I have a request.

Can someone make a image with the Litedoge wallet installed on that will function as a standard so people who has no idea of how to use Linux can just throw the image on their Raspberry Pi and then move their own wallet.dat file to the Pi instead.

Because I am going crazy after trying this for 4 hours. And I cant get it working.

385  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How many mines with USB miners? on: May 19, 2015, 11:53:11 AM

It's very easy.  Cut the usb cord from an old keyboard or mouse (or take it apart).  Strip the red and back wires on the usb cable and on the 2 from your fan.  Twist the wires together and cover each pair.  You can even attach an adapter end like I did to make it modular.

I also use 4 hinges to keep the fan stable; hinges are cheap at home depot.

That is so cool! xD

I might do that with some coolers I have laying around.
Will come in handy for the summer to cool us off when we sweat at the computer xD

It's horribly but these people are really desperate, even ready to sacrifice their lives in order to come in Western countries and find better future for their families.
Western states would eventually have to do something to help those poor and frightened people, and should not longer close their eyes to the drama that takes place daily in front of their borders.
This is just one more proof of the inability of the EU to solve the truly serious political problems in its territory.

The problem is that if we opened the borders then we would be flooded with people.
It would crash the economy.
It would kill a lot of people because they cant get shelter or food.
Crime rates would skyrocket because they would steal to survive.

Wow...

This is sick.
I have seen stories from the US where mexicans were hiding below car parts and suffercated or were basicly cooked because they where in the so long.

Its sad to see this, but its kinda understandable since they just want a "normal" like most of us live.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin should i invest in? on: May 19, 2015, 08:57:52 AM
Hey guys, i have a little btc set back and i was wondering which altcoin that costs less than 10k satoshis i should  invest in
what coin do you think i should invest in and why?

Do LiteDoge.

Why?

Because its awesome for staking and you can get a lot of coins from staking rather fast Tongue
The price is 3-4 sat so you can get plenty of coins for a low amount of BTC Smiley

390  Other / Meta / Re: Petition for Monero to have its own board, so we don't bother the altcoins. on: May 19, 2015, 08:56:02 AM
What about using the official forums instead of spamming BTCtalk then?
There is no reason for this.

What about Dash? Doge? Litecoin? Ripple? or any other big coin that is around?

This is a useless thread to be honest.

I think Block Erupters can be great fun to tinker with. I would also say that you can have every bit as much fun with 8-10 as you do with 59. Getting the first half dozen to work reliably on a hub with a Raspberry Pi feels really good. The next 50 are just an exercise in frustration, in my experience. The same applies for U1's and U2's which are even better devices. It just stops being fun trying to manage dozens of these devices.

Well.. I will be getting some USB hubs soon I can use for this.
I bought some that sadly did not deliver enough power to the USBs so I need to buy some new ones Sad

I am new to all this.  What does "Staking" mean?  Thanks for your patience.

Check out LiteDoge Smiley

Buy some coins and let them sit in a open wallet.
Then you will get blocks just like mining.

Instead of hashrate  with mining then the amount of coins you have become your hashrate.

So the more coins you have, the higher is the chance of getting blocks.

I've got about seven of those R-Boxes on the shelf and a few more that need fixing. They're nice little machines.

They really are! On day 5 with no problems. Occasional failure to respond (1-2 times a day) but cgminer resets it within seconds. 136gh average each!

How much does those miners cost?
Is it worth getting them?

How much power to day take?
