381  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: August 29, 2017, 05:04:58 AM
Hi traders!
Does somebody here do trading in stock market and also trading in bitcoin? Which is more profitable and safe?
Thanks ahead!
The stock market is better than the bitcoin market. The stock market is more regulated and monitored than the bitcoin market, which assures you some level of security incase any thing goes wrong, but in bitcoin there’s nothing like that.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some transactions at block 480819 look like CoinJoin-type mixing on: August 28, 2017, 10:47:23 AM
Its no big deal there are lots of currencies like that it looks new to you maybe because you’re seeing it for the first time, but there are lots of blocks like that and if that amazed you, I think a google search would amaze you more
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much money is needed to bank roll a bitcoin casino? on: August 28, 2017, 09:56:24 AM
I have estimates on the costs to have the site developed but my question is rather what would be the minimum or a safe amount to have for the "houses" bankroll ? keep in mind a new casino i would be surprised is going to be busy as hell right off the bat or even succeed at all with all the competition im just curious on some expert opinions. Thanks
You don’t actually need much cash if you have a good manager, though its capital intensive it would surely pull in more funds for you at the end of the day and you would be glad you did, though you should careful of legal claims

FAQ:

4. Do you accept PayPal,Credit Cards or Bank Transfer?
Unfortunately we cannot accept at the moment those payment methods due to the frequently occurring fraud practices.
5. Can I pay cash in your office?
Due to security policies and our confidentiality policy we cannot accept this method of payment.
6. Can I pay for the order in several payments?
Yes, but your order will be confirmed only after you’ve paid in full.
Payment must be made in full in order to confirm and reserve your order
7. Can I visit your office, data center or manufacturing facilities?
Earlier visits were possible by preliminary coordination for some of our wholesale customers.
However after several cases of industrial espionage we decided to prohibit personal visits.

That seems to be a scam the company is trying to avoid any form of physical contact but wants people to invest their cash with them doesn’t work that way, people prefer to do face to face deals than to be dealing with one faceless company

386  Economy / Goods / Re: Would There Be Any Interest in Luxury Watches ? on: August 28, 2017, 07:49:57 AM
Creating this Thread to see if there would be any interest from bitcointalk community in purchasing luxury watches with BTC as i am able to get below retail prices on brand new watches plus the convenience of the buyer paying fully in bitcoin.

Brands i can offer:

Hublot
Tag Heuer
IWC
Cartier
Patek Philippe
Audemars Piguet
Breitling
Jaeger LeCoultre
Omega
Ulysse Nardin
Chopard
Zenith

If there is enough interest I will proceed to open up a shop/service.

Wow! You’re in big stock man, I would have loved to purchase but right now I’m not yet financially capable, maybe in a few months time I would be able to own many of that. I actually love Philip Patek just that its on the high side
387  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS][EUROPE] Mining Hardware on: August 28, 2017, 07:17:48 AM
Hi,

selling brand new sealed

6x MSI Z107a Carbon Gaming Pro Mainboard,
6x Be Quite 1200w Dark Pro 11 Netzteil,
6x Intel Celeron G3900 1151LGA
80x PCIE-Riser v0.7

Wow! Though I’ve never loved mining due to the costs and the stress I respect miners because they go through a lot just to achieve their dreams. Your setup  isn’t bad for mining though, just be ready  to start paying triple electricity and broadband bills
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What services you wanna see with Bitcoin ? on: August 28, 2017, 06:18:24 AM
Movies ? gambling sites ? exchanges ? what kind of service you want to see involved with Bitcoin more ?
I just wish that popular online shopping sites will start accepting Bitcoin, so I’m not interested in movies and gambling. And what do you mean by exchanges? Well, whatever, but I’m sure localbitcoin is quite an exchanger.
389  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain phone wallet on: August 26, 2017, 08:55:08 AM
Hello, a couple of my friends downloaded this wallet on to their I-phones some time ago.  I sent them some BTC, now they cannot access their wallets.  They  say they only created a pin and not a passcode and now it is asking for a passcode.. Anyone use this phone wallet much?  Any ideas?
I use the wallet on my phone, it’s a very cool stuff though just that its interface is not as great as that of the Web wallet. I think it was developed just for you to check your wallet balance and make transactions. Though it requires you to setup a PIN that you’d use to access the phone wallet, just a 4 digit code.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 26, 2017, 08:19:18 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
There isn’t any best way for steady income you should only find a method that works well for you, you shouldn’t only depend on one source of income, you should diversify your portfolio and with that I am sure you won’t regret your decision
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors That Make One Cryptocurrency Worth More Than Another on: August 26, 2017, 07:45:10 AM
From an economic standpoint, which factors make one cryptocurrency worth more than another?

1) current number of coins
2) maximum number of coins
3) rate of growth in the supply of coins
4) how many people/businesses accept it as a form of payment
5) total number of users
6) technical aspects of the protocol
7) number of exchanges that allow conversion to other cryptos or fiat currencies

Discuss.
The demand for one currency over the other makes the currency more valued than the other, also the scarcity of the currency brings the price up and also the amount of people who are marketing the currency and making more people buy into it matters too
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice please on what to do with my coin on: August 26, 2017, 07:12:32 AM
You can sell your coins or you can invest it in various investment projects, you can also keep it for the future or you can use it to shop online its up to you
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 25, 2017, 12:49:12 PM
what do you think about this topic?

That’s a big fat lie, it isn’t an instant way to get rich, but it sure would make you money but won’t make you very rich in a short time, except the price doubles in a few months or weeks
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 25, 2017, 12:19:33 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
Actually I do both, I save bitcoin just to cash in when the price boom and I also keep it as a form of investment that would always bring cash in for me when am probably out of job.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 25, 2017, 11:45:23 AM
I currently use bitcoin to purchase services online and I exchange it for fiat money a lot of times, since the coin can be used for anything, provided its accepted. I use bitcoin to pay my friends and family too.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: August 25, 2017, 10:28:22 AM
You shouldn’t just invest that huge amount of money in bitcoin only. You should read up articles on how to diversify investments and infact that could change your life for better.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 25, 2017, 09:21:44 AM
Bitcoin is not a very secure investment like others, you could lose up to half of your holding value just overnight and you could also gain double of your holdings overnight. The market is very volatile
398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i start to invest my bitcoin(newbie) on: August 24, 2017, 10:01:53 AM
I would advice you read a lot of posts before actually taking the leap of investing your coins. There are a lot of scam sites out there that are only there to make money off you so be careful and avoid rippers as much as possible.
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: August 24, 2017, 08:33:39 AM
That question is actually funny. It depends on what you have in mind and your future plan. If you feel you can achieve everything in life without a college degree, fine. If you feel you can’t, fine too. But remember the world we are favours does with the degree
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: August 24, 2017, 07:15:37 AM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !
Indeed. Those reasons are really the main reasons I can see and think of why people should choose bitcoin. Actually there are lots of reasons to like and choose bitcoin. Those are depending on the users preference if he will like it or not. For me, the reason that I can give for you to choose bitcoin is that its price is continuously changing enabling us to buy or sell bitcoins for our own good. The simple saving and holding of yours can enable you to gain instantly from your initial earning. Which is beneficial on your part.
Anyone asking themselve why they should use Bitcoin, is basically saying “why should I get rich?”. For the quick transactions you mentioned, I don’t think the transaction is quick anymore, considering what I’m seeing as of recently, though it’s faster that most other means of transactions.
