Looking on those images and on their faces seems like they are really interested in Bitcoin, I'm glad about that. Keep up the good work!

Maybe can you share for us how the seminar went? Like the topics, you gave to them and some questions and answers, that would be appreciated especially on someone who is planning to do also some seminar like that (like me).

Starting a seminar with a small group of people is good especially if your listeners are interested and willing to learn about Bitcoin.

We started from what bitcoin is, we told them how bitcoin helps users connect in a peer to peer way. We also told them the story of how bitcoin price grew and told them that it's volatile too (both in negative and positive ways).

They asked a few questions because we spoke much enough for them. One asked about if the currency can't be seen with the eye, another asked how it can be sold for fiat.

One of the things that marveled me is that one of them told me that he knew about bitcoin in the past but never paid much attention. He even told me that he had created a bitcoin wallet back then. However, due to this meeting of ours, he's back on the cryptocurrency track! 😍

Do you mind describing to us what most of their views are concerning bitcoin?

Are they mostly interested in the technology? As a hedge or a sort of savings account? As an investment? A trading vehicle? or what?

Tho they didn't table their intentions clearly, I'm sure that all of them like bitcoin as a means of payment.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 06:33:59 AM
Wow! That is amazing.

I wouldn't be able to do that since I would be really nervous. Even though they are my friends, I would be really nervous. The courage to give people some information about it is great, hope a lot of people could also do that. I think in our country that would be hard since we are talking about Bitcoin and they will be looking at it as a scam.

Lol, one of them also made it look like a scam. However, I told everyone that I would be explaining every single thing.
And at the closing, it ended well ♥
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 05:40:25 AM
one day bitcoin will be recognized by itself even without being promoted, in the social media group that I joined, almost nobody even promoted the introduction of bitcoin, but its members continue to grow, but if anyone wants to promote bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will develop faster.

But be you aware that if we don't promote it, that day may never come.

Shouldn't you blur their faces for the same reason?

Anyway, looks like you're talking to people on their early 20s or teenager (if my sight doesn't lie). Are they showing a good interest in blockchain or crypto in general and want to pursue a career in those fields?

I get your point. Maybe I should have blured their faces. However, I'm certain all that Cam be seen is their face without their names and personal info. Same case if someone posts my picture.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 02:25:19 AM
It hasn't been easy for me lately because I'm a student. However, I find time to make a way for bitcoin promotion. Today, after classes, tho the place wasn't very convenient, I and a friend of mine held a seminar in which we talked to about 10 or more people about bitcoin. We also elaborated to them about the disadvantages and advantages involved in crypto.
Also, a WhatsApp group was created so as To Help them with anything that seems confusing. Of course, they already have their wallets installed! ♥

Lol.... My head was aching before and after the seminar. However, we had to hold it!
At least with this example, others (including you) would do their best to promote bitcoin and the blockchain technology.

Also, I'll be posting how you can conduct Your Own seminar for those who have that interest. Let me get well first.🙂

According to the article campaign section, only 50 participants are needed. Are these 50 slots occupied? Cause I want to participate.

What if I told you that Barry's story is just a little miracle? And what if I told you that you "could" be more successful than Barry?
Don't doubt me. If bitcoin which originated at 0.08$ reached 19,000$ in just 10 years, then what's impossible? The blockchain technology is real! Bitcoin is real! Let's all enjoy it's advantage now! Bitcoin is for us!
To know more about bitcoin, kindly research more to see how well you can benefit from it. Lest I forget, bitcointalk.org is the oldest bitcoin related platform. Just in case you're new to this, you can ask me, or you can ask questions on the bitcointalk forum. You'll get answers from the family.

I posted this on medium in other to at least inspire people more. You can find it here. https://link.medium.com/mP5nlK5mu3

I'll still keep doing what I can to help people understand the benefits of bitcoin and the blockchain technology.... Do yours too. 😉
Look, I support the idea of encouraging people, but I don't think this is a good way to do it. You're basically telling people to buy Bitcoin for profit. That sounds like financial advice, while any such decisions should be made individually by those who own the money, and it's also not what Bitcoin is really about. Moreover, when 'Barry' was earning cryptos, he was not risking anything he already had, right? He either got nothing or won. If one buys Bitcoin, however, this person does not earn it in any way and does not even increase its amount (because it's not PoS) unless by trading which requires even more skills.
Finally, I think that stressing on the profitability of Bitcoin makes it look even more suspicious to people who are new to it.
Nevertheless, I guess it's better to do something rather than nothing, so it's good that you're doing it.

Thanks.... I've taken corrections 😎. I appreciate your involvement in the post. And I'll keep the promotion of bitcoin up and burning!!

Barry was barely 35 years old when his wife gave birth to their second child. He was married to Eliza who was a teacher is a nearby government school. Barry was a Contract staff. He lost his job a few months before the birth of his second child. Barry once attended a blockchain meeting in which bitcoin and the blockchain technology was introduced to him. Unlike every other person, Barry had a good android device. While he was looking for a new job, he was researching more and even more. With time, he became conversant with bitcoin, the blockchain technology and of course, some other alt coins. He then proceeded by doing tasks as a bounty hunter. In about one week, he received his first payment in bitcoin. He was really pleased and very happy. Tho they were some disadvantages attached, He and his wife starting enjoying/benefiting from bitcoin and the blockchain technology and in about half a year, Barry's consistency earned him thousands of dollars.

What if I told you that Barry's story is just a little miracle? And what if I told you that you "could" be more successful than Barry?

391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Poem on: January 19, 2020, 03:51:18 PM
Wow amazing. Great idea. Job well done for you my friend. Your poem is good. You made my night truly. When I read your poem I got inspired and motivated thank you for posting such a wonderful poem for us. I think you should post more inspirational and motivitational peoms about crypto and also I am suggesting that you should post it on your social media for the people to be aware about the cryptocurrency.

Thank you too for reading it. Actually, I do write about bitcoin and some altcoins too. Besides, I talk about btc all day (both to friends and online). Thanks!
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Poem on: January 19, 2020, 03:20:19 PM
Great poem, Chris! Brought me a lot of nostalgy and regret because I was not aware of the technology at that time. I'm sure that the information was on the internet then, I just had to search for it.
I do think you can continue writing the story of Bitcoin in a more "official" way like I'd suggest you to make a medium post or a blog and continuously update it, maybe with reference to the other altcoins as well. I'm sure it is going to get some "love" from the crypto communities out there.

Great idea. Well, I'll just have to think deeply about it cause it requires a lot of work to maintain something than to own it. I'm glad you considered the poem to be great!
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Poem on: January 19, 2020, 03:18:56 PM
Your poem is very interesting and i'm really liked your poem. Cheesy

Thanks a lot. Had to put a lot of thinking, words and more to create it. I'm glad you liked it after all.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My Bitcoin Poem on: January 19, 2020, 08:26:17 AM
My heart skipped before posting this poem
However, I'm not hemmed. 🙂

Wasn't it about 10 years ago when it all emerged?
Bitcoin couldn't make any glow, and It wasn't a mere research,
Satoshi was brave.
So brave to hang onto his digital currency of 1 cent.
I'm sure many people thought that it was just a bluff.
Hence the journey made to achieve this great success was tough.
In about two months, the price made an increase.
And guess what, the increase never ceased.

It wasn't up to a year after launch,
Bitcoin set off to 1 dollar, but maybe Satoshi had that hunch.
The movement was obviously more than an inch.
Investors then came with their monies,
Hoping to get milk and honey when the fate they predicted comes in.
Just a few months after that punch,
It was now getting adopted as it moved up to thirty dollars.
In fact, the increase in price was as fast as an helicopter.

I still recall how the first bitcoin transaction was made.
It was done by a bitcointalk user, and I'll tell you about it in this my ode.
He asked for a pizza delivery in exchange for a handful of bitcoins.
Within 4 days, someone delivered the pizza to him and got the 10,000 coins.

Today, the 1 cent dollar bitcoin is worth over 1000 dollars.
This is a result of working hard, and even harder.
Promoting bitcoin and the blockchain technology
And now everyother cryptocurrency is a wannabe BTCitcoin.

What do you think about the poem?

I'm thankful to everyone for their contribution. I've seen your thoughts and your ideas. At least I'm sure I got more than one idea now. 😉
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin ideas do you have? Share it! on: January 19, 2020, 06:54:10 AM
If I was told to look for ideas to spread crypto, then I would like to have a "Crypto Introduction apps". Especially applications for smartphone users. Maybe with the application, it will make it easier for people to learn and understand what crypto is.

Thanks!!! I love this idea. I'm currently trying to learn programming. Once I'm good at it, I can do something like that. Even if it'll take my time I'll make it free. Thanks once more.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin ideas do you have? Share it! on: January 19, 2020, 06:42:08 AM
wow  .  you are one kind of person because you help btc and this btc comunity to grow in your little way  . you must be free or dont have other important things to do outside because i can see that you can dedicate quality time to promote bitcoin  . how i wish that other non working people can be like you . instead of wasting thier times on unimportant things like playing video games  and watching cat videos , why can they just use that time to help btc and the btc comunity grow more  ? i would be more thankful with them  .

Lol.... I have other things to do. In fact, I'm a student. However, I still find a way to create time for bitcoin; it's for "us"!🙂
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What bitcoin ideas do you have? Share it! on: January 16, 2020, 08:42:14 PM
About 2 days ago, I made a thread encouraging us all to "Promote bitcoin....... It is for "us". I actually do my best to promote the platform and even about 10 mins ago, I helped someone sign up here on the BTT forum (I'll be tutoring him too).

However, on the thread I made lately, someone made a comment that inspired me more. Actually, I've always aspired to promote bitcoin in a bigger way (irrespective of the unavailable funds); by offering some services the average citizen of any country needs and requiring bitcoin as a means of payment. Or making people offer services and get paid in bitcoin.
Anything else is cool. I just want to hear your opinion. Someone else will need it too.

Most times we have these ideas deep down in us but we tend to hold it but we forget that speaking up is also a way of promoting bitcoin.
Let's all speak up!
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 16, 2020, 07:07:47 AM
It is indeed for us, but it's becoming a difficult task when we there are few available merchants accepting Bitcoin as of today. SMEs cannot be forced to adopt to accept Bitcoin as payment. Even how much people like to 'use' it in daily transactions, it's quite difficult.

Adoption for me should start on the larger companies. Once these international businesses adopt cryptocurrencies, smaller businesses would adopt too, which would actually make it possible for us to 'use' cryptocurrencies as a payment, which is its original objective.

No. Take a good look at what Laszlo did. That's a good example. After all, he wasn't  a large company. He was just an individual. 🤷‍♂

There are some things about bitcoin that large companies can't explain. That's why we as individuals are also needed to promote bitcoin.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 15, 2020, 05:41:15 PM
Promoting Bitcoin isn't easy especially if you promoted it to the wrong persons.

Although there are many ways to promote and advertise Bitcoin right now, the final decision will be on the people themselves if they want to engage themselves in crypto and invest their money into it. If some have business here, they can accept Bitcoin so that customers will be curious about it. There are many companies that are promoting Bitcoin in social media already and there are many youtube vloggers regarding cryptocurrency. I don't see that we, ourselves need to promote it. The only thing that I can do is to support it.

To be honest, I don't want to spread anything about cryptocurrency around my environment because I feel that they are not interested into it.

Nah.... It's not done that way. We need to promote bitcoin irrespective of the fact that vloggers and big companies are already doing that, we as individuals of this forum should do better. Just like following the inspiring footsteps of Laszlo.

Also, you mentioned not wanting to spread anything about cryptocurrency. It's nice that your were honest. However, that is just you thinking that they are not interested in it. You can never conclude such. Go and tell them and trust me, at least one person would be interested.
