381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: eUtopium ∞ [UPM] Fair Distribution. Social Enterprise. Knowledge. Education. on: August 01, 2014, 01:03:21 AM
Maybe this has been stated previously or I am not interpreting things properly. When do we start getting coins for mining? Right now we are making .00000001 each block which doesn't seem right. Most were actually 0. What is the block reward distribution as I am thoroughly confused? Don't refer me to the charts on the OP as this seems like Greek-Mandarin...

Block rewards don't begin until block 1001.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pool advertising is no longer allowed on: July 31, 2014, 08:14:48 PM
So if a pool owner posts his pool in a thread... he will get banned??  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

How about limiting that post too 1 in each announcement thread?

Im really sorry I have too say this... But this is NOT the priority you should be looking at right now with all those scamcoins around these days..

People lose money everyday over scams...

But instead of helping the community, by setting stricter rules for coin announcements on here... you worry about poolowners who advertise their pools...

I really cant understand this... Sorry Undecided

+1 Pool ops need to be allowed to post at least ONCE on a thread, if it's more than one post then treat it as Spam and punish it, but doing this you're only affecting our jobs. Please reconsider this decision.

Agree 1000%!!!  Pool operators need to be able to post once in a thread.  Even if it's just stating that their pool is up and running.

sell walls becoming stronger...........  Huh

no inovation  or  news  from DEV............ Cry

the PR guy hired is just probably  a "Fairy Tale".... Undecided

some one create  buy suport  to keep people buying on the moon..... Cool

after that retrieve  buy support.... and BOOM  50 SATOSHI Shocked Shocked Shocked

Lets stay cool and wait for the dev. Verything until now very clean and he also worked yesterday to get to bittrx i think. So he has not to be all time online if he works in background.

Actually i had sent many messages to Bittrex and they didn't replied at all! I heard from someone else they listed RVC.

Besides, Jake wrote that Provenceday isn't part if the project, which is kind of strange since Walhalla asked me to list him too and both names were in the OP for at least a week. It doesn't matter too much since I have access to the IPO funds, but i will wait for their reply on this issue.

Good to see you dev.

LOL, sell me all your coins, I'll be happy to take them off your hands.  I've had no issues with the anonymity, it's working perfect over here.

Same here.  Funny how sixteendigits posted in that thread also. He's the guy that dumped all his coins at 2k. He must've gone nuts when it hit 14k right after.  lol.

haha, was thinking the same thing.  He has good reason to be mad.  It's funny how people always try to bring a coin down after they sell out.

it was just a testrun, and someone is buying everyhing up under 5-5,5 k i think Smiley

haha, yup, definitely a test pump. If someone wanted to, the price could have been pushed a LOT higher with minimal effort.  Big boys are stocking up for Round 2.

392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]-QUID X11 Bittrex NO Premine NO IPO POW/POS 8% on: July 31, 2014, 04:01:17 PM
Looks like good news , We will have a lower than expected coin count at the end of POW , we had projected 10mil coins in circulation at the end of POW  But based on new projections this will likely be closer to 5-6 Million.   At last count wallet shows wea are at "blocks" : 5819, with a current Moneysupply" : 2860235.94128701,  so more than 1/2 way through POW and 2.8 Mil  in circulation  .  So we are projecting 5-6  mil at end of POW . This is of course a projection and may change based on how many people are staking and how much is held on exchange wallets but will clearly be lower than  our initial 10 mil project .....making your QUID more rare and more valuable long term.

Good deal, less is always more....$$$ Grin
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pool advertising is no longer allowed on: July 31, 2014, 02:54:17 PM
I am not a pool OP and have no intentions to become one.  I still think this rule is mostly unjustified because if I wanted to mine a coin, I usually look at the advertisements on the thread.  I rarely look at the OP because the dev usually never updates the post.  I think pools should be allowed one post in the thread that advertises their pool, but then the rest of the rules can be followed.

Pool owners are still allowed to create a thread in the alt mining section.
There is also the signature space.

This is NOT a solution.  When a coin launches miners want to know what pools are available for THAT SPECIFIC COIN.  Why should someone have to go to the mining section and look through each post to see if they can find a pool that happens to be set up for a coin they are interested in mining?  The information they are looking for is not about the pool, it is about the COIN.  Therefore, the information should be posted in the COIN thread.  I am not a pool operator, but I am really frustrated by this new rule.

397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SDC] ShadowCoin | PoS with PoW distribution | No premine, No IPO on: July 31, 2014, 01:23:10 AM
Bittrex admins have been really busy lately, so at the request of some SDC investors, I decided to check Shadowcoin's code and offer my them opinion.

First of all the dev seems very competent, I can't find any issues or missed edits that he hasn't already fixed.

The code itself looks good, there are no hidden blocks or other tricks, it's clean and straightforward.

The biggest problem I've seen in POW --> POS coins is not having a POS checkpointing server set up properly (I've fixed 5 or 6 other coins with this issue.)  Shadowcoin has a proper functioning POS checkpointing server and the POW end code is correct also.

Everything looks good to me.

Great news, thanks for popping in and sharing.
