Now less than 2 BTC worth of ICN at 0.0004 or lower at Kraken, and no sell wall beyond that.  Buy while you can.  We are headed up.

Currently trying to break 0.0004 at Kraken again....under 6 BTC to go....prepare for liftoff.

Happy $ATH mooks!

I am tumescent.

Why? You only have like 4 ICN
 Smiley

Mal Reynolds donated 10,000 ICN to me, to thank me for my services.

He said it would only have paid for a new Rolex anyway, and he'd rather I have it - so that I can know the pain and anguish that you all suffered looking at Coinmarketcap each day.

Thank you, Mal, for this valuable lesson.

Did I?  Didn't I?  My lips are sealed.  Mend stands on his own.  And I don't wear a wristwatch, so I don't need a Rolex.

I will admit I have a fondness for Court Jesters like Jon Stewart, John Oliver, and Zero Hedge that speak truth to power...or are at least quite amusing.

We need a website / app that has a continuously updated list of the key ICN statistics:

1. Total ICN burned to date / total remaining ICN

2. Current ICNX Price / % increase or decrease in past day / week / month

3. Number of ICNX platform users / total value of ICNX market

4. Current ICNP total portfolio value -  % increase from original $4.25M endowment

5. List of ICNP holdings - % increase in value since purchase for each

How can people possibly understand how valuable ICONOMI is becoming if the data remains hidden and hard to find?

Come on, Tim / Jani.  Communicating the ICOMONI situation to new users is so simple and so important.  JUST DO IT.

Back in the top 25.  Here comes ICONOMI !!!

IMHO, ICN IS STILL THE MOST UNDERVALUED CRYPTO ON THIS LIST.

We are currently within 4% of ICN All Time High (ATH) in terms of USD and up to 5X ICO price in USD.  Hopefully it's time for a breakout soon!

Me too.

Let's just put this whole messy business behind us, but leave small traces so that people wonder what we're talking about... and get paranoid that we're working together to bring down Iconomi, bitcoin and the entire crypto space.

Which is totally not what we're doing, guys! Honest!

What about this one, Mal?

I'm just joking around with you, pal.  Crypto is a crazy, crazy game.  We all just do the best we can to make a good decision at any moment.  I am happy to be holding ICONOMI despite its current maddening aspects - and I also don't want to have to figure out what to switch into if I left!

Then you might want to disregard the threatening message I just sent you.

There's some pretty nasty stuff in there.

I retract it all.

We cool.  I'm not as funny as  I think I am sometimes.  I'll delete my comment too.

Just read yesterday's AMA and honestly I can't see big problems with it. Jani gave some good answers, answered most adequate questions.

My most important questions have not been answered yet. I still want these answers, and you should too.

"Who is the designated Community / Communications Director on the ICONOMI team? Can this person commit to a continuous, ongoing presence in a Bitcointalk thread that is moderated to delete troll comments and maintains a serious discussion? Do you realize that a Bitcointalk thread is one of the main ways new investors find information about a coin they know nothing about? And that its not daily ICONOMI news that donators want most, but reassurance they still have a stable and ongoing point of contact with the dev team?"

"Is there a current ICONOMI whitepaper? If so, what is a link to it?"

"Can you provide a specific month-by month release schedule with amounts for the 13 million ICN about to be added to the ICN market? Who gets these 13M tokens?"

"During ICO you committed to weekly dividend distribution. Will you commit to weekly buyback-and-burn? What is your plan to present timely information on how much ICONOMI was bought back and burned at what time and at what price?"

"When will you place all funds that are dedicated to ICONOMI.Performance (ICNP) in their own wallets separate from funds supporting ICONOMI development / cash flow, ICNX and DAMP/DAAs? Where are the wallet addresses listed for all funds currently allocated to ICNP? Could you create as soon as possible AND KEEP UPDATED a public Google spreadsheet listing all cryptocurrencies that are a part of the ICNP funds as well as the date, amount and transfer price for when they were donated / bought / sold ? Would you create iOS and Android apps / an online webpage that allows continuous access to this information, and an ongoing tally of total ICNP value?"

One question of mine that did get answered:

"Who on the ICONOMI team has decision authority to purchase / sell new ICO cryptocoins that are a part of ICNP?"

Answer: "Jani."

Close that browser, go make yourself a cuppa tea and wait for this rocket. Don't panic. Don't sell now. Think of how many months you've held for and we're on the brink.

If crypto has taught me anything is stay calm and HOLD. The second you trade karma will kick in and Iconomi will pump. That's normally how the cookie crumbles lol.

This is what I am trying and trying to tell myself.  It is not a happy time up in my head.

EDIT: I've politely asked Jani these questions again in a PM on the Slack channel.  I hope he responds there, or with answers in the AMA today.  If so, I will edit this post appropriately to delete answered questions.

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 15, 2017, 02:31:36 AM
So if the ICNP appreciated in value from 4 million to 10.3 million, does that count as realized profit once they are put into ICOs? If that's the case, profit is currently $6.3 million once realized, and 20% of that is $1.26 million. So just from the ICNP, we have generated $1.26 million in ICN buy backs, and they haven't even invested 95% of funds yet. This thing is going to be massive.

Yeah, I am slack-jawed in amazement myself about this too.  How many ICONOMI people are coding DAMP / ICNX ?  How many people are running ICONOMI.Performance?  Which project is the ICONOMI cash cow here???  WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR AFTER A HALF YEAR?

How ICN remains under $1 is a mystery to me, even if it is not on Polo.

395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 14, 2017, 09:14:31 PM
NK?  Seriously?  WTF?

I grow increasingly weary of the shell game being played by ICONOMI.  It is killing me that nobody is asking - OR ESPECIALLY ANSWERING - the right questions here.

The goal of ICONOMI is to earn a ROI for ICN holders who funded them in the ICO.  To generate this ROI, ICONOMI is running three projects - DAMP, ICNX and ICNP.

Now what do each of these three projects contribute to the ROI of ICN holders?  DAMP = fees.  ICNX = percentage increases.  ICNP = multiples.

If you could only have one project contributing to the ROI of your ICN, which would you choose - the project returning fees on your investment, the project returning percentage increases on your investment, or the project returning multiples on your investment?

When ICONOMI first came out of the ICO, it had resources in five currencies:  BTC, ETH, LSK, EUR and USD.  The total amount of resources raised from the ICO was around 17,000 BTC. The deal was that 10,000 BTC would go to fund ICONOMI development and the rest would be put into ICNP.

The original ICNP resources at the end of ICO were around 7000 BTC equivalent  worth 605.89 USD each.  This totaled roughly $4.25 million.

Key questions -  Has the money allocated to ICNP been segregated into seperate accounts from the original 10K BTC of ICONOMI operating expenses?  How much of what currency was set aside to go into ICNP?   What are the account numbers for the BTC, ETH and LSK that have been allocated to ICNP?

What percent of the total ICNP fund has been spent purchasing other cryptocurrencies and what percent of it remains unused so far?

What are the new currencies that ICNP has taken a stake in - dates of purchase, cost per coin at time of purchase, and amounts puchased?

Since the ICO, BTC has appreciated by a factor of 1.97, ETH has appreciated by a factor of 3.68 and LSK has appreciated by a factor of 1.20.

What is the appreciated value of the unused ICNP funds?

Waiting for a published quarterly report with all this info is so old economy.

Where can I find a continuously updated dashboard with this basic ICNP information?

And since I know the answer to the question above, here's another:

When will a continuously updated dashboard with this basic ICNP information go online?

I have cross-posted these questions directly to Slack and Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/ICONOMI/comments/65ba12/questions_on_icnp/

Comment posted by snkns at Reddit , cross-posted here for your reading pleasure:

I can answer most of these <Mal Quesions>!

Has the money allocated to ICNP been segregated into separate accounts?

No, it has not. Here are the addresses where the funds are held:

LSK https://explorer.lisk.io/address/6300322192409448238L
ETH https://etherscan.io/address/0x154Af3E01eC56Bc55fD585622E33E3dfb8a248d8
BTC https://blockchain.info/address/3KbWWjumBGLBUWYCeidydxe1uET9QyWoEg

How much of what currency was set aside to go into ICNP?

Rounded because who cares about cent or fractions of LSK:

BTC 2,987
ETH 86,220
LSK 1,729,539
USD $53,433
EUR €1,080,518

<Note by Mal : See https://medium.com/iconominet/iconomi-acquires-9-766-of-byteball-initial-distribution-free-of-charge-cd9c4a5d49ac .>

But I guess "earmarked" would be a better description than actually "set aside." (Professionally, I would be in HUGE trouble if I failed to segregate client or fund assets from my personal or operating accounts. This is really basic but Iconomi doesn't seem to care).

What percent of the total ICNP fund has been spent purchasing other cryptocurrencies and what percent of it remains unused so far?

Zero percent has been spent on purchasing cryptocurrencies. ICNP is a venture capital fund that will invest in ICO's and other early stage investment opportunities. But you knew that.

<Yeah, to me "participating in ICO" = "purchasing cryptocurrencies", but that is sloppy wording on my part.  I applaud your precision with words.>

Less than 5% of available funds have been invested.

The investments that have been made are:
ETH 5000 in Golem on Nov 10, 2016
ETH 2000 in Santiment on Feb 13, 2017
BTC 0.0015 as a registration transaction with Byteball (have received bytes in the first 4 distribution rounds, beginning Dec 27, 2016).

Iconomi reports current ICNP ownership of Byteball is 4,827 GBYTE, which is substantially lower than is should be based on the percentage split established by the first distribution. This number also fails to take into account Iconomi (but not ICNP) expenditure of BTC prior to the 4th Byteball distribution which just occurred on April 11.

(I could go into a lot more detail on this, but suffice it to say, ICNP may be getting stiffed by Iconomi on its fair GBYTE allocation).

What is the appreciated value of the unused ICNP funds?

Iconomi currently provides a total value for the fund, which has some highly suspect math involved. ICNP is divided into 1m tokens, and currently has a token value of a little over $10.30. That means the fund itself is supposedly currently worth $10.3 million.

<So accepting ICONOMI's math (for now), the ICONOMI.Performance fund asset has grown from 4.25M to $10.3M in about six months, mostly due to ICO funds appreciation.  That's 10.30/4.25 = 2.43X multiplier in six months, and is fully owned by ICN holders.  At a 1:100 ratio, each ICN has a fundamentals value of 0.10 USD and MOST OF THE ICONOMI.Performance FUNDS HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN USED YET.  ICONOMI.Performance CURRENTLY HAS SUPERIOR CAPITALIZATION THAN BLOCKCHAIN.CAPITAL IS RAISING IN ITS ICO, WITH BETTER TERMS FOR ICN HOLDERS.  SCREW DAMP FEES (but I'll take 'em!).  SCREW ICNX PERCENTAGES (but I'll take 'em!).  ***MULTIPLES LIKE THESE*** ARE WHY I AM HODLING.>

Where can I find a continuously updated dashboard with this basic ICNP information?

The beta platform has what purports to be this info. The share price is continuously updated, but aspects of it are clearly incorrect (the "highly suspect math"). I'll provide a current screenshot below, but notice a few obvious inaccuracies:

First:
Iconomi reported initial ETH in ICNP was 86,220
Iconomi claims it has invested 7000 ETH in Golem and Santiment cumulatively
Yet you can see in the screenshot below, they still claim all 86,220 ETH as "uninvested".

Second:
Iconomi claims it recouped its initial 5000 ETH investment (plus profit) in Golem by selling 1/3 of its GNT at the first peak
For some bizarre reason the dashboard below does not reflect this at all, and does not give a current GNT balance.
To figure out what the heck is going on here you'd have to reverse-engineer the math on the share price, and I don't have the time or will to do that right now

Third:
The GBYTE issue I noted earlier. Total GBYTE in ICNP should be in the low 6000's by now. It's possible though that their current number just hasn't been been updated to reflect the 3rd and 4th distribution rounds.

ICNP Chart/Facts:
imgur.com/pcYezH5

Am a bit confused though Mal. By my observations, you own at least 1.5% of Iconomi, and I could have sworn you'd indicated you had beta access.

<Nope, as a US citizen, I am ineligible for beta - or even final release - platform access to this data.  THAT'S WHY THIS DATA NEEDS TO BE ON A WEBPAGE DASHBOARD AS WELL AS THE PLATFORM.  This is all news to me...thanks for sharing!>

*****************************************************************************************

What I'm gonna try to do now:

1. Go over all of this with Jani and try to agree on final numbers (with no "highly suspect math") that should be in the 1Q report
2. Try and get the ICONOMI.Performance funds separated into their own accounts before the accountability of them gets even more confusing.

ICNP already has the capitalization level that Blockchain Capital is trying to achieve to do the exact same thing with better terms to the investor.  Why ICONOMI is not issuing daily press releases touting its head start over B.C is totally beyond me.

Any one investing in blockchain.capital? They are running their ico today.

I looked into B.C after being asked to do so.  I am not impressed with B.C altho there are some interesting things to learn from it.  They are attempting to do their token ICO in complete regulatory compliance with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules.  An American like me has present paperwork to B.C verifying I am a Regulation D "accredited investor".  This means I have either (a) $1M+ of assets beside my home or (b) tax returns showing I have made $200K+ in income for the past two years.  So....B.C is an ICO for rich people.  That ain't me.

Plus, if you read the fine print (which you only get to do if you are an "accredited investor", but word has leaked out), IMHO it's not that good of a deal.   They want to raise $50M, with $40M from venture capitalists and $10M from B.C token sales.   They intend to take a 25% cut of any token profits from any ICO investments, plus ongoing management fees.   So for example, say they invest $1M in an ICO and double their money for a $1M profit.  $800K goes to the VCs, $50K goes in their pocket as their profit fee, and less than $150K gets split among the 10M B.C token holders after "management fees" get taken out too.

So, I don't qualify to invest in the B.C ICO and I wouldn't even if I could.

I am pushing for a FAQ with answers....
That's good to know, Mal.  I can see you're taking a more diplomatic approach, and easing into a solution step-by-step....

I look forward to seeing how it goes.

If you think my plan includes you sitting on the sidelines as an observer, guess again.  I appreciate gadflies and think they will serve a valuable function starting around Step Four.

Say for just a moment that somebody created an ICONOMI FAQ Wiki where stuff could be continually updated by the team / accessed by newbies in a central location.  What questions should such a FAQ wiki start with in addition to these?

What Is ICONOMI?
What is the goal of ICONOMI?
How did ICONOMI get started?
Who is the team behind ICONOMI?
Who has partnered with ICONOMI?
What conferences has ICONOMI participated in to tell their story?
How many individual cryptocurrency investors have ICONOMI accounts?
What blockchain does ICONOMI use?
What wallet software does ICONOMI use?
What tokens are used in The ICONOMI Project?
How many ICN tokens are there and how are they distributed?
How many ICNX tokens are there and how are they distributed?
How many ICNP tokens are there and how are they distributed?
Where can I purchase ICN tokens?
Where can I purchase ICNX tokens?
Where can I purchase ICNP tokens?
How is investor profit distributed for holders of ICN tokens?
How is investor profit distributed for holders of ICNX tokens?
How is investor profit distributed for holders of ICNP tokens?
What projects is ICONOMI involved in to generate investor profit?
What is the status of the buyback-and-burn project?
What is the status of the ICONOMI.Index project?
What is the status of the ICONOMI.Performance project?
What is the status of the cofund.it project?
What is the status of the Digital Assets Management Platform (DAMP) project?
How can I create a Digital Asset Array (DAA) fund and use DAMP to promote my fund to investors?
What is the fee for running a DAA on DAMP?

If the big players were concerned they would be voicing their concerns and leveraging their positions to get the team to act or speak but they aren't now are they?

Actually, I have started working behind the scenes to try and get the team to communicate better.   I am pushing for a FAQ with answers for people who show up here daily after seeing a pop on coinmarketcap.com and ask "What is ICONOMI?", "Where can I buy ICN / ICNX / ICNP?" and "Why would I want to but these tokens?"

The team is listening.  Just today they have published a new FAQ on Medium that is a start...but just a start.  I want more information and detail, and so should you.

Please go to this link and comment with one or more question(s) (and ONLY A QUESTION!) that YOU want answered by the ICONOMI team!

https://medium.com/iconominet/iconomi-general-q-a-27e96f7f1d6f

Things have changed so much around here I kinda look forward to seeing these answers myself, just as a refresher course.

Next I want to get this comprehensive FAQ translated into all 40 different languages that were deemed so important to get the ICO message out six months ago.  See the first post of the old thread.
