Actually what do you want to mean by saying "despite all the funding from the ICC"? It can be said without any doubt that the amount of money ICC gives to Zimbabwe cricket board they are not using with full potential. Also, the cricket board is not competent. They are thinking about how to steal as much money as they can. It is 100% sure they are not concerned about the performance of the team.  Otherwise, the team could have been in a very different and better position compared to where they are right now. And Zimbabwe was actually really good at a time.  But because of the cricket board, the team actually have been destroyed.

Hobart Hurricanes Vs Melbourne Stars
Today Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars faced each other in the 38th match of the Big Bash League. Despite winning the toss and deciding to bowl, Melbourne Stars could not put up much resistance against Hobart Hurricanes. Hobart Hurricanes managed to score 86 runs in the opening pair, extending their score to 187/8. Melbourne Stars' opening came under pressure when both batsmen were dismissed for 31 runs. This match was repeatedly stopped due to rain, due to which the Zimbabwean team did not perform well not only for this match. The few T20I and ODI match performances with Sri Lanka in the past have been poor in almost all matches. As Zimbabwe lost all wickets at 97 runs, they could not rely on any player to hold the wickets patiently.

Australians are true professionals and their cricket board is very supportive of their players. And that is also one of the reasons why Australian players are some of the highest paid cricketers in the world. Indian players on the other hand are swimming in wads of cash, but they focus more on showoff rather than professionalism. And now coming to West Indies, I am not sure whether they can be competitive against the Australians. They performed poorly in the tour match against Cricket Australia XI (which didn't had any player with international experience).

Zimbabwe batsman could not worked hard and struggle and not make runs.A target of 98 is not a big target.  Their batsmen did not show interest and struggle.  And did not give a difficult target.Sri Lanka bowler bowling very well and get the all wicket and get the easy target.Yes you are right.  Even if the Sri Lankan batsmen don't work and struggle they can score 98 runs in 50 overs.This is a great achievement for the Sri Lankan bowler as he worked hard and struggled to bowl all the Zimbabwe batsmen.if Zimbabwe batsman make 200 run they won the match.Then how well could the Zimbabwe bowlers control the Sri Lankan batsmen. It was a tough competition I would say. Indian team was full with inexperienced players. So it was not that easy to predict who was winning the match. We need to praise Shivam Dube really well. He performed better than Hardik Pandya. He was good at batting as well as he did decent bowling. I was just slightly disappointed with Rohit Sharma on that run out. Nevertheless in the 2nd T20I, King Kohli will join the squad and will make the team even stronger.

In the third one-day match between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, the Zimbabwean batsmen batted very badly and the Zimbabwean team was bowled out for just 96 runs. We all can see the batting failure of Zimbabwe against Sri Lanka. If the Zimbabwe team could have batted well then they would have easily won against Sri Lanka in the second ODI match. But since the first match Zimbabwe team is suffering from batting failure. In today's match, the Zimbabwe team has batted very badly, Zimbabwe managed to collect only 96 runs in the scheduled 27 overs. Even if the Sri Lankan batsmen play very badly, they will easily win today's match with a target of 97 runs. There is no chance of Zimbabwe winning today's match, Sri Lanka will easily win today's match.

Afghanistan were able to put pressure on India early on as they managed to run out the wicket of Rohit Sharma. A target of 159 runs is not bad at all as Afghanistan's bowling line is quite stronger than India's as if Afghanistan's spinners especially Mujeeb ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi can bowl controlled and fall four or 5 wickets before 50 then Afghanistan will have a chance to win.

An warm up is being held between Cricket Australia XI and West Indies. Batting first, West Indies scored 251 runs to declare their innings in this warm-up cricket match. Later when Cricket Australia came to bat, they were all out for 174 runs in 54.4 overs. Now again West Indies are batting in their second innings and they have collected 56 runs for the loss of two wickets in 12 overs.Based on the performance of this warm up match it is understood that the West Indies team is going to present a good series against the Australian team. I don't think the toss is going to be that crucial. Because India is far better than Afghanistan. Well, it is t20, so Afghanistan might be actually a competitive opponent for India. I still think India is going to be the winner. Maybe if Afghanistan has the toss and gives a good target they might have a chance. But we also know that India is pretty good at chasing. WI is a more pathetic team than Srilanka, they failed to qualify for the ODI World Cup. They are not that good in test cricket and are ranked below Srilanka in test ranking. They do not have batters with mentally strong enough to play long innings and they lack specialist bowlers for long formats. There was a time when they dominated both test and ODI and that time has long passed. Australia is the best team in the world in test cricket and the possibility of a whitewash cannot be denied in the upcoming series.
