382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: December 30, 2017, 03:33:40 PM
The furure of gambling is that more and more players will start and continue playing at online gambling sites using crypto currencies for deposits and withdrawals. You can do it any time comfortable from home and without any restrictions and this is exactly what gamblers want.
When we decide gambling we want to be anonymous and we do want to stay away from KYC and I believe cryptocurrency is the future of gambling.
Let's be optimistic about the future as we are going at the right path, more gambling sites are operating now and some big sites are already accepting bitcoin.
I think after becoming Bitcoin famous there are more online casinos are coming to the market. And these digital currencies are made easy to deposit and withdraw their money in without using KYC. And nobody can track your gambling records. So I think in future these online gambling sites become more famous than offline gambling sites.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: December 30, 2017, 03:22:04 PM
I prefer in real casino, compare to online casino I get more excited in an actual game where I could see other players, Hold my cards, free drinks and sometimes a free dessert. In real casino I make friends literally and somehow some of business partners today were my opponent in a poker tournament. Though as a occasional gambler, There are times that I couldn't visit so I do gamble online but I don't normally stay long unlike in a real casino.
It's true playing in real casinos is more exciting than playing thru online. Other than that its more easy to played real gambling compare to digital gambling. Also I enjoyed face to face gambling battle like poker, lucky 9 and so on. Definitely I can't stop playing gambling because it gives addiction to me and other people.
We will get it all types of entertainment in real casinos from drinks to girls. But it is only good for those who like to spend more money to play different types of games in the casinos. There is no limit for types of casinos games, and all games will tempt us to play. One thing for sure if we go real casino we will come out with empty hands. Online gambling will not give more entertainment, but it is good to compare offline gambling.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: December 30, 2017, 02:50:02 PM
Using social media to get the attention of our friends about Bitcoin is a good idea but it depends on the type of friends that you have. If majority of your friends are not open to new things and like to use the mainstream then theres a low chance that your post will be noticed. But if you have friends who are open to ideas and open to risks then post away and you'll see a lot of curious query in your mailbox.
Using social media for advertising or promoting bitcoin is a nice idea where can get attention of all people who active in social media sites. On the other hand, some people prefer to used as a medium where they used it to deliver all update and information bitcoin. Using social media to spread knowledge about bitcoin is the best way to attract investors.
And also it is a disadvantage if your governament oppose bitcoin in your country. We can promote anything is social media but what we promote it should be a legal thing if it is illegal in your country you will face issues. So promoting is easy but what we are promoting we should know, and we should take care.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 30, 2017, 02:20:58 PM
As I predicted , this match is going to end as draw but there is a slight chance that England can win this if they bowl really well tomorrow , they gotto restrict Aussies to atleast like 400 so that they can chase down 250 on the last day but it doesn't seem like it.

A draw does seem like the most probable result. We saw that Australia collapsed in a heap in the first innings. It is hoping for lightning to strike the same spot twice, but that is the only way that England can win. Australian batsmen are batting confidently and have reached 103/2 now.

Smith again played the captain innings and saved the OZ from possible loss if they would have lost quick wickets. On the other hand England would be slightly disappointed since they would have sense somewhere on 4th day that they had a chance to make 3-1 in the series which ended up in a draw.

England deserved to win the Boxing day rest, bad luck for them rain and Steven Smith denied them victory. Had match not interrupted by rain in the 4th day things would've been different for England, anyway it's all part and parcel of the game moral victory for England. Let's see who will the last last test that will be played in Sydney.
I think if rain not interrupted also it was not possible to win this match for England team. Warner and Smith played a real test match today. Look at how many balls they played Warner 227 and Smith 275 balls. They played to make this test Draw. But really it was bad luck for England they had a chance to win this game.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple - good time? on: December 29, 2017, 02:46:20 PM
I missed out on Ripple. I had some at 30 cents then sold it. I had bought ripple several times and sold it without much profit and it's really sad as I could have had now over one bitcoin of it. What a shame and it keeps going up so I doubt now I can ever buy any at this price. I missed out on Ripple like I did on Bitcoin, Lightcoin, Ethereum., Dash and Monero. Bitcin is really losing steam now as it is getting so expensive to move around. Ripple seems to be the answer for cheap and fast transactions sigh. Maybe I should buy a few just for posterity to hold.

That's sad to hear but that's life sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Now ripple and ethereum are eye to eye on market capitalization both at $70+ billion dollars. I think it's too risky to buy ripple at this moment because it looks like it could go for a dip at any time.  Smiley

There is no need to to be sad because it is common in trading. and this is the difference b/w short time holders and longterm holders. I bought the same coin when it was under $0.3 and sold it when it reached $0.8. After that again it dropped to $0.4 I repurchased it and doubled my coins. Then again the price start to pump I felt it will go high that's why I hold my coins. Now I am pleased with my decision.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 to HODL till December 2018. on: December 29, 2017, 02:36:42 PM
I have a small bag of Cardano but non of the others. Others under one dollar that I hold and hope they do hit one dollar are COB, COSS and i also bought a small bag of BITDEGREE and have a decent bag of BITCLAVE which sold out in minutes in its ICO and was ten cents ICO PRICE. I hope to collect more of these coins over the first quarter of 2018 in a big way by doing jobs and also buying up and hoping end of 2018 to be able to have a decent nest egg of some sorts, let's see what time will tell.
Cardano I bought when it was in hike movement but suddenly it dropped, right now I am in the loss but I hope in future it will grow up. Apart from this coin the best coin below $1 is NEM right now this is near $0.8 but if you buy and keep it for a couple of months, you can make a good profit. And what other coins you are telling I am aware of these coins.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: December 29, 2017, 02:22:00 PM
for me the typical time to gamble around 12pm to 4pm it is less hectic and more convenient with if I happen to have a struggle time doing some bet that would be around 12am and so. it less more creepy and the ppl also are creepy. Cry
Seriously you gamble at those times? I don't have a certain time range of when to gamble.

I just gamble whenever I want and I think there's a need of doing it so. Mostly I only gamble when I'm bored and want to have some fun.
I also even don't make any particular time to play gamble. whenever I get bored I will spend few minutes and play some casino games. sports betting depends on game and teams if my fav teams are playing I will take time and place my bet and I usually check it evening time.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am looking for a different gambling. please recommend on: December 29, 2017, 02:16:20 PM
You should be specific on what you like, there are a lot of gambling games here such as blackjack, poker, dice, and if you love sports there's sports betting. I think you ain't different person, you also like what we like so just choose which game to enjoy. This is quite different because some are just seeking for recommendation on which site to gamble, but in his case he want different games.

I would suggest sports betting and poker. In case dice is something you have tried and still found it to be mostly a waste of time then you should try them. Though there are very few good and reputed sports betting websites out there people are always making some scam accusation against them. Dont buy into all the FUD.

Again sports betting can give the gambler and edge over others because they may know some inside news and its based on the gamblers skills and knowledge of the game.
Exactly, I also will recommend sports betting if someone will come to me to take an advice that which game should I play in gambling. Sports betting is something more easier than other games in gambling because if you have a little knowledge of the game you want to bet upon, You can easily make a win by betting on a bigger team and this will not put you in big losses as you will be able to know that which team is going to win.
Sports betting is a safe way to make money in gambling. Here we will not lose more bets if we have enough knowledge of games. But the thing is we will not get more fun on this sports betting. You want to get more fun you must watch the game where you placed your bet or else no use. The casino games are risky, but it will give you more fun. In casino games, you will find different types of games to play.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 29, 2017, 02:10:37 PM
Really pleased to see England performing well in this 4th test and have the upper hand now...Altair cooks making his 5th double hundred and broad played well as well... I would love to see England winning this match now
Really glad to see England fighting back with Cook and Board putting up a hundred run partnership in the tenth wicket which is really great to see as a performance as they frustrated the Australian bowling line up with the way they handled those situations,if not for Cook's performance England would not have scored this many runs,if they can bowl out Australia they could win this or draw this match.
Now we have just two results for this match Draw or England as this is very good lead for visitors they can play safe now 150+ great job by Cool and Broad both play very positive and good cricket specially Broad was on fire I believe this was not catch but still we cannot do with technology and give this controversial decision clearly all watching ball was not in hand but still good game for visitors

England lead by 164 runs in the 1st innings and lost all wickets. Now need to see how they will bowl out Australian in second innings.

Australia started their second innings very carefully and they scored 26 runs in first ten overs without losing wickets. This is the best start from Australia because there is a chance that they can lose wickets if they go after a bowler when a bowl is still new. Australia currently trails by 138 runs. England has to pick wickets quickly otherwise they will lose a chance to win this match.
Day 4 stumps AUS made 103/2 and trail by 61 runs. Only one day left if England wants to win this match they have pick 8 wickets and restrict AUS for a low score. I think this could be not possible AUS will play for Draw because they know they can't win this game. England missed a good opportunity to win this game.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: December 28, 2017, 02:56:48 PM
Hello,

I am an admin of wheel99.com

To celebrate our 1millionth spin, we created a new theme (design).
We are also looking to promote our site in several ways.
a giveaway, a contest and others are planned.

Do you guys have ideas how to promote our site?

Kind regards,

Steffson

You can make your own announcement thread about your gambling site on gambling section here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 and for promotion, giveaway, contest or something like that you can post it on games and round section here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0.
I don’t know much more about where to advertise gambling site but as far as my knowledge is concerned, you should got to some social websites where more than hundred people are logged in so that more people become aware about your gambling site. And if you want your website to spread like a fire in a few days, you should better consult with famous gambling sites and make a contract.
Now we don't have more USD or local currency based gambling sites all most all sites will allow people to use only cryptocurrencies. So this forum is the best place to promote your gambling site and also you can open social media campaigns in this same forum to spread your site name all over the world.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advise on choosing an exchange on: December 28, 2017, 02:47:54 PM

hi everyone..

I'm from Pakistan and am having difficultly in choosing an exchange. I basically need an exchange to which I can depot amount using my debit card and withdraw in USD as well. I've tired coinbase but it doesn't work for my country. Cex rates are quite expensive compared to ones on coinmarketcap. Bittrex doesn't accept money through debit card and there is no option of withdrawing in fiat.

Kindly advise a reliable exchange.

The advice is only depending on what do prefer. For example you want many choices of altcoin. So bittrex is the answer.
The other option of exchanger is binance. It is on top popular one too so thats mean binance is good choice too.

I think you people are not understanding what exactly OP is looking for, he wants to deposit money using cards and withdraw in USD. in bittrex this option is not there and if you find any other websites, surely they will not give you exact price what coinmarketcap will show. I think to find some local exchanges this is the best option.
393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: December 28, 2017, 02:38:49 PM
Stocks has a smaller percentage of loosing money and earning, but in crypto you will have a bigger percentage of loosing and earning money and what can i say that crypto is very more volatile than stocks.
This is why people are able to make big profit with crypto trading because here you observe sharp changes in the values of coin over short time period whereas this is not the case with stock market. This market is very much stable in its prices and that’s why u need to hold your shares for a long time to get some handsome profit. The way technology is increasing, I sent think so anyone is going to prefer stock over crypto.
Yes crypto trading a short time business and here you can make a good profit in short time as well as you can lose everything in one shot. You must ready to accept both in crypto trading. The stock is not like this, and you can not make an100% instant profit in stock trading, but it is possible in crypto trading. Whatever it may be and how much risk comes people prefer crypto trading why because we need instant profit.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: December 28, 2017, 02:30:45 PM
There are some advantages why cash is better than bitcoin especially when you buy something with smaller value you can use your cash also when you buy at small stores where small amount of money is needed  you can pay it right away no need for internet connection not like bitcoin
One thing i want to clear we can't buy anything using bitcoin directly in any shoppe except Japan i think. Because still, it is not acceptable in all countries. And nowadays people are doing a more digital transaction if it small amount also people uses some third party apps and pay the bill, so internet is not a problem. For me the main reason is the value of the cash will never change but the value of the bitcoin will keep on changing.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 28, 2017, 02:24:46 PM
Really pleased to see England performing well in this 4th test and have the upper hand now...Altair cooks making his 5th double hundred and broad played well as well... I would love to see England winning this match now

That 164 run lead will surely bring some worries for the Australian team and if they could pull it close to 200 with the 10th wicket, then advantage will be for the English team.
Great come back from Cook amazing double ton and if Anderson gives him good support tomorrow maybe he will make 300 runs, two days left I think England have a big chance to win this game. Don't know how the AUS batsman will play in second innings now this match come to one conclusion either England will win or else Draw.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: December 28, 2017, 02:15:18 PM
I think bitcoin will include in the topic in economics subject which belongs to growing currency now adays if college school will adopt bitcoin topic. We have to accept and spread the knowledge of what bitcoin is all about and looking forward that bitcoin will use in many transactions just like cash.

I agree, since Bitcoin affects the economics and the industry. Also when we study economics, our teachers say that when the demand of the product is high, the value of it rises. That is also the same with Bitcoin, when the demand in the market is high, the price of it rises. But I doubt it will be available now, unless the governments legalize Bitcoin.

The demand and supply is the basic concept of any kind of trading either it maybe crypto trading or stock trading. But this topic is needed for a college level students they must be know how the digital currencies will affect their future life. But making bitcoin legal in all countries is not easy some countries already started to ban bitcoin.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money have you cashed out from bitcoin on: December 28, 2017, 02:08:29 PM
I actually earned my bitcoin by participating in signature campaigns and I made my first cash out about 2 weeks ago.  I cashed out bitcoins worth about $150.
I used my cash to buy a new phone.
Now, I'm  I have venture into trading to earn more bitcoins.
Well in my case I also earned bitcoin and altcoins in participating also in the signature campaigns which sometime sometimes give me a huge profit and sometimes if its not luckily happened I haven't been earned. So all I can say in bitcoin you'll get a chance to earned that was huge and sometimes you'll get unsatisfied for what you've earned

I am satisfied what i earned from the signature campaign. Otherwise, it is very tough for me to earn in other business. Last 2 months it was unbelievable profit I made and I used that money to buy some things for my home. I am not sure how much I earned, but it helps me a lot and I am fully satisfied.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is having USDT the most efficient way to buy altcoins during dips? on: December 26, 2017, 03:43:42 PM
Let me see if I can paint the picture clearly to clarify for others.

He's not suggesting USDT as an investment, but rather a way to park your funds. Let's look at an example using USD.

I have $15,000 USD and buy 1 BTC @ $15,000 and immediately invest it in ALT1 @ .0001 BTC (10K shares). ALT1 rises to .0002 BTC = 100% increase, great! I take those 10K shares and convert back to BTC, now worth 2 BTC (10K x .0002). I then convert those 2 BTC back into USD and now have $30K USD. Soon after, the coin markets drop considerably and BTC is now valued at $10,000. I can now take my $30,000 USD (unchanged in value) and buy 3 BTC.

So instead of holding 2 BTC and having it drop with the market to ~1.3 BTC, I now have 3 BTC.

The question is can USDT be used the same way as USD in this scenario and roughly with the same result??

If not, why?
Yes is the answer to your question. USD and USDT are almost same why because the price of the 1 USDT is equivalent to 1 USD price.

And here if the price is dropped then your strategy will work out, but if it increased to $20k, then you feel why you converted it into USDT.

399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: December 26, 2017, 03:35:50 PM
i really don't understand how the price increase or decrease?i saw that price coin changes randomly. If anyone help to know trading,I will be very grateful.

actually predict the price of coins no one can this only depends on the luck we can also determine the coin price of the graph and from the circulation of the coin.
Prediction is nothing but guessing we can just imagine one price but to reach that price we need luck. Sometimes our guessing will go wrong and sometimes it will work out. So I think no one can give an exact prediction for this cryptocurrency price.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: December 26, 2017, 03:30:34 PM
Bitcoin getting too expensive to gamble with it fact and everyone is accepting it. Now bitcoin itself promoting altcoins for its frequent access due to its fees. In future it is going to be revised by bitcoin other wise altcoin going to dominate.

Bitcoin price is not the main concern now but its expensive fee and a long time to confirm the transactions is the biggest concern. Not only for gambling but even to send or receive coins it is too troublesome now. It is best to use some altcoins for both gamblings and for daily needs instead of waiting for days to get our transactions to confirm.

You are right, now the price is not making big matter the confirmation time, and the fee is making people to not use in gambling sites. Winning money in gambling is a big matter now withdrawing our winnings also become a big matter. So playing with altcoins is best no risk fast deposit and quick withdrawal.
