381  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: AltCoins hypes re similar to politicians promises during campaigns on: May 09, 2024, 09:29:20 PM
AltCoins are like the media being hijacked by the by the government.
They acts like the politicians with their unfulfill able promises during campaigns. They just go about spreading what the people needed to hear because they knows the truth would always be bittered and discouraging.
Omo Op your comparison weak me but no be lie e con be like say altcoin promises con pass politicians promises.Altcoins na crypto wey de hype dey motivate investors wey no know where their stand. As i join dis forum I dey hear altcoins mata so I see no reason investing on altcoins wey Bitcoin dey.The truth of de mata be say altcoins go always make their promises look so real to be called scam.Ponzi scheme dey real, normally some people wan learn from experience which na the best teacher, dem say if something neva do you,you no go know,as our senior rank members dey yan altcoins mata anybody wey wan invest on altcoins fit learn from experience.
Sometimes no be the altcoins sef be ma problem na the way many people wey no even sabi anything about cryptocurrency go dey promote some worthless altcoins project just because the bull market is here and even the exchanges sef sometimes dey also add this sudden hype because the amount of new projects being launch everyday this period sef go make these people dey think and get believe say altcoins nai be the main Koko but then say na until you taste  am you no go no how e dey feel.

If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do?
Well I feel like quoting only the topic because it's a very important question. However, many gamblers feels sad when they lose money on bets because they can't afford to lose what they gambled. And some gambler doesn't feel bad when they lose their bets because they gamble wisely.
There is no doubt that the after results to Gambling is always heart breaking that's if you are on the losing side but when its the latter the case is also different. But the truth is that only some gamblers suffer from this as you have stated clearly and those set of persons are the crazy gamblers that tend to put their hopes on gambling to give profits on their every try but the one thing most gamblers forget is that this gambling of a thing especially the casino is a business and you can't expect the business owner to lose so that's why losing is a fixed thing in gambling it's boils down to how well you are able to cope with it.

Please guys show me love via merit eeh
Read what established members are posting, check their topics. Use this time to learn more than to be looking for merits. If you continue like this with low quality posts, you will not rank up.
He has already started the forum with wrong mentality and it would be very hard for him to meet up with the standards of his post to be merit deserving except he works extremely hard by reading and educating himself. The forum is a place that appreciate people works by meriting their posts and replies so I would just advice you not to be this merit bound and think of educating yourself more first.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Using A Journal, Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling? on: May 09, 2024, 09:16:51 PM

Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
No I don't have a journal or a spreadsheet period for me gambling is all about entertainment and having fun period anything more than this is getting addicted and needs to be nipped in the bud. The only time I can think about having a spreadsheet for gambling is to record my budget and how much I spent on gambling per month and have a total of it and the end of every year. I consider this part of my personal finances plan.
Am even shocked hearing this that some person actually do have or keep records of their gambling games because I don't know of such thing, for me it's all for the moment with my gambling habits. Although when the loses do get to me, I sometimes do a little calculation in my head just to get the figures straight.😁😁
385  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: May 09, 2024, 09:13:23 PM
That's some crazy amount of cash you keep mentioning there, am just curious to know if he is up and dealing with such cash flow in his gambling wouldn't that kinda make him addicted quickly or is he just doing ads for bc.game, please share some insight because am a bit confuse with all the huge calls of heavy funds.

Dude is already an addict - Imagine telling your parents that you’ve just won $75k and then going back to them to tell them that you’ve lost it again, that shit is crazy. And the funny thing is that he also withdrew the money to his non-custodial wallet before he went back to loss everything.

The fact that he was bold enough to roll $4000 in a single go says so much about him - dude was no longer thinking during the first phase when he was winning, he just kept switching from 1k to 4k as if he was wagering $5.
That's too bad because I was also shocked at seeing that he lost such money after he had grown it from scratch I mean it's just so annoying and I just can't imagining myself being in the shoes of this fellow because $75k isn't any small money although I know there are some gamblers that waste that kind of funds just for the sake of having fun while gambling but this his case I think it's very different.
386  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Hope yah still accumulating and holding. on: May 08, 2024, 10:07:34 PM
Person wey sell em Bitcoin now Na loose guard oo, the market still dey a bit tricky. And you wey sell now fit end up to dey at serious loss, because the hype towards this year bull for after the halving Na something else, and that alone fit cause FOMO to make many investors enter into the buy wey go make the pump start early. It has already been estimated that the price of Bitcoin after the halving go touch the range of $100k-$150k and that Na more than x2 wey many investors no go like miss. Some person sef get the mind to hold for long but when social media influencer don start to dey put pepper for the matter e go come make some of them dey sell, meanwhile dem no go return back everything when the price dip. This period an time wey things hard, and anything wey go make you sell your Bitcoin, you fit no put all back again because of one problem or the other. Problem no dey finish so Na who wise Na go maintain em finance well.
387  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Which country is wiser? on: May 08, 2024, 10:03:37 PM
Nigeria or India?

Nigerian government blocked all exchanges website, went after Binance naira P2P, but left mobile app of the exchanges to be accessible. Binance officials came to Nigeria but they defend them. One escaped but they still want to make Binance pay fine.

India blocked the exchange websites. Later told Google and Apple to remove the exchanges from their app store. They have no one to arrest. Kucoin or so (please correct me if wrong) was given license. Recently Binance dialogued with them and wanted or maybe has paid 2 million fine.

Finance and many other exchanges can not afford to leave Nigeria also. According to Chainanalysis, Nigeria emerged as the number one in 2 trading all over the world and we adopt cryptocurrencies generally.

We are in 2024. There are ways to handle some cases without detention and lawsuit.
Till date am still suprised to how Nigeria is actually handling the whole chain of events because they are other approach they would have taken that would have even yielded good results rather than going for the means they took. In a case like this I feel India is definitely the smarter one Nigeria because they had the open sight to understand the benefits that comes if there just follow the right path.
388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do they always attack the newbies? on: May 08, 2024, 09:27:13 PM
We all started from the scratch and we're all here to learn, but their are some people that sees newbies as a disturbance to forum. I started like a newbie infact we all started like a newbie and gradually we all grow to the rank we're now. So I'll advise to those people seeing the newbies as if they're here to harm others please we're here to learn more about cryptocurrency, we all have a target on here.

Op I understand your point and it's obvious here In this forum how most newbies are treated, but that is because most newbies are just obviously chasing after merits hence most of their posts are just Hypocritically obvious. Trying to act as a pro or an island of knowledge when you are just spamming the forum is quite annoying, and that's one rules that shouldn't be joked with, as it has lead so many accounts to ban or tags. As a newbie your primary purpose is to learn before making contribution, but most newbies make the mistake of skipping the learning part and just go straight to hunting merits, which is absolutely wrong.
389  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: May 08, 2024, 09:15:37 PM
Well it may not be so easy to help beginners,The only thing I could advise is to guide them and tell them the truth about gambling because everybody have their different grace and intention on gambling have their opinions advice to let them whatever that comes out. That is what it is for them default challenges different times of strategies. They are going to win. They should be the best  option for them, yes, it is good to help advice and guide. What are the same time that is what make them stronger and complain to decide if they should contain gambling or not so they will not end up, living another man faith in gambling.

Advising the person before they even get Into gambling would be the best idea or way to helping them escape addiction. Most gambler get into gambling based on the result their friends or relatives get from gambling and that to an ordinary person might think motivation is the key way of succeeding or even trying to make millions over of their bets. Though it's possible as such scenarios have occurred before but that was luck speaking, and not everyone has that same luck. And one thing I've observed from gambling is, the way it tricks newbies by making them have some couple of wins at their initial stage of gambling.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 08, 2024, 08:59:11 PM
I don't live my life to try to impress any one, so fuck anyone who tries to say shit behind my back, I don't fucking care. Besides they are not the one paying my bills. In this life, I've come a findings that when you keep living to someone elses expectations, you might even end up forsaking your purpose while helping them fulfil theirs. It's quite unfortunate how some persons are just Hippocrates, trying to cover up with the image of good friend and yet they are the back stabbers praying for your downfall. I'm not after making myself wealthy over night of gambling and that why I don't gamble irresponsible or even getting addicted along the journey.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: May 08, 2024, 08:33:07 PM
Op with the experience I've had and seen on gambling, I can't attest to the fact that gambling is mostly unlucky for those who spend more time gambling. There are some persons who have thought they can actually guess or know how the casino works by studying the games and the possibility or occurrence  based on the time and and odds available. And I must say some of them who I've come across are actually a bit successfully with their predictions based on the theory they are building on that repetition of odds or time and actually create same result or similar results.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: May 07, 2024, 10:36:11 PM
Well you cut out the rest of my post, and my overall sentiment was that hopefully you do not end up selling too much BTC too soon with your seeming inclination to want to try to play the wave.  Maybe that kind of an approach will work and allow you to not end up with less BTC than what you could have had, otherwise... if that is what you care about versus if you just want to get some dollars that may well not end up holding their value very well

Imo, I don't think we should be bothering ourselves with such matter as an long-term holder, concerning if bitcoin going to hit a new ATH or not . Though they may be high chances of bitcoin hitting a new ATH and all that . But is also a possibility for Bitcoin to start dipping, but still we are expecting something huge from bitcoin but still we can't tell . But that's shouldn't me we should sell either, we just have to hold and keep accumulating, and to me is a good thing that Bitcoin haven't create the massive ATH everyone has been waiting for, for now . Because delay is actually given us more opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin stashes for holding.
I believe before anyone gets involved in starting an investment, he or she must have done some research and most importantly, he or she must have atleast a target frame he would like to achieve before thinking of the act to sell your coins. Before now I would argue that most persons weren't of the simple understanding and knowledge that's follows when the plan for your HODLings is actually pinned at long term purpose but with all the past experience and journey Bitcoin has undergone the believe that something huge is building can't be denied anymore so now it just boils down to how you prepare yourself and again despite the everything that's happening to Bitcoin, the fact is still clear that Bitcoin is always moving upwards even when it's dipping that's only if you get what I mean, so selling because of the fear of Bitcoin not going up just not and never a good choice but once again the choice is yours you can make do with it anyhow but be rest assured that there is also a word called regret.
393  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: May 07, 2024, 10:28:33 PM
Luck is not something that comes all the time and that's what makes it special when it comes to you while you are gambling, some people cheat when they gamble and they said is luck which are all lies but inside them they already know that it want luck but cheating.
However I was lucky to win a bet with my last stake some days ago and I am happy for that, that's why I have to bring it here let's discuss about it, whether you have also win some amount of money with your last stake. I went to a betting shop around my locality then I bet with $10 and lose all of them so I was holding  up to $1 separately for transporting my self back to my residence, but funny how I staked with my transport money and won.
Although, I had more money on  my account that I can use for transporting my self back to my house if incase I lost the physical cash, that was why I wasn't afraid to stake with it.

Well the part I would like to highlight more in your statement is the fact that you said people actually cheat when gambling, I don't know how to relate to the context of this statement but I presume I would really like it if you would explain more to how this is possible because I believe if there is chance that people can manipulate the system to their favor, then probably every gambler would be doing that rather than waiting all day, weeks, months and even years for that luck to come knocking at your door
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 07, 2024, 10:24:20 PM
Because nowadays the younger ones take gambling more seriously then school. Yesterday i got back home early so I decided to step out and go to a betting shop to catch some fun while gambling, I saw two teenagers gambling with their school uniforms on them.

I asked someone besides me why did they allow this boy's to come in with their uniforms and gamble, he said did they put any restrictions that younger ones are not allowed to gamble. I said but it's not normal, I replied him what if this are your kids would you be happy seeing them gambling with their uniforms on them. So what do you guys think about this situation at hand now.
Well that experience you had or saw wouldn't be the same in everywhere and I believe why this is occuring more frequently is maybe due to the poor regulations on gambling in the particular area you are staying and I believe this is also similar with the way teens are going about with their gambling habits in my country. Gambling is some countries are strictly prohibited and regulated so that a specific age limit is observe although I understand that these regulations can't all be the same when we relate it to online gambling.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you successfully influenced someone to invest in bitcoin ? on: May 05, 2024, 09:38:14 PM
Taking someone into Bitcoin investment can be a bit tasking especially when the person initially has no knowledge about Bitcoin, then you begin to start explanation form scratch, and if the person is slow learner you'll have to dedicate more time and effort in explaining to his understanding. But the process is nothing compared to when the person begins to take the learning really serious and make his first investment and then keep a good healthy investment and accumulation. There is this joy that you feel after getting all the result from your guidance.
396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can we do to make Bitcoin hit $100k on: May 05, 2024, 08:57:39 PM
Patients is the only way to succeed in this line of field. It's possible the crypto market can be manipulated to arrive at the $100k but just like what happens after gray-scale manipulated the price of Bitcoin by selling off a very huge amount and the drastic dump that followed
It is also possible to buy a very large amount of bitcoin to influence a massive pump. One true fact about manipulating the market movement is, after you must hav successfully done your part and you influenced a pump or dump, this trend would only last for a while, and the duration depends on the intensity of how well you have triggered a change, that is, how much Bitcoin you bought or sold. But the most important thing is, it doesn't last for long, and the market will get back to its initial position.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: May 05, 2024, 08:43:38 PM
Gambling in a hall with a mentally unstable person is quite uncomfortable for my liking, because it could be an act of selfishness for the gambling attendant to still give service to a mentally unstable person when they know that the person isn't in the right state of mind to make good selections. From the description from the op, it's obvious the person was mentally illed, and him been able to compose emself doesn't necessary mean that he is stable in gambling selection. Be might pretend to be fine because he/she knows that he'll be kicked out if he causes any trouble. Such person should be deprived the right of playing gamble, since they can just end up being a n irresponsible gambler.
398  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 05, 2024, 08:10:04 PM
The answer to how much you can use for gambling monthly all depends on how much you earn as a worker. Because 5% can be seen a a huge amount for some persons while 5% can also be less than $100 for some persons, and your expenses is still an unknown factor so I can't really dictate for you how much you are to use for gambling, but all I have to say is, after setting all your bills and expenses for the month, then that's when you can set aside a particular amount to be used for gambling. And when setting aside funds for gambling, you must also ensure use too much for gambling should in case of emergency and other unforseen circumstances.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 05, 2024, 07:48:40 PM
If casinos stop demanding KYC it will definitely make more gamblers to access their websites as most gamblers hate passing through KYC especially when there is a system glitch in their KYC application. And that will give access to kids and underaged person to the gamble on their site. Some casinos today only ask if you are 18+ and that's all, there is no way for them to verify if it's actually true or not, and that's one of the reasons why some governmental regulations place bans on some online casino and gambling sites. Assuming KYC was not demanded in exchanges, some criminal would have gotten away with some stolen funds.
400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does it mean the poor can't breath anymore? on: May 04, 2024, 09:36:26 PM
Criticism will definitely come as we all make mistakes, but the most important thing is how you handle the criticism you get from people. Often time they are actually right about what they criticise you as a newbie for, and that is because they are far ahead of you in learning and in understanding. So take criticism as a advise for correction. When. I saw your topic I was expecting something different but when I began to read through the thread I discovered that the topic is far from what the thread conveys, this is an observation that needs to be worked on to become a good poster. The ability to make a good post and share your ideas all start from your topic to the body. I saw a post saying that you have been corrected to stop the conflict between your topic and thread but yet you still keep doing it over and over again, take correction and watch your growth in all area of your life.
