so dev want 96 BTC for copy/paste NIST and POS ?

Why do you say that its a copy/paste coin??

Is Doge a copy/paste coin of Litecoin for using scrypt???

It is implementing the algo NIST5, as it is one of the most energy efficient, whats the problrm about this?

The code have been writted from the begining by our programmer. We took the algo from Talkcoin, and also other good parts of other coins. So it is not a copy paste, you will be able to see by yourself checking the source, at the launch.

DOGE didn't ask for 96 BTC before launch, using a premine
Litecoin is also copy/paste, not even the first scrypt, also didn't ask for 96BTC before launch

LOL Image the selling pressure from 96BTC ICO plus from the miners together. I can only image a Everest of selling orders.  Grin

You are part of Talkcoin team, and you are working for marketing, promoting, develop. I understand that, it's your job be here. But
criticizing others does not make talkcoin better. I told you this as a talkcoins holder.

I even wish them luck and want them to success before because I believe more coins use Talkcoin's innovation will make Talkcoin even more famous. But after seeing the 19.2% premine, I just feel sorry for investors who buy that.

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

Albert Einstein

That's your opinion, I will buy, and I will sell it 3 times more expensive soon. Come back in one month, and you will see who was right.

Nobody ask for 96BTC, they just give the option to invest. You want, you can. You don't want, don't do it. Un sold coins will be destroyed, so they can get from 0 btc to 96 btc, that's depend of the people and investors. The point is that if you make a ICO, you have to setup a real value if you are looking for a successful project, like serious coins as maidsafe or safecoin do, you have to look for an objetive market cap, in this case I think everything from 400-600 is a good begining,

I will invest. I have a good feeling, but that's my opinion, you can have another, the good thing is that we have the opportunity to choose.

393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 08, 2014, 08:58:03 PM
Someone please explain how it works. You can send text messages to all tac wallets, or just 1? do you use coins to send the messages or do you not need coins?
How many coins exist currently? there will be many millions mined each year indefinately, so there is no coin max?

It's a public chat for now, everybody can see. In the next update the coin will have also encrypted and descentralized messages between two address, so it will be totally anonymous like bitmessage for example.

You need 1 coin to send message to avoid spam, but the cost will change with the price in the future.

Around 3millons. You can check here in some hours when the block expliorer finnish syncronizing: http://talk.cryptocoinunion.com/

For now it's not a maximum, but maybe will be interested has some POS feature or something in the future together with the chat or something... The community and dev team will have to decide about the future. For now you can vote for the next reward if you want Wink
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 07, 2014, 12:22:23 PM
Why too much sellers? They want loose the train?  Huh

Somebody is buying anyways big ammounts  Cool

I don't want to troll and I want to say first that I'm a TAC holder.
But let's me to be frank here. At current diff and price this coin is still the most profitable coin right now. So don't surprise if a lot of miners dumps their coin now. Most of miners won't care about coin anyway, the only thing they want and feel secure is BTC.
For investors who see the potential of this coin, this price is unbelieveable cheap. But for some, this is profitable.
If the next block reward change results in much leser coin ( < 10 TACs), so you could expect the price to rise.
Right now I'm enjoying mining TAC with with diff, much better than 2 days ago.
Last but not least, I think TAC pretty doing well. Price stable, diff stable. The only stable way for a coin to grow is the acceptance of users. So if the new wallet version comes out with new features, the price should go up too.

Price is stable because is not volume... Nobody is buying or selling today. People is waiting too see what the dev will bring for the next update I think. And also for the new reward.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 07, 2014, 12:19:49 PM
The new features look nice. I'm waiting to see them. It would be good to see some promotion... Begining for us! The thread was active yesterday and today looks dead, what happened? Come on! This coin is nice and the dev team is doing a good job here.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | First Anonymous Chat | First NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 06, 2014, 09:24:57 PM
I love dumpers. Maybe I could buy again for 3k satoshis haha  Grin
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | Now on Bittrex |1st Anon Chat | NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 06, 2014, 08:45:43 PM
I'm watching the market and TAC looks like a good buy right now, hopefully the dumpers run out of coin and things pick back up.
Do you guys forecast more dumping? I like this project and would like to get as many coins as possible  Cool

It's hard to know. The coins is well distributed but they are always early miners than can have around 20-30k talkcoins... This kind of people probably will dump again. Also I know some people coinsidering to buy big ammounts of talkcoins, but they will watch how the price continue in the next days to decide when to enter. In my personal opinion everything below 10k satoshis is a great point to enter, I bought next week in europex all that I could for 3k satoshis, and I expect to see 30k soon.

and now the ask price keeps creeping lower and lower too.

/sigh

Normal, somebody dumped 50k coins. Dont' worry for the price. Dev is working hard for this coin. The time will reward people that trust on this project.

Dumpers will go soon.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAC] TalkCoin | Now on Bittrex |1st Anon Chat | NIST5 | Vote/No Premine on: June 06, 2014, 08:36:41 PM
I don't have the time to read every page, could someone please explain how many total coins? front page just says 39-78 million per year. Does this mean it will be mined forever, and with that many added/year through mining?
How many coins exist right now?
Why can't I post in the new thread?
Unlock some mysteries to potential buyers.

Dev is working in integrate in the wallet the actual mined coins, until that is pretty hard know exactly. But it's around 2500000-3000000 coins for now.
An

It's impossible know how many coins will be mined per year. For sure will be mined 1,500,000 blocks, but the reward can change between 1 to 50 depending on the votes of the people. I think will be lower everyday. So total coins mined per year can go since 1,500,000-75,000,000. Probably will be around 15,000,000 for the first year... But just it's my bet.

For now I think is not limit of coins. But this can change if one day the dev decide to turn this coin POS. Dev should explain the plans about this part. Maybe a POW for always is not the best idea for this coin. We will see.

This is the new thread. And you are posting... I don't see prolbem there Wink

welcome aboard!
