I think the team might need to make a new moderated thread. I've seen many other coins creating new threads.
In this thread we have two accounts relentlessly FUDDING in an exaggerated way, with an adolescence style. The last few pages have been dominated by them. One of them a new account with so far 24 total posts, all FUD all in this thread. Does not even have one comment anywhere else. Obviously determined to FUD this coin hard. And these are not reasonable legit comments. It's all, "Scam, scam, you going to lose your money. Hahaha, you all lose money, noob."
Relentless FUD is a very effective way to hurt the price, just how coordinated pumping also dupes people. So I think creating a new moderated thread is something that the team should consider. Their agenda is probably to have people here sell their coins for cheap to them. Else what kind of loser would spend all of their time doing this?
Moderated topic is one possibility, but as much that i want to see those trolls, fud and bots disappear, someone would have to do that moderating job, and that takes time. Moderated topic? Ok. DECENT is trying to build exposure around the globe in whatever relates to content creation and distribution. It is important that those initiatives are focused in generation of value to DCT too.
Dct price is going to be under $0.2 now as bitcoin goes down. Next under $0.1? Dct team seems to disappoint investors and test patience. Nobody knows how low will Bitcoin and other altcoin are going to fall. Soon miners will even stop their rigs if they would be operating at a loss. Selling or holding are the only options you have for the mean time. Dct team is doing well? Bitcoin is up , dct is down. Bitcoin is down, dct is also down. So dct is under 3000 sat. But nobody buy dct coin, only sell dct. In spite of this situation, dct telegram say they are doing well and work hard. |

DECENT project has very strong team of developers, good marketting strategies, smart promotional campaigns, and very clearly potential plans for near future developements. I understand your frustration, but if you want to win this trade try to be patient. If you're anxious about DCT future, try to join telegram and ask their admins whatever you wish. Price is near all time low, so it's very probable it will bounce soon. Good, answer, not sure about the price though, i mean it's a low cap but could always go lower. Anyway, this is a platform to build on to. And they have just starting Alax on it. That's marketing, and a very good start. Not sure how else one could market this, running hackathons is a one way to seek people to find use cases for it. But the platform is always useless if no one is building on to it, or if it's too difficult to build on to. If the dct team can not build a useful platform, the dct coin will be a scam. At current dct pricing trends, it may be dumped below $ 0.10. The biggest problem with the dct team is that most investors sell dct coin. The longer you keep your dct coin, the bigger the losses. Hey man, do you realize that you're complaining about amazing buying opportunity? It's almost a sin not to take advantage of such... ehm... low price. DCT is a great, working tech. Transactions are very quick, github code and documentation are very good, team is expanding constantly and overall everything's looking pretty serious and good. Decentralized storage, IPFS and related stuff are buzz words of near future. Price is like this because overall situation in crypto world. Too much "investors" got burned by buying tops last December. Also, bittrex lost a lot of volume because of restrictions and binance. I think that team is taking a good approach by maintaining hackathons and not paying for exchange listings. Hackathons are good for creation of new startups on the top of DCT tech and overall development of ecosystem. Paying for exchange listings is bad because that usually cost alot of money and received value is questionable and obviously short term. Year ago Poloniex was the main exchange, then Bittrex, now Binance... tomorrow something new? decentralized exchange? who knows... Best thing to do now is buy some and wait for SDK release. DCT needs user friendly software development kit, newbie tutorials and some good apps to serve as examples what can be achieved using DCore tech. if you buy dct coin low price you think, dct coin is going to dump amazing price tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow dct price will dump again half price you bought. |

The value of DECENT shot up two months ago after being around these levels previously four months ago, if the value didn't shoot up two months ago then the price would not seem like it has dropped that much compared to other alts. It's all about noticing the cycles, selling when the value is going up otherwise you'll have to hold through a bear market. I've been doing this 5 years now and the only way you lose money is by selling when the price drops, eventually there will be no sellers left and a DECENT bull run will begin probably with most other alts as well. If you are really unhappy with your investment in DECENT my advice is stop looking at the markets in the short-term and focus on medium or even long term which might be years from now. I wouldn't say I'm deceiving anyone, people that take trading advice from random people on the internet probably aren't the brightest anyway. The team is still on target with their roadmap and by the GitHub things are progressing nicely, in crypto things always take time. Many cryptos have taken years to reach a high market cap, DECENT could be the same.

Agreed, the cycles are usually very similar but never exactly the same. This time round the ATL of DECENT could be 2k sat, nobody knows for sure but then the ATH could be 50k sat.
