381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think will compete with Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 11:17:24 PM
Ethereum looks like the most reliable competitor of bitcoin, BTC against ETH sounds pretty good too, but they are very different from each other, just see that the price of bitcoin is over $5700 right now, and ethereum is below $300, so one btc equals to 18 eth aproximately.
But they have very different technologies, they are almost the opposite and this is what they makes them the perfect competitors in the crypto market, and LTC against XMR too.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin exchange do you use on: October 18, 2017, 11:11:13 PM
Dont use bittrex, it is having a lot of issues right now and a lot of people are losing money because of their trash exchange that is very centralized and connected with us government.
Use poloniex or cryptopia, those exchangers are good if you are looking to do dailytrade or just exchange your coins for bitcoin or usdt, it depends on the use that you are going to do with the exchanges.
I have been using polo from the start and i never had an issue with it
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Trading Site for Token on: October 16, 2017, 07:37:40 PM
It depends a lot, etherdelta, coinexchange, novaexchange and cryptopia are the most trusted exchanges for tokens and coins who had a succesfull ico, but yes, they are shady exchanges and maybe a lot of users had problems with those ones. I would recommend you to start trading on bittrex, or use that kind of exchanges that everybody knows that they are 100% trusted and you are not going to be scammed in there.
and of course, there are a lot of tokens to trade in there.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My $50 000 Bitcoin bet on: October 16, 2017, 07:02:21 PM
There is only one year and a few months left until 2019, and i am pretty sure that there is not going to be any crash or hack into the security of bitcoin or the way that it works, it is fully protected and everybody has their own security to prevent hacking or cracking on their wallets.
there are small chances for it to happen, maybe your friend is angry because he could not buy bitcoins at a cheaper rate.. poor of him. good luck for this bet mate.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: What would it take to convince a billionaire to on: October 16, 2017, 06:41:42 PM
I dont understand why have you created a self moderated thread for this kind of purposes.
but regarding to your post, it is a very funny question to make on here, but it is difficult to convince a millionaire or even billionaires to put that amount of money in the market.
Just think about it, a barrier like that would cost more than millions or even some billions on the market (atm rate) and if it happens, then a lot of millionaires need to do it.
There is a lot of marketcap right now.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a ICO on: October 16, 2017, 06:18:50 PM
I have been looking at the altcoin announcement board in this forum and it is going to collapse soon, it is incredible the way that there are everytime more founders in that section, and most of them doesnt even receive attention on their ANN.
Investors are only caring about Airdrops like deeponion, and this has been the only succesfull airdrop that is on the forum, the others are pure garbage.
Maybe this is a new era of ICO's?
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2017, 03:51:08 PM
Bitcoin has always been the most famous cryptocurrencie because it has been the first one in all the markets, and i think that a lot of people are taking it in consideration because it was $0,007 some years ago, and seeing that now the price is over $5800 is amazing, and a lot of people thinks that the same can happen in some years with the actual price. But there is a lot of people who likes more ethereum than bitcoin, and the same applies with all the altcoins on the market.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: each state will create its own token? on: October 16, 2017, 03:33:21 PM
Has anyone noticed that there are a lot of ico's and tokens about states and cities? I visited the Altcoins section on Announcements, and there are some coins like "New york coin" "londres coin" "Miami coin" this is amazing, it is obviously that this has only been created by a fan or maybe a resident from there, but it is nice.
Maybe you are not reffering to this, but it makes sense that we are probably going to see coins about cities.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Alt ? on: October 16, 2017, 03:22:32 PM
Yes of course, it depends on a lot of things that you have to take in consideration before buying them, but you might buy all the altcoins that you desire before the fork is done, so the best time for doing it will be on October 24th, before all the people starts to buy new altcoins to re-stock their portfolio.
But i dont know, only try to invest in those altcoins that looks good, not in those shitty altcoins that are probably less than $0,10 right now
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never short Bitcoin! on: October 16, 2017, 03:06:06 PM
Yes i agree with it, when i used to trade on forex markets, there was a guy who was always advising me to create a Short possition on bitcoin, and he was crazy because he told me that the price was going to go below $1200 after the first fork on August, and the price did just the opposite than it.
And he was one of the most professional traders in that website, because he knew a lot, but i did never understand why he didnt had any faith on bitcoin.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PURCHASE BITCOIN? on: October 16, 2017, 02:56:05 PM
I would not buy bitcoins now, it has been rising a lot since we hear the first thoughs about the hard fork on october, and it has been rising a lot (from near $4200 to $5800 in a few days) so it is risky to invest now, wait until the fork is done because the price will probably drop a lot, and then invest, maybe we can expect a price of $5000 after the fork, and it is a great price to start investing on it.
Or just invest on altcoins, they all are in red prices.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Price Pumps and Forks on: October 15, 2017, 10:46:31 PM
I only care about seeing bitcoin going up, at the moment i am not holding any altcoin, only bitcoin, but maybe i will buy some altcoins in the near future. but i am waiting until bitcoin reaches a fair price so i can sell my coins, but i am being very worried about this situation, i think that the price will drop a lot after that the fork is done, and this is caused because of the fork, it is obviously that everybody is buying bitcoin only to receive bitcoingold at the end of the month, and this is why the price is going up so quickly-
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Woah! what is happening on: October 15, 2017, 10:38:24 PM
I think that we all know that we are going to receive free tokens after the fork, and those tokens are the result of  the hard fork that is happening in October 25th, there is nothing wrong going to happen to your wallet, you are only going to receive bitcoingold equivalent to your quantity of bitcoins, nobody knows how much do this new kind of bitcoin is worth, but it is free money anyway.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $123 for few minutes on: October 13, 2017, 10:14:57 PM
This is good, but i am sure that you only won that money because you were lucky, not because of those analysis, there is no way to defeat the casino, and less those btc casinos that are probably tricked to make everybody lose on their games. But nice winnings mate, try to do not lose all the money on that strategy, maybe it will fail in sometime.
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: The correction is going to be epic, 2025 ~ 1M and other predictions. on: October 13, 2017, 09:43:23 PM
Maybe you are being so optimistic, i dont really think that the price would be 100 thousand dollars, not even 1 million of course, just imagine how much will be the marketcap, it will be huge, uncalculable for anyone, more than trillions invest into only one coin.
I dont know, but i am being realistic, i can only see bitcoin going to $15 or $20 thousand dollars at max, no more.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will bitcoin turn into satoshis? on: October 13, 2017, 09:26:56 PM
Nah i dont think it is going to happen, bitcoin needs to be worth more than $100 million dollars to see a satoshi at $1 each, it is not going to happen, because it is unreal. A lot of people see this possible, buy you all need to be realistic, this is not possible guys.
And why dont you use the term "mbtc"? it is more pretty than saying Satoshis, and it sounds good.
mBtc looks more elegant.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MonaCoin is the *100 Coin, it will be $1000 soon, you heard it here FIRST! on: October 13, 2017, 09:08:49 PM
Good! Nice try to make people pump more this coin! of course i am now going to invest 1 million dollars because you told me to invest before it pumps toward 1 thousand! hahaha, this made me laugh a lot, it is so crazy how people are trying to pump a brandly new coin who only made a x10 in a few days.
it is normal guys, it happens with a lot of ico's who are being pumped by a group of pumpers.
398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your scammed experience? on: October 12, 2017, 09:37:17 PM
The first time i got scammed on the internet was when i tried to buy some coins of a knowed MOBA that i guess that a lot people are playing it.
But it was a very weird scam, i trusted in that guy, and he asked me to send him $10 and he was going to send me some coins to my account, but he dissapeared, and never contacted me again.
It happened like six years ago, but i still remember it like if it was yesterday, because it was my first lesson about scam.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi controlling 500'000 BTC on: October 12, 2017, 09:20:32 PM
If he tries to sell them, he would not be able to sell them because it is too much money, and there is no bank that has that money on fiat to be able to pay for it, if i am not wrong, there is not even that amount of physical cash in a little country. Those are more than 2700 million dollars, it is almost impossible for him to cash out that big amount of money.
But if he does have them on their wallet, is fine, he diserves it because he created all this stuff.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers got flushed fast on: October 12, 2017, 09:02:41 PM
I dont understand the reason of why people is still dumping their bitcoins, they can look at the charts and they will see that the price is always increasing, but they are worried about losing $20 because they are too scared to make a profit of 40% just by holding those coins for months.
But it is good, if there would not be panic sellers maybe we could not see any price decrease, so it is good to have them.
