381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: April 25, 2018, 04:40:09 PM
If you are from the US than Gemini is an option to convert your Bitcoins into USD and withdraw it to your bank account, if you are from Europe than Kraken is an option, than there are country specific exchanges that a simple Google search can bring up and if none of the option is there than you can just use LocalBitcoins to get cash for your bitcoins.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why not to invest in bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 04:30:48 PM
You might be the first person who is seeking reasons not to invest in Bitcoin. If someone asks for reasons on why he should invest in Bitcoin than I can understand but asking why not to invest in bitcoin doesn't makes sense. If you don't want to invest in Bitcoin than don't, why looking for reasons to not invest in it.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 03:07:41 AM
I don't think Amazon will ever accept Bitcoin when they can come up with their own token which they will control unlike Bitcoin where they don't have any control, as they have the required development team and the resources it takes to create their own coin or token. Also Bitcoin isn't yet ready to handle such a large number of transactions.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: What causes Bitcoin to drop? on: April 25, 2018, 03:00:01 AM
Where do you expect the price to go after pumping for almost an year? Bitcoin was just going through a correction and no amount of positive or negative news could have prevented that. Market corrections are very necessary as they bring the price down to saner levels instead of over valuating something.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin govern the whole world? on: April 25, 2018, 02:54:01 AM
I don't think you understand the meaning of the word govern, as bitcoin isn't some entity who has the brains or AI to govern the world. It can just be used as a currency for digital payments, as a ledger for storing transactions and for few other things. Dreaming that Bitcoin will become the world currency is something that I don't see possible and even if it ever happened than it will take few decades before that is even a possibility.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: April 25, 2018, 02:48:30 AM
Mining isn't for small players anymore and if you don't have the capital to run it at large numbers I don't think you should waste your time trying to mine, unless of course if you want to do it as a hobby. You are better off just buying them of exchangers, as that is much less hassle and you wont be paying too much extra money that way.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: April 20, 2018, 04:38:54 PM
When someone says bitcoins is number one than it is meant for many things let it be in terms of market cap or in terms of it having the most following and community members or it having the most number of crypto developers working for it. Currently I don't think many coins can compete with Bitcoin.
388  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Twitter indefinitely suspends FreeBitcoins.com handle. on: April 20, 2018, 04:12:32 PM
Twitter also banned the bitcoin handle recently and this looks like an assault on the crypto world now and twitter is likely going hard on all the free and scammy looking crypto related users on its platforms, as many newbies are getting scammed and losing huge amounts of money.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - a short pullback or a long-term bottom? on: April 20, 2018, 04:02:22 PM
The recent rise in prices could also be due to the selling pressure decreasing due to tax season getting over. Also if we pump above $10k than we could very likely enter the bull cycle again and leave the bear phase behind us. Lets hope this isn't a bull trap and Bitcoin market is entering a bull period.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a better payment system? on: April 20, 2018, 09:24:00 AM
Bitcoin is a better payment system in few things while not so good in few. E.g., if you want to send large amounts of money to someone than it wouldn't cost more than few dollars to transfer that amount while with the banks it would take high fees and charges. And in the contrary bitcoin is currently not that good to handle large amounts of transactions, although development is being done to fix that.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin owner die. It means bitcoin also lost forever? on: April 20, 2018, 09:13:07 AM
Yes you are right. This is kind of an advantage and disadvantage of bitcoin. Disadvantage that you will lose your coins if you forget its password and advantage for the rest as that amount of coins get reduced from the circulation and thus the selling pressure is reduced. Thats why its very important to always keep your private keys and password safe.
392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Total Supply is Really 21Million? on: April 20, 2018, 09:05:25 AM
Even if few hundred thousand bitcoins are lost forever there is still enough supply of Bitcoins that it wont be scarce. Also think of the lost bitcoins as a decrease in selling pressure as they would had been sold at one point but they wont be sold anymore as they are lost. All these things have been thought about too much before being finalized.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility of Bitcoin's value to be zero on: April 20, 2018, 08:59:01 AM
Looks like this is your first bear cycle. What makes you think that the price will go down to zero from thousands of dollars per bitcoin. Even if the blockchain or the bitcoin network gets hacked there is the option of hard forks which will prevent bitcoin from tumbling down to zero. So I'm pretty sure that the price would at least not drop to zero.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: April 19, 2018, 06:41:13 PM
I really am afraid of hackers. I ordered 2 ledgers fortunately.  I've been scammed a lot, at least not hacked personally but I've read about the hacker tactics and they are scary.

I heard that hackers often approach someone and ask personal questions and they use that to hack, isntead of some crazy firewall evading.
395  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need DT, 20 accounts connected (2 Legendary, 6 Hero, 7 St + some) on: April 19, 2018, 06:29:39 PM
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it!
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again? on: April 19, 2018, 05:06:15 PM
Yes Bitcoin will rise again but after dropping down to a low point as its reached its ATH and the market needs to correct now. And the reason why bitcoin will rise again is cause new money will be entering the market when the hype starts to build up again and the bitcoins become more scarce.
397  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need DT, 20 accounts connected (2 Legendary, 6 Hero, 7 St + some) on: April 19, 2018, 04:05:21 PM
I made a new account and messaged Msile (this account) literally this
I assume you only used the new account to send that PM. Can you give me access to that temporary account, to verify the PM was really sent on March 8?

I'm not trying to steal your Newbie account, I'm trying to help you here. As much as I love catching cheaters, if you're really innocent you shouldn't be tagged red. If you take this offer, don't use a password on that account that you use anywhere else.

Note that it will still be up to The Pharmacist to remove your red trust (or not).
I'd be interested to see what the result of this is.
Thank you so much for being open to change your mind. Sorry if I spammed you, I was just very upset how the hacker fucked me over double and I can't stand it when I'm telling the truth and someone doesn't believe me.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: April 19, 2018, 03:58:22 PM
If you look at the credit and debit card usage growth rate than yeah you can say that bitcoin or some crypto currency could replace conventional money. But it will take few decades before that happens as most of the transactions need to go digital before this would be possible. Also bitcoin needs to be able to handle that level of transactions.

Yeah that sounds fine, it's actually a junior member (which was also required to message msile).

I really am innocent and I really thank you for the trouble even if it fails!!! I can also just forward it but let me change my password now.
400  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need DT, 20 accounts connected (2 Legendary, 6 Hero, 7 St + some) on: April 19, 2018, 10:49:33 AM
how I got it back is a strange story that no one would believe.
Do tell!.....
Okay I'm going to tell it....

Very strange story but keeps up the facts. The Pharmacist is a serious and honest member. I think he will take your case into consideration if you provide hard proofs and that are the keys from the broken computer. Just repair and let him see that you are the real owner of this account. This will be even worth to pay only to extract the keys if there is no way to repair.

Wish you luck.
I don't think the problem is that he doesn't believe me to be the original owner. I can send emails from the original email to prove that now, (which was leaked in the database, 4ryan42@gmail.com

I think he wants prove that it wasn't me that participated with the other accuonts in that bounty campaign and I really think can't think of a way to prove that, but thanks for your help!

I should repair my broken computer regardless, it still has some other coins on it IIRC.
