Hey you proved that there is one campaign currently that would be decent for people to buy a Sr. account for! If that's their thing and they want to post a bunch of posts it seems worth it now
You can also generally ROI in one month with full member accounts as well (actually under a month) but the profit once you ROI is less.
383  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Bitcointalk.org forum accounts - Inventory Updated 25/11/14 on: December 05, 2014, 07:59:25 PM
The whole business model of buying an account to ROI in 3 months or more on like $20 of income a month is a hard one to sell.
you can generally expect to ROI on an account in one month if you can enroll in a pay per post campaign that lets you post enough.

For example most pay per post campaigns offer .0001 per post for senior accounts so you would only need to post ~500 to break even then the next 500 posts would get you .5 btc which is ~$200 at current fiat prices.

Very incorrect. .0001 x 500 = .05 Bitcoin. Thus proving my point that even if you made 500 non spam posts in one month, it would take you many months to ROI on it even posting those insane numbers. Please double check your math next time Wink
I typed incorrectly on my phone. I fixed my post. The correct rate is .001 per post which allows someone to earn .5 for 500 posts. It is possible to make as many constructive, relevant posts in one month, I have done many times that in the past without even getting any of my posts deleted (except a few in self moderated threads by scammers).

Except the fact that nobody is paying anywhere near to that amount as of now. (Refer to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0 )
bit-x is paying exactly that for up to 300 posts per month and is escrowed.

Prime dice is likely to open in ~2 days (stunna's last post on the subject said it would open in a week, 5 days ago), they were paying similar amounts.

Well well well. I just bookmark and comeback later.
I am unsure if you are interested in buying one of my accounts but I sent you a PM

Incorrect. There are special features regarding my hero that others do not have, for example my hero is on default trust and is highly respected within the community

Thats a very immoral thing you are doing. The only reason anyone would pay extra for a trusted account is to use it to scam.
False. If my product has a certain feature that has value then you need to advertise such feature in order to get such value. If you do not do this then you are giving up value.

Also above the prestige having such trust would allow you to start a legit business that you may not be able to start without trust. The buyer has an incentive to act honestly because if you do not then the money they paid for the account would go away. A good example of this is the trouble bipolarbob had selling his gift cards when he first came to the forum. He couldn't even give his cards away before he was trusted in the community.

i got my shares back. can be closed.
You can click on lock topic on the bottom left.

In the future you should use escrow as you could have easily gotten scammed on a permanent basis and there was nothing you really could have done about it.

I would seriously advise you to not trust someone based on their ranking/post count alone
389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got Scammed by jame2s on: December 05, 2014, 03:24:40 AM
Smiley thanks, i will.

cheers
You really need to use escrow, which will protect both parties. It appears that this is not the first time this happened to you. Please keep this thread updated, as I may have additional information.

Is an Admin here who can send me the ip of this guy? and check if he used the same ip to log in a different account here?

The obvious scam is obvious.

This is one that I have not seen before.
391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got Scammed by jame2s on: December 04, 2014, 09:12:49 PM
You sent 2.9 BTC to someone first for the sole reason of he has a higher rank then you?

Have you heard of escrow?

Edit: 2.9 worth of something.
392  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Bitcointalk.org forum accounts - Inventory Updated 25/11/14 on: December 04, 2014, 12:40:03 PM
wow hero account for 3.3 BTC ? damn Shocked
I send you a PM

wow hero account for 3.3 BTC ? damn Shocked

Thats his quote, not necessarily what its going for.

I have seen other threads where they are selling it for anything between 0.55 to 0.8 BTC. Thats about the rate for now.

Bump. Several high paying signature campaigns have recently opened up with another major signature campaign to open soon on a pay per post basis. Buy your account while they are still available.

CoinPiler is scam, doesn't pay for November, plz remove it.

I'm shocked that someone who refused to use escrow with flimsy excuses turned out to be a scam.

I've asked him several times times to use an escrow but this  was his reply :

Hi all the curious & cautions mind of BitcoinTalk Community.

I do highly respect all of your opinion of making an escrow. I do understand that you must want to keep the community safe and secure (at-least SCAM free) I am not outside of this intension.

I know that making an escrow would greatly improve my credibility, professionalism and so forth....

But thing is I cannot depend on others (at-least where my money involved). I cannot give my money to others and tell them not to waste or loss, or keep them safe for me. My money can be well protected to only myself...

Please don't take my decision in different angle.... take it as straight as I tell here... I do know, you can tell me lots of things against this post, you can even present me world's secured vault with world's most trusted guy to provide escrow... But I must not making any escrow...

After this post I would not reply any escrow related question. If you can join this campaign with my terms, please you are welcome... If you feel that you are not safe without escrow, please do not waste your precious time to reply this thread.....

If this post hurt anyone, its not intentional, I do highly respect your perception.....

Thanks

He could easily have added specific terms to the escrow agreement that would have caused participants to be denied payment under certain circumstances.

I also looked at his website and cannot see how it could not have been anything other then a spammy way to get people to buy his "service" - it appears his website is just a ~15 minute video trying to get people to buy some service/ebook from him (I only watched a short portion of it)

@Gronthaing - I guess he has said that he will pay out from his own pocket (but I would not blame him if he changes his mind about this.

I am curious to see what others think of the issue.

Gaw miners (Thread)
Miscellaneous: It may be necessary to add an "*" to the GAW campaign as EvilPanda has said (as quoted below) that he has not received funds to pay for participants after the end of December and will not accept re-enrollments starting immediately. I would also change the escrow to "Y" as it is technically escrowed by EvilPanda who is paying out GAW's funds in a similar way that macrotheminer is paying out bit-x's funds.

I also wanted to tell you that at the moment I don't have enough funds to run the campaign in January, so starting today I won't be re-enrolling people. Nothing changes for those of you, who are already on the list.

This is not final, I may still receive the funds tomorrow or the day after, so keep checking the thread. If nothing changes this week, the campaign will most likely close starting January 1st.
He has also been hinting that the GAW campaign will close for some time now.

Why put an asterisk if the campaign is being well managed? That should be reserved for those with actual problems. Not those that might close down a month from now, provided people get paid.
The problem is that EvilPanda is going to run out of GAW's BTC soon (likely by the end of the month) and will either need to not pay some participants, pay some participants less then they are owed or will need to payout with his own money. I am fairly certain he is not going to use his own money.

I do agree that he has run the campaign very professionally and the GAW campaign is probably the best run campaign out there.

Update on prime dice campaign.

Campaign will be launching within a week for hero/senior/legendary members. It will then be opened for full/member/jr shortly after.

We have a new payment system that will pay per post and depending on what forum section (Posting in some forum sections will get you more per post than others). The whole process will be fully automated and payments will be made weekly. We will be able to track users characters per post and easily ban spammers from the campaign. Hilariousandco (Bitcointalk mod) will be monitoring all participants and will be ensuring the quality of the forum is not lowered by participants.

We're setting a 50 BTC/month budget on this campaign so we are looking for a lot of people to sign up.

I assume that your posting and/or facebook history reflected the February trip so he probably assumed that you would have a similar vacation schedule next year (many families have a vacation "spot" they go to every year around the same time).

KingOfSports is just making things up.  Notice how he was unable to post the name of the hotel?   Wink
I am talking about last years Mexico trip. If he saw that you went to Mexico last year in February then he would assume that you would go back this February. I agree that he is bluffing about having information on you

I don't think Mexico is very nice in February. Do you know why he is going in the winter? I have read that Vod was able to retire early from his mining proceeds so I would think he could afford to take a vacation in the "on" season. I might be able to give you a "+1" for this information (with Vod as escrow of course)

I went to Mexico twice last year - once in Feb and once in June.  I preferred the Feb one - June was just too hot down in Mexico.   Undecided
Well I guess you are probably more used to colder weather then most people. I personally prefer to go on vacation when/where it is hot. I sometimes go to the DL beaches in early May and even then the water is usually too cold for me.
