Just finished watching Pallace vs. City. The game ended with a draw and it could prove to be very costly for city. Jesus and Debruyne picked up nasty injuries and now we have to wait for medical reports. Just hope these are not season ending injuries with world cup in the summer as well.
This is the best news i have had in recent weeks and it was rather unfortunate that Crystal Palace failed to win the game after they got a penalty only to miss it in the 92nd minute of playing time. Well they have at least put an end to the winning streak of Manchester City and with both Gabriel Jesus and their number one playmaker injured, i think things will soon come crumbling down for Pep Guardiola's side.

I think that Guardiola would have preferred to lose this match but not risk losing 2 of his best players due to injury!
the Premier League has already been won, but if the 2 injuries are serious they will have a negative effect on the results of the champion's league

I try a good triple-up in Nba:

Oklahoma vs Milwaukee:
Oklahoma is in great shape (6 consecutive wins) and has already won 14 of 18 times al home.
WIN OKLAHOMA at quote@1.40

Golden State vs Charlotte:
Golden State is the strongest teams in NBA. Charlotte has lost 12 of 14 times away.
WIN GOLDEN STATE at quote@1.20

Chicago vs Indiana:
Chicago bulls is in great physical shape, in fact he has won the last 6 games played at home, and has won 9 matches of the last 11 played
WIN CHICAGO at quote@1.70
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 30, 2017, 12:01:34 AM
the Australian Open are close and Federer seems the favorite especially for the physical conditions of his strongest opponents:
Murray, Djokovic, Nadal, Raonic, Nishikori and Wawrinka are in bad shape and maybe some of them will not participate.
A.zverev is not yet ready to win a slam tournament.
So Federer ,I think, he can win again this year and get closer to the first place in the atp ranking.

Yes I'm really looking forward to the Australian Open, finally we have tennis back in Australia. Federer is strong favorite as most of his rivals have injury concerns or have not played for some time. Its most likely that Federer will win for the second year in a row but I would like to see Nick Kyrgios maybe challenge for the title as he now has a coach and he seems to be much better mentally now then previous years. So I hope he can go all the way.

I am absolutely convinced that this year there will be many surprises at the Australian Open!
Kyrgios, for example, could take advantage of his opponents' bad shape conditions and finally show everyone his talent.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11188304/kane-doubt-for-swans-due-to-illness

Seems like Kane might be out for the next game. Has he actually got a cold or did he eat too much over Christmas? hehe.

The article goes on to say that Pochettino sees him as a 'one club man'. Anyone disagree or agree? For some reason I don't really see Kane as world class even though he was the PL top scorer last season and is currently ahead by three goals but I'm not sure how he'd fit in to any other club than Spurs. I think he's a bit like Vardy in that respect. Vardy is great in Leicester and gets most of their goals but he'd be like a fish out of water in any other decent team like Arsenal (and I think there were rumors of him possibly going there last season). Could he end up becoming like Bale and leaving Spurs for a big Spanish or European side? IF he did I think his career would go the same way Bales did and end up being a bit of a waste.
I am very certain that Pochettino is saying this because he wants to keep his star player in the team, without a doubt when the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona come with a fat cheque, they are going to immediately sell without thinking twice about it.
You are wrong. They mentioned this during the weeks EPL game when one of them mentioned that Spanish teams will come calling to Kane with their bags of money.
They said even if one club offers him 20 million pounds to move out of the Premier league to La Liga he will not sell his soul out to the devils.
As they had put it.
Harry Kane is a true Briton through and though. No matter how much euros they want to throw at him.

Kane's contract will expire in 2022 but Tottenham is ready to renew it with a significant increase in his engagement (currently 5.5M a year).
If Tottenham wants to win any competition must absolutely keep Harry Kane!

Hamilton, speaking of f1!, declared with disappointment the choice of running the GP of France to Le Castellet (GP Paul Ricard).
He would have preferred to run on other French circuits like Le Mans or Magny-Cours which are historical and glorious circuits.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's up with arbitrage on: December 29, 2017, 11:24:48 PM
It's really complicated to do arbitrage.
It is necessary to have many funds divided on various exchanges.
Also at this moment unfortunately the fees to transfer btc are very high and limit this opportunity.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you still Trading, Investing in this Chrismas and New Year Time..? on: December 29, 2017, 11:18:32 PM
Hi Guys
From one week ago, i saw the marketcap is decrease..So i would like to know your opinion that you are still trading or investing crypto currency in this time (Christmas time, new year time)...or you will withdraw cryto currency to usd and come back in Jan 2018.

Thanks so much

the decline of these days is physiological and I do not think it is due to the holidays.
so if you have patience wait and see that the btc will come back to climb to a new high-all time record

Napoli closes a great 2017 with a victory and 99 points made in 39 games then over 2.5 points per game! Napoli with these incredible numbers deserves to win the Serie A this year.

392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 29, 2017, 12:51:11 PM
that rockets match is fucking rigged man, seriously wtf ? and that ref though, bs af!
Things like that happen quite often in the NBA. Refs are just awful and it has been that way forever now. I kinda believe NBA is just for entertainment just like WWE. I am not 100% certain on it but its hard to disprove that it isnt.
Refs have some errors on call ofcourse buy they didn't to do that just to favor one team to another. I watch the game and the call was very close and prone to error. The refs are just giving a decision that is right from them. I think people are complaining just because their favorite is on the losing side that against the call of refs. Just have fan watching. GoSpursGo fan here so I'm on neutral side.  Tongue

harakiri for Houston! Houston was in the lead for the whole match with a maximum advantage of almost 30 points! this defeat is really a bad blow, which could have negative repercussions in other delicate games like the playoffs!
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 29, 2017, 12:09:06 AM
Lazio vs Ac Milan is officially the first semi-final in the Italian Cup.
2 quarters of the final must be played: Napoli vs Atalanta (2 January) and Juventus vsTorino (3 January).
The semi-final Napoli vs Juventus would be really interesting because the winner of that match would receive a strong impulse to win the Serie A too!
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: December 28, 2017, 11:56:11 PM
I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.

if the price goes down you should hold to avoid losses at least until the price returns when you buy because if you sell it it will be a loss

This rule is applicable only if you're having good coins because some shit coins may not come back to those high prices in future. It all depends on what kind of coins we are holding. If you talking about all the top coins then it is better to hold and if possible buy more if prices go down a lot because you will surely get a chance to sell at higher prices.

yes, it is better to hold the most reliable altcoins, those that have the highest marketcap level, and with the best development projects as they are more likely to increase their value and make a good profit. new altcoins or less reliable altcoins are very risky and there is a risk of losing everything.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Happy New Year $22000? on: December 28, 2017, 11:45:51 PM
Hello! I think for the new year Bitcoin $22000; ETH $780.
What are the forecasts?
I think bitcoin will be selling at $16,000 by end of this year and ethereum will be selling at $750.
I think that is very likely to happen, but it will be in January 2018. At present investors are selling bitcoin quite a lot to welcome the new year so it takes time for investors to come back in. next month. Early in 2018 will be a very strong growth period for the entire crypto and bitcoin market. 2018 will be a year of opportunities for investors in the crypto market.

In 2018 both results will be achieved easily. I am convinced that 2018 the value of the btc can go up a lot and I will not be surprised if 40-50k will be reached. It can also be a good idea to hold the various coins obtained through the forks.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange vs Brokers on: December 28, 2017, 11:33:50 PM
Hi All, not sure if i read this info on this site before , but tried looking at the search and couldnt find exactly what i was looking for so posting it in the forum, if it has been answered already my apologies...

But what i read before was dont go with a broker , better to go with an exchange as the broker charges you lots of money, but while researching today i heard the opposite some blogs tell me go with brokers as exchanges cost more due to the " spread"

so now i have diverging opinions, if i have to pay for both what is the cheapest alternative? i want to buy coins and save , not really interested in trading, just buy and transfer to my offline wallet.  but not interested in high prices either...

Any help would be appreciated

I always prefer to manage my money personally and not pay other people to manage them!
so I would advise you to deepen and study the world of cryptocurrencies and after you have obtained the right skills, you can invest your money.

World cup? I'll set one up nearer the time.

---------

I'll probably be sending out PMs for the V2 pool tomorrow so keep an eye out for that so if anyone want's to join there's still time. 20 players have signed up so far.

I confirm that I am there for both competitions, even if there is a lot of time left for the world cup!

Lyon and Marseille have made a good 2017 with an average of almost 2 points per match.

Manchester City continues its incredible dominance in the Premier League!
there are, now, 15 points ahead of Manchester United. Manchester City can win the Premier League already in April or even in March!

it will be interesting the challenge for the other 3 places useful for the champions:
now there are 5 teams (United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal) in only 6 points.

@kiindje. People these days are so sensitive. Lewis was clearly playing around with his nephew. That does not mean he hates gays, lesbians or transgenders? No, he was joking around because the boy looked silly to him.

Also, remember when David Beckham posted a picture on Instagram with him kissing his baby daughter on the lips? Some people also started to make a scandal about it. It was really nothing.

unfortunately, famous people must be careful how they use social networks. I think he was just joking.
However he should be judged only for his performance on the track.
