I am reasonably new to Bitcointalk, I am working on giving some well thought out posts to get some cred for upcoming reasons. Im a bit confused by the auto draft save I generally try and put a educated response (Most times), and sometimes get a message Under 360 sec and it is saved to draft. When I go back to try and post it says I am trying to duplicate. Then it is the last I see of the message or draft.
Any help on this. some content is quite valuable and a shame for it to not been seen by others (Avoiding LBC fraud, Gambling addiction and a few other helpful things)
Any advise on this is appreciated. I normally work on LBC so trying to stretch my BTC network slow and steady!!!

Passive income. After working hard for my $$$ for over 20 years, I now want to wake up and see how much is in the bank over night. Nice low maintenence Biz. 1/2 way there now.
As far as 100 coin goal in 5 years. Set goals higher. Just have to be a little bit smarter and more motivated than everyone else, NOT a lot smarter and motivated, just a little.
No one gets ahead by being average. Average person, average income, average issues. Think about it...

As a localbitcoin trader I have helped 100's or 1000's get their 1st bitcoin purchase. After all that time I really have no idea what they use it for, I would assume gambling or Drugs, but no one ever actually lets me know EXCEPT the people getting fucked by ransomware. They really are innocient people that have no idea on BTC other than they know they need it. Some people want a few 10's other ones want serious $1000's to $10,000's Very scarey seeing the absolute turnover of users and sellers. Massive and very interesting to be involved in

As a 4000 plus trader on localbitcoin I can say that the price means nothing, I see many traders freak out and stop buying and selling when there is movement, but I just ride all the high and lows without issue. Always buy coins when offered and always sell when buyers come regardless of price drop or increase. I find that if I make a loss, the very next trade will rebound as I am buying at the new lower rate anyway. HOWEVER saying that, it does give me the shits when I cant other pro trader using me as their scape goat when there is a drop on bitstamp and LBC has about 10 to 15 min before catch up. In that case I have told a few to cancel, BUT even then I normally buy. Bit scarey with the ups and downs over the last few weeks, but as I rode the increases while selling, I killed it. More than enough to cover the odd ball loss. Not sure if a stable BTC and lower set margins is better than making a killing or even loosing on massive up's and down. That is from a LBC trader point of view!!! NOT a investor. I only buy coins to sell them.

One of the concerns I see raised when it comes to the network, mining and the transaction chain is the computing power, bandwidth and storage required to keep transactions moving. This is no different to mainstream banks except in comparison their fee's to users is unjustified.
The saving grace is that computing power, bandwidth and storage is now relatively cheap compared to 5-10 years ago. Having worked in IT for almost 20 years it has been amazing to see the change from massive 100MB hard drives to 8000000MB drives. CPU power has been the same, jumping from 20MHz to multiple 2GHz cores in one chip.
I would love to see Quantum computing and the Q-Waves in action as mining systems on a nice 10GB fibre link and some SSDs.

As someone who has been around gambling their whole life (learned to bet on horses at 5) I do see how it can affect people adversely. (Me in another thread) I do find myself hooked on games; not just gambling but also video games, cards, monopoly, etc. I don't like to loose so will keep at it. My biggest loss in a night was $4000 (AUD) on roulette over 30 minutes ( and no it wasn't on Martingate, just poor decisions ). So the question I was asking is if you could self-exclude from the online games would you use that feature? Would you activate a 24 hour / 48 hour / 1 week / permanent ban on yourself from an online game? From a development point it would be somewhat easy to implement to "user ban" but it wouldn't stop you from signing up another account. There would be ways of identifying you (IP / Browser / etc) and try to enforce your ban for you but someone dedicated will always find a way. Just curious though if we should be adding this into systems we build.

I used to have it but I lost it all in online gambling. So, my answer is no, for now.

Very scarey guys. I never realised that is how the scammers get that high rep on LBC. I assume you know they are ripping off high quality traders that serve a service to BTC users. Shame Shame Shame...

As for your dreams, I think it is very likely BTC will reach 600 USD It has been floating around the 200-300's for a while now but I can definitely imagine it peaking back and stabilizing at 600.

As much as I am passionate about Bitcoin and its future the day when no more coins can be created puzzles me. Will coins be divided up in society in small amounts for the entire world to use? I don't think so. I think society is too held up by itself. It will adopt, but not everyone will adopt. I don't know what the future holds..

The biggest problem I have ever had with Bitcoin is one time when I used blockchain.info web wallet, it sent my coins to my original address and sent the rest to a newly created address.. then the wallet closed, I re-logged in and the coins were gone. Due to connection problems the address's private key was never saved. I would like to see a wallet where your address's private keys are automatically saved and backed up to your computer every time you create a new address.

I don't hold my coins. I always buy and sell . If the price is rising, like it did the past fortnight.. I will not, not-sell to my customers even though if I know the price will increase and I can make more money.

The answer lies with the question. What is the future? The future is the future, it is not the past or the present, it is unpredictable and will be unexpected. We cannot know. Only hope for the best
