or anyone else feel free to answer:

1. Other than SEPA and international bank transfers, how else can we reload these cards?
2. Is there a way we can use the bank account associated with this to send EUR to crypto exchanges?
3. What exchanges have these cards been tested with?

I can give you one answer on question 3. It works great doing SEPA transfers from BTC-E to theese cards, i have transfered EUR from there several times.

I need them FAST, i am leaving the country for holiday in the beginning of January and need to get one more rig up before that.

I need at least five of each model, but i will consider every offer.

Please give me some offers including express shipping to Sweden.

Thanks !

This is a really big market for scammers but i am convinced that Dabs is the real thing.
1btc is coming to your adress later today !

I dare everyone to do the same ! 1btc is probably nothing for many people in other parts of the world.

Keep this project running ! I would love to see some pics later on.

I have a question because i dont get it to work.

I just setup some USB Erupters for mining PPC instead of PPC.

This is the command line i use right now:
cgminer -o http://stratum.d7.lt:3333 -u user -p pass

Everything runs ok but my GPU also starts to mine. What do i add to disable my GPU from mining ?

Try cgminer-nogpu instead of cgminer

Thanks, that solved it.

Now i feel like a retard to Smiley

It would be much appreciated !
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any profit left in Altcoin ? Setting up GPU rig. on: October 20, 2013, 04:51:49 PM
Alright. Right now there is no big profit in mining LTC, i see that. But i am 100% sure the price will explode when more and more people get their eyes open for this type of currency. Just like what happend to BTC a couple of days ago. This is the future and loads of people will join this train in the next year.

Most people are SICK of the banks, including me.

With services you mean places to pay for stuff with LTC right ? Webshops and so on ?
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any profit left in Altcoin ? Setting up GPU rig. on: October 20, 2013, 02:42:49 PM
http://ltc.kattare.com/calc.php

If you mine LTC at 2.6 MH/s and 850W (I don't know the exact figures, but they should be in this range) and at 1000 difficulty, you'll earn $140 a month. If you go to multipool.us, you should get a bit better (set auto cashout, auto sell), but probably not by much.

The payback time for this should be less than 1 year, unless the scrypt FPGA boards come out quickly, in which case you should sell.
If i had it right it should be around 72usd profit monthly at this difficulty.

Well it could have been better but at the same time i have a wet dream of the Chinese people adapt LTC to their Exchanges faster than Gox and make the price on LTC explode. But as i said that is just my dream scenario. It feels like there is not that much to loose giving it a shot anyway ? I wont loose that much on selling the gpus later o either.

I already have a Asic rig mining BTC at home and i wont buy more Asic stuff regarding to the rocketing difficulty level. I had an KNC order on four KNC jupiters but choosed to refund it. Now i am investing the money in 50/50 BTC/LTC. So starting a LTC rig up feels right at the moment.

Am i the only one having hopes on LTC in the future ? Smiley
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any profit left in Altcoin ? Setting up GPU rig. on: October 20, 2013, 02:21:48 PM
I am thinking about setting up a GPU rig for mining FTC or LTC. All cryptos went to hell when China put BTC to the skies but now it seems like everything have stabilized a bit.
I have Mobo, cpus, ram and psu laying around already, all i need is gpu:s. I have an offer on 4x HD 7950 3Gb for around 930usd. I can probably sell them off for about the same price later on if i close the rig down.

So, what does people say about this ? GPU mining still have some profit to be made ?
I pay 0.11usd/kwh elecricity.

I need some advice here.

Thanks.

396  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.5.1 on: October 12, 2013, 01:15:24 PM
I have only used bitminters own software to run my usb eruptors earlier without any problem. Now i want to put all my usb devices to mine in another slush pool with cgminer.

I dont get it to work at all. I am using Win 7 32bit version.

If i try the 3.1.1 version of cgminer it only tells me it dont find any devices.

If i try the 3.5.0 version of cgminer i get:

Does anyone know what to to to get it work with cgminer ? I have tried like all win7 guides i have found without luck. I guess the problem lies with the winusb driver ?

Zadig is needed for 3.1.1.  It will prevent 3.5.0 from working.  Depending on your hardware, you may be able to run 3.5.0 w/o zadig.  Some hardware just isn't recognized by cgminer (I'm about 50/50 with my hardware).

Also, I tried 3.5.0 briefly and ran into errors (didn't have a chance to look closer).  Using 3.4.2 or 3.4.3 right now w/o zadig.

M
After some cleaning of drivers i installed one step older version of zadig and now cgminer locates my erupter as an AMU devices.
No i just have to figure out some commands for cgminer.

edit. Finally got it to run Smiley Now i mine my blades @bitminter and my usb rig at slush pool. Wish me luck Wink

Yes you need to use Zadig. The spelling may be a little off but its close. Info on what to do is in the ASIC Readme. Likely a search for Zadig will let you know what you need from there.
I am already using zadig. Maybe wrong version or something ?

I made some preparations in my cold storage today. Just some power and ethernet wiring left.

In total the storage will host 3xJupiter, 1xSaturn, 10x Old version overclocked blades and my USB rig with total 66 eruptors.

Nice! RM850's?
Yes 3xRM850 and 1xRM450 Smiley
