384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Citibank set to destroy Bitcoin with Citicoin on: July 28, 2015, 02:55:12 PM
Maybe they just want to create a new derivative, not really a coin at all, but just a new speculative instrument, to play around with.

The derivative industry is a 1.6 quadrillion $ bubble, 1 more derivative in plus doesn't even count Cheesy
as i told before i think it will be just some "play coins" which you can use to buy knifes at a discount price , like at the gas stations lol
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: July 28, 2015, 02:54:03 PM
Nah i dont think so.
Millions of people have invested on bitcoin.
Hardly an other coin will replace it.
Yeah, you are right.Until even bitcoin can't hit a stabile price with stabil crowd, we cant even dream about replacing btc.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: relationship of bitcoin prices and mining price on: July 28, 2015, 02:52:19 PM
There's no relation between Bitcoin prices and mining prices.
Bitcoin prices are based on market trading volume and on the mood of Whales.
But the mining prices are based on network difficulty.
Ah, think about it a little bit more.  here's a little example. If electricity would cost 10 usd/hour and for miners would mine a btc in like 50 hours how could they sell it for less than 500 usd? And in this case we can't even speak about breakeven
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Pump Group Altpump announcement on: July 28, 2015, 02:49:06 PM
35 btc is enough for nothing. Many times when a coin hits an exchange you can observe that the volume is more than 1000 btc or so
Its actually plenty for medium sized coins
i can't agree with you on this.Even shitty , z category coins hit the market with 500btc+
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like we found Globalcoin Dev on: July 28, 2015, 02:47:04 PM

389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2015 and WHY on: July 28, 2015, 02:46:44 PM
Over 1400 BTC worth in CNY were invested in NXT during the last day - again, causing Nxt to jump up a few places on Coinmarketcap.com. I don't know why the chinese are buying into Nxt ATM, maybe they know something we don't!?
nxt devs are just developing right now the anonyimity of nxt
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DASH a better alternative to Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2015, 02:45:03 PM
In dash network all transaction are really anonymous and this is a final purpose of BTC project . i think dash and monero are best of alternatives ....
Only because of anonymity?

394  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 28, 2015, 02:38:09 PM
bitcoin is not dead and still alive until now even bitcoin price is pretty low now not but more people interested to use bitcoin everyday ,and it is keeping bitcoin still alive maybe in the next 10 years
I think not only 10 years, maybe it still alive after 50 years. Because its so very useful in people and if its become the world currency, many countries can grow their economy in just one 1 using bitcoin, it can greatly affect the transaction speed.
still too early to speculate bitcoin can alive up to 50 years, because 50 years is a very long while bitcoin is still 6 years of age while the selling price is also up and down
Atm, bitcoin need stability, and imo stability can be earned only by adoption. So for me this seems like to be a huge monsterball
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - New Update 0.6.42 - Please Update Your Nodes on: July 28, 2015, 02:36:29 PM
My last comment on the sock puppet story:
BloodyRookie explained it already very good. There is no 100% fairness if you don't have 100% of the needed information. Thus, compromises had to be accepted. Everybody with an IQ above 60 will understand this.

I feel sorry for all the people who lost a stake because of a false-positive analysis result (wrongly classified as sock).
I also feel sorry for all stakeholders because of false-negative analysis results (wrongly NOT classified as socks), because this makes the NEM distribution a little bit poorer and therefore all stakeholders suffer from it.

Did those false-positive accounts had any chance to prove their identity or something?
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AXIOM] CPU Only AxiomMemHash + SHABAL-256 - Schnorr Sigs - POW - DPOS - Bittrex on: July 28, 2015, 02:33:58 PM

400  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to send an invalid transaction for testing purposes? on: July 24, 2015, 07:14:23 AM
How could I send an invalid transaction—for testing purposes, such as with testnet or regtest?

For example, I would like to to try to double-spend, spend non existent coins, etc.

(cf. the related Bitcoin StackExchange question.)
Yeah, sure . For testing purposes Cheesy
