Es gibt keine XCP Blockchain, es existiert einfach auf der Bitcoin blockchain wie andere transaktionen auch. Ja. Aber in dem Fall ging es um die reduktion von OP_RETURN speicher in Transaktionen. Counterparty braucht diesen speicher nicht um zu funktionieren, aber es waere eine bessere Loesung fuer das Protokol (rein von einer software perspektive). Wer selber programmiert und sich das github von Counterpartyd anschaut, merkt schnell dass es simple, fair, und robust ist. Counterparty ist Bitcoin + finanzmarkt + neue funktionen. So wie Bitcoin den Wert von Prozessorleistung uebersteigt, uebersteigt Counterparty den Wert von Bitcoin, obwohl es eigentlich nur ein Teil davon ist. Der Wert der neuen Moeglichkeiten uebersteigt bereits jetzt den benuetzten Speicher. Mit Counterparty kann man sogar Sportwetten abschliessen: http://xbet.io Und das 100% auf der Bitcoin blockchain! I am fully aware of the benefits of a decentralized exchange. However, when I log into counterwallet.co, you cannot tell any information about the business's listed / no orderbook. This blockscan site is not mentioned anywhere, and appears to be loaded with a bunch of holder assets just reserving the names.
The orderbook is available under "VIEW PRICES" if you enter asset names, although it is being currently updated. New features are always being added. The counterparty protocol itself is feature-complete. The Counterparty developers focused on first and foremost security, reliability, consensus of the core specification, as well as elegant code. Unfortunately the GUI interfaces have not reached this level of development yet. In time, I'm sure the wallets will have reached the same standard as the client itself. As was the case with Bitcoin. Anyway, because the system is not centrally managed, the information about the businesses listed is up to the businesses themselves, they should link to a website or have a description. It is best to link them to a specific page: http://yourdomain.com/blah.html, which also mentions the ASSET. Reposting this on other platforms, signed for authentication, can help establish the link beween ASSET and holder. |

Its a terrible format for investors, can't see any information on assets other than last bid / sell price (No orderbook!). Currently its worse than BitcoinBourse. And thats saying a lot. Has great potential, but I won't be using it the way it looks. How are you supposed to be able to do due diligence with 0 information!

I've personally avoided all cryptoequity / securities and crowdfunds, because I couldn't trust a centralized website like MtGox.... But really, now that we have an open-source decentralized system, it would make sense for Bitcoiners to switch. Crowdfunding with BTC is exactly the same as crowdfunding with XCP because of Vennd. Vennd also allows for very easy crowdfunding in other currencies besides XCP. While your point held true a month ago, that is no longer the case. To be clear: Funding a project with BTC is *exactly* the same as funding it with XCP. Neither coin is easier or harder to fund a project with, the process is the same for BTC and XCP through the use of Vennd. Vennd: http://www.vennd.io/I had not considered Vennd in my reasoning. Questions.
1) Is the supply of 2,649,243 XCP fixed, ie it can never be increased?
2) When issuing an asset 0.5 XCP is burned. Is this amount hard-coded or can it be reduced/increased at a later point?
3) It seems to me there's a risk of running out of XCP at some point. Are there mechanisms to prevent this from happening?
1. The supply is fixed 2. This can be changed 3. XCP is slightly deflationary. As XCP are pulled from circulation, the remaining XCP will be worth more. Running out is not an issue as XCP can be divided into as many pieces as are required. This leads to an obvious price increase. I mean from a rationally point of view, XCP is one of the best cryptocurrency investments possible... It's deflationary, cannot be mined, and uses the Bitcoin network. And as someone else said, crowdfunding using XCP is much smoother than with BTC. This is also why NICEPLUM is actually funded with XCP. |

A great addition to the betting functionality would be for users to set up arbitrary bets, such as predictions. Xbet is a great idea but I think your logo is a bit too dark. Maybe make it green and increase the font size. Or make it entirely white. Also try to clear up the audio on the video a bit, and then it would be good to upload it to Youtube, Vimeo, Liveleak, and all the other pages as well. |

We're not claiming a technical first. We have been planning this for the last two months and talking about it publicly for the past two weeks, the asset wasn't even registered until after the fundraiser started. So you can have the 'first embedded in the blockchain' until you find somebody who beat you and didn't do anything with it either Tatiana started accepting funds before you did, she just chose to pursue a model that issues the tokens at the end rather than the beginning. Congrats on your coin though, I've bought several batches Thanks for the support!  And yes, I prefered to do the fundraiser entirely over Counterparty by issuing the assets in advance. Privacy in Counterparty is really important.
Like with bitcoin, we don't want people to know how many dividends we earned and which assets we are holding, or even trades strategy on each asset, etc
So a mixer or other privacy system is a big improvement, or requirement.
