Try to verify that the metamask you have downloaded is official or not. If it's official it won't require any permission to operate. There is a metamask installed in my phone as well which has no permission in my phone. If you have already imported your wallet then it is advisable to change your wallet as soon as possible. The screenshot you have shared looks like its not from Metamask.

382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: October 01, 2023, 08:31:27 PM
I advise you to begin with spot trading if you are new to trading cryptocurrencies. Most newbies I believe started from spot trading, just like me, a few years ago.

You can then think about transitioning to futures trading once you have a better understanding of the market and how it functions. Master first or familiarize how trading works then you can start doing futures trading with very little leverage.

Yes. This is it. Spot trading is always the best move for newbies. No fear of getting liquidated and will have enough time to know what's happening in the market. Some even leverage some elite traders' trading skills mostly when they go online or just imitate them from copy trading as most exchanges are now showing off every trader's trading history for everyone to see

Future trading can also be less risky if you use 2x to 3x leverage. The only difference I see is that in spot trading you hold the actual assets but in the future you do not. Sometimes a trade can be very wrong and you should never touch your breakeven points.

In my opinion demo trading is best for beginners. Why take unnecessary risks and try to trade like a gambler who is always unaware of the outcome? Practice with a demo account and become familiar with the market.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: October 01, 2023, 08:24:25 PM
I would say start a small business with $15000.  Profit should be taken out of money without depositing it. By starting a low risk business you can start a business and earn profit from it. Again you can save money from that profit.  Starting a small business will take as little as $15,000.  But it also has risks. If the business flops, capital can be lost. For this you have to have all those business ideas inside, you have to continuously innovate in the business. It doesn't happen if you don't take risk. If you want to shine in life, you have to take risk. It is better to invest it in the right way instead of saving 15000$.  It won't take you more than 20000$ through investment.
Investment is not something we need to do with funds we have, we can always split it and use part of the funds to invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies so that we can earn some profits too. I always tell to never underestimate investing in physical business because that would make a lot of sense so as our crypto investment keep getting mature, same will our physical businesses will keep growing so that as we are making money from the two side, we can also think of investing in other businesses to earn more too. Anything can happen in the Crypto world just like last time when the crypto market crashes making people to make severe loses.

Physical business requires your presence, money and time. This may not be the best option for many of us because it requires great management and leadership skills which most people don't have. When investing in bitcoin, gold, land, stocks, it doesn't require your physical presence. So you can participate in other activities when investing in those assets. Physical business and buying assets both have their own level of risk.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: October 01, 2023, 07:48:29 PM
This is a very subjective topic op. Firstly, no one knows how long they will live which is why retiring early is preferred over retiring late. Imagine saving a lot of money and retiring late only to expire shortly after. Crazy regrets!

Secondly, most early retirees are happy with their decision. The ones that you mentioned are part of the minority who can always come out of retirement.
I disagree with you. With the current condition of the global economy, more and more early retirees are back to seeking jobs and any sources of income. While it is true that retiring early allows people to finally have time for themselves and enjoy life, majority of the people see it as a hard-to-reach goal due to inflation and the possible hit it will cause their financial stability once they choose to stop working. Hence, I wouldn't call this a subjective topic.

Why do we need to retire anyway and what is left to enjoy in old age when the only enjoyable things for you will be sleep.

My goal is simple. Keep working as long as my body can and enjoy life along the way bit by bit so that i won't be stressed. Along the way i will keep investing my money in assets which will cover my expenses when I am not able to work anymore. Our lives are short and it is true that if our lives expire shortly after retirement, it will be a regret.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: October 01, 2023, 06:27:51 PM
Agree with your statement as if you are using money then more money will come to you. The wealthy people are wealthy because they create new way of earning through utilising their own money. Poor people think that if they spend their earning and reward then there will be nothing with them to buy expensive things but they forget that desires can be achieved anytime but once you spend money in useless activities then you will not able to increase your cash.

Sometimes they think that investment is a waste of time but they don't remember that with this investment you can avoid harsh situations, your life will not be burden for you.
May be they are not investing as they wants the happiness of their family to feed them in restaurant and to give them expensive cloths but they can also invest money because after some patience they will be able to give more comfort than this if they wisely invest in wise coin as it will offer them passive income.

Rich people earn more money by using their asssets not money. Your fiat currency is useless as it is losing its PPP power every second. So as long as you are holding your paper cash and not buying any asset like bitcoin, gold, land with it you are not utilizing it.

Poor people don't think investment is a waste of time and they know that rich people increase their wealth by investing money. They don't want to invest their money because they think that if their investment turns negative they will lose their small money as well. Their lack of knowledge about money management let their fear dominate them.
386  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 bull run strategies on: October 01, 2023, 05:09:22 PM
_ Even though am a big fan of Bitcoin, it wouldn't make you filthy rich, unless you have a large capital, the real money is in the Alt where the high risk are, just pick the right one.

The real money is in bitcoin. But alt can also give you a huge profit but you need to pick the right one and how would you do that? There are thousands of their kinds and everyone is promising a great future. Grin

_ Learn to sell: you need to learn to cut your loss, even though you are -70% , the left over 30% is reinvested than slowly grinding down to -99% because you are too stubborn to admit you are wrong.

If your suggestion is to use stop-loss, then why do you need to wait for your investment to go down to -70% to exit? Your stop loss should be way higher than that so that you don't need to take that huge loss and in a bear market this reinvestment strategy won't work. All the alts go down eventually.

_ Take profit: if you don't take profit how can you be profitable? Don't be greedy, just take profit.

We all want to take profit but is there any working strategy you have for that?
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exploring the potentials of bots in portfolio management on: October 01, 2023, 05:01:41 PM
Using a bot for portfolio management can be risky because all of these bot has their limitation and it's possible that any totally new scenario occurred that the bot can not identify and react accordingly. If you are a busy man and needs to use bot then i would suggest you to use copy trading instead. Most of the exchange offer copy trading features and you can see their past performance and switch trader any time you want.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to backup Screenshots balance on exchange? on: October 01, 2023, 04:54:27 PM
2. If you are forced to store your funds or crypto on an exchange, don't forget to take a screenshot of your balance and account. This SS is useful if at any time something bad happens so you already have proof that you have funds there. Usually SS balance is a requirement for claiming recovery money.

Anyone can change their account balance with the inspect element tools and take a screenshot. Do you think this will be a valid document to submit to the court if you can manage to file a case? Why don't you use dex instead. If any exploit happens your on-chain data will still be there. I have never heard of any case study where they accepted screenshots to claim recovery money.

And if this post is useful for you, give me merit

In the past few days some members have been begging for merits at the end of their post! Why is merit so important for them! Begging merits is not allowed and higher-ranking members will avoid your post because of the comments you have made.

389  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is there any promotion going on! on: October 01, 2023, 10:26:28 AM
I see different content than the screenshot. @DVlog Add the username or the link to that account, in the future or in similar cases, and when you are talking about individual behavior and not a general description of a problem, adding the username is necessary.

Overall, he seems to be begging for merits. If this is true, PM him to stop this will be sufficient, and if he keep his activity, a neutral or negative trust will be necessary. PM me and let's see what will happen.

Sorry about that. I have added his profile link to the OP and will do the same next time if I see anything link this.

It looks like all of his topics have been removed by the moderator. But if you look at the archive, you will see most of the posts have been removed as of September 30. He made 6 new posts today and they have been removed as well. Here is the link: https://loyce.club/archive/members/357/3573102.html
390  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk telegram bots giving fake count on merits on: September 30, 2023, 07:41:00 PM
This bot was developed by TryNinja and here is the official post regarding this bot. This bot is not forum made and can be called community developed bot so it will be better to inform the creator of this bot. I am not sure if he is still developing this bot or not but he is the one who will be able to fix the bot. I think this is a minor issue with the telegram API. 391  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have Any Chance To Withdraw Negative Trust..? on: September 30, 2023, 06:29:06 PM
I can see your unnecessary post caught the attention of those DT members who were not aware of you. Now you have two more new reds! Man grow up and don't try to take shortcuts. The trust system is not moderated and the only member who puts those trust can remove them. And i can tell you that DT members from this forum are not so kind towards dishonest people.
392  Economy / Reputation / Is there any promotion going on! on: September 30, 2023, 06:08:26 PM
In the past few days i have noticed unusual things like this user in the screenshot. New users come to the forum and start creating new topics right after a few days. Just look how many topics this user created in a single day and he even begged for merit in one of his topic. Is there someone who spreads misinformation about any giveaway in the forum for creating new topic!(This isn't a serious question)   Roll Eyes

I know they are newbie and we can not expect anything super helpful from them, but they should at least read the forum rules first.

393  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: September 30, 2023, 05:48:13 PM
The cost for marriage and raising kids is expensive due to their economic stagnation. Also they have a culture of working equality for men and women and for the baby care part, most of the burden goes to women only. So many women want to avoid marriage as they think there will be too much pressure on them.
I don't know about that part that burden only goes to the women. Although we're living in a society, it's a shared responsibility for both married couples.

But I don't know about much of their culture in terms of being in a family and how it goes but with that problem that many of them don't want to raise a child is also alarming.

In Japanese culture women took on the most responsibility for raising their kids. And I think this fact is true for most of the nation as well though we saw in some countries that husband and wife share this responsibility. Also men don't have the care and patience mentality of women to properly raise a child. Japanese women work as much as men do so it's logical to think this burden can be heavy on them after working equally outside of home.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: September 30, 2023, 05:40:58 PM
Poor people lack knowledge on investment and they were agonizing to have something which they've never experienced in life. This is why they just spend here and there and end up with nothing left. Through education this can be easily solved.

Another thing when we talk of poor people, there are people who aren't able to feed themselves for three times a day. With them how to suggest investment. What is more important itself isn't available and in that situation talking of next level of living is really unfair.

First of all savings needs to be encouraged. The education need to be provided on investment and other ways of making the savings better. This is how we can help with betterment of the poor people. Not everyone were able to follow it which is the hard reality.

You have raised some valid points but if we don't try to educate ourselves with the basic knowledge of business then it is our failure that we didn't try to exclude ourselves from poverty. Education was not a basic need and was not as inexpensive as it is today in the past. Still, people learn to do business with basic education in the past. If you know the letters and can read and write that is enough for you to be knowledgeable. I know it's not easy for a person who can't feed himself properly but this is not impossible if he has the will to change his life.

Our ambitions in life push us one step further to improve ourselves bit by bit and change our lives. We need to have that willingness to be someone no matter what situation our lives is going through.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade without fees? on: September 30, 2023, 03:44:42 PM
Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment?
I can see convert on exchanges like OKX and Binance. Convert trading fee is $0. Make sure you read about convert on the exchanges you see it, it may have fee, but the exchanges I saw it, it is having no fee required.

I am not sure if those exchanges provide zero trading fees for using the convert option or not, but i have tried to use it one time but the spread was higher. Selling my assets in the spot market would have given me a better return than exchanging them using the convert option. Perhaps that was a real case but after that i have never tried to use those features.

That bybit offers is true. They are offering 0 fees for all the usdc pair. They are doing some promotion based on USDC.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic indicator that are very helpful and you may don't know yet... on: September 30, 2023, 03:34:20 PM
So here's the list:

MACD = Buy and Sell Signals
RSI= shows when price is overbought and oversold
Bollinger Bands= volatility levels
9EMA= Short term trends
21EMA= Entry and Exit points
50 EMA= helpful for Stop loss placement
200 EMA= Long-term trend
VWAP= Intraday Breakouts
ADX= strength of the trend

Key note: Just because it is listed does mean you should use it all. All have their purpose and you can just use what resonates with your strategy whether you are a short-term or swing trader. You can just use EMA for signals and confirm it with buy/sell of MACD. The most important is you have a sample data that you're strategy is working and backtested.

You have provided an EMA (Exponential Moving Average) indicator with custom settings without any explanation or strategy on how to use them. There are countless ways these custom settings can be used. Only by indicating their behavior won't you show a clear picture and as you have titled "Basic indicators that are very helpful and you may don't know yet..." will give the audience a false impression as these indicators are widely popular and known by most of the traders. I was expecting some basic but new type of indicator which these aren't.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: September 30, 2023, 03:26:46 PM
Most of the novice traders took losses in trading due to their greed and emotion. If your knowledge and experience are not sufficient for trading then you will learn it the hard way by taking losses, but you will learn it anyway. On the other hand if you cannot control your emotions and greed no matter how experienced you are it will have disastrous results.

You need to be physiologically strong and need to have a strategy for your trade so that no matter what happens to the market you will stick to the plan.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: September 28, 2023, 09:04:43 PM
Manpower is a strength for a country if most of them are not old people and kids. We saw a country with a huge landscape with no manpower. They have the land and resources but no manpower to use it. With proper management and great manpower, a country's economy can be boosted. Vietnam can be a great example of that. Look at Chinese companies working all over the world for infrastructure development and other mega projects.
And this is a problem in Japan now.

Despite that they're a super country and one of the most advanced and high GDP globally, they're suffering this problem. Japanese people, most of them don't want to marry.

They just wanna get stuck into their jobs until they get old and no plans of getting married. AFAIK, it's the same in South Korea as well while the issue there is people find it expensive to raise kids.

This can be because of the environmental conditions in there. I have heard that someplace on the earth people don't have much desire for sexual activity. There can be other reasons as well like for the Japanese. The cost for marriage and raising kids is expensive due to their economic stagnation. Also they have a culture of working equality for men and women and for the baby care part, most of the burden goes to women only. So many women want to avoid marriage as they think there will be too much pressure on them.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: September 28, 2023, 08:30:53 PM
Unnecessary spending has become a bad habit in our community. People want to show off how rich they are. They think this shows their capability and ability to do whatever they want, but they end up in debt and broke. If your monthly expense is $40,000, then you need to have sources that can bear this consumption rate. People wanted to spend money on fancy things until their pockets were empty.

It almost depends on person affordability as poor people will never choose to buy branded clothes and shoes and they have faced problems therefore they never buy unnecessary things which just cause money wasting.

Whereas those who have lots of money will show themselves wealthy and they thing that there is difference of only branded clothes and shoes between wealthy and poor people which is not true because there are lots of wealthy individuals who use their money with planning and never waste any amount in those materials which they don't need.

We should reduce our expenses because if wo don't eliminate the Babbitt of using money more than our earning then one day we will have no money and will be in search of opportunity to at least earn to cover food expenses.

Then you won't believe me if I say poor people do the stupidest thing when they get some extra money. Do you ever think of why poor people remain poor when rich people increase their wealth every second?

When poor people got some fortune and some extra cash they got it hand they tried to fulfill their desire. Some wanted to go to a fancy restaurant, purchasing something that is liability, buy some new clothes, decorate their home etc. None of this can generate money for them when that money can be invested in some assets. Rich people buy assets and let those assets pay for their desires.

This is not because poor people do not want to increase their income. Their lack of knowledge and fear of investment made them do these things.
400  Other / Meta / Re: Let's Make The Merit Fun - Win Some Merits And Next Membership In The Meta Board on: September 28, 2023, 05:34:08 PM
There are a lot of forum members, who spend their free time in this forum. And sometimes forum life need some fun for development, so I think admin must make virtual roulette in the meta board with free spins for all members. So forum member make free spins and win - either merits or next membership each day, even hero and legendary membership. So this will be more attractive forum and not so serious.
The forum merits is one of the biggest admin mistakes, they are 100% useless, ( for example, forum member with IT higher education will almost always be step higher than any other member with just home made IT knowledge, so how can home educated forum member can give merits in IT field to member with university education ).
So I think this will make forum life more happy.

It's a good method of bringing more spammers into the forum! It doesn't matter if you are higher educated or not; as long as you are contributing to the forum, you will get some merit as appreciation. Why do you need merits in the first place if you think it was a mistake by the admin to introduce the merit system? It looks like you are not happy that your useless post is not getting enough merit to rank up so that you can join the BTC-paid signature campaign. Angry

This forum is not to make someone's life happy. It's a place for newcomers to bitcoin to learn about it. There are many boards in the forum that serve different purpose and for people from different backgrounds. There is an economy board, speculation, trading discussion, meta, Games and Rounds, Gambling, local board, politics, bitcoin, and WO(where all the fun stuff is going on Grin). Anyone without an IT background can do better in the forum as well. I rank up from the beginning, and my educational background is not in IT.
