381  Economy / Lending / Re: I need the BTC equivalent of $800 on: July 21, 2013, 02:39:11 AM
How exactly would that work online?
You could provide a digital collateral like ASICminer shares or send something valuable through the mail. For example, if you had an iPad, you would mail it to me and I could freely give you loans up to it's value because I could sell it if you default.

Bump - I seriously need this money, the terms are completely negotiable and I can provide as much proof of identity as you guys want....
Can you provide collateral?
383  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need someone with DJ or Song Mixing experience. [0.175 BTC prize] on: July 19, 2013, 01:46:22 AM
I did this in Traktor because I haven't used Audacity in a while, but it only uses volume adjustment and a slight bump to the BPM so I think it could easily be done. Of course there are plenty of other things you could in the same spot, but I don't remember what Audacity is capable of.

Have you tried burning anything with it?
385  Economy / Services / Re: Get up to 0.30 BTC a month for your signature! on: July 13, 2013, 02:47:58 AM
Still active?
Bit777's offer is still active.
386  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .30 btc loan on: July 12, 2013, 01:09:51 AM
As I posted before, he was obviously a scammer and I wanted the fun of hunting him.

Wanna buy my pirate debt then? Tongue
I don't think I'd be the first one who's tried to find him. Wink
387  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .30 btc loan on: July 12, 2013, 12:55:07 AM
He owes me BTC1 and all his information (except IPs) have already been publicly posted. Not to invade on your ransom, but I hope Joey will have the decency to pay off his debt to me first.

When he pays my ransom I will send you back the original amount you lent minus a 20% stupidity tax for falling for this guys scam.

You are free to collect your debt all you want. You haven't done a whole lot other than post his name and stuff, actions speak louder than words.

For example, I've been doing lots in order to collect my random, including trying to convince a debt collection agency that he owes me $12k, we will see how that goes...
As I posted before, he was obviously a scammer and I wanted the fun of hunting him. It's not so urgent that I need to spend time on him unless it's convenient, so it might take a while. Some actions have been taken, but I'd rather not post them here and risk more to my anonymity. An account tied to an identity is what got Joey discovered; It would be foolish for a user to do the same.
388  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .30 btc loan on: July 12, 2013, 12:41:00 AM
I've given Joey the option of paying me 5BTC to not fuck up his life, he's read the PM's, I'm going to give him 24 hrs to pay up or atleast try and reason with me, I need time to prepare anyways.

I'll make you a deal. I think you are Joey, if you admit that you are, your in the clean, if you keep denying it, well lets just say Joey won't like what happens to him, something bad will happen....

You've got 24 hrs to make your mind up. So, are you Joey?
I have no idea what you're talking about. My name isn't Joey.
If you truly are not Joey, you have nothing to worry about. I'm curious to see what happens to him.
391  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .30 btc loan on: July 11, 2013, 07:01:17 PM
You will not be receiving a loan from anyone.
392  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for .30 btc loan on: July 11, 2013, 06:36:38 PM
lol

how old is this kid?
Joeyjmr8484, the likely owner of that account, is 29 years old. I'd expect this from a child, but a 29 year old man should do better than this.
393  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 11, 2013, 04:02:15 AM
Come on, there has got to be better uses of time than this thread... please let it die, lesson learned.
It's still relevant to me, but you're free to ignore the thread if you choose.
394  Economy / Services / Re: 911!!! NEED A HERO MEMBER TO OVERSEE ESCROW ON TRADE NOW on: July 11, 2013, 03:37:18 AM
How do I gauge trust as it simply says 0/0?
You can use John K's escrow service. He is a global moderator and very reputable.
395  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 11, 2013, 03:32:25 AM
sorry everyone, ironically on my way over last week i got t-boned on my way through cleveland, and i only got out of the hospital this morning. not quite feeling up to it, and the oxycontin isn't helping on that front, though it's much better with soothing my ribcage. maybe next week, unless anyone else is up for it between now and then.
Oh my, I'm glad you're alright. Joey's debt isn't worth your health, but I wouldn't object if you wanted to try again after you recover. I hope you feel better soon and thank you for being so helpful!
396  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS/Groupbuy] Bitcoin Guitar Picks on: July 09, 2013, 12:04:13 AM
Sorry guys, look like the guy who said he wanted 800 picks is a scammer.  Not surprised...   This does mean that we go back to the first tier of pricing.

This puts us in an awkward scenario because I am not sure how many decided to buy due to the low price.

I have updated the price table in the OP, and if you no longer want the picks, or want less, edit your post or delete it.
Sorry to see that he was a scammer. I'll still buy five.
397  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS/Groupbuy] Bitcoin Guitar Picks on: July 08, 2013, 08:21:14 PM
I'll take five.
398  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 08, 2013, 07:49:49 PM
Joey has been reported to the Euclid police chief for prostitution.
399  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 08, 2013, 07:11:53 PM
Getting us all gased up that you will be paying Joey a visit and now you seem to be letting this issue go. So lame dude. This thread has gone from epic to epic FAIL.

+1

I though someone was going to visit Joey on Wed?  What happened?
Player3 had volunteered to visit Joey, but he hasn't posted anything since last Wednesday and hasn't logged in for two days. I wonder what happened to him.
400  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: July 08, 2013, 02:18:34 PM
I'm just new to the Bitcoin community and I happened to see this. Austin, it's depressing to see a 29 year old acting like a child at his age. Even children can be more mature than the OP. All I can say is that I hope you are able to get your money back and next time be more careful with the people who you lend money to. Could you keep the thread updated if you don't mind with anything new as time goes on?
I'll keep this thread updated as things progress. It might take a while because Joey isn't a top priority, but I'll get it back eventually.

Seems legit. How much do you currently need?
I had planned on including the BTC0.05 from Tradefortress as a payment to help joey, but I don't think he deserves that. He currently owes me BTC1.
