381  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a 2.00 Paypal Loan on: November 16, 2015, 06:25:39 PM
@V.Lace I would simply advise you to stop borrowing from this forum. The lenders are over the top unreasonable and have a hoard of sig boosting trolls interfering.

Let's be honest for a minute shall we? There are three types posting here.....people called honorable lenders who are demanding outrageous rates that would get them thrown into prison for breaking usury laws, the second group are outright scammers, and the third class is honest people needing a few bucks for a while.

The scammers are just scammers and that doesn't need to be discussed.

The lenders are offering to make a loan, which over the internet can be considered high risk, but they are demanding high risk rewards without taking ANY risks! They demand collateral that far exceeds the loan in case you "default". Obviously they know jackshit about lending to make money. If you are going to make a high risk loan and get high risk rewards, then stick the collateral and other hoops you want people to jump through up your........You can't have it both ways. Either loan at normal rates with normal securities in place, OR make higher risk loans that offer higher rewards. Stop the stupid shit of asking insane rates on guaranteed loans FFS.

Thank you Xardas and Seoincorporation, they show there is some people with humility, morals and good sense of judgement.  We all have to be aware of scammers as this forum is filled with them but just cause evil outweighs the good, does not mean you have to join that side to do good.
Humility is not a label ever given to me unless it is in jest lol. I'm perfect in ever possible way except for one minor flaw.....I'm MUCH too humble Wink

I find it amusing mexxer can't resist but to post in threads he wouldn't fund. I suppose he has anointed himself as the loan police.

A couple of wise comments spring to mind:

  • This subforum has an exceptionally high amount of trolling. Legitimate lendees are scared away or simply don't care to subject themselves to unjustified degradation. Skepticism is okay, but please try to be civil. Either way - if you request a loan, be prepared.
  • Almost all loans issued in this subforum would be at rates considered to be exploitative
384  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $10 BTC loan - thanks in advance on: November 16, 2015, 07:57:55 AM
Being suspicious is one thing, being over the top paranoid is another. If you can't evaluate a man and take him at his word or not, especially over ten bucks, then you don't need to be giving loans.
Ha! Welcome to the internet. If you start giving loan to every sob story or such, you'll end up being a beggar. Not that different from the real world though.
If they repaid me I kept a good customer, if they didn't I got rid of an idiot. Win-Win Wink
You do realize that people can come up with various usernames right? And that accounts are bought and sold over time.
Anyway seeing this line in OP
I am hoping that I can build trust on bitcointalk.org for future transactions as I am pretty new here. Thanks in advance!
I'm wondering if you are an alt of OP or if you bought this account just for gags(looking at the post history), and if(really low chances of this one) you are as [insert a less hateful version of stupid here] as I imagine you to be.
P.S: Either way, OP seems to have gotten a lender, lock this thread(lower left corner "Lock topic")
I see. In your world anyone asking for even a tiny loan is to be distrusted and anyone that questions your assessment is stupid and is an alt. The sheer narrowness of your mind astounds me. Sure, people buy accounts, sure people scam, other have only one account and pay their loans without problem. To lump them all into the suspicious category is..well....ignorant.
385  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $10 BTC loan - thanks in advance on: November 16, 2015, 07:32:09 AM
I realize I'm not involved here, but don't you think it is a bit silly to be requiring collateral, escrow, and loan reasons? It is $10 FFS. It's not even two beers at the pub. 10 btc I could understand heightened security, but not $10.
You do realize that its real money right? People here have scammed for less than $0.2, now I don't know what thats in your book but in mine, it calls for suspicion for every loan.
@OP you might be considered for that loan if you give your account as collateral.
Of course I realize it is real money. You just don't seem to realize it is not much of it. Being suspicious is one thing, being over the top paranoid is another. If you can't evaluate a man and take him at his word or not, especially over ten bucks, then you don't need to be giving loans.

I owned a bar for many years and had countless people need 5 bucks until tomorrow. I'd loan it to anyone that asked. If they repaid me I kept a good customer, if they didn't I got rid of an idiot. Win-Win Wink

@seattlenonsmoker if you still need the loan send me a PM Wink

Biggest bunch of morons I've ever encountered.........and I don't mean Cryptsy
389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 23, 2015, 05:11:48 AM

What other altcoin exchanges do you guys recommend?

bittrex.com
c-cex.com
yobit.net
poloniex.com
bter.com
cryptopia.co.nz

In no particular order although bittrex actually does belong at the top of that list.

It's a shame Bittrex doesn't accept gambling related coins. I contacted yobit to get CSC listed there. This platform seems interesting.
I haven't talked to Richie in a month or two, so I don't know if your claim is true, BUT if it is, then you should remove Bittrex from your list. The crypto community doesn't want or need people randomly censoring coins.

I only had about half of the required minimum to withdraw btc. I sent .005 then withdrew the .01 using a free withdrawal. Went through without a problem.
391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 20, 2015, 01:08:49 AM
Well Steve if you ask me I think people should make a mass exodus from Cryptsy over to Cryptopia Wink The site is run better, has a shitload of coins, and support is excellent.

xpool sends inaccurate data to poolpicker. Several times I've seen it reporting stupid high figures that get adjusted the next day. Yesterday for example was over 0.00032 and wound up actually being 0.00013336 right now it is showing over 0.00019 and that will most likely be under 0.00013. I'll just stick with prohashing, thank you very much.

EDIT: Coinplorer replied and removed Minerslab

ROI With Scrypt.cc In 60 Days

... for ltcgear scam info just read all the other pages

ROI 60 days LOL

Seriously? Making advertising for another ponzi (very very very scammy apperience. No media footage (not paid one), no pictures of possible farm)

Why screwing other? Just for money? thats bad. shame on you.

Scrypt.cc could be another scam, but in all honesty it really doesn't seem like it. The owner isn't even taking money from customers at the moment, and hasn't taken any for a good while. But payouts come thick and fast. Seems really good so far.. As always, don't risk more than you can afford to lose and DYOR but, for me, it looks more stable than LTCG ever did.
While it might no appear he is taking money directly, him doing sales in the "trade" area are a possibility
