I feel bad for kuku. I think this is the 2nd time that his stack didn't qualify. Despite their good efforts on the playoffs and their journey at the upper bracket, they still fallen shortly when they've been beaten yesterday and this few moments ago.
That's how the cookie crumbles for certain teams, they'd put up one of the best performances at the start and regress halfway through. I almost thought they'd be the second team to qualify because they were so clean against Talon and got a map win against Blacklist Rivalry.

I'm testing this counter bet against FURIA, and see if I can capitalize on their struggles since they suddenly got crushed against one of the weakest teams and KOI isn't that bad after forcing an OT against ENCE.

382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 18, 2024, 04:14:17 AM
I can also relate to those kinds of mistakes as i've experienced them several times with sports betting. It would start with a common loss like dropping a few units, and the idea of wanting to chase pops up then that's where things go downhill because I would overlook the most likely thing that could happen and that's losing most of my bets until my bankroll drops to zero.

I had another moment where emotions carried me away and it got so bad that I went on one of the longest losing streaks I can recall. The bad part was that I took things lightly because I was still new to sports betting and became too passionate about it.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 18, 2024, 02:26:58 AM
I would do it if there's a convenient way to track your bets because you could avoid mistakes that casual bettors frequently fall for. I remember using a website that allows you to track your units and use the odds from popular sportsbooks like Bet365, FanDuel, and DraftKings. I'd assume it wouldn't take long, and IMO it's a good way to start things out, knowing the markets, different types of bets, and more until you get the gist of sports betting overall.

Anyway, Im glad Nigma ended up winning the Elite League qualifiers. Next stop fixture would be DreamLeague season 22 qualifiers and then The Elite League. I could swear that all these new tournaments name kinda give me the headache, whats up with calling the tournament The Elite League though lol
With the way PSG.Quest performed at the online tournament, we might see Nigma Galaxy potentially qualifying at another tournament. I honestly think the tournament name is fine, maybe they wanted it to be similar to a popular league in sports like the Premier League.

Imperial esports were so close to bring a first major win for sportsbet but so far so good as this team is very talented and can grow a lot. Meanwhile , the other brazilian team had a rough day today with Furia losing against Lynn Vision...a team who had x7 odds to win before the game started  Shocked
I saw that match earlier while watching the GamerLegion match, it's unbelievable to see Furia on the brink of elimination after the first day of the PGL Major.

@Saint-loup  Nice bounce back on the tennis question to tie up the score and finish the round with a draw. I was too confident for the top seeds to make it all the way, and only two players delivered.  Tongue

Also, it's great to see more basketball leagues (Euroleague & NCAA) added to the set of questions for this week. I don't follow these leagues like the NBA, but I always appreciate more basketball action.

Well, that's a fine bet but Nigma won that match and I think that they're on the lower bracket now and likely to win the match. But at the finals of it against Nigma, that's where it's hard to put some bet or you'd just put it with Nigma. I just imagined looking at the upcoming tournaments, there are a lot of them and they're going to be continuous and this is I guess until we're close to the International, this is giving every team an opportunity to rise and participate to every tournament that's allowing them to join through qualifiers.
Thanks, I only went for it because I thought the odds were skewed for the side of Nigma Galaxy.

Aside from the ongoing qualifiers, there's a minor online tournament scheduled later today, and I saw a few good teams participating like Team Liquid, Team Spirit, and PSG.Quest. I'll observe for now because we could expect to see the stronger teams go for experimental drafts.

I've watched some games in the SEA Elite League qualifiers. What I think is unfortunate was with the IHC Esports, the very first game that they've played against Salvation gaming is all of them got disconnected and I think that's due to power supply issue in their area.
That reminds me of their loss during the BetBoom qualifiers, they faced the same issue and had to forfeit the second game which led to a 0-2 loss. Also, the organizers are generous with the slot distribution as they gave two slots to the SEA region while the other competitive regions like EEU and SA only have one.

@ralle14, first day on MENA has ended and as expected, Winter Bears moves to the next upper bracket and the same goes for Nigma Galaxy.
Yeah, the rest of the teams are a level below these two. I'll give the map handicap (+1.5) on Winter Bears a shot since they mostly have the same players and only changed two members.

So did you make another deposit during the week? I didnt though so this could probably be the reason why you got extra free bet? Im not sure if this still run or valid but if this promotion still run then its really EV+ to make a deposit just for the free bet
That's strange, if last month's promo was fine then you should be included in this month's promo as well. Maybe try this link as that's what I have on my promo page. If it doesn't work maybe live support is your best shot at fixing the visibility issue.

https://sportsbet.io/promotions/2024-03-zedrun-cybersphere

And yes, I did top up my account before Friday only to be eligible for the second free bet. It's too good of a promo to skip out on, last week I received a $20 while depositing less.  Cheesy

390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 14, 2024, 11:58:03 PM
I'm not a fan of the Bucks spread, but I think it's a decent line for them to cover after being blown out by the Kings on the road in their previous match. Then again we could say the same for the Sixers after their match against the Knicks and we shouldn't underestimate them as much. They've recently won against decent teams like the Cavs, Mavs, and Knicks so they can show up on certain days even without their best player in the lineup.

391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 14, 2024, 04:31:44 PM
I started from $207. All in on penalties awarded.
Scary indeed, i've made similar big bets back then, and I can relate to how scary it gets because you don't know when the wheels will fall off. BOL on your next two bets.  Wink

Oh wait we had one last week? I didnt know this.

Actually I read that in sportsbet's thread that this Zed Run promotions runs every friday and I thought that this cant be real if Sportsbet giving away this no risk free bets every fryday. Im not sure if this actually showed on my tab last friday
Yup, we had another Zed Run promo, and at first, I thought it was the same one until I saw the opt-in promo still green instead of grayed out.

I'm locking this daily special for today, I still don't have the highest confidence on West Ham to get two here due to the number of draws they've got. On a positive note, they've produced the same number of chances in the first leg it's just unfortunate they couldn't convert any of it.

I also have that one sport (rugby, cricket, darts, esports) where it becomes the flavor of the week/month and I would continue betting on it due to sheer luck that keeps going even though I don't research as much about the players and their opponents.

I keep betting on Mobile Legends matches, but I never played it. I understand the game a little because I used to play DOTA II and there are a lot of similarities, but I really don't understand the specific rules, skills, characters, strategies, and so on.
For me, it's League of Legends instead of Mobile Legends.  Grin I would only try to understand the mechanics through the commentators and quickly learn their points because it resembles another game I used to play.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 14, 2024, 12:14:40 AM
When I saw the title I thought it'd be about sportsbooks since it's another term for vig.

Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?
I'd say it's worth it based on how much you're getting out of the activity because not everyone gambles seriously and only aims for the profits. Others also gamble casually because it's still a good source of entertainment. They barely focus on the profits knowing you'd have to sacrifice more of your time to have a better record and even then it's still not guaranteed.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 13, 2024, 11:28:07 PM
That win from the Knicks yesterday was sweat-free, we need to have more of those dominant wins.  Tongue

It's nice to know that we are mostly on the same page with the Nuggets spread after they managed to hold off the Raptors in their last game. The Miami Heat has been underperforming recently and threw a free win away against the Wizards. With the line this close, i'd back the much better team since they nearly have the same wins and losses against the Heat at home.

395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 13, 2024, 04:46:25 PM
Well that was a shame because both matches were thrillers and especially at great value too!
Barcelona were 1.77x before the match and dispatched Napoli easily with a 3-1 win scoring 2 goals in the first half.
Arsenal were 1.36x to qualify because they were down one goal on aggregate against Porto, who infact took them out from advancing season prior. So the gunners make it to the quarter-finals of the Champions league.
Nice wins, I was hesitant to include Barcelona in my bet thinking it'd be close and surprisingly the Arsenal match is the one that ended up being close as Porto didn't look like an underdog with 12.00 decimal odds.  Tongue

We got Dortmund and PSV as the chosen match for the daily specials. That said, i'll be taking Dortmund to win and score at least two goals since they created more chances on PSV's home ground, and with the advantage they now have I imagine they can get two at the minimum.

Dang, so its kinda like 50 50 huh. Imagine if they actually lose against WB.
Yep, it's a toss-up assuming WB still has the same players.

Moving on the Elite League: WEU closed qualifiers, they're going to have two slots and the first one goes to Entity and their mid laner is now No one as they've won against MOUZ at the upper bracket. As MOUZ now is waiting for the winner of Ninja Penguins and Rest farmers. Two teams that I am familiar with the current roster that they have. It seems that the WEU is quite messy with most pro players are scattered to a lot of new teams with new teammates.
I've added Rest Farmers to my ticket and i'm banking on their experienced players since they've been through different tournaments. They even got one map out of Entity while Mouz got swept when they met in the upper final.

I also included HLE to boost the odds up to 2.07. There's not much for them to play for, but their opponent has been underperforming recently and gave a win to the worst team in their league.

Anyone check (RainsTEAM) ?

https://t.me/RainsTEAM/3512 The monthly say will be shared in the next 1-2 hours, let's see. If these true and real, we can take conclusion these admins are moderator who are working with (Stake).

Before these post, I check my email to make sure the monthly is not being share yet ~xd.
I don't check the RainsTEAM, but they're on point with the monthly coupon being sent out within the next few hours since the official Stake channels posted an announcement about it.

I only received $5 this time (previously I got around $30), and it's not bad considering I stopped for nearly 3 weeks, and then recently continued wagering after a few days.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 12, 2024, 11:13:09 PM
You got lucky with the spread you took as the Cavaliers had only won by 6 points. Great 3rd quarter run by the Suns, booker returning without a minute restriction and he was able to contribute 27, as if nothing happened or not coming from injury. When the big 3 are playing great offense, this team will be so dangerous, first time the big 3 scored huge numbers with a great shooting percentage.
It got dicey at the start because the Cavs were landing 70% of their shots then the Suns started to stabilize in the second quarter and throughout the second half. I surely got lucky with the Cavs fouling at the end and I thought they'd miss at least one free throw.  Cheesy

After the Knicks lost to the Sixers during the weekend, i'd assume they wouldn't lose twice in a row here and with Anunoby playing today i'd give them the edge even though the Sixers are also getting Maxey back.

399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 12, 2024, 04:46:02 PM
Looks like a great win there @ralle14!
Thanks. The injuries for the Timberwolves are starting to become a problem.

Once I hit this ticket, i'll probably participate in that prize drop promo and I hope I can get at least $25 in case I lose my bet.  Wink

I was also looking forward to an Arsenal or Barca daily special, and I guess they have different plans since they're currently offering markets for the other Champions League match.

400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 12, 2024, 01:19:48 AM
I wouldn't hesitate to go with the 1 BTC and call it a day because i'm only a casual gambler. I'd rather play it safe with the lesser reward than go with the possibility of walking away with nothing.

If I were a high roller and 1 BTC was something I could afford then maybe the chance to win 5 BTC wouldn't be a bad option.
