381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC drops below $1000 on: January 17, 2018, 06:00:12 PM

TLDR: My hypothesis based on this observation is, if BTC drops below $1000 threshold Alt coin mining will become nothing more than a hobby and most Alt coin markets will die. Leaving mostly Proof of Stake Alt coins. These are interesting times.

Saved your hypothesis as it was not going to happened. If bitcoin will drops below $1,000 then expect that it will not lasts and will eventually goes down more to un value coin.

Reaching $1,000 again after hitting lots of pump will tagged bitcoin as fail currency due to insufficient support and backup.
382  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 17, 2018, 05:37:49 PM

Puwede niyo simulan pero ako ok na ako sa Php400k monthly in terms of cash in.

LOL i guess losing Irving already decreased 1/2 power of Cavs even they got Thomas back.

Definitely wrong.

It has something to do with other Cavaliers players. Irving is a big factor but the way the other Cavaliers players are performing recently, I see nothing will changed. Look at those Cavaliers losses and see the missing link. It's not Irving but others Cavs players must adjust and not just all about LeBron LeBron LeBron. Compare it back to their winning streak, all Cavaliers players are performing well.

386  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Basic Account can still withdraw to Bittrex and Poloniex without verification? on: December 19, 2017, 11:50:34 AM
I have the same question too.

But after doing research I saw that their is no prompt about verification thing in the withdrawal page of Poloniex. Maybe we can still do withdrawals without verification and as a standard member?

Can anyone clarify this?

Dec 19: We are no longer accepting new signature participants below Legendary members.

Hi!

I was on the first phase of the campaign and I joined last Dec. 1, 2017.

Here are my credentials on the first thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2494912.msg25580637#msg25580637

Now I want to joined on the second phase til Dec 30 but as stated , those who are participated in the first round must register again and you are not accepting new participants now. Can I still joined or is it closed for me now and will just wait for my payment on the first part?

Thank you.
388  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 14, 2017, 03:01:55 AM

Smiley
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 14, 2017, 02:53:20 AM

I don't consider Dallas as part of my picks to be in the playoffs, the Sixers has a better chance than the Dallas mavericks but both are not exciting to watch anymore. I now focus on my team which are the warriors and the Rockets, either one of them will surely win the NBA finals.

Are you a long time NBA poster here? You really compare the status of Sixers today than Dallas Mavericks in terms of entering the playoffs? Funny comparison from a high rank member.

Warriors and Rockets are really good but "SURELY" they will win the NBA finals? Come on too early even they have 85% chances to sealed the season.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are so many ico projects. on: December 14, 2017, 02:44:29 AM
Would you choose to invest more in your ico or pick a few good investments?

Depends on how the ICO will hype even on their sale period. There are projects that you can see have a potential on their early phase.

Mostly I joined their bounty instead if I want to have some rather than investing as Im only an average earner which wants to risks money on trades and not by purchasing tokens at the sale period.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS speculation, is it worth investing? on: December 14, 2017, 02:15:53 AM
Hey guys, what do you think of EOS token and where it would be?

Seems like a great technology but the tokens themselves don’t mean much.

Check this https://steemit.com/eos/@najarramsada/eos-token-what-exactly-is-it-and-should-you-invest-in-this-token

Just let those speculations be spreaded and see if it will bring up and create more positive speculations.

If you aren't sure then this is the time that you need to challenge the risks. Invest and see how this will works.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your favorite altcoin exchange website? on: December 14, 2017, 02:05:11 AM
Whats your favorite altcoin exchange website?

You mean trading platform?

Well it varies since not all coins are listed on a certain exchange. My preferred one is Cryptopia, Hitbtc and Coinexchange. Bittrex and Poloniex are the best at my own view but since they are now strict it limits my trades so I decided not to used them for now.

I don't know how Washington lost to Brooklyn!!! In reality this was a must win match for them - they now slip to 14-13 in the East and are back in the middle of the Pack.  This will come back to bite them end of the season.
Accept it man that's their fate. You seem to be underestimating Brooklyn Nets not everything that we think of a must win will happen. There were teams that are good at defeating stronger teams and there are teams that are surprising us for their wins. The match isn't so bad in my opinion, it was a close game.

Yes, I am also surprised by the defeat of Washington against Brooklyn, but even more surprising for me is the defeat of San Antonio against Dallas!
Cleveland , instead, won easily with Lebron James who made his new record of assists in 1 match: 17!

What surprising about the win of Dallas Mavericks? Record is just a record.

Try to look at Mavericks pervious game and try to check how they able to give their opponent a difficult time just to win including those teams who are in the top record of NBA standing.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: December 13, 2017, 05:15:40 PM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Yes, social media does influence the growth of bitcoin. Since most people now in the world are fond of using social media sites, people can now easily share their knowledge about bitcoin. As we all know, the value of bitcoin is continuoulsy increasing, this popularity in bitcoin has been sensationalize more since the news about bitcoin's breakthrough is also being shared by a lot of people on their social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. This resulted into more people who instantly get curious about what bitcoin is and started to learn on how to invest into it.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: December 12, 2017, 05:00:33 PM
If my backread from far beyond the thread is right, those tokens who aren't in the wallet will not received an automatic swap?

I have some but it's on Etherdelta. Say goodbye now to those?

I do not understand your message, there is a swap of prevu? If so, or did you have the information because I can not find it? I'm waiting for your answer with impatience because my ebtc is currently on EtherDelta and it would annoy me to miss the swap if it is true

Yes according to my backread there is and it really happened.

I will say goodbye now to those coins since it's not on my wallet when the swap happened as it was deposited to Etherdelta. Now that I missed the announcement then I have nothing to do with it. And you can checked it out. The ticker name was eBTCold and not eBTC.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low and selling high on different exchanges on: December 07, 2017, 11:02:30 PM
There are significant differences in pricing on various exchanges. What is to stop someone from buying at a low rate on one exchange, sending it across into another exchange and dumping it for a profit?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets

Can someone please explain the catch?

Sounds easy huh? Arbitrage is not that easy as you think espevially in bitcoin price movement.

Then why not try it for yourself and see if that will give you profit. You will soon know what Im trying to say after you did some testing. Smiley
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop on: December 07, 2017, 10:53:46 PM
Too many of beginners or some person are curious about air drop. For all questions, also me, i am curious on what is Air drop and how it help to ourself.

(I only do work from ICO's and i dont have any much time yet to spread the knowledge about crypto so i didnt know it yet thats why i just asking to help them and also to help me too.)

For a Full Member, it's unusual to saw asking about airdrops. Actually you don't need to start a thread like this since is Airdrop have an obvious definition. Just by reading airdrop instruction you will know what is that all about.

It doesn't matter if you are only working for ICO because knowing what airdrop is like answering 1+1. No need for further explanation.
399  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 07, 2017, 10:46:31 PM
i experienced the difficulty of opening the coins.ph wallet app and even their website since yesterday. what happen to them? is this issue is still regarding about the supply of coins.ph?

There's no issues in converting BTC to PHP, But on the PHP to BTC exchange that's where the problem arise since the supply is slim in coins.ph as of this moment.

So now what, after all the lottery is now legit as the owners says, still no one from bitcointalk got the reward after lots of weekly draws?

Players from bitcointalk really unlucky if that is still the case. Smiley
