they have to stop by themself. we are not here in a Mamy & Poppy regulated environment. before a mainnet start of a project its always difficult. there is alot of scammers out there. It would be so much better not releasing any tokens on a not production ready system, or as I am would say, releasing a scam coin. It would make more sense making a smart contract on Ethereum. But we now what happens with a smart contract - all money is gone. In fact you cant blame anyone anymore, once the scam coin going to be on a "real" blockchain aka production ready.
Its funny, because Sasha saying so often, he dont want to release a not production ready network, but gave us his coin on a non production ready system, nobody wants to work with. what a scammer. but i guess he was not aware of that. Nobody want to invest in a coin without a working nodes blockchain. This will end this month guess. |

I can see capital flight happening because most people want to move to another ICO and seeing the performance of Stratis recently and achieving this even without been listed on Poloniex that most Waves investors are clamouring for, is just making them look foolish because Stratis value as at this time of writing is X7 profit for investors and Waves is trading below the ICO price.

Signature campaign terms are improved, due to many questions.
so it goes like that now:
Legendary/Hero : 2 Stakes
Sr./Full : 1.5 stakes
Member: 1 Stake
That means that Legendary member receives twice as much tokens as simple member etc.
junior members don't worry, if you post actively you will be paid extra.
what is the sig campaign ongoing?? i have kept waves sig since the ICO. can i claim or do i need to register after end of ico?? Where have you been all the while? Its been months since the time where ICO ends. Bounties had been distributed days after it. Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with Waves or other projects besides expressing my own opinion
Business point of view;
Entrepreneur CAN NOT handle ALL without hiring professional personal for certain positions if Waves strives to be an international startup (not mentioning successful) (or a startup).
Many and different entrepreneurs have great ideas but eventually they fail for a non proper inside organization of their own business (if money isn't an issue).
Waves raised millions of dollars through an ICO (putting aside WHY ICO and not other less controversial methods), first thing that should be done is to raise PROFESSIONAL PERSONAL (here comes many questions how much waves personal is professional, if I personally needed to judge according to founder's public performances - this project is in danger).
Coders, Accounting, PR manger, community manager, company's spokesman, and others, takes time to hire - one person can't handle all (Waves founder strives to be the FACE of his company while he SO SO speaks English or at least a fluent English that makes him able to speak fluently his thoughts - a business man would not allow such a thing, there are talented spokesmen available).
Who is Waves founder? do you know his background? business background? Does he have a wife? kids? Divorced? Who is he? when investing money into a startup (in this case - idea) you invest into a person as he has nothing ready to show to the world (besides unorganized thoughts). Point to think about - how was his economical status before receiving millions? Did he burn the money previously? while receiving a couple of thousands dollars from Coinmoat money raising?
Why does waves founder put time stamps when he doesn't understand their meaning - in business world you don't put or say a date / time stamp if you are not sure -these critical mistakes does person who didn't do business in the past.
For the long term investors - if you are newbies to crypto ecosystem, do you homework before putting money (1$) into something that isn't understood 100%.
I have my personal doubts about raising so much many millions of dollars by a person who has basically no background in the world of business (or crypto) (you should ask for Coinomat's yearly detailed financial status)
Maybe somehow Waves will be able to get along with the years to come (too much money were raised), and the founder will eventually learn how to manage a project.
I mentioned long-term investors as traders DO NOT invested in Waves and Short-Mid range investors already lost a certain percentage while existing and earned them back by investing in other projects.
A point to consider for long term investment in Crypto - would you invest into a questionable project or Bitcoin perhaps for the year ahead?

Yes, you are wrong. The main programmer responsible for the Waves back-end has made a lot of changes since the launch of the testnet: middle of August: https://github.com/wavesplatform/Waves/commits/masterThey want to be absolutely sure that the testnet is running stable for and extended period of time(few weeks) with alternating middle and heavy load. That's why there was relative calm in the last 1.5 week. You are right on the devnet. They have an own developer network where most of the work is being done. If a module is ready for testing they upload it to github.
Since the launch of testnet there is only a bunch of version number changes and one test config edit. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Let me guess, all the important changes must be on the private branch not visible to outsiders?

I think that you will only be able to beat the system by starting inside the system. Any exchange needs large volumes to be interesting for traders and Polo is the one that you should get on. When you have a billion dollar marketcap then you can try and make your own exchange become among the biggest... devīs did you contact poloniex?

Poloniex and Bittrex have been contacted previously. There's quite a bit of discussion about that earlier in this thread. It's not quite as simple as filling up an online form. We haven't actually touched upon the subject of exchanges in any discussions with him, so it's rather interesting how he landed where he did. Regardless, it's about time we begin to step out of the centralized exchanges. The HEAT client will be doing exactly that when ready. Did I heard this "step out of the centralized exchanges" mumbo jambo with FIMK too? And for the record FIMK has no volume and no exchanges after two years. For the average Joe its more secure to trade on a centralized platform, because he will lose his private key and computer hacked and then all the money is gone. For a decentralized platform you need to bring the same security as for centralized, that means 2-way security like 2FA or a TAN or a mobile TAN and that has not been coded yet, what i know. So for Joe a centralized platform offers at the moment a better security even of the risk, they will get hacked. And money is all about security. I am Joe. The other point is that a huge exchange will compensate Joe, because they make alot of money or having a heavy investor in their back, even they get hacked. See bitstamp. Bitfinex got trapped because of bitpays crap system, they should never relied on. So I hope this talk is over (or will never end) and developers agree on kissing asses of the marketers (exchanges) to make the coin successful. Make no sense this topic here. I guess Heat is something like Synereo, a blockchain of blockchains but cant sell it and it will never get attention. I cant answer your question, twiggy probably can, but you cant name a release date, you can just say when a release candidate will be ready, because the team is so small. So when its ready its ready. you cant say how long testing is going on, because if you find a problem, testing has to start all over again of the broken part and probably of all other software parts. I cant understand why sasha didnt hired more people and is still not hiring enough to get all features done as fast as possible. I cant understand why he is not starting the process of getting a licence in the uk. I guess he is not a professional guy. Just watch him in his interviews. He is not appearing like a pro a CEO or someone can deal with such a project. Everything will be half baked, delayed or going wrong. The same story as Coinomat. Everyone was knowing that and it was said here in the forum, so there is no need for panic, neither questions: Are we already there?, Is it finished? Why its not ready? The answer is probably it will be never ready. |

I am out. My frustration got the better of me. I am sorry guys I wish I could hold on longer. But my sudden mistrust of the capabilities of the Waves development team made me sell. I wish Sasha was more transparent even if there are set backs. As long as we can see that he can be trusted then everything will fall into place or at least there is the hope it will fall into place.
Fullnodes on mainnet are not sure to come so fast. Sasha talking alot of BS IMO. Better to step out now and not letting the loses grow. There is no buywall sasha gave up on the investors. The price is 60% below ico and he is not buying into his own project, thats lol and communication managers want to close this thread. Its so bizzare as an amateur workshop for handicaped people. I cant understand what went so wrong, but its definitly real. We paid for translation in punjabi. Completely crazy people this team. |

ICO after ICO no hate here but i just noticed it. We have paid for WAVES during ICO and then any project released under WAVES demand another ICO, they are milking people of their BTC. And seems it is a great news because they will accumulate another batch of money from these people who never noticed the scheme. Anyway i wish you all the profit and good luck.
