381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: tool for money laundering - true? on: June 16, 2018, 09:33:35 PM
The media love sensationalism, especially when it comes to novel things that are unknown to the public. They take a couple of isolated cases and generalize against the cryptocurrencies, not with the aim of creating fear, but to generate big headlines with which to get clicks.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto long-term? on: June 15, 2018, 12:33:42 PM
Absolutely, I think that cryptocurrencies are the future and that the day will come when they will be used on a daily basis by most people in the same way that credit cards or online banking are used nowadays.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to Google to have their own coin ? on: June 14, 2018, 09:10:44 PM
Financial executives spoke against # Google's decision
to ban # cryptocurrency # advertising. They argued that
the ban is unethical. Nunn even speculated that the real
reason for the ban is that Google is preparing to launch
its own cryptocurrency.

I don't know if Google will create its own cryptocurrency or not but I'm sure the ban has nothing to do with that possibility. In fact, if they were to create a cryptocurrency, they would be interested in publicizing the cryptos as much as possible.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment on: June 14, 2018, 02:37:49 PM
Would you say getting governments and their regulators such as tax authorities and custom agencies to support crypto payments is a requirement before there will be widespread use?

Without a doubt, uncertainty about regulations is one of the reasons why many businesses do not dare to accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. When everything is clear and the rules are established, it's possible that the process will accelerate as happened in Japan.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how does shit keep getting hacked? on: June 13, 2018, 06:53:59 PM
Nowadays, it's hard to believe that a hack like this is an inside job taking into account that these robberies are investigated by the police and that the exchanges compensate their users for their losses. What is clear is that the exchanges must reinforce their security measures to prevent these hacks from recurring.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto money on: June 13, 2018, 02:31:08 PM
The future of the crypto currency is gradually getting brighter with the number of companies interested in developing it. people from all over the world also know the crypto currency and invest in it, and also the more sophisticated and complete blockcain technology makes people more trust with crypto currency

If you follow the cryptocurrency news regularly, you can see that their future is more than promising. The key is in the adoption, and this process is still slow, probably because many people still look at cryptocurrencies from a speculative point of view, without seeing further, and because we are immersed in a global regulatory process that is still creating uncertainty.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a new cryptocurrency with SMS verification before transfer valuable? on: June 07, 2018, 10:50:02 PM
And would not a normal password be enough? You could set the password when creating the wallet and enter it every time you add an address.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Binance Trading Platform establishes a bank account in Malta. on: June 07, 2018, 03:54:15 PM
Hope with this news we can expect that the Binance exchange will implement some pairs with real fiat money in USD. That would be more assuring to keep the funds in real fiat when the market goes down on correction. Although now I trust Tether it is not the real dollar anyway. And also some True USD appeared on Binance. Don't know much about it. And actually, don't want to know. Hope with implementation of real fiat pairs. True USD will be delisted.

According to what is explained in the news, it seems quite clear that it will be like that. If Binance is going to allow its users to deposit and withdraw real money, it's because they are going to enable trading with fiat money. As for True USD, it's possible that they keep it there like any other crypto.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stay informed about Altcoins? on: June 06, 2018, 04:14:21 PM
There are now many hundreds of Altcoin and token projects. Most of you will certainly be invested in many. How do you manage to keep informed about them? Do you use special websites or tools as well as strategies not to miss anything?
I use blockfolio and alarm it to the price i want to buy and sell, thas the best tools to monitor the price of each of your favorite coin. It also help to see when your token or coin already sell when you set it in exchange.

I am not talking about the price, I am talking about information like blogs news, twitter news and so on. Today there is a wide range of sources which provide a lot of useful information. But it is getting more and more difficult to stay on top of things. Since I am longterm hodler I am more interested in roadmaps and team changes instead of the short-term price developments.

For this, a good option is to subscribe by email to the projects you want to follow in order to receive updates. In addition to this, for a more direct communication, there is the option to join their telegram or discord channels that have the advantage that you can ask specific questions and even receive direct answers from the developers of the projects themselves.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the effect of many of his new cryptocoin against bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 03:04:20 PM
the more the number of cryptocoin emerging in the crypto market would be the effect also in the reduction of bitcoin prices .. we see now that there are so many developers that make new cryptocoin, although not all its cryprocoin made in the market or can enter crypto market .. does the number of crypto be one of the effects of declining bitcoin prices?

No, it has nothing to do with it. Among the factors that influence the price of bitcoin is not the creation of new cryptocurrencies. In fact, last year many new cryptocurrencies were created and the price of bitcoin skyrocketed.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Solution of Piracy ? on: June 06, 2018, 10:31:48 AM
If you refer to copyright, this is indeed the case, it's one of the applications that the blockchain technology has. In fact, there are already platforms that offer the registration of intellectual property in the blockchain.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is gradually spreading on: June 05, 2018, 09:06:23 PM
The blockchain and the cryptocurrencies represent a great technological breakthrough, comparable to the expansion of the internet to all households in the world. It's normal that more and more entities and people realize their potential and that nobody wants to stay out of the wave of progress.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: June 05, 2018, 06:43:02 PM
This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.

There is a little confusion here. Displaying or sharing your ETH address is not a risk in itself. Up until now, it's not possible to hack an ETH wallet just knowing the ETH address. If this were the case, anyone could search for the addresses with more ETH or tokens and hack them.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if every country has its own crypto currency on: June 04, 2018, 04:04:49 PM
I think that this idea, as it's proposed, will not be realized, at least in a generalized way. I don't think that issuing bonds in the form of cryptocurrencies can provide many advantages for investors or for the states. Another thing is that countries can create a cryptocurrency that is the crypto version of their local currencies, but I don't think this makes too much sense, at least for users.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What spaces can blockchain tech revolutionise in the future? on: June 04, 2018, 01:42:16 PM
Since blockchain was a public ledger (everyone could see) So, I think one of government project should be adopting blockchain, let's said elections. Or maybe donations program on the election campaign.

The use of blockchain in the electoral processes is one of the applications of this technology that arouses more interest, especially in those countries where electoral processes can be questioned. However, for this to be a reality, an important obstacle needs to be overcome. This obstacle is to ensure the privacy of voters. At the same time that you must ensure that each vote is unique, it should not be possible to know to which person each vote corresponds.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huawei phones on: June 04, 2018, 10:46:58 AM
It's good that a company as big as Huawei considers the creation and integration of a bitcoin wallet in their smartphones but as a user, I think it is preferable to continue using the known and established wallets that we already know instead of a wallet created by a corporation.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Is Now Make an ICO legal again? on: June 01, 2018, 12:17:55 PM
When the government of South Korea made the decision to ban ICOs, it was known that it was a temporary measure. Some countries prefer to do things like that, first they prohibit, then they research, and in the end, they approve. In all cases, the prohibitions end up being removed over time, it's a pattern that is constantly repeated.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your private keys safe? on: June 01, 2018, 10:43:57 AM
As the latest news about MEW that is being breached thru a phishing attack and got lost of many ethereum can anyone give me a recommendation on how to use and store my private keys safe? I have been scared from that moment on what if i try to login to my MEW and got my account also breach.

There are a few methods to save your private keys securely, however, even if you save your keys well, if you visit a phishing site you will lose all your tokens because when you enter the fake site you are introducing those keys. In the case that you pose, the important thing is to make absolutely sure that you are on the real MEW site or, alternatively, to run MEW offline and locally.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker demand on: May 31, 2018, 03:01:04 PM
Those hackers are really dumb! why they do not demand Monero? its non trackable and privacy is at top.
xrp is trackable and they will lock thos coins on blockchain for sure.

It's the first time I read that a ransom is requested in XRP. Possibly the hackers have read on the internet that the banks are doing tests with XRP and that Ripple is the cryptocurrency of the banks and that's why they have demanded this coin and not another.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker demand on: May 31, 2018, 11:21:24 AM
I suppose the media will focus on the fact that hackers ask for a ransom in cryptocurrency and not on how easy it was for the hackers to access this database. The damage to customers is irreversible because even if the bank pays the ransom, nothing ensures that the hackers will not sell the data on the black market to get more money.
