381  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase multisig vault - bug unable to withdraw? on: June 20, 2016, 03:45:27 PM
After waiting I kind of got fed up and used the user key and shared key to get the coins out, I freaked out when their system showed I had nothing in it...

382  Economy / Web Wallets / Coinbase multisig vault - bug unable to withdraw? on: June 20, 2016, 11:55:54 AM
I have been trying for two weeks to withdraw my £1500 in bitcoins from my multisig vault. Trying to do the entire balance lead to the vault not giving me the option to enter my passphrase. It would stick on 'this withdrawal is being generated' I slowly reduced the amount until it let me withdraw 0.7 BTC. Then all of a sudden my vault balance only showed 0.03 BTC when there was more in the vault!

I have been trying for a week to get a response from coinbase  support. In the end, I just used my vault backup user key and shared key and recovery tool to get the funds out myself. I do not know if I have stumbled upon a bug. I tried many different machines, different browsers and OS and could not get to the passphrase window unless I entered a small enough amount. In the end lack of support lead to me using my user key and shared key that I had on paper to move coins out of the vault. I do have screenshots of my attempts to withdraw.

383  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: June 18, 2016, 11:37:26 AM
I would keep it spread among different wallets, some in a coinbase multisig vault, some on a ledger, some on a trezor, some on paper wallets, etc etc

Open to offers, escrow accepted via ognasty. I will happily do 0.5 BTC + 0.07 BTC shipping for both.

For anyone who is interested. for 0.1 BTC I have a corsair RM1000 PSU working but with some melted PCI-E ports for when I used it on a pair of antminers last year, the other ports have powered some KNC rigs with no problem for ages (with the load split), hence the cheap price.

Also have an antrouter I will let go of for 0.09 BTC.
385  Economy / Goods / Corsair RM 1000 PSU for sale, working but SEE description 0.12 BTC on: June 16, 2016, 12:03:31 PM
I have for sale a fully working  corsair RM1000 PSU, although a couple of the PCI-E ports on it are slightly melted from when i used a couple of antminers with it without splitting the load. The PSU works fine with the good slots and can be used for either a KNC neptune or titan or antminer without a problem. Selling cheaper than usually worth due to the melted ports, i think it still has the corsair warranty on it but lost the POP.

Escrow accepted via ognasty, an extra 0.05 BTC for worldwide shipping outside of the EU.

Sounds perfect. Thing is even having SHT valued at a single satoshi will make the market cap insane Cheesy I will be a millionaire.

if it ever gets added it would be on a LTC or DOGE market as 1 sat BTC is way too much.

Of course, I was taking the micky Cheesy

400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos: “Bitcoins Belonging to Satoshi Should Be Destroyed” on: May 28, 2016, 12:15:09 AM
I see your point; I suggest a compromise; allow some to be stolen (for the good of the community) (eventually) and burn the rest.  We only touch non-hashed coinbase coins.

So you think if someone leaves their car door unlocked too long that gives you the right to light the car on fire to prevent the car from being stolen? That's madness!

No, you don't burn anything. Those coins belong to their owners exclusively and it's their responsibility to keep them safe. Not yours, not the community's, not anyone else's.

I agree, wholeheartedly.
