382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can build trust in the crypto community? on: January 16, 2024, 01:16:52 PM
Do you think the development of Cogitex and cryptocurrencies in general can be improved?

Well, to be honest, at least you gave up on your initial (apparently stupid) idea of building robots to colonize Mars. I call that progress!  Wink

Now it's time to take a step back and come up with an idea grounded in reality that you can actually pull off and  no need to try to run a marathon before you can walk.  Just start small with something manageable and work your way up from there.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to promote information about projects? on: January 16, 2024, 12:33:24 PM
Building strong community support shouldn't be underestimated.  Make social media profiles and pages just for your project and regularly talking with the people who show interest can really help get folks excited and getting involved shows you care, and might help more peeps hear about it.  You could also write blog posts or make videos giving the basics and put them on Medium or YouTube.  Marketing campaigns can help too.  Bounties help get the word out on Twitter, Facebook etc.  While signature campaigns drives promote on forums and build connections.

where can I see contacts?

Here are the lists where you can find contacts of campaign managers who offer their services on the forum:

How about Legendary user finist4x? It woke up last week, and posts chatbot diarrhea on the tech boards:

Yes. All of his posts appear to be AI generated.

If it's possible and if someone has any of the screenshots of that time then kindly share that as well so we can see how the forum used to look when the advertisements were displayed on the forum.

Just check out the archived web pages at this link: https://archive.is/http://bitcointalk.org/*
You'll find numerous examples of how the forum looked with the banner ads back in the day.

Here's an example:

The banners were shown below the first post in the thread, in the same spot where the factoids are still displayed now.

You know, I was just thinking we maybe playing right into this guy's hands.  Feeding his ego, making him the center of attention - basically giving him exactly what he wants as an attention-seeking troll.  Clearly he's got an agenda and time to kill, but we'd be wise not to take his bait.

but rest assured, anyone who has tagged me ever since I came back in 2022, will pay for it one way or another.

Way I see it, dude wants a stage and an audience.  So I say we stop shinin' the spotlight his way.  Starve him of the reaction he's fishin' for and he'll likely move on to other pastures.  Ain't no one got time for that nonsense anyhow.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 14, 2024, 11:41:09 PM
When you start trading, it can feel kinda overwhelming trying to stay on top of everything going on in the market and figure out what moves to make.  It's easy for beginner traders to mess up and lose money if they don't know what they're doing.  Thats why it makes sense to practice first with a demo account so you can learn the ropes without worrying about losing your hard-earned cash.

Demo accounts let you try out different trading strategies and get used to the platform you'll be using, but without any real money at stake.  It's like a practice run so you can gain some experience under your belt before diving into actual trading.  Going this route helps you avoid costly mistakes down the line when you transition over to trading real money and  once you feel like you got the hang of things and are trading profitably on a consistent basis in your demo, then you can feel confident about moving forward for real.

Let me guess, your "new-born" account is aptly named "Shenanigan"?  Cheesy

This amount of power should not be concentrated in one hand.

What "power" are you talking about? You are assuming something that may or may not be true. But if you feel that way, the solution is simple: Never contact LoyceV by email. Case solved!

It seems that suchmoon's assessment of your character was accurate:

Why bother voting when the system is already compromised? The powerful continue to become stronger, while the weak continue to weaken.
That's not true. Both Timelord2067 and Ratimov were (brutally) removed from DT lately. All you need is convincing evidence, and it helps if the victim isn't a shitposting spammer.
Ratimov has never abused the system in the way that JollyGood has. There are hundreds of threads here and there against JollyGood, and his judgement is awful, yet he keeps accumulating votes and growing stronger. If we're being honest, JollyGood isn't fit to be on the system.

If we're being honest, the only reason you're complaining about JollyGood's judgment is because it hit you personally. And you're not exactly in a position to play the victim card here.

I'm glad my most recent instance provided him - 3 Votes.

I'm glad your "recent instance" put an end to your shitposting.  So it appears that DT has prevailed once more.  And I'm sure you'll be more careful who you hire to write your posts in the future.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pending issues HELP needed! Reward 200$ on: January 14, 2024, 12:30:14 PM
when i look into the history of wallet "A" there is the incoming transaction from the tumbler with 0 confirm, when i search the trans.ID for it it says the fee is:15,323SATS • $6.56 - Wich should not count as low??

Paste the transaction ID into a reputable blockchain explorer, for example mempool.space, and check the "Fee rate" value. It should be in sat/vB.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 14, 2024, 12:21:37 PM
I think it's possible using some sporting strategies. I wish to know which strategy have you been using to win big as a gambler.

Even if there was such a strategy (I emphasize the "if"), why do you think anyone would share it with you, or anyone else on a public forum?  Sharing such a strategy would only serve to attract the attention of sportsbooks, who would then be able to adjust their odds and make it more difficult to profit from such a strategy.

What privileges does LoyceV have?

Why doesn't anyone advertise the fact that LoyceV sees your IP addresses? This is a potential threat to the safety of users

You got it wrong. LoyceV doesn't have the privilege to access other users' IP addresses, but he shared a link where each forum member can view their own IP addresses for the past 30 days.

396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 14, 2024, 09:07:19 AM
I'd suggest asking folks to share what percent of their monthly earnings they bet on average.  For instance, I wager around 5% of my monthly pay each week and  i won't say exactly how much I make, but let's pretend I bring home $1,000 a month.  In that case Id put down around 50 bucks a week on average.  That's a pretty small cut of my income, meaning I'm likely not going overboard with gambling.

Of course, everyone's situation is different.  The percentage that works for me might be too high or too low for someone else.  But looking at it this way gives a rough sense of whether the betting is sustainable or if its getting out of hand.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I need help about ETH-wallet on: January 14, 2024, 08:52:08 AM
Is it any good and safe wallet for ETH and ETH meme coins for instant and cheap swaps where you also can swap very low amounts?

The software for crypto wallets can help optimize how much it costs to send transactions around.  But the biggest thing deciding transaction fees is the type of system the blockchain uses at its core and  Solana uses something called Proof of History to get transactions confirmed, while Ethereum's going with Proof of Stake.  These are totally different, which is why moving crypto on Ethereum costs so much more than doing it on Solana.  Ethereum's fees jump all over, depending on the network's traffic and congestion. That's why you have cheaper swaps on the Solana network compared to Ethereum.

zzz why are people talking . i said admin / mods

Because this is a public forum for discussion, people are allowed to speak freely.

Next time, if you still feel like limiting who is allowed to reply, I suggest you create a self-moderating thread.
399  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you tag these users? on: January 13, 2024, 12:27:01 PM
You weren't tagged for changing your staked wallet address. You were tagged for excessive shitposting and spamming the forum with low-quality, AI-generated content.

I guess you have missed what this user offered. He said that his posts are not AI-generated. JollyGood didn't gather any evidence before he tagged that user. We have seen many false positive reports when we check AI content. Everyone should have their investigation before they conclude. The user refuses the allegation. Now, if you have evidence of AI posting, show them. I have checked the post-JollyGood used as a reference and it's a human text.

First things first, I didn't actually tag anyone here.  I was just trying to clear up where the confusion came from.  I agree, it's real important that we don't go accusing people without proof.  And we should definitely look more into things before pointing fingers.  If someone gets wrongly accused, they can always speak up to defend themselves.  At the end of the day, its up to all of us to decide whether or not we trust what someone says.

We talked before about those AI detecting tools and how unreliable they can be sometimes.  They can flag human-generated content as AI-generated.  Or the other way around too.  But just cause someone figured out how to trick the system doesn't prove they aren't using AI or some other techniques to pump out content fast.

The main argument is, can you leave negative feedback for shitposting or AI-generated content? You shouldn't do it. If you see a shitpost, report it to the moderator and they will handle it. Leaving negative for shitposting or AI content isn't the proper use of the feedback system.

Now I could see JollyGood's typical behavior. If he has nothing in his defense, he silently watches the discussion. Seems like he doesn't give it a fuck. It's like, I did what I did. If you can do something, go on. I wasn't expecting that from you, my friend.

It's plain as day that the user in question is a shameless shitposter.  I think we can all agree on that.  Does he deserve a negative tag for all the excessive shitposting?  I suppose that's up to each person to decide for themselves and, personally, I might start a reputation thread first to see what others make of it before going the negative tag route.  But the fact is, he's already received a few neutral warnings, but those obviously didn't work.  The negative did.  So there's that.
400  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you tag these users? on: January 12, 2024, 12:27:54 PM
I didn't know changing old staked wallet address was a red tag offence, didn't read it anywhere.

You weren't tagged for changing your staked wallet address. You were tagged for excessive shitposting and spamming the forum with low-quality, AI-generated content.
