If someone invest 1BTC when price was 0.00001000 AC/BTC and have about 100000AC and now exchange it 1:1 for PND and sold it for BTC will have:
PND * PND/LTC * LTC/BTC = 100000*0.00000035*0.024 = 0.00084 BTC
It is a 99.916 % loss O.o

From a quick Github code search for ValueFromAmountWithFee, it seems this function which is used in AC and SHAcoin is also used in a few other coins. Might be a good idea to check those out as well.

I'm proposing, if this guy didn't relaunch, we do this:
Start another PoW+PoS coin, this time with a proper developer and team. The coin will have 1 or 2 weeks of PoW. 50% premine, which all the premine would go to the people who have AC (according to the amount they hold).
This way, we will have a new coin, and also benefits would go to the people who have had AC.
Edit: I have 1m AC, if you wanna add that next to my name.

I now understand what happened.
Just my opinion: I have seen several 51% attacks in other coins, which finally survived.
The 51%-attack isn't the problem if the developers create a checkpoint and handle it appropriate.
And exchanges even re-enabled such coin for trade afterwards.
But the huge premine is a new problem never seen in any other coin, as much as I can remember.
The survival of AC depends on whether the devs can handle these premined coins in a approriate manner ....
We will see what the announced AC ver2 will bring to us ....

Some guy discovered a potential scam here and advertise it to whole world instead of disclosing or discussing it with dedicated and experienced members of the community ,inadvertently attracted millions of trolls to badmouth and spread fud and literally bring AC and millions of investment on the verge of death.
Oh now you're blaming the people who discovered this scam instead of blaming developer ? He help us cut huge potential loss. Just imagine if dev decided to dump all the remaining of his premine, the price should be 1 satoshi now. What kind of asshole you are ? First behave yourself. Second, I am not blaming discovery of potential fraud, but the way it has been handled.Better option could have been the community takeover. You are wrong about Whitecoin, its situation was much better than Asiacoin now. whitecoin premine is small and the currency can move on without considering that premine. Now look at 3 billion premined AC, compared with 140 million coins in circulation, you just can't rebuild everything as Whitecoin did. The only solution for Asiacoin is letting it die. that dev was telling about 6 Billion premine 60 billion actually. |

I think it's time for a proper explanation, what went wrong, how is it being fixed, when will the relaunch happen (exactly when), and the process with which people can 1:1 swap their AC for ACV2.
I think this would remove all doubts and helps stablize everything.
