383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 02, 2019, 10:18:55 PM
lets be honest here , most of us are involved just because we see a potential income on here.  whether if you are a free lancer that loves to make free money online or if you are a trader or investor that loves to allocate money in the hopes of doubling it . so yes im here because i was a freelancer before and up until now and good thing that i also found this forum , because i also earn some income on here aside from other websites . the service of using a crypto is also a bonus for me

I totally agree with you honesty is the most important thing. I am pleased to see that people in this thread answer honestly the question of what led them to cryptocurrency.
They are not shy to say that they were brought in by money and a desire to earn money, because there is nothing wrong with that. I, am no exception and my acquaintance with cryptocurrencies began with my expectations of making money. I saw a lot of opportunities that cryptocurrency gives, and as I studied it, I fell in love with it. Now I not only see opportunities for earning, but also opportunities for improving the quality of life in our future.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: October 29, 2019, 11:36:01 PM
Dont trust any signal group its better to built your own strategy on trading in that case you will not blame people if you lose on your trade, sorry to hear that your friend lose a lot of money atleast your friend learn from mistake now if their comeback on trading its better to plan there trade.

I did not say that it was a signal from a group specializing in signals. It was a signal from his teacher who is a serious trader.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: October 29, 2019, 11:02:21 PM
I guess I’ll say a few commonplace things, but I can’t be silent.

My friend lost a lot of money in the last bitcoin move. The story is that he traded on signals.
Having a deposit of several thousand dollars, he received a signal (these were signal from one very famous trader, he trains him) to open a short position with a leverage of 2.5x at the level of approximately $ 8000 (I may be slightly mistaken).
As you know everyone was waiting for the fall of Bitcoin. My friend shared information with me, but I decided that I would spend this weekend without trading.

In general, before going to bed, my friend decided to check the market, and was delayed for 5 minutes. These 5 minutes decided everything.
He saw how the price of bitcoin began to grow at a frantic pace. He was shocked. At first he wanted to give the debt back to the exchange,
but it didn’t work out because he was sitting on the phone, and in the application from the Huobi exchange there was simply a disgusting procedure for returning the debt, absolutely not intuitive.

In general, when the price reached $ 10,000, he was already in a panic, did not know what to do, because the liquidation price was displayed as $ 10,200.
He frantically begins to buy Bitcoin for the remaining USDT, thereby increasing the liquidation limit, but he did not have time, and his position was liquidated.
He lost a significant amount, and fell into a rather severe upset.

Personally, I believe that all this could be avoided if:
1. Do not trade on signals
2. It doesn’t matter if you trade in signals or always set your own stop loss, even in the most obvious situations when it seems that there can be no other way.
3. Remember that margin trading can deprive you of your pants at any time. These are extremely high risks.
4. Be prepared for losses. If you take a risk, then accept responsibility for this risk at the time of opening a position, and not after its closure.

Be smart and take care of yourself guys.

386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser and BAT tokens on: October 25, 2019, 04:57:14 PM
I actively use this browser, however, in my region their payment system does not work, so I do not receive any additional tokens other than those that I bought in the first days of my acquaintance.
I bought only 50 tokens. It seems strange to me that a project with such an interesting idea, one might even say innovative, does not seek to expand as quickly as possible into all possible markets.
Probably jurisdictions of different countries do not allow. This is cryptocurrency, soon without regulators we will not be able to take a step.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph's Facebook account was actually blocked on: October 25, 2019, 04:22:26 PM
Everyone seems to be against Facebook and Libra project so now they blocked their account on CTelegraph. What is next ? Facebook bans all the projects who are having a page on the platform as sign of revenge ? Because they could do this and harm a lot more the crypto system as we all know that most of the projects are having a page there to inform the followers about news. What I really hope it will happen is to find a way to let this go and continue without harming each other's image.

Do you think everything is so clear?

After all, it is obvious that blocking for such reasons has no basis, and therefore will cause a certain resonance among the crypto community and beyond, which will lead to a boycott of Facebook to a certain extent, which in turn will lead to the account having to be unblocked, while people will remain unpleasant after the situation. I do not think that the FB is so short-sighted.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Report: More Than 50% of the Worlds Banks May Be Too Weak To Survive A Recession on: October 25, 2019, 04:01:18 PM
I confess I think the figure is 50% slightly underestimated, I won’t be surprised if a much larger number of banks are not ready for the upcoming recession.
The banking system itself has a mechanism in itself which under certain circumstances will always fail.
Usually this happens during a global recession, because people are in a hurry to get their money from the bank.
I am sorry for those people who do not have time to collect their money from the bank, because they will not get absolutely nothing as it always was when the banks collapsed.
Each time the same thing.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 25, 2019, 11:11:17 AM
There is a lot of fraud in the industry, ratings can be bought like the site and the roadmap and everything else. If you invest then in the top and time-tested coins.

I agree with you, almost everything is being bought at the moment, from ratings on websites to first places in local blockchain competitions. Trust is necessary only for those projects that are time-tested. And this, as the topic starter said, projects from the top 1-500. In general, I like investments in bitcoin and in not more than 7-10 altcoins in the proportions of 80% = BTC, 20% - altcoins.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 25, 2019, 10:18:36 AM
It is worth noting that the head of crypto global Ivan Molina was arrested yesterday, by the way they suspect cooperation with drug cartels and charge him with money laundering.
So, not only cryptocurrency in itself is a possible loophole for criminal structures, but also unscrupulous exchange and brick structures, because Ivan and crypto Global cooperated with a very large exchange, one of which was without Bitfinex.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: October 24, 2019, 10:25:59 PM
I believe that most of the assets should be kept in the BTC, everything else does not make much difference.
BTC ~ 75%
OCN ~ 5%
ONE ~ 5%
AKRO ~ 5%
ETH ~ 5%

I believe that most of the assets should be kept in the BTC, everything else does not make much difference. The figures are approximate, but I want to add some more types of altcoins.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: October 24, 2019, 09:14:16 PM
Blockchain can really provide the necessary tools for solving the problems of the new world order.
After all, the first thing that is necessary for the new world order is total control over the population, over its movement, over the movement of any monetary funds, as you said, property rights, and most importantly, what is needed is instant restrictions and kickbacks. Not every blockchain allows you to organize such locks and rollbacks of funds back.
Therefore, if this happens, a new order blockchain will be needed. Perhaps there will be more improvements in blockchain-based technologies in the future. But for now, it seems to me, you are thinking in the right direction.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 24, 2019, 08:10:36 PM
  • A high-volume range breakdown seen on the daily chart suggests scope for test of a long-term moving average at $7,200. A violation there would expose another major average support at $7,000.
  • A corrective bounce above resistance at $7,534 could be seen before a deeper drop, as the intraday charts are reporting oversold conditions.
  • A lagging indicator suggests BTC may bottom out in the range of $7,000 to $7,200.
  • A UTC close above the Oct. 21 high of $8,352 is needed to confirm a bullish reversal.

Long-term bitcoin price support at $7,200 may be put to test for the first time in six months, likely after a minor price bounce.
The crypto market leader fell by $500 to $7,500 during the U.S. trading hours on Wednesday, confirming a downside break of the recent trading range of $7,800 to $8,400.
Prices went on to hit a five-month low of $7,293 before printing a UTC close at $7,470 – down 6.92 percent on the day, according to Bitstamp data. That’s the biggest single-day drop since Sept. 24, when prices had     declined by 11.83%.
The range breakdown indicates the sell-off from highs above $10,000 seen on Sept. 23 has resumed and prices could test support at $7,200 – the 100-period moving average on the three-day chart. That MA line was last put to test at the end of April.

394  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: October 24, 2019, 07:35:51 PM
As Zuckerberg himself says, Libra is by no means going to become the currency of any kind that impedes the current financial system, but in the Congress his words did not convince anyone.
Yes, I don’t seem to be inclined to listen to him there. According to Zuckerberg himself, he is ready to leave Libra if Congress does not approve it.
I think that it is necessary to understand here that if Congress nevertheless approves such an ambiguous project, then, with a high probability, it will be completely subordinate to the regulators and, therefore, will not be able to harm the financial system. In any case, I think so.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 24, 2019, 06:56:02 PM
Given that I possess mediocre technical knowledge in this area, I would first of all listen to community experts who could give clear criticism regarding the project.
I would ask technical competitors of the project to understand how they themselves relate to this project.

I am not one of those who initially is too biased towards new projects, I believe that any project has the right to life, but it is also obvious that there is too much scam on the market, which means caution will not be superfluous. Therefore, if competitors of critics and independent critics agree that the project does not have a share of scam, then, probably, I would think about investing in such a project.

The only thing that should be studied in advance is the advantage of the project compared to competitors, and are these advantages beneficial for other people to switch to a new product, the reliability of which has not yet been determined.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your opinion about this investment strategy on: October 24, 2019, 05:55:22 PM
All in all, I like your approach and coin distribution. However, I don’t see much difference in the coins, that is, I don’t understand why Stellar has a much lower percentage than Ripple.
I would distribute the shares more evenly because almost each of the altcoins you have chosen will move equally with Bitcoin, and in the case of local pumps, each of them has a chance.
Maybe I would increase the share in bitcoin a bit. But in general, these are just my subjective thoughts, I like your portfolio, I just want to add that I like the bitcoin share of 60% or even 65% more.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: October 24, 2019, 04:17:43 PM
I think we should start holding the coins of exchanges. These are coins that can grow as much as MXC and Binance did. Its value goes up by more than thousands of percent and one of the coins I would like to recommend is: Bcnex, Vindax, Latoken, Beaxy.
Although many people do not trust these new exchanges, I realize their great effort. Try your luck with me.

The above listed exchanges, in principle, did not differ much at the moment. The BSNEX exchange was launched recently and it has not yet had a single fundraising, although it seems to me that the first fundraising on this exchange should be very successful, because this exchange, although young, is already quite popular. Recently, an official listing of the TRON coin was made on it. Latoken exchange has a rather dubious reputation, all the sales passing on it cannot be called successful. Total profit for investors is in the negative range. I can’t say anything specific about the Windex exchange, but as far as I know, there, too, not everything is good with profit after fundraising.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Shitcoin should we hold now? on: October 24, 2019, 10:22:23 AM
The word shitcoins connotes a bad idea for investment, so if you don't believe in this coin and you think that these are all shitcoins then you don't invest on it at all, if you are investing in a coin it should not be a shitcoin and you don't call it a shitcoin, I never invest on coins that I will later call, shitcoin.
I will never call a coin that I hold shitcoin, if it I feel it is a shitcoin I will just let go of it and trade it to a good coin.

The word shitcoin can be understood in different ways. Judging by the answers in this thread, I see that everyone has a different understanding of the meaning of this ambiguous term.
Personally, I understand this ambiguous term as a coin having a low level of capitalization and a rather ambiguous future due to the uncertainty of demand for this coin.
The lower the liquidity of the coin, the less likely it is to be interested in it, but at the same time, the project itself can give hope and be promising enough to invest in it even with such high risks.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 24, 2019, 09:12:25 AM
I think, you have to first teach your relatives / family / spouse to understand that you can at least access your account correctly.

I think this is the easiest and best way, if you trust your wife, your family, if you live together take it off, then why don’t you train them, or at least your wife, how to access your account, your wallets, how to use them how to withdraw funds, and so on. If you do not want to transfer knowledge while everything is all right with you, you can teach this to your trusted friend, who will subsequently pass everything on to your loved ones. If you do not have such a friend, then write a will with instructions and give it to a notary public who in the future, in the event of your death, will transfer everything to your loved ones.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 23, 2019, 10:32:24 PM
The Cryptocurrency space isn't yet as regulated as it should be and as long as it keeps being the wild west, there is absolutely nothing anybody can do about it, ofcourse bounty hunters could protest against any campaign that doesn't pay them but some project owners just don't care once the fundraising stage has been completed.

In view of this, the only thing we can do is to protect ourselves. We have a lot of cases of scam, which means we have a lot of experience regarding situations in which so many people were deceived.
We must disseminate as much information as possible regarding scam projects and collect data. After all, when the full regulation of the crypto market comes, these data can help in one degree or another return the funds to their owners.
