381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 06, 2024, 12:18:27 AM
I use a paid VPN and access Gamdom.com without any issues. They are no Kyc and wd usually take 5 minutes or less. Obviously, if you're doing some shady activities they might flag your account, but that's every casino.
382  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 05, 2024, 06:54:19 PM
As Helena Yu has already guessed, this thread had to do with a "vouch" from a trusted member buwaytress. I wanted honest opinions from everyone of their interpretation of the word as a certain situation was unfolding that has now calmed. Either way I feel it's a teaching moment for everyone because sometimes actions may have consequences.

Hello.

I'm the member who'll vouch for OP's authenticity. I know him personally. He is a gambler with significant member levels in crypto casinos. Newly introduced to bitcointalk. I was the one who asked him to sign up to the forum.

OP wagers heavy, on favourable deposit conditions offered to him at casinos thanks to his membership levels. Those bonuses help him with his strategy. My understanding is he takes on a certain risk exposure, which he has collateral for elsewhere, but has limited capacity to free it up quickly because of fiat concerns.

What I am not doing with this "vouch" is providing any form of guarantee or taking any responsibility for potential deals. My vouch is purely on OP's authenticity, as a personal favour. This is not advice to take him up on his offer. Gambling is high-risk. OP balances that with his favourable conditions, but it doesn't eliminate risk.

All conditions would be up to potential takers to negotiate directly with OP. I recommend a brief but clear contractual agreement to cover specifics such as timeline, payments, and what happens in the event OP loses that deposit.

buwaytress was just helping his friend out and left a disclaimer he isn't offering any form of guarantee. Problem is potential lenders may not see it that way. I realize that ultimately the deal is between the lender and the borrower. Not telling everyone not to vouch for someone, but be prepared to accept consequences if something should happen because of your words.
383  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 05, 2024, 03:38:51 PM

For me the loan is unrealistic, if he can make money from gambling, he can do it using his own money.
I'm not sure why you felt the need to dig or be curious the reason for the question. You needed a gold star? I wanted opinions without giving context so the opinion wasn't biased. You may have thought you were being cool, but in fact you just ruined the question and all other comments from this point on will be tainted. Way to go!!! In the future please avoid my topics if you're going to try to get a gold star.
384  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 04, 2024, 10:38:03 PM
I will give more context in a few days, everyone is free to leave their opinions and there is no wrong answer. Just curious what people think of that specific word. There have been some great replies so far for both sides. On the weekend I will post why I asked the question.
385  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 03, 2024, 11:33:16 PM
I can vouch for the disingenuous question the O.P. is asking.
I got curious and took you off unignore for a second. It's pretty sad that you have lowered yourself basically to the level of an internet troll here on the forum. You ruined yourself and now just troll users for what reason? I'm sorry you fell you are more important than you are, you may as well just go hang out in a local board cause nobody here really gives a damn about you these days. The way you act lately because of your own actions knocking you down, is pitiful. Such a waste!!
386  Economy / Reputation / Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 03, 2024, 06:57:27 PM
Throughout my whole life I have always thought that if you "vouch" for someone, then you are telling people that you trust that person. You also agree to take responsibility for that persons actions.

Now to my question. If you "vouch" for someone that they are trustworthy and they take a loan, is the person who vouched putting their reputation on the line? If you didn't trust a person to repay, why would you "vouch" for them?

Curious to see what others say about this.
387  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abuse / Account farm on: March 03, 2024, 01:12:08 PM
Sometimes it baffles me seeing people leaving what they should do to start looking for what doesn't concerned them at any point, though from my own little understanding merits are for spending and not for holding besides it might decay over there so, if someone gives out merits it shouldn't be a thing to question where I am only concerned about is theymos saying people shouldn't begged for merits excessively. However those accounts are very low(no reputation, or creativity that leads to such heavy dumps) to receive such volume of merits at a go meanwhile for my period of being active in this forum I have never come across someone's doing a massive dump on my profile 💁. Or are mine too ugly for someone not to show such kind gesture to me lemme have the taste of what it's to receive a heavy wind?
There are many reasons someone starts looking into things that don't really concern them.

Someone could be trying to make a name for themselves as a scambuster, someone got mad at a friend and wants to expose they are running am account farm, someone is looking out for the community, they just have nothing better to do.

Generally, I don't think anyone should be wasting their time looking for merit abuse alone. If the merit abuse also exposes a cheater of some sort(besides the merits), then it might be worth exposing. Most of these people are just trying to rank up accounts fast so they can join a sig campaign.

388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 02, 2024, 10:12:42 PM
I was tempted to throw the Denver Nuggets in there beating the Los Angeles Lakers, but the spread was so close it had me thinking that I must be missing some information about the game (injuries, etc.).

It was really tempting but it looks like a trap. Looking at the injury report of the Nuggets , there are only 2 main players that are not possibly playing.

Caldwell-Pope - Ques Sat - Personal
J. Murray - Ques Sat - Ankle

if Murray will be out, that would be a huge one, and Lakers will be taking advantage on it especially that they have been doing pretty well in their last 10 games which they have a 7-3 record.
Lakers been on a heater and looking to make a push before the playoffs start. No way I would be against them right now. Denver with Murray out is like you said, huge, and gives the advantage to the Lakers.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 02, 2024, 07:45:17 PM
When everything's going well, it's cool. But sometimes (often?) money problems lead to divorce. Suppose your spouse/husband gambles a lot, his or her loss/profit ratio is acceptable (so it's fine), but then one day he or she has bet it all and lost it all. You've got nothing left (and no savings either). What's your reaction? Has this ever happened to you?
If you're not bitching when they're winning, you shouldn't be bitching if they're losing or lost it all. Seem hypocritical to do so IMO. You either support them 100% or you get them help no matter if winning or losing. Cannot have it both ways.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com - unethical practices on limitting losing players on: March 02, 2024, 07:26:10 PM
Are you only limited on the 1 sport, or are you limited for all sports? I think royse is right as far as the provider limts you, not the website itsself.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 02, 2024, 06:54:27 PM
Anytime I put money on a game I am not putting 5 cents on it or there is no point. I want to bet enough to get my interest in the games I bet on and make it more exciting for me. If you have a lack of interest, then why bet at all?
392  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi.com scammed 0.125BTC on: March 02, 2024, 05:31:07 PM
Of course, Betnomi will never pay to winners.
This scamsite always give excuses so they can steal money from their customers.
yahoo62278 is also involved in this scam, since he took money to defend Betnomi and started a poker thread trying to mislead customers.
Now you just look stupid. I helped run a poker series for them yes, and they paid everyone in that series 100%. Nothing I did led to anyone getting scammed. Betwrong did leave his money on the site for an extended period of time and then the site went offline. That is on him, he should have wd when he was paid and he wouldn't have faced that issue.

You are really an asshole for trying to involve me in a sites scam accusation. I know you only know how to post negatively but keep your focus on the website that you dislike, not on me. Honestly, i suppose I don't really care about your opinion. Carry on pal I'll not be responding to you any longer, welcome to the ignore list.
393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi.com scammed 0.125BTC on: March 02, 2024, 12:10:35 PM
Betnomi already responded to you in their refund thread and basically said you are not getting paid.

@Get-Paid.com Sent you a letter

@nutters, we understand you are trying to paint a rosy picture here. The idea that casinos limit players who are winning is pretty laughable and clearly uninformed. The casino's revenue is dependent on the long-term playing of the users.

It is in the casino's interest for the user to play as much as possible. For the Sportsbook, the one and only reason a user will ever get limited is if they are engaged in fraud of some kind. The fact that you got limited is a clear indication you were engaged in fraud.

The casino sets an acceptable liability that determines the user's limit by default. If the user plays normally, the casino is betting the user will lose long term. If the user is engaged in fraud, the casino needs to take action to protect itself by limiting the user. We hope you learn something today.

You only made the withdrawal request because you got limited, and you got limited because you were engaged in fraud.

If you are required to complete KYC on your withdrawal, it is not simply because you requested a withdrawal. It is a result of your previous actions (fraud).

About the whole KYC thing and your inability to complete it, we used a third-party KYC provider (Veriff). It is an automated system and available 24/7. If you failed it, it's usually due to a few reasons:

1. Fake documents
2. Already did verification
3. Using unsupported documents

Passing or failing the KYC has nothing to do with our services or systems. This is 100% dependent on the provider we used, which is one of the best in the world.

You will have fewer problems in the future if you avoid abusing other Sportsbooks.
394  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 01, 2024, 04:05:56 PM
The high rate of gamblers who take loan for gambling purposes is quite alarming, and most of them are fathers to kids. Most of them don't end up taking care of their debt before passing. What happens to the funds, when the lender comes for his money? It's quite a tough one for a person who isn't a gambler to inherit a trouble from a gambling dad. Such things also increase the anger of the society on gamblers, because the addicts are, also, good at extending their problem gambling to other close relatives. Could it be talked through in the law court?
If you're borrowing from the mafia or a loanshark then it's possible they will transfer the debt to you or break some limbs, not sure you can take it to court though and be forced to pay a gambling debt.

I guess it would all depend on the contract you signed, would be incredibly irresponsible of you to sign a document stating your family will pay your debt in the event you die somehow.
395  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: March 01, 2024, 12:00:12 PM
Well they do have to get their quotas in for their campaigns. People do not read replies period.
I used to respect your opinion as you are a reputable member in the forum. But I'm wondering in which basis you are blindly believing on Betnomi representative (Sorsis) words and saying that we are just posting here to meet our sig campaign quote! You have to look into the details instead of addressing us in this way.

Betnomi is still holding those users fund who had large balance. They accused some users and doing an investigation on some other users account now (with a large balance). The 'gentleman Sorsis' sold our email address to the spammers. Sorsis and his team have kicked out some victims from their telegram group who had complained about their stuck funds in the initial stage. They have also disabled the messages in their telegram group. This isn't a successful refund attempt by them. Still, they marked this thread as solved.

Feel free to not respect my opinion all you want, I am right in saying that there are a high number of users that DO NOT care to read other replies. They DO NOT have any money coming, yet they still post in this thread. I cannot say that they cannot or shouldn't have an interest in posting about the refund status, but I feel like they don't.

What sorsis says period I DO NOT believe. He left the forum hanging for months and then came back with some BS story. He doesn't care about the users of this forum IMO. He makes up this story, tries to save face, and immediately tries to open a new site with a token sale. I cannot say 100% they will scam, but I would be skeptical playing there.
396  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 01, 2024, 10:29:25 AM
When you have one or more children, you have heavy responsibilities. Sometimes you're on a tight budget. Can being a parent change our playing habits? Are losses even harder to bear when you're in charge of a family? What are your experiences in this area?
If you have children and you are spending your bill money, food money, or anything else that should be used for your family then IMO you're a moron and a waste of human life. 1st responsibility should be to your family, then if you have the extra, you can gamble a little.

We cannot take anyone seriously who doesn't even bother to read a page or two before commenting. An issue will be explained extensively, and a few comments later, another person is back asking the same issue, making it seem like the questions are not being answered. If you have any kind of interest in the subject, it behooves you to read before you comment. If you think it's not worth your time to understand the context from previous comments, then it is not worth our time responding to you.

Thank you all for your understanding.
Well they do have to get their quotas in for their campaigns. People do not read replies period.

398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: February 29, 2024, 06:40:11 PM
Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?

In my case, I keep betting on tennis whenever I have spare money on my casino balance from my VIP rewards(Rakeback) after my long game session on live games. I’m not really a fan of sports betting in general but I do place bet randomly on tennis especially the Asian Handicap on live match. I’m always betting on the underdog that already has 1 set advantage to the favorite players. I do this bet just for fun no string attached.

I believe this is the literal definition of “gamble what you can afford to lose”.  Grin

Def gambling using the method you say. You realize that some of the pros don't play hard in the 1st set and turn it on in the 2nd and 3rd sets. They try to feel out their opponent. Least that's what I feel is happening.

Back to your question, sometimes I like to bet on the underdog coming back in a basketball game. I have bet the Golden State Warriors many time to come back from down 20 around halftime. Last night some could have won money betting the Lakers to come back and beat the Clippers. Lakers were down 21 and came back to win by 4. Sometimes a longshot gamble pays off.
399  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag - cannot login to my account, no response from their representatives on: February 29, 2024, 05:04:35 PM

One trick that these players use is essentially extortion. They create a BitcoinTalk post, because they have studied what happens and know that it will put pressure on books to at least return the deposit. This is why when we return a player’s deposit for abuse, we say that any future accounts will have funds withheld, including deposit. That’s what we told this player last time he was caught. To the people who say it is stealing to take the deposit, think about it like this. If someone creates 10 accounts and 5 get past us, he gets the winnings on those 5 and the deposits back on the other 5. He can continue to create accounts endlessly, while risking nothing (these players do not lose). Betcoin.ag does not seize the winnings of a first-time abusive player. Betcoin.ag does not seize the winnings or deposit of a person who innocently or accidentally creates multiple accounts.

Our message here is clear. This is a repeat abusive player. Last time he created a scam accusation, he was rewarded with a returned deposit. This time, it will not happen. Obviously, his reply will be that he is not a repeat abusive player. To that, we say that any player with a dispute can contact our licensor or a 3rd party mediator and we will be happy to show them the evidence. We have never lost a mediation, because we have never closed an account without clear evidence of misuse.

100% fair IMO that users should incur some sort of penalty otherwise there is no accountability and they will assrape you forever. As long as you have proof and can show it to a mediator if used, then you should have no worries.

And to follow up on betcoin.ag's answer -> my request towards betcoin.ag representative is quite simple:

either
a) unlock my account (if you need any private account info, I am obviously able to provide)
b) provide me with information why my account is locked and I was not notified since, either via my registered e-mail address, or even here, AND PROVIDE legitimate reasoning and proofs to anything you insist on
c) if you fail to provide or manage to do mentioned above, we will do 3rd party mediation (I am very curious how will you provide what you claim that happened, because none of this simply exists...) Any requests of me asking to give back deposits etc... they do not exist, so good luck with that

Hopefully, you will be able to support your attacks against me, or people around can make their own impressions of how your business is working and how you handle with your customers.

Let me know further steps, thank you.
They responded to you. If you disagree then get the mediation started. Posting multiple times in a row is not going to help you here. If you are going to go into a community and ask for help, at least read the rules of that community and try not to break them.
400  Economy / Gambling / Re: coins.game confiscated 32,800 dollars of my money and blocked the user!!! on: February 29, 2024, 04:36:17 PM
I am not a fan of the 1 account per IP excuse to not pay a player. Some people have a belief that an account is cursed and want a new account. Assuming that a person is not collecting multiple bonuses on an account and cheating the house, I do not see why multiple accounts aren't allowed? If they are making multiple accounts and taking advantage of 1st time deposit bonuses or whatnot, then they could have a case.

I am not saying the OP is innocent of anything here, nor am I calling the casino a scam at this point. Would be nice to hear both sides, but if their rep hasn't been online for a month, the odds are not likely that we will get their side.
