381  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 24, 2020, 05:35:23 AM
If people decide to use crypto, precious metals, and physical cash, will it be possible to live a normal life without a bank?
Again physical money? What about living with cryptos and precious metals alone? I mean if you hold or depend on physical cash then that means you are still living a life with traditional banks; no big differences.

There are 2 possibilities about living without banks:
1. Only you and me hold and use cryptos whereas most other people yet to adopt cryptos but there are widely available exchanges which help to pay and get paid in cryptos to the people not yet making use of cryptos.

2. When everything available for cryptos then everyone may start living without the need of banks. A purely decentralized economy.

I guess we are going to enter into the first possibilities and will be sticking there for a while until the second one gets ready!
382  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 23, 2020, 08:19:43 PM
Quite funny that I came across a post here and someone was saying that people shouldn't be saving their money because it will be affecting the economy and causing it to fall lol. This is like a normal thing that everyone is going to be doing this time, whether the economy is falling or not, people just want to save their money and avoid stories that touch. You just don't know what can happen.

If you spend all your money now and things go really bad tomorrow, seriously, what are you going to do to help yourself out? And for the part of concentrating on your jobs, I think people should as well be looking for other jobs online to have as a means of side income.

Definitely we must need many strategies to survive in the economy that we are going to face after the end of current pandemic. Because, our economy is going to be complete different than what we had some 6 or 10 months back. It means our income stream may not be the same like before. So, we must need some practical strategies to cope the situation and definitely we need another one year of time to get back to a normal life.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: May 23, 2020, 07:38:16 PM
There are times I will sit down and think about bitcoin halving and when cryptocurrencies  will reach new all time high. The last time it happened was in 2017 for strong cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.

There are only 21 million btc to be mined. And, only  18,236,512 btc has been mined. Only 2,763,488 btc remaining.

I am just thinking that with the little remaining bitcoin, can the effect make the price of cryptocurrencies  to reach new all time high. It sounds impossible to me but I know that the price will increase but may not reach new all time high.
Yes there is going to be a bull run now that the halving has taken place, but it's not going to be immediately, it's going to take some time. The day the Halving happened I didn't even know, because I wasn't checking the countdown. I just woke up and saw the news that the halving happened. I was a bit excited, but not because I thought that there was going to be a pump, it was just normal. I do know that as time goes on the price will increase.

But as per the last halving and its subsequent market reactions, we cane expect new ATH to happen in coming months. After first halving bitcoin prices reached $1000 for the first time and the 2nd halving took the prices to test around $20,000 and this time 3rd halving just happened and we cannot speculated where is going to be the new ATH; it may be 10x higher than the previous ATH.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am feeling Regret on: May 23, 2020, 06:56:15 PM
I don't see why anyone should be regretting. You shouldn't be regretting , it's not over yet and there is nothing wrong. Even if you woke up and the price crashed to a very low level, it's still not a reason to give up. Not to talk of when there is a minor crash. The price of Bitcoin has been stable and it's growing, it reached $9,900 last week but currently trading around $9,200.

So, I don't really see why you should be worried. You should simply relax and watch the growth. Most of you thought that Halving will make the price pump all of a sudden, but that's not the truth, it's going to take a while before things set. But. halving will be the actual trigger for bitcoin markets pump but it will happen on its own usually in the following year. So, holding right now and planning to sell by the end of 2021 may get you ten folds profits.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: May 23, 2020, 07:22:41 AM
We are closing to the bitcoin halving event and the orice has already startes to act to the event as expected. We may now see a significant increase in BTC price as well. Is it a good time to invest some money on some altcoins, obviously on the top altcoins only.
Even at this time there are still people who are afraid to invest, and some are saying that the price of bitcoin will fall because miners will drop out. So, they now think that it is best for them to wait till the price falls after some miners stop business, and they will be able to buy at a cheaper rate lol. I guess in this crypto space, we are always getting such buying opportunity continuously with respect to future prices to get decent profits.

They are not even hundred percent sure whether what they are saying is true, what if the price never goes below the $9,000 price range? What if it just continues to stick around this price and then all of a sudden it starts going up and then those that are waiting for it to decrease before they buy will end up losing their opportunity that they had to invest?
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: May 23, 2020, 06:48:46 AM
I have been waiting for the last three years for the altcoins to go high but it hasn't happened yetm hopefully utilities coin will find a market soon.
Yes, only the coins and tokens which are based on a real world utility may find the growth and all others may get delisted very soon. I hope the wait of all of us will find an end very soon. The bitcoin halving may do all the needful. Moreover, this must be the time to buy more to hold for next 2 years.

These opportunities for altcoin by addon and include part of everything, that very good. And can make the new flagship on blockchain technology.
I think people who are saying that altcoins follow the price movement of Bitcoin are wrong. There are altcoins that follow the price movement of Bitcoin, but it's not all of them that correlate. The level at which they correlate with BTC varies, some are around 90%, and there are others that are way less than 50%. So, it's not really all of them that are the same.

There are times that Bitcoin will be falling and some of them will be going up, so they are not really the same. Altcoins that have a close price correlation with Bitcoin are mainly the top altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), XRP, Litecoin and the rest of them.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Doom of the Stablecoin Industry? on: May 23, 2020, 04:48:06 AM
Lol, how does banning stablecoins have anything to do with the whole cryptocurrency market.
Yes, I do know that I wouldn't like them to ban the stablecoins, but if they do, I don't think it's going to have any effect on Bitcoin, for example: causing the price to fall. The only thing is that there is going to be a reduction in the market total market cap, but it's not going to reduce the price of others.

I am not really going to blame them, they are trying to save themselves from losing relevance, because cryptocurrency seems to be replacing everything this time around and they don't want to lose it to cryptocurrency. They might not worry about volatile cryptocurrencies, because they feel that people will be afraid to adopt the unstable coins.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: about whales entering and leaving exchange on: May 22, 2020, 03:45:16 PM
You are not even sure if the information you're getting is correct . If it's correct, then it's likely to have an effect in the market, but you shouldn't really be relying on these websites, if you're not sure as to whether they are right or not. It is best to just use technical analysis and do your thing, if you're good at it. You can also be making use of the news and big platforms like Cointelegraph.com and the rest of them. Most of the good experts I see usually just make use of technical analysis and they also follow up with trends to know what's going to happen next.

If we get chances to follow whales to enter and leave the markets along with them then we can easily make profits from crypto markets. Because, if we trade along with whales then we can easily ride on market directions as whales are known for manipulating markets at their preferences.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The low risky way to hold Bitcoin. Buy Bitcoin now, i can't wait anymore on: May 22, 2020, 01:56:52 PM
1. I bought BTC at binance
2. I will withdrawl the most part of my bitcoin to my personal address
3. The other part of bitcoin were transfered to my deribit account
4. Long put options at deribit , the position almost equal to point2 , the expiration is June20
I have not heard about the Deribit you're talking about, I guess I will have to do my research and understand it better. The ones I know, like crypto.com, you just have to invest and hold your coins and when the price goes down your coins will still go down with it, except that they are giving 7 to 8% of your amount of assets to you annually and another one is freebitco.in where they are paying 4% interest for our bitcoin balances on daily basis and it will be available at any time without any restrictions and there is no locking period before you start earning daily interests.

I don't really do much apart from invest into bitcoins and Hodl , don't really consider other options there are. But, this Deribit you have mentioned here seems to be quite interesting since I wouldn't have anything to lose, even if I do it wouldn't be much, and that's if it's legit.
390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The next serious threat to bitcoin after Coronavirus on: May 22, 2020, 12:35:36 PM
This is really making me sad, it's really bad mate. The thing is, I know very well that there are good people who are Muslims out there, but sadly the bad ones are too many. The terrorists out there are spoiling their names and making it seem like all Muslims are bad, and that's because they carry out their terrorist activities in the name of Muslims. Where I live I have some Muslim friends in my neighborhood that are very good and peaceful people to live with.

There is no way we can easily tell the bad ones from the good ones in the world, except if we get to know them, which is not possible. I do the entire world is slowly recovering themselves as they are about to relax the lockdown restrictions but the problems mentioned by you may not find a short term solutions but it could be solved when developed countries working for a honest and feasible solution.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 21, 2020, 06:19:22 PM
The reason why players prefer professional workers over fans is the simple fact that professional workers will leave when you pay them and that is the end of the topic. When you are getting to close with fans they may want more, they may act like you are in a relationship, they may even go as further as trying to have your baby so that they would get a lot of free money. In the long run being with a fan is more expensive in both financial terms (probably) but also it is more tiring emotionally.

So these people who are super rich and still quite young that they have a high libido, prefer the company of professional workers in order to simply just get what they need and then be on their way when it is done which worths every penny for a super rich person to not have any headaches.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 21, 2020, 04:03:28 PM
Well, if they could just remove all the regular seasons and simply go straight to playoffs right now, they could potentially just remove all the remaining games. Definitely, there could have been some changes at the bottom of the playoffs and so forth but they are not really good enough teams that they would be going for championship anyway.

So start with playoffs directly, make the playoffs first rounds just 5 game series instead and you suddenly have like just one month deal instead of months of gaming. You could literally start that late July and you could still finish at the right time and still give people some break to relax and I feel like few months break then going to new season would be enough for them as well. It is really all depends on how much they are willing to change the rules.

Hi, can you please check if site is working properly... I have to write here cause I can't contact support other way because
I can't sign-in - when I click on sign-in button nothing happens... I have tried from different browsers.

It was slow for me yesterday (earlier today in my local time). You just need to click the sign in and wait for a while, a capctcha button will appear,,, solve that slowly and then sign in again. Just wait 15 seconds or so,,, you will be logged in. Autobetting was very slow but I guess site traffic was earlier today.
The new google captcha thingy has caused a lot of trouble in a lot of places, for example it is creating some issues to me at 4chan as well, I usually do not even have to solve the captcha because the old google captcha would basically ask me tens of times but eventually would realize I am a human and I would only click and I would get a pass without solving it after a while, now it is both different and asks each and every single time, probably solved hundreds of them so far and still asks. You know the new captcha that is everyone that I am talking about, its the one with different design and basically three images at the top and 9 or so images at the bottom asks you to pick and has levels to it and so forth. That changed a ton of stuff for a lot of websites.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: May 19, 2020, 07:45:46 PM
I agree especially when you have only small money to trade and you lack the experience. Anyways if you put your money on the right Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin then in long term perspective you dont have to worry because you'll definitely profit unlike in day trading where you could loss everything in one single day.
This is what exactly I am doing for more than a year after losing a big capital in altcoin trading. Now, my investments in bitcoin is recovering my losses and I guess when bitcoin will be testing some $15k levels, I might have achieved 2x growth along with recovering my trading losses. Definitely I might not have done the same with trading given that the level of confident on my own trading skills.

A timely guidelines from this community made a changes in my life. I guess bitcoin investment might have transformed many people's life how I have experienced. I guess it would be definitely impress new people here when early adopters share their success stories. I guess if there would be any such topic then it might be easier for people to share rather than discussing under trading board.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Easiest Way For New Traders To Profit From The Crypto Market on: May 19, 2020, 06:33:18 PM
There are easier ways for new traders to profit from the Crypto market without all the struggles of fine-tuning strategies and learning to read the market.
Do not try to deceive people here by calling some methods/strategies as easier way. Because, nowhere easier money will be possible. Even there are any loopholes if spotted by someone which may get fixed when more people will be trying the same thing. Hence, there cannot be anything easier in this world and particularly in crypto trading as well.

One of the proven easier way to make money in crypto trading is hodling bitcoins. Please note only bitcoin and not any other altcoins. Moreover, holding may get you easier money over the years of waiting and not just within a week or month. I do hold my bitcoins since 2017 and I guess I may hold it till 2024 also because I am just saving it for my retirements hence there should be much easier way for me making multi-fold money in future Cool.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important ? on: May 19, 2020, 03:31:00 PM
It's very important that you know how to asses the risk and that you are aware what potential loss you can take. Otherwise you might find yourself in troubled situation and generate too much losses that you can't handle.
Yes, risk management is all about pre-calculating about how much losses a trader may able to afford on unexpected events. Experts usually coin this as "calculated risk". When the traders who are not bothering about how much losses they may face with respect to available capital and how long it may take to recover the losses if happens, then they may not able to sustain in trading over the long run.

Unfortunately, not all traders are aware the risk enough or they simply ignore it thinking they will be lucky enough.
But luck doesn't have anything to do with risk and you can't make profit all the time.
If you notice, people are mostly luckier to escape but they may get trapped one day or other. Unfortunately people are learning about risk management only after facing some disaster. It means they start thinking about risk management and start giving importance to it only after gaining considerable experience.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: May 18, 2020, 09:31:19 PM
I just want to talk about what should be avoided whereas all people here are talking about what should be followed:
The biggest thing must be avoided is, people who think they can come into bitcoin world and can get rich over night. They see that bitcoin moved from 4k to 10k in a month and they think "hey if I put my 10k life savings into this, I will have over 20k!! that is awesome!!" and buy from 10k and it drops to like 8k and they suddenly realize that is not how this works. That is probably the worst part of bitcoin world, people do not realize that they could potentially do something much better if they just focused on smaller income instead of getting rich right away.

Now some tip from my side:
Just aim at that 5% profit, first get that, do not think like "what do I do after the 5%", just think about that 5%, after that you can move from there because that first 5% profit will make you realize everything you need to realize.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: predictions and speculations on the price of bitcoin and altcoin approaching Eid on: May 18, 2020, 09:01:32 PM
What will happen about the price of bitcoin and altcoin before Eid? whether bitcoin and altcoin will reduce prices because of course there are many people who want to sell their assets in preparation for Eid, of course for those who want to celebrate, maybe even vice versa prices will rise at a higher rate, what will happen how speculation traders and investors think here?
People that are selling their coins, seriously what are they using it for? Or don't they have another money that is kept as savings that they can use to celebrate the Eid without having to sell their coins? If they do sell their coins then I don't know what's going to happen.

There has been a halving and the cryptocurrency market has been a bit up quickly after the halving. I am already looking forward to a bull from here. Although it's not going to be something that's going to happen immediately, it's still going to happen, even if it's next year, just like it did the last time when halving happened. But, if bull run happens around festival times then I guess that must be a great thing for many people but no one could do anything about that.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crucial month ahead: Bitcoin goes to 20k or 3k range on: May 18, 2020, 08:26:38 PM
I love it whenever I see this topic Cheesy. Seeing this huge marginal difference, like its going to be 3k range OR 20k!! Look at the freaking difference Cheesy. Of course they are possible in the bitcoin world and that is why I love it so much.

One more thing, this new chart may look a bit bearish, but I am full on warning everyone, whenever the chart looks obvious to one direction there was always an unexpected thing that changed the price right at the opposite and I am fearing something may actually happen 180 degree to upwards, I mean that would be great because I have bitcoin but these unexpected moves usually scare people off and have a big downfall correction so let the charts fix before we go up and that way everyone will be on board, that would be better.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvings impact on Bitcoins price on: May 18, 2020, 07:03:34 PM
In short term bitcoin price is already over 9.8k as of right now, how do you really not see it going over 10k when there is only 200 dollars left? That is literally 0.2% difference between 10k and the current price. However it may not go over 15k that is understandable. Yet the halving impact is not a one time short term thing, it is a longer term thing.

Think about it this way, you have a country that prints money constantly to cover the expenses, they know that printing money makes it less valuable, so your money becomes less valuable as well, do think like Zimbabwe dollars but more like Ukraine money and that kind of means that if you do not really print forever if you are Ukraine, however if you suddenly stop printing, and even stop longer than other nations, USA will still print right? That means your money will start to worth even more dollars as Ukrainians. Think of it like that.
