381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 02, 2023, 07:02:20 AM
The 2nd match of the IPL has ended in favor of Punjab Kings ad they won by seven runs through DLS. I would say it was tough luck for Kolkata Knight Riders. The rain ruin any chances for KKR team to come back in the match although they were struggling when the rain came down. Still, I wished we could have finished the whole 20 overs.
Kolkata's fortunes were very bad. So they lost this match. Kolkata would have been able to win this match if they got a chance to play the full 20 overs. Because Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur were at the crease. Narine is quite a good batsman. However, I was not satisfied with Kolkata's performance in today's match. Their bowling was uncontrollable. The Kolkata squad is not strong enough. And if Kolkata perform like this in their upcoming matches, this team will be at the bottom of the table.
I don't really think that they could win the match even if they have got opportunity to play the whole overs because there were 7 wickets down and Narine was the only player who could hit big shots, and even for him, it doesn't always work and he mostly gets out trying to hit big and fails to lead the charge mostly as we've seen in the past.

It was unfortunate of course, but as you said, their performance wasn't up to the mark. They have conceded a lot of runs and their batsmen too couldn't build any partnerships. They need to work on these couple of things if they don't want to lack behind in the league round.
382  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: April 01, 2023, 06:11:23 PM
Yes, no doubt A.I is the new trend of internet marketing, affiliate marketing and online gambling as it has proven to do works initially meant for humans in the slightest few seconds, more faster and accurate. And as such making many people now lose their jobs, which is quite both good and bad, as with the use of A.I a user don't need to pay for voiceover anymore as we have got an A. I human-like tool that convert text into speech in few seconds, write a full blog post with A.I, generate a YouTube video, analyze a sport betting team and do lots of more others.
But in all this, usage of AI in gambling has proven to be ineffective since gambling games require some player's input that AI may not be able to meet up with, so even though AI has proven to be effective in some areas of operation but it will be a failure in the gambling market and casinos already have an anty bot features that will block AI access to some scripted games to avoid manipulation of the games result.
Even if AI manages to meet up with the requirement of user input, the input wouldn't really be accurate and will probably cause more losses than wins. AI runs with algorithms, and casino games are usually based on visuals, so I don't really understand how AI can be able to play a casino game instead of a human gambler with wide-open eyes.

People used to debate about how AI can be useful in predicting outcomes of sports events for sports betting, but even in that sector, it wouldn't be able to provide accurate predictions because it doesn't have the ability to evaluate things in the way a human can do.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most likely category of people to become Gambling addicts. on: April 01, 2023, 01:28:25 PM
I think inviting our friends to play gambling without knowing who they are is too risky. That's because gambling can provoke him to spend more money than we imagine. And if he does and doesn't stop, we can imagine he'll get a gambling addiction and when that happens, we'll have a hard time getting him out of gambling. So it's better for us to play gambling as usual without inviting them and if they ask us about gambling, we can only warn them and tell them not to gamble, especially if they don't have good self-control.
There's nothing wrong in discussing something that you do or like doing in front of your friends in a gathering, and if someone shows interest in that and asks you about how it's done, you should simply tell them everything and then let them know that it involves a lot of risks so they should be careful and should only use money that they can afford to lose if they are ever to gamble.

You shouldn't be the one to blame for what someone does to themselves even after knowing everything upfront. If they can't keep discipline and that causes them serious damage, they are the ones to be blamed for their own actions, they aren't kids after all.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 01, 2023, 05:35:51 AM
Financially, every gathering meal/drinking is not cheap because it involves a lot of drinks and dishes. The average cost of such dinner/drinking is equivalent to 1/5 the average monthly income in the city where we live. So every month, the cost for these "gatherings" consumes all the income that a man can earn for months. This is considered a huge waste of money in many people's eyes cause most people don't earn much. Although I don't drink, occasionally I will treat them and pay the bills for the guesture of friendliness. Do you think my friends' lifestyle is a waste of money and time ? How much do you spend on such gatherings on average ? Please let me know.
I wouldn't call it a waste of time since it probably is the time when all of you are free from work and stuff, but it obviously is a huge waste of money if you ask me. Having small get-togethers every day isn't an issue if it's not costing anyone any significant amount of money, you can just meet somewhere, have coffee or tea, or even a beer if you want, but having dine-outs with heavy drinking in about 4 days out of the week is excessive.

Such a lifestyle is obviously a huge waste of money, and shouldn't be followed by anyone at all, even you. I understand that they are your friends, but as you said, you all are family men, so you can easily ask them to excuse you whenever you want by saying that your family needs you more. Joining them once or twice in a couple of weeks shouldn't be a problem, but not every time they do it.
385  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: March 31, 2023, 06:58:51 PM
I think it can greatly increase the response times and also the solvability of the issues in less time than humans since they will need to attend to the queries one by one while an AI can do it simultaneously.
If it's just to help and facilitate casino support work using bots can provide speed in answering all questions that are not so complicated.
But we need to know that bots cannot solve serious problems such as problems when making transactions or other problems that are a little difficult to answer instantly.
Casinos should consider everything they are going to add so there is no feeling of being disappointed by gamblers.
Apart from considering it the casino also needs to test and see if gamblers like and don't mind developmental additions like bots or AI.
Complex problems and queries that the AI cannot solve or accurately respond to can easily be redirected to a human operator or added to a database that a human worker can check later on and solve the issues one by one. That would make things more organized, and the AI will take care of the easy-to-solve problems and queries and send the complex ones forward to be checked and cleared.

If they really get into it, I believe the sky is the limit for customizations of the program as per their needs if their developers can do it. They can make changes and customize the AI to meet their specific needs and requirements.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 31, 2023, 04:26:11 PM
So, skill-based slots, huh? I suppose it's high time those millennials put their video game prowess to work. Who requires fortune when you've got insane abilities, am I right? However, let's face it, the odds remain in favor of the house, and no level of talent can alter that reality.

But hey, don't get too down. The emergence of skill-based slot machines signifies the gambling world's evolution and adaptation to shifting times. It's captivating to observe how tech is transforming our wagering habits. Maybe in a few years, we'll see VR slot machines transporting us on mind-bending journeys through alternate realms.

When it comes to my preference between traditional or skill-based slots, I say, why pick sides? Let's revel in both universes! Spice things up, alternate, and let luck and skill live together in flawless harmony. Gambling's all about enjoyment and taking chances, so why not combine a pinch of luck with a dash of skill?
It's probably true that it wouldn't really increase the odds for players to win more but will only provide a chance for them to increase their chances of getting more bonus spins or maybe higher multipliers, we are yet to know what kind of rules the bonus rounds or the games will have, but at the end of the day, it's still a casino game and they don't always favor the gambler.

And you are right that both normal and skill-based slots should be used side by side, and platforms should include both options for players to try, and they will choose which one they like more.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 31, 2023, 12:51:02 PM
It did touch that price if I'm not mistaken, but as you have said, it's a big resistance and it's not that time to go and maintain it because the price is way below at $28,000 and fluctuating to lows of $27,900.

So no $30,000 for us, just not enough time this March, so yes, April will be the best time frame for us to reach it. And we need another positive news, or if the banking crisis still continue and the the Fed cuts its rate, maybe next month we will go up to $30,000 after a long time. But as we can see that price, the higher the price we got, the higher it gets to increased. So maybe the top price could just be around $35,000-$40,000 at the end of the year.
$35k to $40k by the end of the year? That sounds too low to me, we are only just entering the 4th month of the year, and we have seen pretty clearly that Bitcoin is gradually crossing old resistances and creating new ones like we had $25k as the resistance previously which was crossed and now the resistance is at around $29k which will probably be crossed within the first couple of weeks of the new month.

So for me, $40k wouldn't really be the target for the end of the year, and I have a higher target in mind, and I'm pretty sure it's achievable if Bitcoin continues to grow in value gradually even if the growth rate is low.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is improving I guess? on: March 31, 2023, 12:05:20 PM
We are more likely to experience better end of the year, as of last two weeks Bitcoin was $23,000 but I can see some impressive changes hopefully the ends or mid of the year will make significant changes in price. Though am not excited much because  even if it pumps I might not enjoy the fat price, I bought when the price is high but now you will pity my wallet. Anyway we're sure of better 2023.
The reason you gave at the end for why you are not going to enjoy a pump is why it's better to do DCA and not buy the complete worth of your capital at once and then only keep watching when the price goes down more and more. Those who do DCA gets to buy even at the lowest price positions and get a very good average price for selling when it goes up.

Also, I believe as you said, the price will be pretty high by the end of the year, I'm not expecting it to set a new all-time high as predicted by a lot of people, but I just have a gut feeling that it will be at least 70 to 80% higher than the current price.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 30, 2023, 08:58:41 PM
Victor Osimhen has been very transparent in acknowledging the fact that it's been his childhood dream to play in the English Premier League and reports has it that Chelsea has been childhood club. Chelsea currently do not have clinical no. 9 striker and with the current heavy investment in the team's midfield and defense, Victor Osimhen will be a match made in heaven.

Victor Osimhen is expected to cost above 150 million pounds  but after the heavy January spending, will Chelsea owner want to make another big signing in the summer? That's a question that only the Chelsea owner can answer
Yep, maybe 150 million could be even more if there were some clubs who were prepared to pay more than that but of course this is another problem for Chelsea because more than 400 million they also spent before buying several players in the Tuchel and Potter era so this is be another inhibiting factor.
On the other hand, with the condition of their strikers who have piled up quite a lot, they also of course have to remove several players there and it is possible that new players can also be eliminated, especially Lukaku who is also likely to return next season.
Currently, we have two English clubs which are having interest in this transfer with most chances Manchester United will be leading club because Chelsea is already had good spending in last two transfer windows, and they have no success even now they are going to lose European spot for the next season as well which could be big setback for them and Victor Osimhen is also looking for having chance into Champions League for the next season which is now possible in Manchester United now we have to wait for the next step as how Napoli will handle this transfer and Manchester United will invest on this player or if they will be gone ahead with their second choice from Frankfurt and bring Kolo Muani which is also good and have good potential but less in cost, so things are going to be interested in near future for few new rising players and big clubs.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 30, 2023, 01:38:09 PM
On Friday, Marseille host Montpellier in the opening match of the week. Marseille has to win to reduce the points difference with PSG. Montpellier, on the other hand, has been in great form in recent weeks. They have 5 wins and 1 draw in the last 6 weeks. I think it won't be an easy match for Marseille. Montpellier's unbeaten streak could be broken with this match. When we look at the odds, Marseille is shown as heavy favorite but I think Montpellier is not an easy target. If Marseille wins this match, they will reduce the points difference with PSG to 4. It should be noted that PSG will play Lyon. In such a week, Marseille will not want to make a mistake.
On papers and odds are completely favouring Marseille to win this match but as you already mentioned Montpellier is in great form with currently they are at the top in last five matches performance four wins and one draw mean it's never been easy match for the host team while they fail to win from last four matches at home which is surely not ideal situation for them while they are going to challenge leaders PSG for the title race they have to improve their performance and quality as well because now we have only 10 matches left in this season and both top teams are trying their best for staying at their current level with PSG which is also now having exit from Champions League having not ideal performance which can create some interesting competition for the title race.
391  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for paying online casinos for refer on: March 30, 2023, 05:32:02 AM
Here I will probably note that such an increase in the cost of tokens sometimes happens.
However, my experience is that this only happens once.  Then such a strong pump is almost never possible.  And such tokens forever remain not very expensive for a long time, but most likely forever.  More precisely, as long as the project itself is supported by devs and still works.  I think that it is better to sell such tokens in time on the hype, at a great price.  Get rid of them and forget.
Well, of course, if you do not use them in your game.
Then of course you don't.  It is necessary to sell on time because it is pointless to hold them.
The token that guy mentioned is nothing more than just a pump-and-dump token with no liquidity, volume, or market cap, and the guy is a shiller and nothing else. It isn't a proper project to be supported by devs or the team, though you are right that such tokens can have a pump like that once in their total lifespan and it probably already had it.

These shilling activities are proof that a project is not legit and can't get any traders or investors by themselves until they pay a couple of bucks to random people to create new accounts and shill the token in forums like this.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 30, 2023, 04:53:20 AM

Whether the CBDC is accepted it not, I do not think it'll enhance the economy or reduce the current inflation.
It is not a crypto currency afterall. But I think it'll be easier to adopt the CBDC as legal tender than to adopt crypto currency.
CBDC is developed by the government of course it will be adopted as an alternative to the real fiat we use right now. Basically, it's what we are going to be using, it's going to be normalized and we can use it anywhere including gambling online.

But they do have digital control of your spending, if they see you spend more on gambling I guess they can turn off your app to not work on casinos and you can only buy Mcdonald's chips.  Grin
I don't think that the control that they wish to gain is to safeguard users or to prevent them from losses or spending a lot of money on gambling or anything else, but their primary goal will probably be to impose taxes on the users based on their financial activities, and if we use CBDCs, we will literally give them the right to keep an eye on our expenses and finances.

Soon after CBDCs are accepted in gambling and many other places, they will start trying to remove the usage of cryptocurrencies or decentralized digital coins like Bitcoin since they are totally against their goals.
393  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What do you buy/want to buy with crypto? on: March 29, 2023, 08:14:15 AM
It's really a great platform. I want to buy a BMW MINI for my wife. She loves the style and cuteness of the BMW MINI. I also think it is very suitable for my lovely wife. But I think it may not be as convenient as buying in reality...
Crypto payments are currently not just to buy Coffee or anything else. Currently virtual currency is used in various shopping malls including restaurants and all goods are paid in bitcoins. Virtual currency is gaining immense popularity among people in daily life. and payment in cryptocurrency offers many benefits for which people are now choosing the virtual world. I think in future this virtual market will gain more popularity all over the world.
By virtual currency, do you mean cryptocurrency? Because I don't really think that cryptocurrencies are used so widely at the moment, maybe at some places in some countries around the world, but we don't really have a lot of options or places where we can buy food or goods and pay with Bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency.

Global adoption is yet to come, currently, only people know and use Bitcoin, and vendors and businesses are not really into it except for some of them some also use it as an investment for their extra funds but they are not yet interested in accepting it as a payment for their products and services.
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Possible things that gives beginners problems on: March 29, 2023, 05:09:03 AM
The last warning on your list is the most important one, any form of plagiarism on this forum can't be forgiven, you will instantly get yourself painted with red trust if you engage in the act of plagiarism on this forum, the fault is on newbies not ready to read first before using the forum.
I think people mostly get a temp ban for plagiarism if I'm not wrong, so it is not only getting negative trust but a user plagiarizing will lose their account as well. And I just wonder how lazy one can be when he simply just copies something that has been written by someone and pastes it making minor changes or in some cases, with no changes at all.

It's a shame if you are caught plagiarizing others' content and claiming it's your own. Even those having English as their second language do their best to at least write things themselves no matter how difficult it can get for them. Besides, one can simply use writing tools such as Grammarly that can assist them with mistakes and errors within their writing.
395  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 28, 2023, 08:48:30 PM
We all want to bet in a casino where we easily get bonuses whether we are winning or losing. This is one of the best things every gamblers want to be seeing in the casino they are using to make bets. We all to keep winning not minding if want we are doing can give us a good profit or not. That is the fate of a gambler to always winning not minding when the bad day would come.
Don't you also want a provably-fair system where you can check the authenticity of every bet that you are playing whether they are fair or not? And what about a smaller wagering requirement for those bonuses or even the deposits? Wouldn't that be sweet? I think it would, I don't really disagree that gamblers love good bonuses when they get some, but there are things that add to the flavor.

I would surely love to have a 200% or maybe 300% bonus on my deposit but I would also love to not have a very high wagering requirement for that if I manage to win a few bucks that I might want to withdraw.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 28, 2023, 05:11:41 PM
I really need a clarification on this. Is chasing looses in gambling same as looking for closure because i recently read an article on reddit where the poster said that he will gamble untill he wins just to look for closure.

To me everything amount to a chase in uncertainties because you can't predict what the outcome of what you're after may bring, if you think chasing after losses recovery will help you bring back the losses made by continuous attempts may bring nothing than a grid luck, the two as you have asked are different but it depends on the way the gambler apply it in his own situation, don't always believe that everything you read on the internet is always true.
Well, though the outcome cannot be predicted, we all know that the house will have its edge most of the time, so chasing losses is basically not a productive way of getting your money back that is already lost. So the mindset of a gambler should be that any money lost in gambling is not recoverable, especially not by trying to chase them.

If luck is on your side, you won't need to chase anything as you won't lose much but win more which doesn't always happen but it happens once in a blue moon and we should enjoy that when it happens.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2023, 03:14:54 PM
Leverkusen will faced hard match this weekend that they will playing away at Schalke home ground and i know both teams are in the good shape especially Leverkusen that after beating Bayern Munich on Bundesliga and qualified to quarterfinal on europa league i am sure they are in the good mentally but their opponent Schalke also has been change became an so tough recently

And Schalke has successfully to strengthen their defense and improved their performance recently even Dortmund and Union Berlin were unable to gets full points from them and indeed based on head to head statistics i can see Leverkusen is the favourite but i don't think Schalke will be easily to beat so i am curious whether Leverkusen will be able to overcomes Schalke or not
In round 26, we are going to have few very interesting matches which are going to have big impact on league table as well and here in this match if Schalke beats Leverkusen then surely they could be on verge of coming out of relegation zone which could be one of the best in recent times because in last eight matches they have 12 points with 2 wins and 6 draws which is clearly giving how changes are happening in this team after having one of the worst start of this season now they are on positive development which is amazing stuff from them.

Leverkusen is also doing amazing job after having Alonso as coach because they were also in relegation zone but now having impressive win against Bayern Munich and have fair chance for the sixths pot into league table which will give them another chance for the UEFA competitions in next season and right now they are also having good chance for giving Schalke tough time even prediction is not easy for this match but things looking for another draw which will be good for the both teams.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 28, 2023, 06:21:38 AM
What is the fair percentage of a total max supply that are in circulation that can make you invest in a project? It is fine to avoid a project that has low circulating supply? Why? What about if the project is a brand new project and the use case is killing it?
You can evaluate the value of circulating supply if you have thoroughly researched the tokenomics of a project and understand how they have allocated the tokens in the initial phase. If you see that the circulating supply is way too lower than the max supply, you should think that what if the remaining supply is released in the market later on? That can affect the price for sure.

So it is probably better if a token/coin has a circulating supply closer to its maximum supply which means that there is no chance of the team or some early investors dumping their coins in the market later on and put a huge impact on the price of the coin/token.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual Betting/ Real bet on: March 27, 2023, 07:45:22 PM
I would NEVER bet on a virtual event because it is not based on anything real and any prediction is purely based on chance.
in short, a waste of time and perhaps of money.
It's sure to be fun, with loads of events to play at any time, but the lack of history or real differences makes it a poor example of betting in my opinion.
I would probably not bet on virtual games as well and rather spend the time and money on a slot machine where I could maybe hit a good multiplier and get a few extra bucks to play later than just betting on a virtual game where I can easily lose the money. I think it is better if someone chooses to bet on a sports event rather than a virtual one as there are more chances of winning in a sports bet.

I don't want to be judgmental about those who place bets on virtual games as they probably know what they are doing, it is just that I wouldn't prefer doing that and would probably go for something else instead.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2023, 05:50:21 AM
Thats not that simple to cut it down. Only thing that can be done is to encourage direct spending of bitcoin. Maybe such act will speed up the adoption of bitcoin all around. In reality it is difficult to happen, because of people's preference of bitcoin. People consider bitcoin as an investment than a transaction source or something else. So, the dependence over banks won't get cut easily.
Lack of available options to spend Bitcoins just like fiat is the reason why people consider Bitcoin an investment more than a source of payment. They don't see it being accepted anywhere, but they can clearly see its price moving up and down, so the fact that if someone buys it low and sells it high makes it more of an investment asset than a payment currency at the moment.

Maybe in the future when vendors and businesses around the globe start accepting Bitcoin as payment and that might change people's perspective of how Bitcoin should primarily be used. But even after that, I believe some people will still use it as an investment opportunity.
