Sometimes I wonder why Nigeria is facing high rates of insecurity and crime. The root of the high level of insecurity in a blessed country like Nigeria can be argued that indices such as corruption, hatred, lack of faith among the citizen, incompetent leadership, bribering, illiteracy, tribalism, religion interest, regional interest, porose nature of our boarder, divers local languages, government poor policies, high rates of unemployment and poverty are factors that promote incidences of insecurity and crime in Nigeria.
My brother, no be only Nigeria dey experience such, e dey very common in all society wey government no dey provide job's, and a source of living for the common man. Another thing wey I see as a major problem and is one of the root cause of insecurities in our country naija na high birth rate, you go see person wey never feed well, go give birth to 5 children and above, when those children grow up, and no better work or skill wey them go use survive, them go decide to go into crime, and when person dey inside such situation, e dy very easy for our politicians to use them as tools for their selfish interest, so to me, lack of jobs na the major thing behind insecurities in our country naija. |

I don't know what match you mean, because what I saw today is that Liverpool will face their arch rival Manchester United in the FA Cup match in the Quarter Finals session. Yesterday Manchester City also won the match in the FA Cup which was also followed by Chelsea today who just finished winning the match at Stamford Bridge when they hosted Leicester City. So I don't understand why you are talking about rankings with a difference of one point, even though many matches in the Premier League have been postponed. Manchester united has taken the lead early by scoring an early goal on the 10th minutes by MacTomminay. Whenever United scores first against a big team in the early minutes of the match, I don't use to have confidence in them. It is 31st, and it is still 1-0. Liverpool is taking everything calm but the are waiting for the right time to strike, as they are not happy as they have not find the back of the post yet. It seems that United football is somehow different today, because their performance in this first half is encouraging. Unfortunately, Liverpool are not ready to lose this important match as Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah cored two late goals to put Liverpool in the lead as at half time. This gets to show that Liverpool does not give up easily as they never walk alone, give it to team work! If Liverpool continues in this direction of not giving up easily, they might just end up with two or three trophies this season as a goodbye package to their wonderful coach Klopp. Now they still stand a chance at the Premiership title, EUFA league and also the FA Cup. I have strong feeling that they will life one or two of them. I wasn't that troubled when Manchester united got the opening goal of the game because I know Manchester united and their records when it comes to Liverpool, and besides Liverpool have a better team than Manchester united. Initially at the beginning of this contest, Manchester united were dominating more of the ball, but as times goes on , Liverpool seized the initiative and they are more likely to get the third than Manchester united getting the equalizer, and I think it will be very difficult for Manchester united to get another goal in this game, unless they improve massively. |

I don't really know if I'm the only one who's see this on Bitcoin price that's heading down where we don't want it to be or is it just trying to show those who never saw it getting past $67-69k? Huh...? I hope it gets back up again, or is it that some of us are not getting the job done like completing the push-up to 100? Or are some of us stopping at 60 that's why we have it at $68k now🤔🤔? I'm also beginner in trading. I trade since this summer and I lost about $90 on $120 account. Recently I make $20 on last $34.
Throughout my journey in trading, I read Jack Schwager's book, watched many educational videos on YouTube, read many articles on the educational sections of CEX exchanges, and also talked with many traders. It seems to me that I understand enough about technical analysis, trading systems and trader psychology. But I'm at a dead end and don't know what to do next. Other traders advised me to just trade, but I think that over time I will lose my remaining $45, and demo trading does not bring such emotions and I don’t want to try hard when trading it

I will grant that we might not have realized that the last 16 months had been a bull market until either mid-2023 or maybe it did not sink in with enough evidence until around October 2023... but the fact of the matter is that any investment strategies that you had been employing in bitcoin in the last 16 months had not been during a bear market.
Investing for 16 months is not really wise for me. Because here it is possible to make profit only by planning and investing for 16 months, it may not be correct, many times I think some part should be invested regularly. It should be planned to invest for a period of at least 3 to 5 years so that no matter what stage the market goes through, the investment will continue and the profit will always increase. By the way, another thing that I frequently mention is that anyone who considers himself as an investor in BTC and buys new BTC should have a plan to invest 4-10 years or longer for any new purchases that he makes, otherwise from my point of view, he would be considered a speculator rather than an investor on those new purchases if he is not able to consider an investment timeline of at least 4 years. I don't see Mancity lifting the trophy again, it looks kinda weird if they do so. We shouldn't play down the importance of formal education because of the deformity we have in our Nigerian society, education teaches you how to be an entrepreneur, it teaches you the ability to pass on intellectual knowledge to the next generation, we shouldn't forget the slogan that says, education is the bedrock of any society. Okay, here's why I'm here. I've been noticing memecoins trending lately, such as Pepe, Doge, Shiba, WIF, Wen, Myro, which started the charge. Before newer Solana memes like Peng, Brett (this one is on the base Blockchain), and recently Bome, making impressive gains. My question to my fellow Nigerians is, for those on the meme train:
1.How do you spot these memecoins quickly?
2.For someone like me who doesn't use dex, which cex is the best for listing early trending memes?
3. Is the reward worth more than the risk?
And any suggestions you could give.
Am not a fan of meme coin or shit coin because they are mostly pump and dump scheme, and I normally sees them as gambling because of the risk involved, though of a truth, the rewards is very good if it goes your way, but for me to risk up to 100dollar on any shit coin is actually not worth it. I believe in stability and continuity, so I practically gets all of that in Bitcoin, even though the profit Bitcoin gives is not that much as meme coin gives, am ok if it keeps coming gradually, because I believe that small progress is a progress regardless of the pace, not for me to be greedy and go and acquire a shit coin that will make me lose my hard earned money. |

It cannot be denied that buying and holding bitcoins is the safest way to invest in bitcoins, but for those with the ability and skills to trade, trading to increase the amount of bitcoins is not so bad. Just because we can't win at trading doesn't mean everyone is like us. I have a friend who makes a living as a day trader and so far he's been fine. It can be said that everyone has different skills, so we should know who we are and what our strengths are so that we can make appropriate choices that bring the best benefits to us. Don't imitate others just because they are successful that way, each person has a different path to success. I will not want to encourage anyone to trade Bitcoin, it most times don't end well and make people have bad things to say about bitcoin. As we are discussing how to hold for long time, discussing trading of bitcoin here might be out of place. There is a proper section for trading and that place is agoge with different trading strategies that can be used to supposedly increase the Bitcoin. You already supported the fact that buying and holding bitcoin is the safest way to invest in Bitcoin, why will you jettison the safest way for some risky way with promise of huge gains that is not even guaranteed? It is not the best way to go about investing in bitcoin. I started as a trader so I know how tricky it can be even to those who think they have mastered the skills. More often than not, people end of losing their entire assets to trading when they were hoping to make major wins. Therefore, buying bitcoin and holding is the best approach. I advocate that holding bitcoin is the safest way to invest, but I am not saying that it is the way to make the best profits. Just because you like safety with moderate profits doesn't mean everyone likes safety and peace as much as you do. Each person has different investment preferences, strengths and skills. I have been making profits from trading and using those profits to reinvest in many different projects. So why should I stop trading just because you and some other people are not making profits from trading? DO NOT imitate others but also do not impose your thoughts on others. Why do people who cannot make money from trading start thinking that it is not a good investment method? Just like altcoins, many investors are profiting from altcoins, memes... while bitcoin maximalists go around saying bad things about others. Would doing so help us deliver better returns than those investing in altcoins? Yes, there is atom of truth in the claim that being a trader is the way to riches because trading will enable one to have a better understanding of the system which is the major factor that will enhance the riches. In otherwise, trading can also have some disadvantage when the prerequisite skill is not well conceive and develop, for one to be a good trader and make riches out of it there must be unprecedented determination and consistency as well as endurance and dedication. The first thing I want you to understand is that trading is not for everyone, secondly, trading is not as easy as most influencer makes it looks like, and if am not mistaken, it's only like 2% of traders that are making money from it out of 100% , so the earlier you realize it the better. While those that still having that thought of bitcoin being a Ponzi scheme would keep on missing such opportunities, because they don't wanna learn , that's how alot of individuals back then may have also have same mindset thinking bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme and would crash soon when it value was still around $1k , but through those years bitcoin kept proving them wrong and now Bitcoin just recently hit a new ATH (which Is around $73k ) not quite long. You can see the tremendous growth and we believe bitcoin would still keep on proving them wrong , when it keep going up. Ponzi schemes usually don't last too long. So that can be a benchmark to offer to people who still think Bitcoin is an investment that uses a Ponzi scheme. as you said we can provide real evidence of the price of bitcoin when it was still $1K until now. or if necessary, you can use data from the first halving to the last halving next month. how does the price of bitcoin increase from each halving or from year to year. of course they will see clearly that this is real and not a ponzi scheme as they say. I really don't think that is necessary by going the extra miles in explanation and even providing data to back up your claim that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme, I don't think it's necessary, to me it's only people that are misinformed or uninformed that will take Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme in today's world that technology and civilization have practically taken over everything, so to me, anyone that fail to see the light, let him be, don't try to over talk someone into Bitcoin investment, so you wouldn't be seen as a fraudster. |

There is no need to be worried about the little dump in the bitcoin price. There will always be a pullback in the bitcoin price because of the volatility of bitcoin. If I'm you, I will use this opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin in my portfolio before it sets another all-time high within this month or next month. You are actually right on this bro, I think he should be more concerned about accumulating more and more Bitcoin than it current price, because I believe that Bitcoin is no where near the value it will skyrocket to when the bull run officially start after the halving, unless you are not a long term holder. But as a long term holder that I am, I pay more attention at accumulating now, because I still feels that I have not accumulated enough Bitcoin, because since am still in my 20's, I believe that it's the perfect means to build my finances for the future, so I suggest just as @mayor of ogba had already said, this is the perfect opportunity to buy more than getting worried of it current price. |

But if you are not consistent in you DCA method you not making good use of the strategy and you won't see much impact in your holding. One thing that makes the DCA method interesting is your ability to consistently do it within the specified period you have set for yourself. When you are not consistent in buying either weekly or monthly it like it's not DCA method you are following. It has now turned to lump sum or other methods and when you are not effectively following the DCA method, you don't expect to get the benefits that comes with the method. No matter how small the budget is DCA method, consistency is what matters, before you know it you have accumulated enough. Also, the assumption that the DCA methord is the best isn't all that correct. The decision to buy using the DCA methord or to do lump sum starch is totally based on your financial strength. as long as the methord you're using is working well for you and will help you meet your goal within the shortest possible time, that's the best strategy for you but that's not to suggest that it's better than buying in lump or that its more profitable than bulk buying.
