381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short now = make lots of money? on: March 21, 2019, 09:25:56 AM
I think you should buy coins for exchanges. now many IEO projects are being implemented and the coins of exchanges are being welcomed by many investors. Big exchanges like BNB, Huobi, Okex, Bibox, are being bought and hold by investors. surely its price will increase from 20-25%.
This is the great revival most of us have been waiting for and for now, it is really working and building lots of confidence of investors back with the projects being funded through exchanges IEO.

Most of these coins  started showing signs of increase the moment they are launched and bought but I don’t think we have so many projects being listed because I can only count four that Binance being the biggest exchange has already carried out successfully, though I have not checked other exchanges you have mention, Binance is the major exchanges I have been using from onset for my exchanges and holdings.

It is better to commit funds in these exchanges IEO than short selling.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: March 20, 2019, 07:00:29 PM
1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.
Share your thoughts.
I would simply get out of all the shits and start to be a day trader which I already have been doing for last couple of months for recovering my loss in my investment. I have invested in some altcoin in mid 2018 thinking that this is the support zone but fuck off, my investment decreases to 60% and later, I had no choice but to be a day trader to recover the loss. I have already recovered some of the losses.
That is if he knows how to trade and not end up loosing the one left completely given him 100% lost and for the fact that the value of those coins are down now doesn’t make them shitcoins, just like Bitcoin drastically dropped from $20000 to $4k it is now, does that make it a shitcoins. No, for the fact that they are still in exchanges and still have value does not make them shit because any shit coin would have definitely zero by now. So it is best to use new money to start trading if he wants or invest in the second project he talked about.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can some fraudulent people be discouraged from using cryptocurrency ? on: March 19, 2019, 09:23:08 PM
For now I don't think there is anyway that fraudulent people will be discourage from using cryptocurrency, the government and other security agencies have not been able to stop all the criminals making use of fiat money to carry out fraudulent activities, how can they stop someone who is making use of a platform that is totally anonymous and transactions can't be traced to anyone.

The last I checked, the crypto market is a free market making it open for everyone including fraudulent people. We just have to be very careful while making transactions.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is Cheap Until April, We’ll Never See Price at $3,000 Again: Trader on: March 19, 2019, 10:31:18 AM
Nothing is guaranteed... Everything is just a prediction.

It is for sure that bitcoin will rise again and will create a new ATH, but the question is when and how.
So far I don't see any concrete news or powerful activities from large entities which may lead bitcoin to its new ATH.

However, the bitcoin range from $3000-$4000 is best for accumulating as much as possible before the rocket launch to the moon imo.
That is what the person  you replied to is just trying to say, that BTC increase in value is in our hands, what is the bull run we are talking about, it is not a bug or a system that will be released into market, the bull run is as a result of our activities on that coin, though major part of it might come from someone with the purpose of making it happen for its benefit, but it can also happen without the input of whales through our supports for the system.

Let’s say we need 300 million dollars to be pumped into the market for BTC price to reach $150k, predicted by a whale that has that money at once might decide to do so at his own risk but if we have about 1 million people adopting the use of bitcoin this year with deposit of 300 dollars each, have we not pushed the market to bull run ourselves with our adoption?
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Sink to $1,850 Despite Bullish Crypto Momentum on: March 19, 2019, 08:12:44 AM
Bitcoins is not sinking anytime soon and all these numbers are just a ploy to make you sell your bitcoins. If you may have observed everytime bitcoins starts to rise post a bear phase these so called analysts come up with similar numbers, the fact is they’re jealous and upset they sold it early. Also it’s pertinent to note that bitcoins has a strong resistance around 3300$ levels so there’s no way it’ll sink.
We know those people mate and we have gone past the stage of panic selling now, how will someone go through that stress of analyzing the downfall of bitcoin prices if he is not part of whales, right now, we are all ready to play along with the whales, we cannot be shaken again like it took us by surprise in 2017/18.

Bitcoin has even proving itself strong when it went against their prediction of getting back to $3k last week which reverse was the case, bitcoin ended up seeing the light of the day and crossing over the $4k boundary, same thing bitcoin will keep doing now till it gets to $9k before the end of the year.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] - BITCOIN CRAZY MOVE COMING ? 2019 on: March 19, 2019, 07:07:38 AM
Your video is giving me lots of positiveness to continue holding my bitcoin stash regardless of some FUD spreaders are talking about the possibilities of $1850 in coming days. I am very much confident that bitcoin had already bottomed and now getting ready for another crazy rally like how it has done in 2017.

I like the faith of this crypto community this year because I can see that a lot of persons are also having a positive mindset about the price of bitcoin and crypto in general just as I do, I can't wait to begin to see a bull run in the price of my bitcoin and other crypto I already have in possession this year and I think I can boldly say when lambo because we are going to be rich soon.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan Approves Self-Regulation for Cryptocurrency Industry on: March 18, 2019, 06:06:52 PM
Japan ahead of the rest. This is a very good example of how to develop new technologies. It is a pity that most countries do not understand this.
Japan is always on top of its game. When other countries couldn’t get the definition of Bitcoin, they grabbed it as a currency, and while others are still there struggling to adopt, they have come up with a self-regulation policy that the potential to curb criminal activities. Well, they are leading by example and I hope other countries would do same so that they won’t be left behind in the end.

hopefully it can help the market to recover. In all, everyone knows Japan is a pretty big country.
This will not directly impact on bitcoin market's recovery but it will help more crypto related business to grow and evolve which will support bitcoin to recover. It means we must give time for this news to impact on bitcoin markets.

Quote
Japan with bitcoin is quite good at receiving it.
I also read that Japan economy and per capita are all improving due to bitcoin adoption but not sure about the reliability of those news still Japan is not changing their stand on legalization of bitcoins since their initiative hence we must need to understand that bitcoin adoption is contributing them in positive way.

390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: March 07, 2019, 09:06:43 PM
I don't think there is a drop in Bitcoin campaign or rather signature campaign, just that we now have so many users on the platform and they create topic every second so you won't be able to find them, you can also go to the bounty section and participate in bounties that you think would be of benefit to you and I forgot one more thing, welcome back the Bitcoin talk the number 1 Bitcoin community in the world.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 07, 2019, 08:07:57 PM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.
I don't think the backward thread was caused by the hard fork which recently happened but it just the market itself that affected the price of ethereum, if you study the market well, you will find out that it wasn't just ethereum that experienced the rise and fall, almost all the top 10 coins in the market also experienced same. The fork can't have much effect on price because it didn't create another coin.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading pairs — how it works on: March 07, 2019, 07:20:55 PM
This is a good information for those who just came crypto and want to focus on trading, we have a lot of newbies joining our community daily and need to learn about all this things before getting themselves involved, one of them actually called me day before yesterday asking me a lot of question about crypto in a one hour booking section, he later settled at going fully on trading and I have already sent him some materials including this topic so he can study more on trading, thanks.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if ethereum had a maximum coin supply set from the beginning? on: March 07, 2019, 06:56:40 PM
It would be very good if eth has a maximum supply.

According to satoshi, the maximum supply in btc was created in order to control inflation, following the law of economics, when there is so much money being put in circulation, it devalues the money, this means that as the day goes by, instead of we having an increase in ethereum, we might end up having a decrease in price unless a remedy is implemented to control inflation.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Businesses Need Stability & Reliability on: March 07, 2019, 06:24:11 PM
Yeah, thanks for the article, you are very much correct that real business needs stability and reliability, this is so true.

The stability part is what most businesses fail to have in their business, you see a business from for just a few months and are already tired of running and thinking of selling the company to someone else. Consistency is the best way to grow a business no matter how small the business is.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NeonDistrict - early access ! Founder's Key on: March 07, 2019, 05:45:45 PM
Please this is the first time I am hearing about neondistrict since my 5 years of experience in blockchain, can you tell us more about this project and what it has to offer to the member of the community. Though I am seeing you talking about playing game. Is the platform like that of gamescredit where we can use the tokens to play games online or is there something unique about the platform that I might need to know.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mail Service To Send 1 Million Mails Monthly @ just $100 Monthly | Will You use? on: March 07, 2019, 03:42:01 PM
I am running a startup and I normally use mailchimp to get their email so that I can send them bulk email whenever I want to pass an information and I can see that it's working very fine for me and it is giving a lot of conversion.

Though I have a limit to the amount of persons you can send message at a time, so it would be good if you and your team can complete this project where one can send message to up to one million persons and also make payment via Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: team vs. sovereign token what do you trust more in? on: March 07, 2019, 09:45:38 AM
It all depends on the idea behind the token, I won't be comfortable to invest in a token created by a team that can't tell us a good idea to which the token is being created.

Though I would be more comfortable to invest in projects done by a team because I believe that no mind is an island and one person would not be able to develop a project and also be able to promote that project all by himself or herself without having to get a team that will make it faster for the project to go far and to gain more traction than when it is still being controlled by just a single person.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would the future of microtransactions look like? on: March 07, 2019, 09:05:53 AM
We are already seeing a good use of micro transactions in the world today and I believe we are going to see even much more companies using micro transaction as a more faster way to collect payment for goods and services without having to wait for a very long time to get confirmation on the blockchain or wasting a lot of transaction fee just to make purchase of pizza.

One of the company that has implemented the idea already to it's system is dominos pizza that now accept Bitcoin as mode of payment through the lightning network.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: COME HERE>> hear me out.... don't miss this on: March 07, 2019, 08:44:24 AM
Just seeing the topic, even though I do not normally believe in cryptocurrency price prediction , I am surprised that your prediction about bitcoin hitting $4k+ by January ending did happened , although it did hit above +4k .
Nice one.
He might not necessarily have predicted right but his predictions were not far from truth for the fact that bitcoin crossed a bit over 4000 around February before resisting the 4k and back to 3k +, it will eventually test that 4k + back soon before heading for the BULL RUN.

Crypto currency price prediction works a lot especially when it is don through analysis. Some events might have occurred along the line after his prediction that made the target not achievable but at least got close.
400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading velocity constantly rising since December. on: March 06, 2019, 07:37:52 PM
Yes I have noticed this since the beginning of the year and that's is why I concluded that there would be a bull run in the price of bitcoin in no time, I know the price hasn't been increasing lately but I am sure that within the next 2 months there would be a significant increase in price that might go to as high as $5500, then we should begin to see a break in price after then that might drive the price of bitcoin to $10,000.
