Some altcoins can give you big profits as Bitcoin if you hold for long term, Ethereum is one of the projects that has big potential like Bitcoin and should be an investment that we'll hold for longterm. Ethereum has alot of utility as many project are operating using the Ethereum Blockchain therefore it'll always have a reason to be wanted by investors and developers but many others altcoin aren't worthy to be invested into for long term therefore you can invest in them for a short term.
Investing in trends can give you profits if you pick the right trend and coin to invest into at the perfect timing. Trends always have alot of money moving into them therefore they give Investors big profits in a very short time. Trends are for when you want to make quick profits as they can make you money quick but also know that they can make you to lose when you don't sell and take profits but continue holding.

According to history of Bitcoin, there is always a pre bull run before the halving, and after the halving come price correction, and then the expected bull run as usual. So his year might not be an exception to what has been going on for years, so hopefully we are still in the pre-halving bull run, and with the current price of Bitcoin and some altcoins, it's possible they might hit their ATH before the halving, because we are currently in a bullish trend. It is only a long term holder that will hold their coin for that long in which even when there’s a pump, they see the need and potential to keep holding. But if you’re a short term holder, you eventually have to take your profit or you’ll watch it all come down. And when taking the profit, don’t use up everything because you want to go through the same cycle of making money. In fact most short term traders take out only bits of what they make.
Being a long term investors you'll have to discipline yourself enough not to let the physical market value distract you from your goal. If you let your emotions make decisions for you especially when the market goes bearish or bullish then your are likely to become a short term traders untill you learn to not hit the sell button when profits arise from your holding. Though majority of Investors are into short term holding due to the quick profit syndrome, but only experience and skilled traders get to harvest their profit on time. |

In my own opinion, I believe Satoshi took the best decision to stay anonymous until now. Because that anonymity has been the pillar that holds Bitcoin network from the influence of the government. Majority of the government don't like cryptocurrency at large, so assuming Satoshi did all those things in the question the op asked, by now he would have been assassinated or jailed for any reason they come up with. Hence I am saying if I were to be Satoshi, I would have done the same thing in keeping my identity anonymous from the public.

The fall of naira is a serious challenge to the Nigeria government and we all know how every government in this country mismanaged the money owned by the country and right now the government is seeing the cryptocurrency exchange as the problem of naira. This is government is known for looking for what they can always bring as blame when they are incapable of solving their problems. Now all blames falls on the cryptocurrency exchange don't be relaxed by leaving your money in exchange because they can do something by shouting it down to make Nigerians not to have access to it.
Exchange like binance and others are working on mobile, don't be so relaxed and comfortable while you money is in Exchange. If the government is unable to do something about the fall of naira, their next target is to shutdown Exchange complete. Government are always selfish, they won't even think if cryptocurrency is benefiting the youth, they will still go ahead to shut it down.
This is a good and solid advise, especially to those new to the system. Exchanges aren't place for keeping your funds, just as the name implies "Exchange" it was basically created for exchanging or swapping fair currency to cryptocurrency or crypto to crypto, you could even use the P2P to sell your coins, but the option of keeping your funds there, it's not safe as anything might happen. And here is one of the unplanned events that could take place. If the government decide to cut ties with exchanges without giving us a notice then all your funds in that exchange might be gone forever. Aside that exchanges are primarily target of hackers. |
