The need for a visible record is probably getting a little more urgent, but I'm sure you're on top of it.

i won't be publishing anyone's info for all to see, but will provide a login somewhere so you can see your own account.

Right, looks like it's coming in thick and fast now payb.tc.    The need for a visible record is probably getting a little more urgent, but I'm sure you're on top of it.

Thanks again Smiley
383  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Paying 6.9% per week... small accounts welcome. on: May 29, 2012, 12:16:35 AM
Actually I am reinvesting if that's OK Smiley  (sorry, thought I'd mentioned that).

you did... derp, had you mixed up with someone else.

i've checked and everyone has been paid correctly, and all re-investors have had their balances updated correctly... i was just looking at the wrong account when i replied earlier.

Not a prob Smiley
384  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Paying 6.9% per week... small accounts welcome. on: May 28, 2012, 11:45:45 PM
Thanks payb.tc, got your PM with the updated balance, much appreciated.    Block Explorer is down so I can't check, but I have no reason to doubt it at all Smiley

blockexplorer wouldn't show an updated balance, because no bitcoin transaction was made for people who are re-investing.

your balance is simply re-calculated and kept on record at my end.

if you're getting interest payments each week (not re-investing) then blockexplorer (or blockchain.info) should show your interest payments on whatever address you've given me.

edit: sorry rolo, i see that you did get a payment and are not re-investing... you confused me with your "updated balance" speak Cheesy

Hi mate,

Actually I am reinvesting if that's OK Smiley  (sorry, thought I'd mentioned that).

With the updated balance, I just assumed you'd physically be sending the coins to that address (the address I initially sent the coins to) so it's always up to date, but yeah now I think about it I guess you're using those coins to put in Pirates program of course Cheesy  Ignore me, it's been a long few days Wink.

If you're just keeping a manual record, that's fine, just don't lose it I guess Cheesy

Thanks Wink

Well done BFL, glad to hear you're still innovating.   Sorry to see the same sad old trolls up to their own tricks (you'd think, after they were humiliated when you came through the first time around, they'd have learnt their lesson, but there's no accounting for stupidity I suppose).

As for the competitors getting scared and starting attacking BFL, I guess you're scared for a reason hey.   Here's an idea, let your product stand on its own merits without the underhanded attacks.

Ok,  BTC sent to the address you PM'd me.

Thanks Smiley
388  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Paying 6.9% per week... small accounts welcome. on: May 27, 2012, 05:39:28 AM
Sounds good, thanks Smiley

I have the unique address from your PM, thanks for that.

Just a few clarifications:

1.  It's OK to reinvest the weekly dividends?
2.  If so, how would you like that to work.   Say every Sunday (for example), you look at the balance of my wallet address and just add 6.9% to it?  Will you send out an email (or whatever) with the new balance, or would it be my responsibility to keep an eye on the address and make sure the amounts are correct (I'm sure they will be, just talking out loud really) Smiley  Maybe a google spreadsheet that everyone can access?
3.  Withdrawals, are you happy for me to withdraw at any time?

Thanks Smiley

1. yes.
2. at around monday 22:00 utc, i either pay interest or calculate your new balance. i could email if you like, or PM.   i'm more likely to do up a web page somewhere than google spreadsheet, but don't have one yet.
3. you can withdraw any time, but i reserve the right to drop any lender that withdraws 12 times per day or takes up too much of my time.

thanks.

Ok lovely, sounds good.   A website to check this stuff would be great eventually.  Always nice to have an easy way to see this stuff, but I realise these things take time to get up and running Smiley

Not a problem with the withdrawal limits, I doubt I'll be withdrawing much, if at all.

Ok, I'll be depositing shortly Smiley

One last question, are you OK for me to keep adding to the "pot" occasionally (as mining rewards come through)?  I'm not talking 0.5BTC every day or anything like that, probably more likely bulk amounts every few weeks?    It'll make interest tricky to calculate for you I guess, so we can arrange specific times if you prefer (maybe I can deposit right after a weekly payout to make it easier).
389  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Paying 6.9% per week... small accounts welcome. on: May 27, 2012, 05:33:54 AM
interest will accrue starting from the nearest half-hour after the first confirmation.

eg:
you deposit at 12:53pm
tx gets into a block at 1:07pm
interest starts accruing from 1:30pm.

you can roll the interest over or just get a payout every week.

payout time/day can be of your own choosing, but defaults to approx monday 22:00 UTC.

Sure, that's fine.   Sorry, I added to point 2 as you were typing so I'll re-ask here Wink    Will you keep a google spreadsheet or something similar with people's current balance etc?   Or is it just a case of "check block explorer every Monday to see the new balance" Smiley

391  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bitcoin Savings and Trust on: May 27, 2012, 01:25:02 AM
Right, well I'm fairly keen to deposit my stash here, but as I haven't really traded with anyone already a member it seems I can't.  As I'd only be depositing and sitting on that (rather than having it sitting in my wallet doing nothing) I'm not sure what sort of risks I'd pose or malicious activities I'd be capable of.

Is this likely to opened up a little more in the future or am I just out of luck?
392  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL "EasyMiner" Released. Reviews? on: May 13, 2012, 01:59:23 AM
Hmm, Easyminer doesn't see my boxes at all, weirdly (they're currently happily mining away)...

EDIT:  Ok, I had to quit out of Cgminer before they were picked up.  Fair enough.

bulanula, you've always been a gigantic douche, but this just puts the icing on the cake.  Dick.

Quite funny. So my reputation ( totally thrashed )

What on Earth makes you think you had a good reputation before this?  All you do is pop up in random threads, spout some random bullshit (or troll the shit out of the subject), then wander off and do the same elsewhere.   Your "reputation" is that of a weirdo.  Now we can add scammer AND dirtbag to that (and yes I do consider you a scammer for doing what you've done.  You might not have intentionally conned the guy out of the BTC, but receiving it (quite clearly from him) in error and then refusing to give it back is just as bad).

I'm done. Anyways, if there are anymore shenanigans from Jon even after I've dealt with the perp, don't waste the police's time.

Dick.   This is the most obvious "Shit, I trolled everyone with a fake suicide threat and now I'm bricking it because the cops are involved".

Serves you right you ass.   No-one with half a brain would believe your account was hacked.

Quite an improvement, I'd say - he even managed to change the name!!

The only smart thing he's done to date.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NZBMatrix accepting Bitcoins on: April 18, 2012, 03:41:25 AM
Wow.  Very cool.  I've been an NZBMatrix member for almost 5 years now, but I just might throw a few bitcoins their way for adopting the currency.  NZBMatrix + SABnzb + SickBeard = best media experience ever.

Agreed.  And Couchpotato Smiley
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NZBMatrix accepting Bitcoins on: April 17, 2012, 07:08:41 AM
Whats NZBMatrix? Some kind of file distribution network? It wont let you see anything without signing up.

Basically a Usenet indexing site.   Think a private torrent site, but with Usenet instead of Bittorrent Smiley
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / NZBMatrix accepting Bitcoins on: April 16, 2012, 11:47:38 PM
Apologies if this has already been mentioned.  I did a quick search but nothing showed up.

I've been a VIP member of NZBMatrix long before I was into Bitcoin, but was signing a friend up last night and noticed that Bitcoin is an option for payment for VIP Upgrades Smiley

I can't grab a screenshot as the option disappears once you've signed up, but if you want to check it out just create a free account, then click on the VIP Upgrade button.  It's on the Donation page as well:  www.nzbmatrix.com/subscription.php

Pretty big site in the world of NZB's (possibly the biggest since Newzbin 1 died, but I haven't really checked out Newsbin 2 so can't comment there).  It's not going to change the world with regards to Bitcoin adoption, but it's nice that the option is there regardless.  The more the merrier Smiley

I'm not much of a fan of this idea at all, however I have my doubts it'll ever get off the ground so I'm not going to worry about it just yet.
400  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [0 GH/s 0% fee SMPPS] ArsBitcoin mining pool! on: April 03, 2012, 11:14:05 PM
I'd love to see Ars keep running.   I don't use Eligius due to the long wait required to reach the payout amount (or at least that's why I stopped using it a long, long time ago, and haven't been back to check if anything changed).
Why does this matter?  Do you really need your coins immediately?  And it's actually MORE secure since it's impossible for Luke to run off with the coins.

Don't suppose it matters too much, but It'd just be a backup pool for me, so it takes forever to get to the payout amount.
