Tomorrow the SEC will approve ore disapprove Winklevoss ETF...

To avoid to much disappointment, i expect that the SEC are still not happy with the ETF framework. So the Winklevoss needs to spend more money and time to make it more satisfied.

Hopefully not disapprove... that will definitely cause a drop in price.

Maybe some insider knows that it's gonna get approved and went balls deep in BTC yesterday? That would explain a spike with low volume. But most likely it'll be delayed again.

Where's Jimbo?? The price finally moved!

Needle is showing up on the chart. Any news from Deutsche Bank?

China yuan sinks to six-year low, and possibility of a green light for the ETF

With ViaBTC moving all their hashrate (~12%) to Bitcoin Unlimited... looks like SegWit is going to get blocked and scaling will be at a standstill again.

I don't see this as positive news at all.

RingCT is not a guarantee price boost either. Markets move on anticipation of news, not when the news actually happens

Did you confirm with N-rG first? What is amazing is how after getting busted you have the gall to post like an authority about what "actually happens". No adjectives to describe persons like you who probably lie to themselves in the mirror while scumbagging to the crowd.

What? Look at the dates you moron. I'm pretty sure N-rG is the one who got busted with that chart, where are these N-rG nut huggers coming from lol

@TheKoziTwo etc.

If I would follow you and some others here, I would see my money burning and still waiting for the 10.000 USD hit.

At least you could invest your time not in FUD some Users who gives valueable advices but more in making marketing for Monero if you like it so much to paint.

That would help the community and the coin much more. Consider it. Im glad I follow him and Bitcoinmagazin and also adolf. They and very few other users were realistic and always said be careful the coin can drop more.

Half of these haters wrote me PM's and asked for trading tipps...never feed trolls Smiley

I also PM'd TheKoziTwo and some other people here. I like getting different perspectives before making a decision, doesn't necessarily mean I think you're always right.

And since we are quoting our past here's one I made when the price was 0.0172 ... obviously making better calls than N-rG  Cheesy

Question to traders in the area.  Considering what is going on right now with XMR, I'm debating on opening a long position.  The thing that I would like an opinion on is, would you currently open a long position for about 3 or 4 months until RingCT is implemented?  Considering when I personally margin trade, I put up very little.  This is due to me being only 1 month into trading world and what I'm learning via Baby Pips.

If you want to shit on my question cool.  But I'm just legitimately curious about opinions.

So, open long position on margin for ~50$ worth of XMR and let it sit until or around RingCT implementation?

Thank you.

3-4 months? Hell no, the price can correct all the way back to 0.01-0.012 which I think it will and you will get margin called. But if you're only risking $50 then maybe

Just for fun I looked at the post history of N-rG and plotted his predictions on the actual chart.

I'm not sure how he made money based on these predictions, but good job. That's a pretty amazing feat.  Smiley

Hehe, in summary he's full of s*** Smiley

Haha thank you for this chart!

Now do me Wink

jk dont, but I made way better calls than N-rG, f*cking noob

October 12th - yay or nay?
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [REP] Augur speculation on: October 06, 2016, 06:06:34 PM
Why did the price drop 99%?

Is this some sort of ICO coin where insiders get to invest first and right when it gets released to public everyone dumps?

Because the first trade was 2 BTC per one rep, which caused an inaccurate representation. Not to mention the fact that almost nobody has their REP on the exchange yet which caused major supply and demand issues.

And the ICO was open to the public, in august 2015, I believe.

Sounds like a scam lol  Cheesy
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 06, 2016, 05:45:46 PM
I bought most of the Monero at the price of 0.50 USD, then at 2 USD and then around 3 USD, but I even bought now additional XMR, don`t know why, greed. Cheesy
I was actually planning to buy below 2$ but i didn't have any bitcoins and when i finally was ready to invest it was too late Angry i also want to get rich without working but i need another 1000XMR for that which is bloody expensive now(and a bit risky).

N-rg: you=awesome

Getting rich quick is always risky.

When XMR was $0.50 no one knew it would get so far. You would still have to risk a few thousand dollars to ride the rally to $10/XMR and become rich

Well I've been poor longer than anybody here so it's going to take quite an effort to "save" me.

WTF 136 now?  Looks like I missed my chance to sell @120 Sad

Ya u missed to sell at 136

For the ones who didnt sell earlier i would strongly recommend to baghold now. Chance to high that all are going in now an the price is exploding.
Hehe I feel to do a 1250 BTC long Cheesy

Actually I added one more bid. Now I have 5 bids in the market and none of them has been taken.  Cry
Come on, I've waited for days already to get those coins, I really want to buy them but seems nobody willing to dump them to me.   Angry

You've been buying "cheap" all the way from 0.019 down because according to you it doesn't matter since monero is gonna be $1000/xmr... so increase your bid a little bit. There are plenty of sellers lol  Wink
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XMR Monero price poll - what is XMR/BTC rate by Dec-31-2016 ?? on: October 05, 2016, 01:46:51 PM
70-90$ in december.

More like $5-$10 in december
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 05, 2016, 01:23:46 PM
Too much people are waiting to buy at 0.01 or below, that's why I think it won't happen.

I'm definitely one of them... not putting a penny in 0.012 when the trend is clearly down
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2016, 04:16:07 PM
Monero is one really strange acting coin, make me lose over 2BTC, was buy 2K for 1.14USD after 6 months price was just go down so i sell them, two weeks later price skyrocket..
Don't know is it smart to go on it ones more, if it will be used for dark web, price should be way over 8USD.

Think there should be at least one more XMR pump mid November, black market activity should rise late November-December, so i hope pump will be before that. Any opinion on this?

In my honest opinion the problem with many people is the deadlines: if the price doesn't rise by the end of 2016 at least to 70 usd, then I will dump and ask others also to dump it.
It might happen overnight that the price jumps 100 % (just like it happened when they announced the acceptance of D.N.M.) but such occassions are rare and very unlikely.
Very good example of the patience is GUI, but I am glad it will be ready soon.
Better to invest only the money you can afford to lose, and do not sell any just because nrg-troll asks you to sell. In the first place just buy the amount of coins you can comfortably sleep your nights without freaking out every 5 % move up/down.

Lol.... I think the only person who thinks XMR even has a chance of rising to $70 this year is you
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 03, 2016, 06:04:50 PM
Price is coming down again. It is my understanding (noobish as it may be), after yesterday's stablization it is coming to .012 levels again. If trade volumes continues to increase, price will fall more. Previously high volumes meant rising price but the opposite is happening.

Anything below 0.01 i would buy... 0.01 -- 0.012 are my targets for long term holds

0.007 feel free to quote it for future reference

Maybe for a short period to scare off the newbs but 0.006 was holding BEFORE xmr was actually being used.. 0.007 wouldn't make sense
Market will be irrational longer than you can remain solvent

Hah, I like that quote.

I guess I'll join mr. TrueCryptonaire and hodl
Its standard one for who  trade stocks.. atleast those that know what they are doing... always expect the unexpected... or just close your trading platform and come back in 5 yrs

Come back in 5 yrs to see Poloniex no longer exists...  Shocked
