Announce: DarkNote XDN devs are officially working on DarkNote XDN <-> SuperNET integration, to improve both! We are in active collaboration with @jl777 about that stuff.
+1 That is just a "pre" announce. You should wait for an official statement from both SuperNET and DarkNote. "wait" before doing what...? are you suggesting people shouldn't buy? There are no suggestions, just saying, that this is a preannounce, Official statement = statement that made from both DarkNote and SuperNET side will explanations. Coins that are "pre-announced" are forbidden from joining SuperNET, didn't you get the memo?

Anyone know how roughly many BBRs got dumped since the announcement? Polo doesn't show the complete history.
Kudos to Zoidberg for the decisions !
Around 50 000 BBR (or 30 BTC).. *roughly*.. that's some really quick counting on my part..

Short version of how the Monero VIRUS works.. ... These Monero Shills are crypto-offenders and should have to go door to door in their neighborhoods and tell the communities all over crypto they are convicted offenders and are guilty of grooming their victims for the long-con ! Beware new users you don't want to be sitting in a shrinks office pointing to a doll showing what naughty parts of your wallet they violated You actually wrote something that made laugh. Maybe if you keep your posts short... +1

Is it a blockchain issue or pool set up? Just curious.
For a coin to be able to be merge mined, it needs to be designed with that ability / functionality. Therefore the only 2 coins (currently) that can be merge mined is FCN or MCN.
|
|
|
I'm a noob at Minergate so maybe this has been answered or a dumb question.
Is it possible to merge mine 2 different coins that I want instead of Fantom Coin + another or MCN + another? For instance could I merge mine XMR + XDN?
That is not possible.

The Minergate GUI miner is pretty damn good, its only miner that actually works with my 560ti for mining Cryptonight.
Have you tried https://minergate.com/altminers/ccminer ? Works perfectly for my TI.. As for the GUI, sure it looks pretty. Does it perform as other miners? Sure.. Does the minergate server POOL software work properly? Hell no.
|
|
|
Did anyone notice how BTC/Stamp and XMR/Polo charts look almost identical?
XMR will be at the same level as BTC AND HIGHER in the future. New and improved! BTC = Gold (store of value but not many industrial use) XMR = Platinum (more rare and many industrial uses) Promise? Is it true? Well.. No..

The error people have been talking about (and experiencing, including myself) leads to bad shares, which reduces payouts you'd otherwise get. "Cannot convert blob data" is almost a direct correlation to bad shares.
Other pools don't have this problem.
Minergate pool efficiency is extremely low.

From Monero thread : An exploit has been found in the pool code, which means that some miners are submitting duplicate shares to the pools. Pool owners should update to latest code, pools that have been patched include minexmr.com, hashinvest.net and monero.crypto-pool.fr. Other pools are currently being exploited, including moneropool.com, which means if you are mining there you will recieve ~40% xmr less than you should.
PS this is not related to the recent BCX stuff
Some other pools are now updating to the patch we made on monero.crypto-pool.fr about an exploit suspected 2 months ago : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658990.msg8430340#msg8430340Without this patch some miners can steal the hash of legit miners. It is a good thing that we've been working on it. Now everyone recognize those bad-miners weren't our imagination. With that out of the way, is there any ETA on mining directly to the exchange?

Hi! Thanks for your question. We would like to stress out that MinerGate is built by our team without any use of opensource cryptonote-universal-pool, which is used on majority of other mining pools. MinerGate supports smart penalties for invalid shares – https://minergate.com/faq/invalid-shares-policy. With this policy MinerGate makes unprofitable all actions by dishonest miners. In short, you can relax and rely on MinerGate! Really? Then why do *legit* miners submit so many failed / stale shares when mining?
|
|
|
Don't count on it.. Minergate has around 80% more stale / failed submitted shares than any of the big pools. [ MOD NOTE: Edited out possible advertisement. Please keep the discussion on-topic.]

I have heard some other people saying they would like clarification on some of these points as well. I will speak with CZ and make sure we get something out with our schedule of updates and releases detailing all this. As many more people are likely going to be joining the BBR community soon, its important that we as a community provide clear and concise information on all things BBR related.
That is great news. The sooner its sorted out (one way or the other), the sooner BBR can take over the world. amirite?

But before that don't forget to look at price of BTC. Also time warped?
So you're saying because BTC is down, XMR is down because of that? There are (other) coins that have gone up even though BTC has gone down.
|
|
|
All of that may be true, however...can we get some official word from the core team on the latest developments? BCX is implying his TW attack is already running and having an affect on the block chain. Can we disprove that with 100% certainty?
Maybe timewarp attack will need weeks to show effects? Or decades?
He was playing for time all from the beginning. Exploits announced? One. Delivered? Zero. Then "hey let's wait and see in 72 hours" Two days later "takes 22 days to built up and THEN it is inevitable" Just wait and see, it is 100% CERTAIN that after those 22 days ... he comes up with another two weeks. Tell that to the market price.

Excellent.. Keep up the great work..

I was under the impression that when I bought into this coin some things were fixed one of those was the emission curve - if I am wrong that is my own mistake and poor research and I will quietly sell my coins, if I am right then it should remain that way in my opinion.
yeah, believe, there are hundreds of people like you, thats what I'm trying to say to smooth, dont touch the forking emission There may be but there are thousands or tens of thousands of participants. I have no idea how they all feel. Both views have been represented here. Isn't that what public votes are for?

Worthy bump after recent BCX drama and FUD.
Expect a larger bump shortly.

It's a market cap price manipulation. I heard someone used blackcoins to buy it while locked or just before. In reality it's fake. It has been fixed.
