381  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: July 12, 2018, 03:43:04 AM
It is normal for the world economy to be degraded by the economic war. It will soon rise again like the way the Cryptocurrency market recovers. The current world economy is in recession and the prices of the altcoins are sharply decreasing. This is an opportunity for us to buy altcoin and long term hold.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: July 12, 2018, 03:40:46 AM
I do not think that. At present, Bitcoin's biggest rivals, ETH and NEO, need more time to develop. NEO is a very potential altcoin but this is not yet a moment of strong development.
I think NEO will need another five years to compare with Bitcoin.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: July 12, 2018, 03:37:16 AM
It looks like bitcoin will have a very strong dip and be back under 1k.  My prediction is telling me it will fall to around the 500 dollar range within a month.
I do not think that. The value of Bitcoin is still very high. I think this is just a whale's strategy. They are making traders panic and selling everything. At present our market has added the entry of GeoSor Soros, he is famous for his manipulation. So we should not be too worried about the market. Stay calm and make money from daily deals. Wink
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto market recover? on: July 11, 2018, 04:09:58 PM
All dreams have been shattered while the marketcap keeps falling every time I refresh coinmarketcap. I kept Hodling expecting it to be a small correction like the ones in 2017. Portfolio dropped more than 70% already  Cry and still dont see the bottom. Now I am wondering if it will recover to previous highs especially considering the China ban and regulations.  Cry Any thoughts?
I think the market will recover soon in Q4 and you do not worry too much. My money has been reduced by more than 40% compared to March. I am really sad but the sadness and anxiety do not make my money back. The best way to get back your capital is to work harder and make better calculations before investing to make a profit.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: July 09, 2018, 02:35:27 AM
Which altcoins have potential to grow like Bitcoin?
ETH will be my answer. It's common knowledge that EOS and XRP are Bitcoin's competitors, but I think different. ETH is Bitcoin's real competitor and it is actively promoting its service as well as its security. I highly appreciate the trend of ETH in 2018. And it will be a very powerful altcoin like Bitcoin in the future.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: July 08, 2018, 04:29:47 AM
In his own reddit AskMeEverything page, https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/80ow6w/im_bill_gates_cochair_of_the_bill_melinda_gates/

He answers about cryptocurrency stating
“The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Government’s ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

I think Bill Gates is quite right. Because Bitcoin will make tax evasion and money laundering easier and will never be detected. Although Blockchain technology brings many benefits to banks, it also brings many negative aspects.
Anyway, I still believe in a good future for Cryptocurrency.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Country and Cryptos on: July 08, 2018, 04:27:37 AM
I'm curious, how big are cryptos in your country? Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.
In my own country, the government has a very negative outlook on Crypto and makes ICO projects worse when they keep the bad news about Crypto. It has greatly affected the number of people entering the Crypto market. I am quite sad when the country has very few people recognize the potential of Cryptocurrency.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2018, 05:09:15 AM
In recent years, blockchain technologies have given rise to a new industry. Numerous fintech startups create innovative solutions to radically change the world which we live in today.

SWIFT 2.0 on Blockchain

Ripple Labs, Inc. – a company developing cryptocurrency of the same name (Ripple) – is a good example of how the blockchain can be used to transform the landscape of modern financial transactions. Ripple solves the existing problem in the world of finance.

Today, we can send letters instantly by using emails instead of traditional postal service. We can send any information to anywhere in the world in one click. But we can’t say the same about money. We can’t make a transfer of money from a sender to receiver as fast as a transfer of information. The existing solutions that the current world can offer are very slow and expensive.

If you want to send, say, $10,000 from New York to London, it will be faster to take cash, go to the JFK airport and fly through the Atlantic on the plane. Because traditional interbank transfer will take from 2 to 5 working days.

Ripple makes cross-border payments faster and cheaper. It takes only 4 seconds to make a transaction through Ripple blockchain network, and it costs at roughly $0.0004 even for the amount of hundreds million dollars.

Crypto Derivatives

Step by step, cryptocurrency is being recognized by the traditional financial world as a new kind of digital asset with many benefits. Wall Street approached crypto by establishing derivatives contracts. In December 2017, the two largest U.S. Futures Exchanges – Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) – launched futures trading on Bitcoin. This opened up crypto-market for big money of institutional clients and hedge funds.

Since the launch of futures, there has been a heated debate about the expected Bitcoin ETFs on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). If this is launched, you will be able to buy shares of such ETFs as stocks which price will be correlated with the price of Bitcoin.

Next level of crypto derivatives is option contracts, both options on Bitcoin futures and options on Bitcoin itself. Whilst CBOE and CME are still discussing the possible launch of options on Bitcoin futures, the Bitcoin options already being traded on several crypto-exchanges such as LedgerX and Deribit.

After the Bubble

The tech sector of U.S. stock market is determined by the NASDAQ indexes that include stocks of numerous tech companies, and many of them were born during the famous Dotcom bubble in 1995-2002.

At its climax in March 2000, NASDAQ Composite index peaked at a high of over 5,000 points and then lost about 80% of its value dropping to a low of around 1,000 points in October 2002.
A new all-time high has been reached only after 15 years in 2015, surpassing the level made during the Dotcom bubble.

The charts of NASDAQ index in 1999-2000 and Bitcoin price in 2017-2018 are incredibly similar, with the only difference that velocity of Bitcoin price increase is several times faster than the velocity of NASDAQ growth.

Many companies created during the Dotcom bubble were really ahead of their time. For example, Amazon, which was founded in 1997 as an online bookstore, is now among world’s top-5 tech companies. Amazon has finally become an integral part of lives of the most U.S. residents but this has happened only with the passage of time and the introduction of the Internet into everyday life.

The same happens with Crypto now. Today, the blockchain technology is really ahead of its time. It is possible that after several years many blockchain projects will be implemented in the real world, and Crypto will emerge from a new Renaissance. Until then, the Bitcoin price can possibly suffer decline and continuous depression, just as NASDAQ did.

The recent sharp drop in the crypto market caused the decrease in volatility and the decline in public interest. The initial excitement is gone now and the market has calmed down. This is a sign that the new market is moving into the maturity phase.

Big money like quiet markets. So, news has begun to come that hedge funds with the money of Soros, Rockefeller, and even Rothschilds family are moving into the world of crypto.

These financial sharks seem confident in the bright future of crypto-markets. And the most interesting time is yet to come.

Indeed, large businesses are cooperating quite well with the large altcoins in the Crypto market. This is a sign of the great potential of the Crypto market. I highly appreciate this article and it is very useful for the forum.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Neo go to 10USD on: July 06, 2018, 02:22:05 PM
It is a strong possibility!
People think Neo is wonderful.
Look at it NOW
I read a while back that the blockchain has fundamental flaws: I wonder if they fixed it!
Neo don’t care they have everyone’s money like so many shit projects. The founders are laughing at us!
I think you are pretty negative about NEO. NEO is a well-known altcoin in the Crypto market as it always has a great platform.
Besides, its price has been increased dramatically and it is a sign of its strong future development.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: July 06, 2018, 02:20:29 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

I say green
The growth or downside of the Crypto market is very unpredictable. Besides, instability is one of the characteristics of Cryptoccurrency and we can not deny that. But to predict a red or green market is easy. Because the Crypto market always goes up and down in a certain cycle and I expect it to be red.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in cryptocurrency on: July 05, 2018, 03:52:03 AM
As you have seen, we have a big downtrend from the beginning of 2018 and currently, I think that is a good time for us to invest in bitcoin.
Keep track of the chart below from the wall che cheat sheet
We compare with bitcoin, in your opinion we are at what stage?

I think we are near to the Depression

Please give me your oppinion

P/S: Why can not I post pictures?
Indeed, the Crypto market is in a crisis. And this is a very good time to invest in it. People are scared and anxious, they will sell everything at a very cheap price. This is an opportunity for us to get rich. Be brave when people are scared. Wink
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: July 05, 2018, 03:49:49 AM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
The future is very difficult to predict, whoever makes the wrong decision. I used to be greedy like you, I used to hold an altcoin for $ 3k6. I did not sell because I believe its price will increase according to online sources, but it is against the news. So I lost more than $ 2k for that down.
We should accept that failure to do experience. Wink
393  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: July 05, 2018, 03:47:36 AM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

I thought the market was pumping. No market can rise sharply after 1 hour. That is an absurdity. But it's easy to understand that the Crypto market is famous for its pumping and dumping.
So this is a very normal thing for investors who have bonded to the long-term Crypto market.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment? on: July 04, 2018, 03:29:19 AM
When investing in losses, do not panic. If you have invested properly and trusted your portfolio, you will be profitable even if the market goes down badly. Because everything will return to their true value. i believe in that.
Beside that, I will work harder to have extra money investing in some other altcoins to bring small profit to myself.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: July 04, 2018, 03:25:44 AM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
The ideal number for the transaction is $ 5k. It is a number that can make you extremely wealthy if you have a lot of smart strategies. You can spend 50% of your capital to invest in ICO. The remaining 50% will be distributed to the altcoins in the top 30. Buy bottom and hold long until the market recovers, you will soon rich.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Tether be delisted from exchanges? on: July 03, 2018, 12:54:50 PM
It is a possibility!
Tether won’t even be ranked on the top 500 a year from now!
Currency pairs are on the way!
Bitcoin will also suffer from currency pairs because it will become obsolete: Think about it!
Market dynamics will change!
Tether is really very important. Traders need Tether to hold and wait for the opportunity to trade. I usually trade through Tether and never hold any other altcoins.
Its advantage is price stability and we will be safe to hold it.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do whales really control the market, or is that a myth on: July 03, 2018, 12:50:53 PM
Is there any evidence that these mysterious 'whales' really control the bitcoin market, or is this a myth generated as people try to understand why bitcoin prices go up and down?
Whales really have control of the market and it is not a false news. The stock market has plenty of whales to manipulate the market but is often caught by the SEC. In the Crypto market, we are not protected and the manipulation still takes place. We need to change the way we operate this market.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: July 03, 2018, 12:47:42 PM
Governments can not break it because Cryptocurrency has become a big and influential market in the world. There is a lot of market capitalization in Crypto and it can not be knocked down. So its going to be nice and we do not need to worry.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 02, 2018, 01:43:02 AM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

I think Bitcoin is just a money transfer tool and we can invest to make money from it. But it will not be considered a coin because it has so many disadvantages. Limited supply, unstable, Crypto market is always in a state of manipulation. So Bitcoin will not be eligible to become a widely used currency.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k - when do you sell on: July 02, 2018, 01:39:40 AM
Hey guys,

lets make it short:
1) yes bitcoin is the future and the price will increase on the long run, but:
2) we are currently obv. bubbling (what is not happening the first time).

So my question is - do you sell now in order to get a cheaper entry soon?

I think you guys agree that there has to be a price correction in the nearer future...

Thanks for your input!
If my portfolio increases by 5%, I will sell them immediately. I do not believe in the growth of the Crypto market. It is always unstable and the ups and downs are frequent. So I choose safe mode and do not want to risk the Crypto market.
