381  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance: get rich or die trying on: December 29, 2023, 12:24:02 PM
This story is more about surveillance than wanting to get rich.
Basically US government wanted full 100% surveillance on all activities of all users from a centralized exchange called Binance, they didn't fully comply so they arrested CZ to show them how they mean business Cheesy
So now that there is a new CEO for Binance, does that mean that this new man already complied to everything the US government want? I guess they just replace CZ with someone they can control, Binance isn't as safe as when CZ was in control, now nothing is hidden to the government anymore.

This was why I had to abandon using the exchange too, because this was what came into my mind when I think about this whole show about Binance, I choose to stay with peer to peer trades from the time on.

No wonder some people don't want to go with KYC verification on every crypto exchanges, maybe in future there will be some crack down on every DEXes and also P2P platforms? With ETF approvals I believe that government will get their hands more deeper into crypto than before, their ultimate goal still remains the same, to control everything.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 29, 2023, 11:29:53 AM
Unbelievable, this is very hard to believe, because where is he going to park this car? Can he even secure a safe haven to keep this car from getting stolen? Or maybe there is a lot you don't know about this person, maybe they don't want you to know how much they worth.

Even if they are your friend it doesn't matter, because most times, people will judge you like you don't know what you are doing, don't mind OP, he could know what he is doing, I am certain you don't see all the pictures.

He might regret buying the car later but it shouldn't be your business or you will get replaced if he noticed that you are taking this seriously, if truly he is worth that much I am sure that he choose not to reveal a lot to you.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees have disappointed me today on: December 29, 2023, 09:26:42 AM
Bitcoin transaction fee has been disappointing me for months now, I always feel somehow when I am about to make some transaction in bitcoin, the first thing that come to mind is checking mempool out to get update on the present transaction fee and if it's not good enough I cancel the idea for another day.

I read where someone said that high transaction fee has nothing to do with bear or bull market, that it depends on how many people are transacting on the network at the time, well I refuse to accept this claim, to make someone who think this day to see reasons, a new bull market must emerge.

My Bitcoin wallet wants $18 per transaction out of the box and I have to always adjust to the numbers I am getting on mempool, the bull market will be more uglier than it is today, fingers crossed.

385  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are we expecting between now and Bitcoin halving? on: December 28, 2023, 04:58:43 PM
I'm waiting for the ETF. I believe that BTC will pump there a lot, not sure about hitting a new ATH. But I'm not planning to sell it yet anyway.

I advice you take some profit after the ETF approval, it's possible that Bitcoin will rise up to 60k after the ETF approval but a correction is sure to happen after, there isn't anything wrong taking profit and after a correction you can buy back some Bitcoin.

Like I have said few times already, if Black Rock plan to crash the market it could be that they have a plan after the ETF approval, but even if the ETF isn't expected Bitcoin will still correct itself before the Halving, so this is unavoidable.

Have your profit taking strategy in place, you can't lose out if you take profit.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Market overview for 2024 from BlackRock on: December 28, 2023, 01:06:15 PM
Something else is screaming hard into my ear, and that's SELF CUSTODY, don't play with this guys, Black Rock are well known for forcing their ways through everything they want to take control over, nowhere else is safe for your coins than your crypto wallet, keep your private keys private, and stay away from centralized entities.

What is coming in the coming year is unknown and many people wont be prepared for it, but I do believe that your coins will be a lot safer in your non-custodial wallet.

Also remember that, profit can only be realised if you secure them, assets don't always surge forever, take advantage of pumps and wait for dumps to increase the number of your satoshis.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODLers, When Will You Sell? on: December 28, 2023, 12:21:07 PM
Some people are fine holding Bitcoin for a very long time, I believe this is doable for them because they know that Bitcoin will keep appreciating in value or maybe it's because they are already financially free who knows?

I am a holder too and I don't plan on dumping all my bitcoin and go back to what actually? I am going to take some profits when Bitcoin makes a new all time high but this won't be the end, I am going to take profit to secure some funds and buy Bitcoin back after a while when price plummet.

For someone who is still struggling, it's understandable that they need to survive, and holding something value when the price is already surging doesn't solve anything, a profit secured is the real profit, but while you struggle to have a better life always give room to things that can make your future a better one.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 28, 2023, 10:31:23 AM
If you have 2k that you can spare for investment purposes, I will advice you to invest it into Bitcoin for now and don't stop there, some people can't afford this much and they are fine using $30 every month to invest in Bitcoin, you have no idea what's about to happen, with 2k invested in Bitcoin you can turn the money to  8k or 10k soon.

If you are looking forward to make six figures using this amount then you are on your own, because this is not possible any time soon, maybe some years down the road but not in this next bull market.

I prefer to DCA down the road for better numbers of Bitcoin because of price volatility, my advice is you should keep buying, don't let the 2k be your last step with Bitcoin, you will get better returns if you invest more money, I wish all the best, good luck.
389  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 27, 2023, 04:38:55 PM
Some are still active but I don't bother with them anymore because the amount you will get to claim per the time available, minutes to hours is not worth it, to reach your withdrawal limit will feel impossible.

That's not the only issue here, we are already screaming loud how crazy the Bitcoin transaction fee has gotten now, so with the small Bitcoin you gathered using a faucet platform how much are you going to use for withdrawal fee? Because I believe the transaction fee will be deducted from your Bitcoin wallet on the platform, this is why I believe that Faucets today are not worth your time and effort.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 27, 2023, 12:02:11 PM
You are to use only what you can afford to lose in any investment, they are all high risks, even if it's gold there are still some risks involved, what I strongly believe in is not putting all your eggs in one basket.

All investment plans can't fail, that's if you have money in other assets, still, your chances of winning increases if you pick the assets carefully by doing good research on them each, I have lost some money taking some risks but it's worth the effort because the little right picks of mine turn big success already.

It's fine to lose if you want to win, finding the right assets to invest your money on is never going to be a smooth journey, as you really can't tell which asset will deliver and which one will fail.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wiser? on: December 27, 2023, 10:29:08 AM
You don't just throw all your money into Bitcoin or any asset, it's a wrong move, price action gives you better opportunities if you DCA gradually, even if you have all the money it's still not a smart idea to go all in at once.

What happens if you run out of money and a much better price comes? You won't be able to take advantage because you've run out of money, even while I am confident that Bitcoin have passed it's Bottom price I still make sure that I have some money at hand just in case.

The confidence that a new Bottom can't happen is not a wise move, everyone have their predictions but most will not happen, because nobody is sure of what will happen tomorrow, it's safer to be prepared.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I found my Bitcoin books from 2016 on: December 27, 2023, 09:24:09 AM
@Slaman29 I don't know if this is coming too late already, but yes I do have my proof but sharing it on here feels somehow to me, because I bet some people knows me off the forum and I and trying to avoid them knowing my worth, if there is other way I can prove to you then it's on, at least we are here to share crypto knowledge, there are alts that have given me more than x10, and I have full confidence to reveal them to you, but not on the forum.

There are few I got that have killed double zeros already, mostly gaming projects, and I did took profits on few back into Bitcoin.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear of December dump is fading away - for Bitcoin on: December 26, 2023, 06:10:01 PM
A last dump can still happen, I am guessing in the next 100 days or even 150 days Bitcoin wi go back down to 30ish range, if you have anything to scope up this should be your last opportunity.

Many people are expecting this dump because in 2020 everyone believed that the bottom was already over and CoVID came to make a new bottom again but it doesn't take too long before it recovers, it was very fast.

I am not certain that we will dump heavily but anything is possible, if the ETFs do get approved I am positive that the dump won't be much, things can work differently this time, make sure you are fully prepared.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: December 26, 2023, 05:36:12 PM
Lack of understanding is why people will choose anything over Bitcoin, some people believe that they are wasting money when you ask them to invest in Bitcoin, and they are educated people, I expect them to do their own research but they have this crazy mindset and they don't want to see anything else work except Fiat currency.

To them, if it's not from the government then it's bad for them also, in a world of government corruption it's a shame that people are not thinking for themselves, the government who can seize everything that belongs to anybody if they want, there must be something that can make you two steps in control over the government, this is what Bitcoin have done for me.

Bitcoin grows in value and this is also another reason why I will surely choose Bitcoin over anything else, with the knowledge I have about Bitcoin I believe that buying Bitcoin will enrich me further because I understand how Bitcoin works.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen to Your Bitcoins When You Die? on: December 26, 2023, 03:01:34 PM
Some people are stone cold at heart, if something bad happens they don't care about placing their Bitcoin in the hands of another person, some people will rather die burying the secret of rich with them.

This doesn't make them bad, it's just that they don't trust people around them or maybe they don't have someone they really love enough to pass down their private key to, it's all about peoples different mindset and experiences in life.

Even rich men don't want to pass their properties and wealth down to their children, they believe it will weaken them and they won't be able to pursue their own dreams, some believe that the children won't know what it takes the parents to acquire wealth, so they will waste it all away.

I have seen a lot, but I plan to leave mine with my children, I had a ugly childhood and I plan to give my children the best lessons that will help them when growing up, I believe giving up your keys for the ones you love is the best thing you can do.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Accomplished What Brought You to Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2023, 02:16:10 PM
I have accomplished what brings me to Bitcoin, and that's the decentralization it offers, it's complete freedom from manipulative rulers in my country, Bitcoin was like what I really needed to avoid falling under the control of this centralized world.

I have some Bitcoin in holding and I am still thinking about retirement with Bitcoin as my sole backbone of financially free, this is something anyone can't complete because the idea of gathering more Bitcoin is never going to end, even those who are in control of million dollars are still accumulating Bitcoin.

For Bitcoin accumulation it's not over until it's over, make sure you know how to hold your Bitcoin like your life depends on it, because it's easier to buy Bitcoin but it's not easy to hold them safely and correctly, make sure you store yours offline.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your bitcoin to blackrock? on: December 25, 2023, 08:02:29 PM
Any resources you found on your land belongs to the state, if you sell it then you are playing with fire, no one from the legal side will pay for anything, it's illegal if they offer too much money, and of cos it's certain that they found something valuable on the land, you should seek for help, because in some country you can get killed for nothing and they will take everything they want from the land.

I will probably take the deal if there is no house on the land, 500k is already a lot of money but $2 million? That's insanely high, I hope they find what they are looking for, I will take the money and use almost all to invest in Bitcoin, even with 100k I will have a better life ahead of me.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don’t think bitcoin is now decentralized on: December 25, 2023, 07:07:58 PM
This has nothing to do with decentralized part of Bitcoin, out of the box Bitcoin is created decentralized and to protect the decentralized part it's on the adopters, well unfortunately people don't care, keeping your Bitcoin on any exchange means it's not a decentralize practice, and it's the same if you keep your private key online.

Bitcoin is decentralized and the way you use it will either keep it decentralized or centralized, that's in your hands, the problem you are talking about is high transaction fee and that's not about the decentralisation of Bitcoin.

What you don't know is, to keep the work on going miners need to be happy and that's what we are getting now with ordinals, I hope some solution comes that will make bitcoin a little bit easier to accumulate.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your take on this? on: December 25, 2023, 06:00:43 PM
Do not give banks any access to your crypto, they will try as much as possible to take control and make money off your asset, your digital assets are safer in your hands than anyone else, no banks is capable of keeping your coins safe and as for the government they are only good at taking advantage of others.

The last people you want to trust is the government, they are very good at manipulations, it's better to keep your involvement with crypto a secret, do not tell anyone and don't let any banks know too, we still aren't sure about the future, the government can come up something new to crack down on the crypto holders, and this is only possible is they are known.

Let's not for once forget the real reason why Bitcoin existed, it's not built for banks or the government to be in charge and monitor peoples bag, whatever the government might promise it can't be trusted.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina has officially approved the agreement to legalize the use of Bitcoin on: December 25, 2023, 04:41:04 PM
It's accepted for those who want to use it, but trust me, not everyone will want to use Bitcoin for means of payment, or even accept it as means of settlement, because it seems many people don't know how crazy the Bitcoin transaction fee has become.

Not all people in the country will be able to afford using Bitcoin as payment option, some will prefer to use other alternative options and I won't blame them, it cost too much to use Bitcoin as money right now and we are just getting started, because very soon it will pissed many newbies off and they will have to choose other digital currencies instead of Bitcoin.
