381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves created token how good is it on: August 14, 2020, 01:33:59 PM
I think tokens created on waves blockchain are cool wrt fees and speed of transaction. WAVES project has been constantly developing over time but lack required hype, maybe due to less supporters of the project compared to ETH, TRON, EOS and the likes. Recently they gave an update on DEFO, meaning decentralized forex and the concept might trend too. Price discovery also started few days ago.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? on: August 13, 2020, 10:27:15 PM
Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? Buying ethereum to keep and buying ethereum to invest in forsage, which is better?

Buying ETH to keep for long term is better than buying to invest in Forsage in my opinion. Forsage no matter how it appears to look cool is actually ponzi in the real sense, since at some point it will stop paying investors. So many ponzis/mlm are taking advantage of smart contract on Ethereum and Tron blockchain to run scam investments, so be careful what you choose to invest in.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 12, 2020, 09:15:57 PM
Right now I'm holding on to ethereum because it's getting more and more attractive, although at the moment it sucks because shipping costs go up so much. I decided to take a little longer and see if their shipping costs would drop or not.
By "shipping cost" I believe you imply transaction fee right? If yeah, then ETH network is usually clogged these days because most DEFI projects are built on Ethereum blockchain and since DEFI is the current trend, transaction fees tend to be high. Everyone hopes the ETH 2.0 upcoming upgrade will rectify this.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 12, 2020, 02:05:41 PM
It's good to see mainstream adoption of crypto slowly growing, if a beach 🏖 can accept ETH for payments, then its a good step ahead. So many crypto projects like TRAVALA are trying in this regard, travelers paying for hotel resorts with crypto is made possible. Some other sectors are also fostering adoption but at a very slow rate. A lot need to be done before mainstream acceptance will skyrocket.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do we really need stable coin? on: August 11, 2020, 10:19:50 PM
I personally don't see the reason why every cryptocurrency should be stable. Its awesome to have the volatility of cryptocurrency as we see in the present market. The major reason why people benefit from trading in this space is because of volatility. There are several stablecoin project emerging daily and USDT is no longer the only stable coin in the space we have several others like the BUSD, USDC, DAI etc. The stable coin market can run simultaneously with the volatility market.

Your last statement is valid, we need stable coins since the crypto market is highly volatile especially to lock in profit. Also, some people hold stable coins to buy their favorite coins at dip as a trading strategy. Stable coins are very important in this space, hence anyone against stable coins doesn't really comprehend the necessity.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 11, 2020, 05:35:51 PM
AS for many days, the crypto market is now in good conduction as compare from the last three to four months. But now a new thing in coming to altcoin, that the prices of all altcoins are fluctuating very badly and not able to stable in a single position for at least an hour. So, what should we do in this dramatic conduction of altcoin?

The most unique property of crypto market is volatility, and if the market is not very volatile, trading will be boring. As for me, price fluctuations are cool. I'm a price action trader and take advantage of these movements after thorough technical analysis. Not only altcoins, BTC is not left out when it comes to volatility, reason why it can gain or lose 1k$+ just in 24 hours.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Compare Withdrawal Fees before you trade on a Exchange on: August 10, 2020, 10:18:48 PM
It's very necessary to know withdrawal fees of any exchange even before you make deposit and trade, thanks for pointing out OP. Some exchanges have ridiculous withdrawal fees. Also, if you wish to hold a coin long term in your personal wallet, please do check the withdrawal fee of the exchange before you buy it. Some coins like TRX, DOGE, NEO have negligible withdrawal fees in some exchanges, reason why they are good for inter exchange withdrawal (example from Binance to Kucoin).
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most of The DEFI coins are 50% up in last 7days!! on: August 10, 2020, 06:25:06 PM
DEFI projects are really doing great presently with the overall DEFI mcap skyrocketing mainly due to staking / yield farming benefits. Some have already started to say DEFI bubble will soon burst, implying everyone should understand DEFI is a trend which will come and go. However, DEFI is taking the crypto space to the next level in the real sense.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: August 08, 2020, 08:34:53 PM
No, hacken AI has a good team, a very active one, they are still working towards developing the project, so hacken AI is currently on track and not a failed project.

Well that an IEO failed doesn't mean the end of a project, there are some project that people have tagged failed that has finally sucedded in paying people in thousands of dollars, I think the crypto world or the sucess of a project shouldn't be tagged to IEO. Just take a little time and go through and study the project first, Hacken has proven to be a good project at last

Hacken is doing well, I traded it recently on OCEANX and made cool profit. The team is actually trying their best. Moreover, the IEO didn't fail, people should stop spreading false rumor. Also, some token sales do not go perfectly well sometimes, but with a solid team, if they keep fostering in project development and marketing with part of the funds received, eventually people key in and project starts moving nicely.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay whales and market manipulators, I need you to crash the coin markets now. on: August 08, 2020, 07:10:47 PM
So, whales and behind the scenes people who are controlling the price of coins, I need a big crash in coin prices now so I can buy in as cheaply as possible.  I don't care how you do it or what reasons you give for it.

Sounds funny and baseless at the same time, also coming from someone who has no idea on how the market works. You've never heard of technical analysis? Why don't you analyze the market and decide when to exit and when to enter, rather than calling on whales to crash the market after you've exited, which looks more like a "cry for 😣 help" comedy. You made me laugh anyway lol.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: August 07, 2020, 09:49:52 PM
To implement the project, you need to raise funds. Now the amount of funds is reduced due to the fact that economies are in a frozen state, nothing is happening, companies are losing.
Having entered the market now, there are risks to spend the invested money on nothing, because the chances of achieving sufficient resonance are not great.
Of course, it all depends on your initial capital, if you have no problems with money, the above risks are greatly reduced.

I don't think a superb project will have issues raising funds presently, since more people are focused on crypto investment and online jobs per say. However, developing a physical product right now won't be easy, but for online products like DAPPs, exchange etc there is no issue with that. Also, now is the best time for projects which aim to revamp the health sector to launch. So it all depends on the project aim and team capabilities.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: August 07, 2020, 02:05:52 PM
Actually I do not have favorite altcoins because I don't want to be attached to it, there is consequences if ever you attached to a certain altcoin because it can affect your performance and your execution in trading. I focus on my trading psychology where I carefully understand my thoughts and emotions before, during and after the trade.

When I trade a altcoin, I first identify its trend and what kind of strategies that I will use. I usually do momentum trading especially if the daily charts are in uptrend but if the daily chart is in sideways; I usually do swing trading.

I trade altcoins a lot too, but I hold a few long term, which I keep in my personal wallet. Any altcoin I leave on the exchange is for trading purpose, unlike you, my favorite altcoin is ETH. You mentioned momentum trading and swing trading which drew my attention, I mostly do swing trading for coins within a range either using indicators like Bollinger bands, RSI and also checking support/resistance or when there is FA. I trade trends mostly on midterm basis.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 06, 2020, 08:33:18 PM
yes, projects take a long time to become big, but not all projects can be like that. Good projects will be transparent and always provide the latest updates about the project in each development. different from the current project which only says "SOON" "STAY TUNED"

Straight to the point 👌 some coins are worth holding with patience but not all coins should be held long term. Any project giving empty promises with no development progress doesn't worth holding their coin at all. This is the more reason why I can only go long term on a project only when I see reasonable developments.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase explorations on: August 06, 2020, 02:57:08 PM
Any coin proposed for coinbase listing eventually starts appreciating in price. See what BNT (Bancor) is doing presently, also OGN had a 100% run after being proposed for listing. The good point about some suggested coins for listing is that, Coinbase must have done proper analysis and background check on the project, before proposing them for listing for further analysis. This makes crypto enthusiasts FOMO on these coins, hence causing price spike.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: August 05, 2020, 09:04:14 PM
Actually this pandemic helps me to become better trader, I do not know if I can achieve this kind of level if the pandemic did not come. I have more time on analyzing charts of many cryptocurrencies. Before I only usually check chart 2-3 times a day because I have daily work but now I can do it all the time and it helps me to become familiar to the concept, ideas and the patters in the chart.

Nice, I also gave trading more time due to lockdown/covid19. Good enough, the crypto market keeps surging and my long term BTC, ETH, LINK bags are doing great. I lost my offline job during this pandemic period because the company I work for had to drop some employees due to low output and sales. I'm just thankful that crypto market is doing great even now that most  traditional sectors are being hit negatively due to covid19.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Foundation ETH2, The Biggest Update For Etherum | From PoW To PoS on: August 05, 2020, 07:03:09 PM
I was so excited when I saw the update for ETH 2.0 public Medalla Testnet genesis launch. Some dope teams from Lighthouse, Prism, Teku, Nimbus, and Lodestar behind it. Also Quantstamp is not left out to ensure no loopholes with respect to security lags. I hope the actual PHASE 2 launch of ETH 2.0 worth the wait, everyone waiting to stake ETH.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DeFi help ethereum reach it's old 4 figure value? on: August 04, 2020, 09:42:49 PM
So many factors contributing to growth in ETH price, not only DEFI. Many people hope that ETH 2.0 will bring forth the long awaited revamped scalability solution, this is also an influencing factor. Also, like OP mentioned, many projects using ETH blockchain to launch DEFI platforms/tokens keep increasing rapidly, and some dope projects with solid team are in this category. I think ETH attaining 4 figures is possible, but who knows when.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 04, 2020, 02:31:03 PM
I do not follow any kind of rating or surveys or even expert opinions now because after so many years i have learnt that market decides when to move, market decides when bull trend starts and it is the market only that decides when the down trend will start so no real value in all these ratings or stuff.

I remember wayback when ICOBENCH was like the benchmark for rating crypto ICO projects and many crypto investors totally believed anything on that platform. Little did investors know that, those ratings are mostly paid ratings, but crypto enthusiasts got wiser along the line. Crypto rating platforms are not entirely bad per say, atleast you have a clue about certain aspects of the project, but anyone who relies on the ratings as yardstick for deciding which projects to invest in is not a wise investor.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: August 03, 2020, 10:00:27 PM
Not necessarily altcoins but half baked projects and redundant projects with no value to offer. The crypto industry and market has been littered with these kinds of projects bringing about a loss of interest in most altcoins and attention shifted to the other bigger and more stable cryptocurrencies. It is quite understandable that people will lose interest in some crypto projects.

Very nice point mate, too many baseless altcoin projects already yet we still face scalability issues and other drawbacks hindering blockchain/crypto mass adoption. Imagine some new projects copying Whitepaper, what then can such a project offer? Such projects over time will be extinct since they add no value. Some good altcoin projects like LINK have been really cool with development, hence can't be boycotted.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - Which coins have the best fundamentals and still have huge potential? on: August 03, 2020, 05:04:09 PM
So which DeFi coins should I check that has the good fundamentals and a lot of growth potential + is currently undervalued in your opinion?

I think you should check out BZRX (BZX Protocol), do research on it if it matches what you lookout for in a supposed good DEFI project. I use defimarketcap and defipulse to check ranking, but started using the DEFI section on Coinmarketcap last week. I'll strongly recommend you stick to ETH if you are more concerned about safety, since ETH is like the backbone for the aforementioned token and many more ERC20 DEFI tokens like PAY which newly joined the train.
